In short, my Jeep just doesn't drive the same after visiting Dale's. Nope, it doesn't rock and wobble down the highway after I hit a bump, it no longer has a mind of it's own on washboard, it no longer pulls to right! I had already replaced the shocks and steering stabilizer, but after beating on this jeep (at 160k km's) for the 60k (more off road than pavement) I owned it, knowing it never had any other front end or suspension work (other than me replacing a sway bar link and shocks which I knew this was a band-aid) I was looking at front end work (ball joints and/or tie rods) I didn't bother pry-testing ball joints but figured that was the issue as I thought the tie rods / ends were fine. That said, I know enough to know that I can be wrong and that these are things pro's should look at so I paid for a full inspection. Well it turns out the ball joints had very little play, but the tie rods / ends, track bar and pitman arm were all completely worn. They gave me the quote for parts / labor / alignment and I gave them the go-ahead. Jeep was ready for me the next day. My 2003 TJ feels like a new vehicle. It wasn't cheap, but quality isn't cheap. Parts were high, but shop time was low. It balanced out. Having done my homework and read reviews in advance, I knew this shop does things right and stands behind their work, so I know I'm getting something for the premium on parts. Rolled my eyes a lot seeing reviews from people with the expectation an "alignment" is some magic snake oil fix for front end and steering issues and shocked at quotes to fix. In reality, an alignment is something you get done after you change front end components. It is not something you have done to compensate for worn out parts and bushings. Any shop willing to take your money for an alignment to compensate for problems has no regard for your vehicle or safety. I have seen more than a few wheels melting and falling off on the highway due to this. I can't believe some shops will just take your $100-150 and turn a blind eye? Anyway, to wrap this review up... thank you for making my Jeep solid and safe again (so I don't come down the mountain the "fast way") Thanks to Jeff, Mike, Paul and Joey. Jeff also caught a small valve cover leak (I always thought was a slow main rear seal leak) so I might be calling back soon about that as I'm having trouble finding time to replace the gasket and I'm sure those ball joints are going to need replacement in the next year or two. Great service! - The lift kit and and CVT mounts were installed on my Forester. Alignment was done after the lift to the correct specs. They did a fabulous job without any issues. I went to Dale's last January to have my engine oil plug removed because it was stuck on my oil pan. They did a good job removing it and doing an oil change at the same time. Last week, I did my own oil change and I realized that my engine splash cover is not there anymore. (My mistake here was I should have check everything before leaving Dale's) I called them to ask for it and they said that they do not have any splash engine shield for Subaru Forester. I paid 210$ for the whole service and now I have to pay another 200$ to buy a new engine splash cover. This very poor job on the mechanics side. Removing all the parts that needs to remove then forgot to install it back.

I brought my car in for an alignment. They said to bring it in around 830 am and pick up at 4 pm because they don't do time slots. So I do that. Around 3 pm they call and say a car is stuck on their alignment apparatus and so they can't do the work today. Wasted ~7 hours of my day by leaving me without a car. When I asked why I wasn't told sooner, they said they'd planned to work on my car at 3 anyways (so why did I need to drop the car off at 830...). No apology whatsoever and when I asked what my compensation for my time would be, they said they can knock off 5% (~$10). In my eyes this is a joke. This should be grounds for a free alignment. Regardless I didn't pursue the matter further and will not be returning. Extremely poor customer service. I can forgive most of it but I can't forgive the complete apathy towards customer service. Update: The owner reached out to me to make things right and offered a free alignment in response to the initial poor customer service (IMO). The professionalism and quality of work of the technical staff was excellent and I appreciated that the owner cares so much about individual customers. It would've been easy for Dale's to walk away and leave me upset but they did what it took to make things right. Alignment was completed by appointment this time and finished within an hour. Rating updated to reflect this remedial service.

Jason at Dales does great work!!! they have done work om my Toy 4x4 and Subaru's I even recommended them to my mom after her having issues with tire wear and front suspension. Some other tire shop tried to fix it but didn't fix the issue after spending $2k. Dales had her up and running in an hour for a few hundred bucks. Luckly the other shop realized they messed up and gave my mom here money back.

As far as automotive repairs go my experience with Dales has been consistently excellent! Everything is done right the first time and on time. Perhaps they could conceivably improve their service by rolling out a red-carpet for their customers, and have pretty girls serve complimentary cocktails.

One of the best Service Centers I have been to. I have been getting parts from Dale's for almost 6 months. I brought my car in thinking I had a mount problem. Jason took the time to hoist it up and show me the car was fine. And knowing I want to Auto X the car showed me where to start on up grading the mounts. But the mounts on my car are still good for now! I have no problem telling people this is a great shop!

These guys ROCK! My Lexus IS350 (slightly modified) was running OK but it was time for a regular oil service. The technician picked up on the fact that the car was running a bit rough and the oil was in poor condition. They dug further and found out that there was a lot of carbon build up in the engine. They called a recommended the carbon flush and we went ahead with that. WOW was it worth it! The car runs better than it has for ages and there is a bit more zip and quicker throttle response. Every time these guys touch my car it comes back better than when it went in. I trust these guys with my car and would recommend them to anyone looking for a great shop with very knowledgeable staff and technicians. They are very up front with their pricing and you know going in what it's going to cost you. I will bring back as long as they are around.

Guy at the front desk had a care less attitude. Was there 5 minutes before my appointment time and was told work would start on time. Return 45 minutes later (walking around - no courtesy car available as stated on website) only to see my car in the lot sill not being worked on. Went inside - no information offered - I had to ask if my car was finished and was told they hadn't even started on it yet. Mechanics out the back might be great (i never found out) - customer service out the front was garbage. Phoned Kal tire and got an appointment, took my keys and left before they ever got started. Never again.

I asked gentleman at reception if he can arrange new tires same day, he called his supplier and installed new tires on my car same day. Everything was perfect apart from the fact that I didn't ask for brake inspection but they did it and told me afterwards that they have done it and even provided me quote on new brake pads and rotors without asking for one. I realized only when I reached home and opened pdf invoice emailed to me that they have added 119 dollars in bill for brake inspection. I don't know if other shops inspect brakes by default and add to bill automatically when customers go for new tire installation. Anyways thankyou for getting me tires same day. Update- Jameson called me immediately and explained that it was system error. He processed my refund and emailed my copy in less than five mins. I really appreciate it. Thankyou Jameson.

Whether it's for a stock family vehicle or heavily modified 4x4 pick up they have earned that. Multiple employees have gone above and beyond for me during that time to make sure things are done right and then some. Have I ever had an issue with any work over the last decade? Of course. No one is perfect. However that has been where they have earned my loyalty the most in fixing those problems and making me happy. I recommend them to anyone looking to give a new shop a chance. You won't be disappointed.

The customer service was TERRIBLE, I had to keep calling to find out what was happening with my car and after calling twice in one day they told me they would call me back and failed to do so. When the car was done being looked at and was finally ready to be picked up there was a big scratch on it that was not there before. I told them it had to have happened in the time they had it and they said if it happened in their lot they would not be liable and that if I wanted to see footage I would have to pay. Then another worker came up and proceeded to say I was lying and that there was absolutely no way it happened in their care and I should go figure out where it happened because it didn’t happen there. In the end I had an inflated estimate of the work needed to be done and a scratched car, don’t waste your time going here.

My 2009 Smart fortwo needed urgent repairs and Dale's was not only extremely professional, but they had everything ready to go within 2 business days of me dropping off the car. They worked with my schedule, and still managed to get the car back to me so quickly. The price was fair and honest. There communication was also spot on. I have been searching for a reliable & honest mechanic and I have finally found "the one". Myself and my husband will be bringing our vehicles here from now on. Around 2002 or so, another shop in Surrey had done some suspension work on a car that I previously owned. They had recommended I get the alignment done at Dales. So I had the alignment done, and Dale himself was working at that time. He was very friendly, professional and the alignment was done in a couple of hours. Fast forward to 2012, current car. There were problems with some suspension work done by another shop in Vancouver, whom weren't getting back to me. I remembered Dale and the good service received, and so I contacted them. I believe it was Jason I was messaging back and forth at the time. He had quickly responded to all my email inquiries. Again, the same friendly and professional attitude I had received with Dale almost decade before. They installed new shocks/springs plus did an alignment, and it was all completed the same day. Any future suspension upgrades, I will definitely be going back to Dales Alignment. Highly recommend them!

Took me a year to realize that the coilovers I bought from Dale's may not be best for my BMW Coupe, they sold me coilovers for a convertible, even tho it fits the difference would be in stiffness according to ST Suspension, I paid $2980.20 including taxes and alignment, If you own a BMW you better off buying coilovers online and have the BMW pro at CG Motorsports do the installation.

I have an old beetle And for years I hesitated to take it to an alignment shop because not many people know old cars, heard about Dales and they knew everything and more than I ever did about my old car and took care of my baby! I have OCD and my car came back perfect! I am extremely upset. I filled out Dale's customer satisfaction survey and they did not even bother to reply. I brought my 1955 beetle in to have it aligned at Dale's on Thursday, April 20th, 2017 and it is completely undriveable now. They not only did a very poor job but they wrecked my car! I brought it in and before anything, at any alignment shop anywhere in Canada or the world for that matter, the first thing you do is do a suspension inspection to make sure its SOLID. I'm guessing they either didn't do it at all which is completely unprofessional or they did this suspension inspection and found it to be Rock Solid and because their alignment was so poorly done it damaged my car. Either way Dale's is at fault. No alignment shop anywhere doesn't do a test drive before and especially after the alignment job. DO YOU KNOW HOW IRRESPONSIBLE AND UNSAFE THAT IS? Dale's didn't do either as Jeff told me clearly that he did not test drive the car. "Oh we never do on the old Beetles" he said. It's obvious that he did not test drive the car because there was absolutely no return on the steering wheel and I almost crashed into a median! I brought it back 10 minutes later and Jeff and the other technician had a look at it and told me that the kingpins and the tie rod end seem to have play in them. Are you kidding me?! That means you didn't do an inspection before doing the alignment! My father owned a Chevron service station for 30 years, my uncles were mechanics, and I am also very mechanically inclined. My stepfather is a custom car builder along with many friends that have 30 plus years in the mechanic industry as well as the VW Specialist who installed my brand new front end and ALL OF THEM cannot believe that Dale's didn't do an inspection before the alignment and didn't test drive it at all after to check their work. This is one of the worst displays of business practice I have ever heard of in my life. Of course then there's the fact that I replied to their customer survey several days ago and they've ignored it because I'm guessing they didn't like it? What I wanted was a full refund. Finally someone called me back when I threatened to post honest reviews of their horrible workmanship. They wouldn't even own up to "WHAT THEY SAID THEY DID" like moving the steering box which made the steering wheel bind. The best part? When I told him that I am now hearing other mechanics say "Don't go to Dale's... they a scam artists" I'm feeling like an idiot for not seeing your other 1 star reviews where people are very unhappy. Preface...not a regular customer here, but live in Langley and am shopping around for a regular spot. Also, what drew me here was that they were open on a Sunday. So, about to go on holiday the following day and find a metal screw in my tire....on a Sunday. I see that Dale's is open 7 days a week, so I take the tire off and drive down there. After all, if the tire can be plugged and patched, it is a 30 minute job at most. Get down there, and the guy says he is full up and can't help. Fair enough, who am I to judge their busy-ness level. But then he says this: Are you a returning customer, to which I say no, and then he says "sorry, can't help you." So the implication is this, had I been there before, we probably could have helped you, but since you haven't, get lost. I don't know about you, but if there is time and a potential new customer is looking for some emergent assistance, you'd think the smart business practice would be to be sure, we'd love to help. Needless to say, never going back. Would rather drive out of my way to Abbotsford or Maple Ridge than to reward this type of behaviour. As addendum, as you can see below for their reply, you can see what you are up against. I was polite to them yesterday, and not surly today. What possible reason could there be to ask me if I am a returning customer after I had already been turned away. Been bringing my past and current Subaru's to dales since 2017, always have been super nice upfront people, and have gotten the dumbest of things done for me that I am ashamed to even ask. All questions are answered and all problems solved every time. Just got my first dose of performance mods done on my car and couldn't be happier with how it turned out. I almost always have dealt with Jameson and he treats me like family when I'm there. These are the go to Subaru guys, and any other vehicle you'd need serviced would get the same treatment. I wouldn't trust having my WRX in anyone else's hands.

Well done inspection and quality work. With that said, they did not honor their word. We came in for an alignment and were told a few things needed to be fixed first. The quoted cost was more than the value of the car, so we fixed the car ourselves. We were told the money we had already paid for the inspection would be credited towards further work if we came back. However, when we came back with the car repaired and ready for the alignment, we were told that we had to have ALL the work done there for the credit to be applied. This was not what we were told originally. Had I known this I would have gotten the alignment done elsewhere, but they would not budge on it and the work was already done. Overall not a great experience.

Shinning example of how to do business. They were busy the last time I was in there and were taking a while because it was busy. I said i was in a rush, more or less my own fault for coming in and not having much time to spare. The next day it was done quick. A wheel alignment on my car is what I had done. There was a spec sheet he showed me of what it was at which is great, more places should do that. He even told me what was getting done and the common issues with my vehicle. Night and day after they fixed the problem. They even gave me a discount on the work done which they didn't have to do. The least I can do is give them a good review. I've been taking my WRX to Dale's for around seven years or so. Recently, a mishap with a bent control arm resulted in the following. -diagnosed quickly, several options offered to me, dependent on budget -tracked down replacement upgrade parts, was kept abreast of timing -dropped car off in the morning, got car back in the afternoon repaired, improved, and set up properly, this despite several hiccups encountered getting it right. -followed up with twice by employees post-repair to see if I was satisfied with the work. While I'd classify myself a car nut, having a toddler at home means I don't have time to deal with things with the attention to detail I'd like. That's why having the crew at Dale's is such a boon, and why I'll drive the hour out to have my car worked on by them any time. They do it right, and I trust them - it's hard to find trust in any transactional experience these days, but they've earned my business time and again, and I will continue to spend my money there.

i cannot recommend this shop, as their quote was $300 over and above the price to have the work done at the dealership. I should have taken the hint when the fellow that took my call seemed annoyed I didn't buy the springs from them. Not only that, but Eibach (the maker of the springs) stated that since it is only a 1" change in ride height, an alignment is not needed. 1.5" and above it is required. The dealership agreed with this, but this shop said it is mandatory. They also quoted a "book time" of .6 hours above the dealership. When a private shop charges %33 more than the dealership that makes your car, you know you are not getting a good deal. I would avoid at all costs. EDIT: In response to the comment from the owner: Reread my review. I did not say dealership didn't recommend alignment. I said manufacturer of the springs did not (Eibach). I did not get the alignment, and have since taken it to Chrysler, and the alignment is within spec. Seems Eibach was right. You said it was "mandatory". So not only were you 33% more, you said an alignment I did not need was "mandatory". The fact that my alignment is within spec shows that you wanted to upsell. I will in fact leave the review up so everybody can see your lack of basic comprehension. Eibach is not a dealership. The shop I did end up going to recommended it, but I turned it down as I would rather do that through Chrysler. Regarding your "in depth education" I will pass. I will suggest you take more time to read though, to avoid future comments that don't actually address what was said.

If I can give 0 stars I would. Came in to get my car aligned, got quoted somewhere between $109-120. 2 hours after I drop the car off I get a call. The guy tells me that during the alignment, one of the mechanics snapped off and broke one of the parts on my suspension and that it's going to be more than $700 dollars to fix everything along with the alignment. Why should I be responsible to pay for something that they broke? If you break something, you fix it. I feel scammed and ripped off. NEVER take your car to these guys, worst experience I ever had. They scam and rip you off IN RESPONSE TO THE OWNER AND HIS RUDE, SARCASTIC RESPONSE. Your technician kept changing the story. First he told me over the phone that my car was rusty underneath, then when I told him I did an oil change myself a couple days ago and there was no rust, the story quicky changed from rusty, to "corroded" your bolt was "corroded" on your wheel . Then when my parents came into the shop , he told them that the bolt looked "just fine" , and that the did the procedure because they didn't know that the bolt was seized. Regardless of if my Honda is high mileage, real mechanics test things first, they don't guess. Even if he saw that the bolt was rusty or corroded, it's COMMON SENSE to apply lubricant I.e wd40 on the bolt and wait. Bottom line is. FURTHERMORE, if the car is in YOUR hands, YOU are responsible. Are you saying that if my car fell off the hoist, I have to pay? The mechanic owed me a duty to properly repair my vehicle in a skillful manner. By breaking a part, he breached that duty. This is called negligence. And I honestly thought that because you are the owner, your responses to bad reviews would be apologetic, and understanding. But instead you sound like your are always right, have to have things your way, and that us customers are always in the wrong, and that it's always our fault because our vehicle had high mileage or whatnot . Very immature . Us customers see right through that. NOT TO MENTION I GOT THREATENED over the phone that, if I did not "take down" my review, they "won't fix the car"

Worst auto shop experience of my life. They made us sign an inspection approval that cost us almost $150 with tax. Then they told us that we needed to spend $6850.00 before they would consider doing an alignment. They also told us our tires date had expired. Canadian tire had just mounted the tires for us and couldn't adjust the camber without a specific tool. Clearly Dales auto service needs to change their approach before I could ever recommend them.

Brought my car in for some road noise and alignment issues. Excellent customer service from Jameson, even though he was the only staff there and was insanely busy with all the calls and customers walking in. Dale's should hire another staff to help him out. For those living west of Surrey/Langley, the closest skytrain station is King George and it's a $40 taxi ride from Dale's. So asking someone for a ride to/from there is highly recommended.

I visited Dale's Auto Service in December to get a wheel alignment done on my car. When I came to pick it up I was informed that they cannot do an alignment and quoted me for replacing lower ball joints and struts instead, a $1600+ bill. I was also charged $92 for a "pre-alignment inspection". The parts in the quote were severely marked up - I could have ordered OEM ones myself for about half the price, and aftermarket for even less. I took my car to another shop for a second opinion. They were able to do a wheel alignment just fine and re-balanced one of my tires. They told me that my ball joints and struts were not in need of replacing. The car now tracks straight with no issues and I've put around 10k on the odometer since then.

After having numerous experiences here in Victoria where the shop inevitably screwed something up it was a refreshing change to deal with these guys. They were very professional and friendly and the guy doing our alignment spoke with me about exactly what I wanted before doing the work. It was very obvious that he was very knowledgeable and was very familiar with Subarus. The job was done very quickly and the settings I got were very dialed in. I just want to give a great review for Dale's Alignment & Brake. These guys are awesome and I can't say enough good things about the work they do. My most recent transaction with them couldn't have gone any smoother. Jason was able to answer my questions, give me some recommendations, and get me a quote very promptly -- even on a weekend. Despite them being located in Surrey, BC and me in Calgary, their prices were MUCH cheaper even after shipping than some of the more popular local shops (one of which didn't even bother responding to my inquiries). The first time "I" did business with them, my sister was living out in Vancouver a few years back and was having car troubles. This is the best shop in town to take your vehicle to and here's why. I went 4x4ing with my truck and smashed into a stump with my passages side tire so everything on that side dealing with the tire was messed up. So I went to my old mechanic and he told me it was my upper and lower control arms then I need new shocks and a aliment and I be good to go so that's what I did and got the aliment but they still couldn't get the tire straight. The aliment shop said it's this and it's that so I brought it back to my mechanic and got the other things changed and then another aliment and still the tire was messed up so after I spent over 5 grand with those guys I decided to take it to dales aliment because my friends told me good things about them so I did. Before bringing it dales i swap everything part other then my steering knuckle and they found out if I where to keep driving the truck I would have lost a tire because my other mechanics swapped out the lower control arm and the ball joint and it wore out the socket in then control arm so bad the ball joint was just sitting there and I am talking like a week old lower control arm all because of the Dumbass mechanics before not knowing or checking out my truck properly. Dale and his guys are class A mechanics and They took my truck and fixed it better then when I bought the truck they gave me a aliment better then everyone else could and fixed my lift kit that was thrown out of aliment too these guys are amazing and if only I brought my truck to them first I could have saved a lot of money so if you have truck problems forget about your other mechanics and take it to dales they will treat you very well and your vehicle will be fixed right the first time. ????????????????????

12 years and counting of great service! Both my current vehicles have all their regular maintenance done at Dale's. Both have had their engines properly rebuilt at Dale's. Jason, Jameson, Darryl and Mike - and now Paul have always taken great care of me and my STI and WRX's. I also know for a fact that they do "whatever" it takes to make customers have the best experience possible when dealing with auto repairs. Become a regular - you owe it to yourself.

Made effort to drop car off early in the morning (8am) and left it there all day for an alignment. Showed up after work at 4-5ish and they said they totally forgot and it slipped through the cracks. Accidents do happen I suppose, but a tough situation when I've got places to be that evening. More so was that they didn't make any effort to make it up to me, no discount, no offers for next time, etc. Plus they then performed the alignment in 15-20 min which makes me think perhaps they just cruised through it. $100+ for alignment for 20 min seems a bit steep ($300 shop rate?) My suspicions on them cruising through it were reaffirmed when they said they left the rear toe because the adjuster was frozen. Tough to say if that's true or the initial setting was "good enough" for a quick end of the day rush job. My suspicions were again affirmed when they mentioned "oh ya, the wheel doesn't track perfectly straight". Mentioned that it had something to do with the caster and geometry of the car that they couldn't change. Insisted the alignment was fine, but it's a "car issue". Again seemed like an end of the day excuse and the fact that they probably didn't want to get it back on the rack. I questioned why they didn't just turn one tie rod in a bit and the other out, but they said it's not that simple. Sure seems that simple to me, or at least as simple as: "we didn't get it quite right, it'll be another 20 minutes". Final impressions a little iffy as well since they really requested I come back for another alignment when the springs settle. Well, I had already driven 1500-2000km and checked the toe to be close with my wheel measurements before driving it. But even still they said it needed to be done. I asked why, but they didn't seem to have a good reason. I suppose for other users cars where the springs are brand new it can be needed, but even in that case I'd like to seem them say "we measured your actual ride heights at all 4 corners today, bring it back in in a month and if measurements have changed by X, we'd recommend an additional alignment. We do this additional alignment at a discounted rate of X". They instead sort of used scare tactics that toe will be out wildly and you'll ruin your tires if you don't come back. All this said, though the wheel is off ever so slightly, the car does drive well. Could even have gone up to 3 stars, but it was just too many things. As the local subaru experts, I will probably still end up going back as I know they can do good work. Lets hope this is an isolated incident and maybe next time when they have some more time I can see the kind of attention to detail others have been experiencing.

So I went in and told them the car is pulling to the right. I suspected an alignment needed to be done. After walking around and working out of the nearest hotel for more than an hour. They called saying that the ball joint was shot and I need new tires. They quoted me $1400. To fix the ball joint and get new tires, and $650 for just the ball joint. I thought this was too expensive so I left to find another mechanic. It turns out it wasn't the ball joint at all. It was perfectly fine. They told me to change the tires. I did and everything was fixed. No ball joint replacement or alignment necessary. They are either not very honest, or not very skilled.

There aren't enough starts for Dale's. I have installed aftermarket suspension components on my Miata ND and brought it to another known tuning shop in Burnaby to get it dialed in and aligned for a track day. When i drove the car at highway speeds after the first alignment i felt that the car was pulling to the left every time i pressed on the gas and then to the right when i let off the gas pedal, so i brought it back to get realigned. They did and both times on paper the numbers looked even, so i thought that it might be due to track specs alignment, tires, there might be something wrong with the suspension or thats how it will be due to the suspension modifications on a short wheel base car, but i couldn't figure out which parts could cause this as i installed too many parts at once. I took the car to the track day, and on the track i had no confidence pushing the car due to how it behaved, after the track day i took it back to the Burnaby shop to get realigned to street specs and once again the numbers on paper showed that the car is straight but the problem was still there. In the city the problem wasn't noticeable, but at highway speeds the car felt very unstable, so i started to dislike driving it on the highway and driving it at all. After the winter i decided to bring it to Dale's as i have done some work there before, once the guys checked the alignment they said that on Miatas there are more things to align then just camber and toe and even though the wheels were straight the suspension arms were completely out of alignment. The guys rechecked all my aftermarket suspension, realigned everything, we also switched back to stock wheels and tires because we thought that might have been the problem as well and when i drove the car home i couldn't believe how stable the car is on the highway, i put back my aftermarket rims and tires and the car is still as straight as an arrow, doesn't pull anywhere when i accelerate and feels extremely stable on highway speeds. Dale's brought my love for the car back, because i was starting to dislike driving it due to the way it felt on the highway. I was even planning to reverse it back to stock and sell, yesterday i drove the Miata down on Sea to Sky and all i could think is how happy i was that i brought it to Dale's to rechek and how i can't wait to leave them a review! Thank you guys!

Dales seemed to do a good job. I recently installed a 2" lift, 2.5" spacers and new BF Goodrich KO 2's so I needed an alignment. I typically service my own vehicles, but given I just had a baby I had no time to complete the work needed. I still inspected the job and found a boot on the steering stabilizer that wasn't bound properly and had to return anyway for an inspection fee refund, but they were happy to fix the errors. Things happen, and they're a busy place. I know they're honest because I had spent the month before replacing the front axle seal and could see the play in a few places. Nothing was a surprise. At the end of the day my Jeep drives straight and I'm confident I won't have the dreaded Jeep WJ "death wobble" any time soon.

Their customer service is by far the best I have experienced in the "automotive industry" to date... I found myself bragging about it to others after I left. When I dropped off my vehicle, I was immediately made to feel comfortable and confident, and the process was clearly outlined to me before I left my vehicle in their hands. They were fully booked, yet they still offered to squeeze me in (on a Sat) if I could leave my vehicle with them for the day so that it was convenient for me, as going there on a weekday would have been difficult. I was happy to learn that the price quoted over the phone was the price they charged me at the end of the day -which was very competitive and saved me a LOT from the price quoted from my dealership. I typically don’t bother with reviews. But the team at Dale’s did such an excellent job I felt compelled to do so. I had an issue with the charging system in my truck and after a few weeks of trying to chase and diagnose it myself to no avail I needed to call someone. I found Dale’s through google and liked what I read in the reviews. From the moment I walked in I was treated as if I was a customer that had been giving them my business for years. Not only did they give me what I felt was a reasonable quote, but once the actual work was done it came in less than the quote I was given. I have always enjoyed working on my own vehicles but have no clue with electrical systems. And anytime I leave a shop I question what was done and what I paid for. But again, with Dale’s, it was a fair price and I feel that I got total peace of mind with having the work completed. From now on Dale’s will be my go to when I can’t do the work myself.

THE WORST SHOP FOR REPAIRS,my first and last time to this shady shop,they did my coilovers on my supra and mixmatched the coilovers the 1 front was in the rear and the one supposed to be in the back they installed in front and they never preloaded the springs it was loose, abs bracket bolt missing also only one bolt installed talk about quality of work ya right overcharched me till the last minute had my car there for 6 days kept delaying the work and they where supposed to call me to fix this issue but they never did,now iam seeking legal advice gonna take them to court if i can because my kids ride in my car also, bunch of liers they are, if you got a jdm car stay away they will rip you off left and right, i made a big mistake giving them my car for repair.never again

Had Dale's install some HID fog lights on my F-150 about a year ago. One of the lights went out about 8 months later. I replaced the bulb with no success. Took the truck back to Dale's. They attempted to fix the problem without success so they ordered a whole new kit and asked me to come back. I left disappointed but I returned as they asked. They spent a couple more hours on the truck and were able to fix the issue and because of the inconvenience of having to come back, they covered the whole bill. I left a very happy customer.

Horrible service‼️ Before I got there I spoke to Mike who clued me in on the courtesy car protocol, I understood and accepted his description. Upon arrival Jameson tells me they do not have courtesy cars? He decided I should once again be enlightened about the courtesy car. I stated I know the deal and need a car? When I once again stated I understood and needed a car, he rudely said well I have to make it clear. I was unhappy that a car was not ready for me. Poor service. I wasted 30 minutes waiting for a car. After my car was diagnosed , I was sent a text message about the diagnosis. Nothing in my email? Turns out incompetent Jameson cannot write my email down correctly. I decided that their prices were astronomical and I would not pursue service. When picking up my car I waited another 20 minutes because the poor young gal at the front wasn’t sure how to proceed..Jameson was on the phone (loudly) watching all of this transpire. He could have easily told the customer on the phone to hold a moment but no, he rudely ignored the young gals attempts to get his help, meanwhile we all waited for him. Horrible customer service. I am shocked that a shop with such a great service rep would have such a rude, disrespectful person running the show. If only Dale knew…I expect a long rebuff from him on here as all thru the bypass he is well known for his rudeness and poor customer service skills…he must be family to remain. I cannot be the only one he was rude too. Very, very disappointed. I will take my car elsewhere and never, ever recommend Dales. .

I'm writing this review as I chose this place based on Google maps reviews! I do not contest the professional work or anything else. I would like to point out that I sent my girlfriend there to swap her tires, on alloy rims + balancing, she drives a German car with factory "run flat tires" she's been asked $300 + tax. She's been told apparently it's a 2hrs job, coming from run flat tires to regular tires is very hard to remove the old tires of rims, they've been glued, bla bla bla... Lots of negative mentions accompanied by the 2 hours labor job. So the total was $300 + tax and another $160 + tax for the wheel alignment. $460 + tax. I just wanna mention, tires cost me $400 ($360 actually cause I got $40 mail in rebate). Fortunately, I sent her to some other place and got the tires swap and balancing for only $100 + tax. And the wheel alignment in some other place for $120. $220 Vs. $460?! Seriously, the difference is way to much to be neglected. Anyone can set whatever price they want, I get it, but we the customers can leave honest reviews and provide with different price alternative too. Just want to make myself clear, I didn't and I will not mention in the review where to find cheaper. Again, no questioning about work or professionalism... But I think asking 3X more for a 30 minutes job and making it looking like a very tough job just to justify the requested amount just because she's blond and driving a German car it's a little over to much.

I took my 2005 Dodge Viper to Dales to have a 4 wheel alignment done as the vehicle was driving everywhere but in a straight line. From the moment they began to ask me what the issues with the car were I could tell that these guys knew exactly how to fix it. Two hours later I received a call that it was done and at a very reasonable price. They give a point by point detailed explanation about what they found and what they did to correct the problem along with a written explanation and picture of your car etc in the report. I had been going to the region’s preferred independent specialist, but on the previous two visits they had kept my cars for over a week. The experience from Dale’s was good from the beginning. I particularly appreciated their inspection results which came with video clips of the work required and estimates of the cost. Had some coilovers that needed adjusting due to granting a way higher ride height than was advertised by Fox (who essentially hung me out to dry, typical Fox customer service). There was a bit of a misunderstanding at first, but that was quickly cleared up. Prompt and straightforward service with knowledgeable guys who know their trucks. Good stuff. Alignment results are perfect, twice; can't say the same for other dealers and shops I've been to in the past. Lug nuts aren't quite at 140 lb-ft though, but at this point that's just splitting hairs and the OE specs for my truck are way on the high side.

These guys are a SCAM! THERE IS A REASON ALL OF THEIR ONE STAR REVIEWS HAVE A THEME! KEEP SCROLLING!! They prey on people who they assume have very little mechanical knowledge. I brought my very well maintained, lifted 4x4 SUV in for an alignment after purchasing new tires. The simplest task turned into a huge witch hunt as they went looking for problems with my vehicle. They told me I had many worn steering components ( which is a lie, those parts were replaced less than a year ago by Kal Tire ) and they refused to do the alignment unless I spent a ridicules amount of money needlessly replacing good condition parts. They had no problem however charging me 65$ for the "pre-alignment inspection". So if you’re looking for a shop to keep your truck for most of a day, do nothing, and then charge you for it, these are the guys for you!

Update: Recent visit at Dales. My 06 STI was diagnosed with a faulty turbocharger by another mechanic while I was out of country. I took the car to Dales for a second opinion, and the car turned out to be malfunctioning due to a clogged catted downpipe. Turbocharger was fine. I very much appreciated how thorough and systematic Dales' technicians are in properly assessing and diagnosing the driveability issue. The front desk staff was very helpful in communicating, and invited me to examine the faulty components. In the end, the car was well taken care of with a proper replacement of downpipe, and has returned to normal performance. I have been taking my family cars to Dales Auto for the past 7 years. Every time I leave, I feel empowered with more knowledge about my cars. The staff is very professional and helpful. Pricing is very fair and up front with no sketchy, hidden costs. I originally reached out by email to get some quotes, and Jason was very helpful and responded quickly to all my requests. They were able to match and beat the price of the springs I wanted, and provide a full package to install the springs, perform an alignment, and mount/balance a new set of wheels for me. I was provided a courtesy car and the service overall was excellent. After the work was done, my alignment report was explained to me and to my surprise a complimentary realignment is offered once the springs have settled in. Dales has always been my goto shop for work I can't do myself. The reason for this trip was a steering issue on my F350 at highway speeds. I figured with new AT tires, I needed a simple alignment. Another shop near my work, diagnosed a bent steering knuckle as the cause. Being the only person that drives my truck I knew this wasn't the case. Dales diagnosed the issue properly as needing new camber sleeves, and they were even able to do the alignment and work the same day. Truck drives as it should now. Well worth the 100km round trip from home to make sure everything is done right.

I initially had Dales perform a wheel alignment on my 1967 Chevelle. They were unable to do a correct wheel alignment and was disappointed in the alignment fee. I wrote a negative review. I recently was contacted by one of the owners, Jason, who wanted to make things right. He offered to re-do the alignment at no charge. In the meantime, I had the correct alignment performed after some steering changes. Jason re-iterated that I would be more than welcome to give Dales another opportunity. Saw the reviews on here and gave them a call regarding the installation of a 2" lift on my 2007 Honda Ridgeline. They were freindly and transparent regarding this type of lift on this type of truck. They installed it and the next day I picked it up. So far I have had no issues and the truck runs great with the lift installed. I have nothing but great things to say about Dale's Alignment. Here is my history: I have a 1993 Dodge 1-Ton Dually. The job at hand was to replace the entire suspension, front and rear leafs, shocks all around and air bags with compressor. Also the drive shaft was removed, sent out for balancing and u-joints replaced. This is it in a nut shell. Prior to the job being done, I booked an appointment to have my truck assessed on what I wanted doing. Darryl was very professional and very thorough. He spent a great number of hours doing research with Skyjacker to ensure that everything was going to be perfect and saying that, he had no guarantee from me at this point that I was going to go through with the job. I decided to have the work done with a few extras and I can honestly say, the work and ride is UNREAL!!!!!! and they provided a courtesesy car as well. I spent a large amount of money and it was well worth it. They were able to answer all my questions / concerns and took the time to ensure I understood and was happy. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was recommended by a friend about Dales about 10 years ago now. I have bought tires through them, alignments done, and brakes when nobody else could figure out the problem. I have always spoken with Darryl. He knows his stuff and makes sure things are done and no shortcuts are taken. He gives you the straight goods. The shop is busy but extremely worth the wait to get what you need done. They stand behind their service and reputation. I know a lot of other shops could learn a few things from these guys. Very Professional and makes you want to go back. I was trying to hunt down a $4.00 part for my brakes on my truck. Went to three places before I went here. The local manufacturer had to order from Toronto and maybe 3 days to arrive. The other one didn't have local stock. The last one I tried was a large chain store, the salesperson said he couldn't even find a part #. (someone needs a new job). I went to talk to Darryl at Dales and asked if he could help me out. Brought my 2008 Escape into Dales auto with the concerns of some brake work needed and also it was time to get a full once over to see what else was needed. From phone call to being met at the door with a member of the team and my loaner car essentially waiting upon arrival ....I was impressed. I’ve waited and contemplated on writing this review for quite some time…..I took my vehicle in approximately 3 months ago for a simple alignment. Bear with me, this is kind of a long and detailed review… So I decided to take my vehicle to Dale’s simply based on the Google Reviews, I had never heard about them before and decided to give them a try, what’s the worst that could happen with an alignment right?! Anyways, the reason for the alignment was due to me having lowered the car on a new coil over suspension setup……fast forward to taking delivery of the car…. The service was done before the time they had quoted me, I’d say in total it took about an hour and 15 minutes. I had left my dashcam plugged in to ensure my vehicle was treated correctly while in the hands of others. So I speak to the reception staff, all of whom were very professional and courteous. Go over my alignment specs and whatnot. Pay the invoice and get back into my car. Turn on my dashcam app and review the footage…it was a shop worker who drove my vehicle from the front of the shop to the rear….no more than a 2 minute drive (and that’s being generous). To my surprise…..the shop worker was absolutely abusing my car from the moment he sat in it! He floored it as soon as he exited the front parking, floored it merging onto the highway, and then took it onto a back road to launch it from a dead stop! I was outraged to say the least. People, when I say “floored it”, I am talking about the RPMS hitting easily 6k and above….I know this because the VTECH power band can be heard in the footage, and I also connected the footage to the App’s software on my laptop that gave me a pretty accurate read on speed and RPMS etc. (the worker hit speeds of over 80km on the back road when he launched it). As if that wasn’t enough, when this idiot of a shop worker decided to take my car to a dead end side street to launch it, which is very narrow and has many cars parked alongside it, he can be heard on footage saying something along the lines of “time to get my money’s worth”, and then proceeds to launch my car to the point of my tires screeching (my car has a manual transmission). So the rest of the footage was fine….vehicle underwent an alignment and was then driven normally after that….. As soon as I reviewed the footage, I went back inside and spoke to the reception guys. One of them came out and listened to the first 30 seconds of the footage (to the point where he merges on the hwy) and then says he’s going to bring the owner over to speak with me. Then the owner comes by, I show him the footage and again after 30 seconds he asks if I am able to send it to him so he can follow-up with his employee. I asked him to wait and actually review the entire clip so that he can see just how bad it really is. So he’s patient and watches the footage with me. And then we have a pretty long discussion about what happened and how to remedy the issue. Eventually we agree that a refund is in order as this treatment of a customer’s vehicle is outrageous (albeit a first time and last time customer). The owner was nice enough to throw in $80 worth of store credit for any future work…..which obviously will never happen. *Response to owner* When I showed you the video in person, and you saw your employee take that left turn onto the dead-end street. Your exact words were "That's weird, I don't know why he would take a left there" I have our whole conversation recorded. Anyways, nor did you mention anything it being route A on that day. Which leads me to believe you are being dishonest/making excuses. Also, on that day you tried to rationalize his behaviour, and you stated that he may have taken a left there because the road is more even and he may have been testing the alignment of the vehicle. Testing the alignment before the vehicle went through the alignment process? Doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

Death wobble!!! I could have died, but the problem has been solved! I have a 1994 f250 ford work truck that I have always kept in good condition except. I was in the interior of bc going about 80 km an hour when I went over a small pump in road when it happened the death wobble. Front of truck started shacking horribly and started to go out of control. Applied brakes person behind just about hit me and I ended on side of road. At 20 km an hour death wobble stopped. Went to a large town found a large tire dealership that did wheel alignments etc. told them what happed and they replaced front brake calibers. I am not a mechanic relay on professional mechanics to service truck. Went back home to Lower mainland area and went to ford dealer ship for oil change, told them what happened and they checked truck during oil change. They replied worn tie rod ends but not so bad that they need replacement. Left ford thinking everything's OK then it happened again. Going down road went over pump, truck started shacking violently, began to loss control, just about hit a person and person behind just about hit me. I decided I had to take control. Went home and started searching on internet, found out what I had was called Death Wobble. Older work truck 350,000 KM could be a view things worn out. "Goggled death wobble Langley" and dales came up. A front end specialist, read his reviews and his web site and thought he knows about death wobble. Toke my truck to Dale's problem has been fixed. I would like to say thanks to dale and all his staff. Great job!!!

Big thanks to the guys at Dale's for getting the alignment on my Silverado back in line today after a another shop messed it up so bad my new tires were showing uneven wear after a few weeks. When the other shop accused me of hitting a pothole, which I didn't, and would charge for a re-alignment I declined and took it to the guys that get it right the first time. I've had almost every vehicle I've owned at Dale's going back to 1990 and it's good to know after all these years they are still top of their game.

I would never go back to this place. In 2012 I bought a Chevy cruze. Purchased a flowmaster exhaust online and called and made an appointment at Dales to get it installed after finding them online. They cut the original near new exhaust into 3 pieces without asking me, rendering it useless to sell. They did not use proper hangers for the new exhaust and didn't even weld it together! Every bump it would seperate every speed bump it would drag. They even charged me almost double the quote to install! When I called them on it They said because it's an aftermarket exhaust they can't warranty their work! What a bunch of BS! They supposedly sell after market stuff themselves, that's why I went there! Never again! Buyer beware i guess! But if you get anything done by them, get it in writing! _______________________________________ Added after: not sure how to reply to the response from the owner below so I'm adding to my original post! 1. You never once showed me installation instructions or told me you would cut the original exhaust! It was a complete surprise to learn that you destroyed it! Also just to be clear I waited in your lobby for the work to.be performed so there was every available opportunity to speak to me about it! 2. You could visibly tell there was an issue with the exhaust after your install. If you cared about the quality of your installation you would have consulted me about it, instead of just blaming the manufacturer and leaving it like that. It could have been dangerous and caused an accident or worse! Not professional at all! 3. I came to you because you are supposed to be pro at this! The signed off work was reasonable. The end price was not! 2 different prices all together and don't say it was for extra parts because you clearly didn't use any! Typical of any business owner not accepting responsabilty for poor workmanship! You can make excuses all you want. Blame your customer. Blame the manufacturer. In the end, you let that car roll out like that! That's what my review is about!

what a waste of time and gas money going to Dales...like the previous negative review they received,,i too parked my car there early 9:15 am for a morning simple stock OE alignment,,,i show up at 3:30 car still hasn't moved,,leaving it till last minute as its a simple one they said.. I was way more patient then the other negative review with the same issue but I do agree that the guys out front don't give a damn (probably son of owner??) I let them know I was upset and to give me back my keys but they made no attempt to say we'll get on it now or anything,,just tossed me back my keys more than happy to be fired. ive brought my car up the street from them to a nice friendly alignment shop and now my cars good to go,,straight as an arrow and it only took them 1 hr. all these positive reviews are obviously posted by the shop owners and or staff,,just read there google name,,its fake and praising Dales rite on the email addy they use.

As a first time customer I took my 05 Lexus ES to Dales to have it lowered because I had learned through the internet that Dales is a suspension specialist. They knew exactly the correct kit for this job and brought it in from the USA. During the process they performed an inspection of my vehicle to find the source of a knocking sound I reported to them and diagnosed the problem as potentially being two worn bushings but they wouldn't know for sure until some of the work got underway. I authorized that additional work and they brought the bushings in from their supplier. When I went to pick up the vehicle they said that once they dug into replace them they discovered they were not worn nor the source of the knocking. They did not install the bushings nor did did they charge me for any of the labour it took to take things apart to the point they could rule them out at the issue. My point is that many shops would have installed those bushings and charged me anyway so in my mind this is a testament to their honesty and that will keep me coming back. By the way they did find the source of the knocking which turned out to be a minor issue related to a mounting bracket which was an easy fix. The task of installing the modest lowering kit on my car turned out great so I am very happy indeed.

I recently had my ford SHO suspension lowered and built with Darryl and the team this past week. They did a great job, Darryl is very passionate about cars and shows it in his customer service. Took my Forester for an alignment to a different shop (won’t say the name) after I replaced both front lower control arms and sway bar links. I was told my driver side ball joint was worn out and needed replacing. So they couldn’t do the alignment. Went to Dales for the alignment and explained to them all that had been replaced. They did the work and found no issues with my driver side ball joint. I asked if there was any issues with any ball joints. I was told no, no issues they look and feel pretty new. Will not be wasting my time with other shops from now on. And if I am asked if I know of a good shop, Dales will be the first place I tell them. Thanks for the great work, and more importantly the honesty.

'Brought my '98 Tahoe 4X4 into Dale's back in February to have new tires mounted & balanced and a four wheel alignment done after having had a new steering box, idler arm, and tie rod ends installed at another shop... They did a great job and I drove away happy but discovered, over time, that the truck wandered a bit at highway speeds. I called Jameson Smith at Dales and booked another appointment to correct this issue and brought the truck back after about 2-1/2 months and several thousand kilometers. Much to my surprise, they re-did my entire alignment and also performed some additional tire service work and handed me a NO CHARGE INVOICE for all the subsequent work that they performed. I tried to pay them but they wouldn't hear of it! This is a first class shop that's run by first class people. If you want to deal with a shop that's experienced, professional and super ethical, this is where you need to go! Thanks, guys; I'll be back!

Emailed Dales Auto regarding my Brakes as they started making those dreaded metal on metal noises. Within 30 minutes I was given a phone call to bring the truck down. Only issue is being around Christmas, I clearly needed a vehicle. No problem, courtesy car was ready when I arrived. When I walked in, energy was good. That always helps when you’re dropping your baby off at the shop. I was given a phone call a day later when I was expecting the truck to be done, saying it wouldn’t be possibledue to problems on another vehicle. They apologized, explained what was going on and I had my truck done the next morning. Wasn’t a big deal when they lend you the courtesy car free of charge. Price came in UNDER what I was estimated so that was a plus! Overall, they were very professional and will go back again if any other work needs doing.

These people will try to over sell you on their products. They quoted me over 2800$ worth of work to fix and align my truck. I did it my self for less than 250$. It's been over 22,000km and the truck still drives straight, never needed an alignment once the 120$ tracking bar was replaced and a 100$ steering brace installed. Steering box still does not leak as they said it would. Didn't need new shocks just the 2 bolts that held them for 10$.

I can't say enough good things about this shop! I have been a vehicle owner for over 10 years, and in that time, have never received such excellent service as I did at Dale's! I recently moved to Vancouver and a friend recommended Dale's as the best place to go to get my car repaired and serviced. I was slightly reluctant at first, given that the shop is located an hour's drive away, but it is SO worth the trip! From the first call to set up my appointment to when I picked up my car, the staff at Dale's were friendly, polite, incredibly knowledgeable and customer focused. They did a thorough job with my vehicle, explained every part of what needed to be repaired, and took the time to patiently answer all my questions. They have excellent rates, arranged a great deal on a rental vehicle and even hunted down a factory rebate on my new set of tires. They also carefully followed the provincial guidelines around COVID-19 precautions in their customer service areas. Additionally, while I was waiting for my rental vehicle to arrive, I had the chance to casually observe the technicians working in the service bays. This was 8am on a Saturday morning, no one's favorite time to be at work, yet everyone in the shop was clearly working as a team and appeared to be genuinely enjoying what they were doing. The bays I could see were clean and meticulously organized. It was obvious that pride was taken in the work they do and I see this in the quality of repair I received in my vehicle. I would recommend Dale's to everyone! If you live in the lower mainland and have a vehicle, this is where you want to go!

I was looking for a new repair shop that knew a lot about lifted Toyota(Lexus) trucks. I’ve gone to a ‘specialty’ shop before and was very disappointed... I’d get my truck back with oil/grit all over my new seats and steering wheel and literally had to beg to have them to look at my concerns. Then I came across Dales Auto.. hidden gem in Langley. Their service was amazing and they use software that sends you pics/videos with estimates straight to your phone. So not only am I impressed with their service and knowledge but they use similar systems to what a Lexus dealer would use… and they have courtesy cars. I’d definitely haul myself out from Vancouver and make the hour trek to use them again. Great work into taking automotive service to the next level.

I've been going to dales for over 10 years for alignments and other work not covered by my factory warranty. Seems like every time I go the customer service, communication and overall experience just keeps getting better. They really pay attention to every detail to make sure the work exceeds my expectations. I find they are far more knowledgable compared to other shops when it comes to aftermarket upgrades. The cost of labour is slightly more but you definitely get what you pay for. I'll continue to use them for all my repairs and upgrades.

I brought in my Mazda to get an alignment done but was told that my left front wheel bearing was shot and I needed it replaced in order to do the alignment. I decided to take my car to the Wolfe Mazda across the street and their techs did an alignment without any issues and took a look at my bearing and told me it was perfectly fine. In the end, Dales charged me to have someone drive my car around the block, and then tried to squeeze more out of me by telling me a bearing was shot. Wouldn't recommend this place.

I recently had a lot of suspension work done at Dale's. I did a lot of research into their business before I went but admit I was still a little apprehensive never having dealt with them before. I was very happy with how they treated me throughout the whole process, they explained everything thoroughly and answered all of my questions and concerns regarding what I needed or didn't need done. Daryl and Eric are standup guy's that I'm comfortable recommending. They treated me with respect and put up with all my stupid questions and when I did have issues they dealt with them right away and made every effort to rectify the problem for me. I brought a lifted vehicle to them and they argued with the specs for the alignment that the lift company issued me. They also tried to tell me I needed a new tie-rod, while mine was brand new and nothing wrong with it. All he has is excuses, calls the company that I got the lift from to get a part, and marks it up 150$ for a $120 part. These guys are scammers and they always tell you that you need something to make your alignment work. They then took my vehicle back to do a free alignment correction (as the first one wasn't to specs and wasn't driveable) and then it drove even worse then when I first brought it there. The vehicle was a death trap. I know two other people that have had negative experience. Go across the street to the other alignment place, they are top notch and cheaper.

Had a few vehicles serviced here good overall experience when dealing with Darryl T. otherwise not that great. Had a rather large rag left in my engine compartment near the serpentine belt. Noticed when I got home brought it to their attention the next didn’t seem to be a big deal to the rep I spoke to which is concerning. I’ve had the diagnostic fee waived if I had the work done there, especially if you are spending a few thousand but sometimes not depends on who you deal with.

This is from a few years ago but I do feel the need to bring this up. I initially brought my MR2 in for an alignment as it was drifting to one side. They definitely talk the talk and I felt comfortable trusting them with my car. When I got it back, it was tracking straight but the steering wheel was about 3-5 degrees off. I brought it back, they apologized and fixed it. It would have been nice for them to fix it right the first time, but whatever, and it would have been fine if that's all it was, but we had them do some work on my dad's car as well and that's when they started bringing up how all these parts were worn, like bearings and such, and how we would need to replace several things and do an alignment or else, and I quote, "it could mean death!" Quite dramatic to be sure, and it was expensive, but we trusted them. When we got my dad's car back, it was tracking badly AND the steering wheel was at least 5 degrees off! They actually introduced new problems! After that, I wised up to what kind of outfit they were and I never went there again.

I ordered a new steering box for my ‘05 2500 Cummins. Jameson was a big help during the order process. The box arrived a day early. My brother inlaw installed it as per the instructions. I had just replaced my rear suspension and took it in for an alignment and they claimed my rear cam bolt for camber was seized, mind you i had just installed it (new) and coated it in anti-seize, not sure if the (rookie) tech didnt know to loosen the nut side first or didnt want to adjust it the way i asked. Car didnt even drive right after (wandered on highway, because front toe was set to zero) and they entered the wrong model number for the car in the computer, probably didnt matter but it shows a lack of attention to detail. ***in response to owner*** You didnt know what you were doing the first time whats going to change now? As the saying goes fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. I wouldnt chance letting your guys touch my car again. ***in response to your condesending updated response*** Yes, i took my car to my friend at mainland ford for an alignment, and even though its not a ford he did a perfect job (as seen on the printout) he got everything the exact same left to right which as we both know isnt easy.

Word pretty much everywhere was that Dales is the absolute best at suspension and alignment and nothing I have seen or experienced while having them work on my car seems to dispute that reputation. Front desk was friendly, informative and accommodating. Execution of the work was pretty much perfect as the car drives phenomenally well. I’m comfortable recommending Dale’s to others because in my experience Dale’s don’t recommend doing unnecessary “maintenance” items designed solely to generate revenues. Never again. HORRENDOUS. They may have had good reviews and great operation years ago but those days are over. From the bad attitude of the front desk, to not keep promises of time finished to over priced work. Stay clear of this place!

This was my first time dealing with Dale's Automotive. I only went there to purchase a Steering box; however, first impressions are everything . Staff were friendly and outgoing; office was very clean and organized with the proper COVID-19 protocols in place; shop was also very clean and organized. Based off my experience dealing with Dale's (Jameson), I will be returning in the near future to have them do a wheel alignment. I would recommend Dale's to anyone, especially those who are meticulous over their vehicles.
