I had bought 1 tire for $50 because I damaged one, I thought it was a great deal so I wanted to get an extra set so when I inquired about a set of 4 I was told the price would be $350. How does that make any sense and for USED TIRES!!?? I feel they just make up prices and are not honest people to be ripping customers off for profit.

I am not entirely sure how this place has any positive reviews. I bought snow tires from them at the start of the season to only realize when taking them off that they installed two different sizes of tires onto my car. What resulted was the destruction of my front control arms. My vehicle now requires $600 + of additional maintenance to make up for the additional wear and tear. The staff were rude when I approached them about this issue and did nothing to resolve it. They tried to deny selling me the tires at all, when I have proof of the e-transfer I sent them. They would not offer any portion of refund or compensation. They offered to replace the incorrect sizes, but then stated they don't have any snow tires at this time. They said I could come back in the fall to retrieve the proper size of tire - I'll believe it when I see it. Don't use this shop. They are unethical and unprofessional. They scam people and run a poor business. Please consider using a more reputable shop. Dial-A-Tire close by caught the error when they put my all seasons on and have been nothing but helpful, honest, and trustworthy.

I bought All Season front tires and less than 3 months my drivers tire was doomed and trying to connect with him was impossible, and when I finally connected he finally returned my phone call. He would not replace my tire all he said is I will give you free installation I told him seriously you sold me a tire that isn’t good. Oh well is all he can say I do not recommend this business at all. I see why his reviews are what they are so no I will not go back to Empire I will take my business elsewhere.

Fast, cheap, professional and the tire seems to be holding up just fine. Can't complain! Edit: so, after 4 months and MAYBE 5,000km the tire is losing air from a crack in the side wall. This guy deals in cash only, no receipts, no return policy and no product guarantee what-so-ever. I'll be going elsewhere to replace his garbage used tire.

Replied to a add “4 Dunlop winter tires” all of a sudden there are two and two different. Asked can I pay visa ? And then followed that text by saying I wanted to leave my area by 2 to make it down before they closed, the owner wrote back “ok no problem”. Arrived to this “business” to find out cash only. Brought the tires back 2 hours to home to find out one had a 1inch slit in side wall and would not hold air. Tried to reason with the owner who claimed he will not refund the tire. Absolute terrible service, sketchy back ally shop that will be shut down by the CRA. DO NOT GO HERE.

I’ll admit I was a little thrown off by having to drive down a back alley and around a corner to get there - especially since I had my small son with me. But Yaser was nice enough, showed me the tires, and had us sit while he brought the car in and got the tires changed. The only thing I wish is that there were bags to put the other set in, as most places have. But otherwise a decent experience.

The guy was asking over price than usual or advertized price. For a tire size 245/55/19 he said straight, oh, this is rare, I can not go less than this amount. I did not like the way he calculated the price based on dire need of a customer. That was not a good sign for used tire business. I do not recommend this location.

Last week I purchased 4 winter tires for my sister's car. The owner let me pick out the 4 tires myself. They tires were almost brand new. They mounted/balanced and installed in .5 of an hour. Great service and I would recommend these guys to anyone. The reason why I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that they are clearly not mechanics that know about wheel torque specs and they hammer on the lug nuts at maximum ft lb, yes the wheel won't come loose while driving however they risk pulling a bearing, spreading the holes of the rims, and if there needs to be a roadside change there is no way to losen the lug nuts with out an impact gun. I recommend going here, but make sure you tell them to torque the wheels to proper spec, 80-105 ft lbs instead of full 325-500 ft lbs that their impact gun hammers at.

Went to Tire Empire after seeing some good reviews online to get used tires for our 2000 BMW. My husband and I figured this would be our last winter driving this car and decided to go the cheap route and buy used and paid $75 per tire. Perfect! We pick the car up, bring it home. The next morning the front passenger tire is completely flat and another is low! My husband puts our spare on the front passenger side and we arrange to get a new tire, from a different company. Meanwhile we are messaging Tire Empire and asking what the deal is, they say the problem it isn't the tires, maybe implying that we must have hit something...? After taking the car to a different company to swap out 2 tires, the person changing our tires explains that there are cracks in the tires we were sold and that they are 9 years old. A tire's lifespan is around 6 years, after that rubber starts to degrade. After a bit of back and forth Tire Empire agreed to e-transfer us $75 back for one tire. WE NEVER RECEIVED THE $75. Long story short they made a quick $300 for expired tires. Bad business.

Excellent guys. Service was quick and great, especially with the walk-in service during one of the busiest time of the year. Offered me a set of Pirelli's PZero Nero (Front: 225/40R18 & Rear: 255/35R18) 50-60% tread life for $350 + 80$ installation fee. I couldn't give the last star to make it 5 stars because they overinflated and underinflated a few tires, which if left unchecked, would have deteriorated the tires 3-4x faster. Under cool conditions; Front tires were inflated to 31PSI and 38PSI Rear tires were inflated to 33PSI and 35PSI I checked with two seperate callibrated pressure guages. Luckily I was able to easily adjust the pressure myself. Asides from the overinflated/underinflated pressures, I would come back. Easily. Thanks for the good work!

Very unprofessional. Horrible customer service. The guy asked me if I wanted the white lettering of my newly purchased tires facing out or in. I said facing out. I returned 40 minutes later and they installed the tires with the white lettering facing inward. I asked the owner about this and he told me I didn't say to have them facing out. I told him otherwise. It was a silly detail that he missed and he would not apologize. Instead, he got angry and said he wouldn't change it and maintained that I didn't want the lettering facing outward. I expect to be treated with respect. Next time, don't get angry at those who pay your wage. Good luck being an entrepreneur with a successful business, pal. ___ Update: Upon further investigation, the guy he had working for him cross-threaded two of the lug nuts on the rear rims. Meaning that a) the rims have not been secured properly for the last 600km and, and b) I have to pay to get those replaced. Poor, poor service.

Asked for a specific size he didn't have. Then he suddenly found it. First I find out one of the tires has a nail through it. He doesn't replace it, he plugs it. Then I get home to find out he purposely put the wrong size on and said he put the right size. Never going there again. Total crook and shirty tires.

Place is a joke. Drove 2 hours to get 4 tires that are in good condition with "70%" tread left. Get there too find they are too the wear bars, weather cracked like crazy and one tire has a nail in it. Wouldn't recommend them. Place is such a rip off.

If you don't care about your family and want to buy unsafe, junk tires, then go here! All he sells is used tires that other shops and dealerships throw out because they are unsafe for the road. Also make sure to check the DOT manufacturer date code as some are very old.

Amazing Service! I went there, and he was very fast. I had a toddler who didn't sit still very well and it didn't phase him. I ended up having a flat tire the next day, and he came to my house, put a spare on, then drove back to the shop to fix it. When he couldn't find what happened, he replaced the tire!!! I've never had such good customer service before and I will be going back

Not so good experience with this shop. Paid 40$ for rusted old nuts/lugs. I have repeatedly asked before anything more can be charged beyond rims+installation with no response. At last moment during change, its sort of not so good to hear sudden 40$ jump and than too with almost old rusted kind nuts/lugs.. Jumped price by 20$ for installation but that as I have shared cost of email, he got convinced for original price.. Overall its not a tension free place to get tires changed.. I am new to Canada so can't compare but surely won't like someone to ask 40$ thing in middle of change when they could have told beforehand when we I was repeatedly asking anything more than 210$ for old rims+installation.. I will next time prefer some standard shops or costco which i missed as no slots available. Apart from lug, the rim and installation were good for my case. May be owner is too busy etc i don't know but simple response of my query would have helped me to take better decision,.

In other words, they have no problem with sending you and your families to adventures of death. Finally 3 ½ hours later, they called me back-after I had other plans made for the day.. Nothing special for speedy customer service IMO.

Prices are good but the tires are garbage. I had an appointment with the owner and had to call him after waiting there 15 minutes. He said he was just down the street getting coffee and would be right there. after 45 minutes he shows up with a mug of coffee and clearly just came from home. The tires I came to get were advertised as almost new with 70% tread. Two of the tires were almost bald and they had large cracks all through the treads and his shop is so dark you can't tell until you get them home and into the light. I went back after seeing the condition of the tires and finding a nail in 1 tire and he said 2 of the tires still had 70% tread so he didn't see how it was his problem as I agreed on the price.

Prices r good but service sucked and driveway was full of snow and couldn't get in or out without being helped. 3 cars had to be pushed out of his driveway by customers well he stood around most the time and when a customer grabbed a shovel to start clearing the path he stood there holding it well they pushed the cars out instead of clearing a path to get us out.

Buyer beware . I purchased 4 tires from this guy . And two days later the sidewall blew out of one and I found a cut in another one , looks like it was done during installation . He would not replace either tire nor would he refund me the cost of the two tires .I had to go to another shop and purchase tires .For what I've spent I could have got four new tires !! Lesson learned !!!!

Bought set 18 inch tires 2 months ago noticed a few crackes before tire were installed he said they will be good for years haha ya ok did a oil change today and there's cracks like 10 inches long by like 3mm wide tires are garbage went to him and he says he can't do anything acting like a smart ass stealing all ur money giving u garbage tires u wouldn't even kno until there filled with air and on the car with weight garbage garbage garbage told me what do I expect I expected them to last for years like he said he's a lier I even paid $360 installed lol well I put them on the car my self cuz he was taking to long pathetic place spend the extra couple buck and buy new or somewhere else couldn't believe my eyes when I looked at them today gotta go on a trip next weekend now I'm screwed and have to get tires DONT GO HERE!!!

After I saw the reviews I was hesitated to go there, but I went anyway since he is the only shop who got my size in town, and I was surprise why people in the previous reviews disappointed!!. I guess people write reviews only when they have something to complained about. The owner was very nice and professional seem knows what he is doing. The service was fast. They installed and balanced 4 tires in like half an hour. Also they have big selection of tires, they have grade A used tires, and grade B-C. It's depends how much u wanna spend I had the tires now for 5 days and I am very satisfy with quality and the price.

Went to purchase winter tires that were advertised at 90% tread. It was dark out, dark in the shop, he said cash only for the sale and that he didnt have time to mount them even though we spoke earlier about it. I got the tires home and looked them over. The tires were going on 8 years old (manufacturer recommends tires are at the end of their life around 7 years) and at best had 75% tread. I tried to return the tires as they were not as advertised and did not want my spouse to be driving on tires this old. He said he did not do refunds. We got into an argument about the situation and how unprofessional and uncooperative he was being. His solution was for me to sell the tires on my own and that it was not his problem. Finally he put a set of newer tires on although a lesser brand, no refund or correction of price. Upon installation one of the rims would not fit my car, although he replaced the rim, that is unacceptable in the first place. I would not recommend them to anyone, if anything id report them.

I’d say away. Bought a used OEM wheels from here. He saw my car and specifically told me these wheels would fit my car. They didn’t. I asked him if we take them back and offered to pay him a fee and he refused, even though he directly saw my car and said these would fit. I feel scammed
