Bought tires from these guys less than a year ago, one started peeling off the wires, womt warranty without sending away and to make a nad situation worse they cant get the same tires i bought so now because my car is all wheel drive im being forced into buying two tires like then 8,000km somce purchase... od recomend not wasting your time here. When i asked about them helping out pm the cost since none of this info was divulged at time pf purchase and they said no. Your better pff going to the cheap tires or marketplace than these fools.

I was not very happy with the service. I was passing through Regina when my brakes failed. I had a hard brake pedal that i couldnt depress. I took my vehicle to OK Tire. They said they needed to do an inspection and it would could cost up to $250. I told the guy at the desk that i only wanted the brakes looked at and i didnt want a full inspection. He said okay that is fine. I left my vehicle there over night and had a family member pick it up because had to travel back to Winnipeg. The next day they call and say i have water in my brake fluid so the brake lines are frozen. They charge me the full amount for the inspection and an extra $250 to change the brake fluid. Since i had a family member picking up my vehicle i couldn't really do much about it. However two weeks later the same thing happens again. The brake pedal is hard and can not be depressed. Im not very happy with the service, the price i paid and the fact that my vehicle is still dealing with the same issues.

Not entirely Impressed, Bought a second hand vehicle back in March 2017 and brought it here to get a check over told it had rust but other than that the engine overall was in Great condition... 4 months later Battery light comes on and turn out alternator is starting to die... So with that and along with getting work done for a much cheaper place at a "Ma & Pa" s leads me to a rating of 1 star.

I was told when I first called to come in at any time to change out my summer tires for winter tires and was going to buy winter tires from them. I called the same day I was told to come in and asked when a good time would be. Again they said anytime so I said I would come for 11:30. Waited two hours and my car wasn't even in yet. Called Canadian tire and got in within half an hour.

I have been using OK Tire since I was posted to Petawawa in 2008, and there is no other business that I trust more! I am not a mechanic, but I have done a lot of work on my own cars, and I am very knowledgeable in all areas of the vehicles I have owned. I have gotten a plethora of maintenance issues checked and repaired at OK tire, and not once have I felt it necessary to question anything they have done, or suggested needs to be done. The staff at OK Tire have always been friendly, helpful, flexible and very honest with me, and every other customer I have seen them assist while I waited. They have helped me get great prices for services they do not offer, and have suggested trusted businesses I could contact for other automotive questions and services. OH, and they are one of the few, if not the only, automotive center in the area (that I know of) that will do a Canex plan for us Military members!! Thank you so much Rob and Sylvie, you are awesome!

I contacted O.K Tire last minute last week to try and beat the impending winter tire rush. Clayton, the Owner, was prompt in emailing me a quote and was patient with my indecision on how many and what type of tires to get. He was able to squeeze me in for an appointment today, even though it was extremely busy. His staff were kind and courteous when dealing with my concerns, and made sure I got back to the office in time without hesitation. I had checked out several other tire shops before landing on O.K. Tire, and the reason I went with them was because of the level of service I received. I would recommend them to anyone looking for an honest experience any day.

Words cannot express how grateful I am to have found this place! I came here last minute after another tire place which won't be named (cough Kal-Tire cough) couldn't find the winter tires I ordered over a week prior and left me stranded at home on a freezing New Years Eve. I called dozens of tires places just hours before everyone shut down for the holiday, and got nowhere (as I expected). Call it a New Years miracle, but my winter tire worries suddenly lifted when I called OK Tire at 1147 Barmac, and spoke with the technician. He told me he had a couple options that could work, and didn't mind sending his guys to pick them up from his warehouse across town. Better yet, he could have them installed for me within an hour! I made my call at 10:00am, arrived at 11:00, and was rolling out on a brand new set of Nokians at 12:00 for a fraction of the cost that Kal-Tire wanted. This place truly sets the bar for honest, reliable, and friendly service. Thanks to OK Tire at Barmac Drive, my New Years plans don't need to be cancelled, and my winter driving worries are now a thing of the past. Best tire service in the GTA, without a doubt!

OK Tire (Park Street) was responsive and professional when I needed some urgent work done to my car. They took the time to explain the results of their inspection/diagnostics and outline, through a very detailed report, what was needed immediately and what could be deferred for another visit. They exceeded my expectations, resolved a persistent issue with my car, and earned my business for subsequent service requirements. I have since purchased a new set of tires and a full roadside assistance warranty from them. Highly recommended! UPDATE (July 2, 2019): I can't say enough about this OK Tire location. They will go above and beyond expectation to make sure you understand what is happening with your car, give you a ride if you need one, pick you up if you need a ride when your car is ready, and send reminders about service recommendations proactively. They have service my whole family's autos and several friends too... everyone has had such positive experiences. Getting cars serviced can be an annoying, expensive experience but OK Tire makes sure you understand what and why not just the how much. Highly recommended. UPDATE2 (November 7, 2019): I'm not sure what more I can say but to reiterate just how helpful Vicki is when explaining not only the costs of the service performed but also how and why those services were performed. I fully trust Vicki and everyone at OK Tire to treat my family and friends with the highest levels of professional courtesy. Highly recommended.

Had tires installed, mechanic left the stickers on the tires, (because they're too difficult to remove) and then didn't reinstall the lock nuts that were on originally (because what if you lose the key tool?). I worked in auto for 3 years and never had difficulty removing a sticker, and the lock nuts are on for a reason, use them or ask the owner if they want them off. Which leads me to believe what else do they just rather not do? and then not bother mentioning. All in all just lazy workmanship.

The ok tire location at 72nd and Scott road did a terrible job balancing them. Avoid this place and take the extra time to commute to Langley OK Tire. Zero vibration now. Good tire shop. Nice fast service. Unfortunately the Tire they worked on had a custom valve cap and they didn't return it, so now I have a set of 3 only. I would recommend them for service, but would recommend that you hold onto your valve caps to make sure they don't misplace them. I would also recommend to them that they should be more careful in the future with custom valve caps.

I went there with weird tire noise and came out with the very same noise with a piece of paper showing a bunch of green numbers no issues with alignment after getting alignment check($106.65) done. I was advised they couldn't tell me how bad it was before adjustment?? was done due to their weird computer system. Well, no advice regarding the very issue. Their staff was nice though.

Took our car there to remove a nail in tire after I noticed it while filling it with air. They said they’d have me and family back on the road in 1hr. 2hrs later we were still sitting there and when I asked how much longer they snapped it was “first come first serve!!.” Apparently it’s impossible to estimate time in a tire shop. By the time the guy came to move my vehicle the tire was COMPLETELY FLAT, and he drove it into the yard like that (potentially damaging the tire). When I raised concerns the lady said he put air in it first. I asked my wife who was with the vehicle if he did, she said he did not. Terrible service, rude & dishonest staff. Take your car and $ somewhere else.

I hate leaving reviews like this, but felt obligated to share my experience. My mom recently brought her RAV4 in for tires and a safety. Everything seemed fine until they called back the next day to give her the bad news. The front brakes needed to be done (insert eye roll). Okay, sure. I tell her to pick up the RAV4 because I can do them for her. I think they were surprised that her son (me) was willing to do the work. I buy ceramic coated rotors and ceramic brake pads at Benson's for a good price. $195.68 tax in, so I go to put them on. Only problem is that the front brakes do NOT need to be changed. My mom was in disbelief, so I pulled the brake pads off and compared thickness with the brand new ones. There was virtually no difference. Rotors had no pitting in them either, so I explained it was wasteful to change them out. We ended up returning the rotors and pads, and went to pick up our vehicle. The next day a gentleman named Rob called my mom to say that WE asked for the front brakes to be changed... It was clear that was caught in a lie because "our mechanics don't lie" well then they shouldn't be working on vehicles if they're incompetent. I find it absolutely disgusting treating customers, especially women - this way. They lost the business of getting our tires installed. It also needed a rebar support for the front end. Which we would have ultimately done to pass safety. It's a shame they lost our trust, and ultimately our business because they tried to reach for extra work that didn't need to be done. Hopefully this will be a lesson learned. Shame.

I took my car for an inspection and was told I needed a ball joint and another part but i forget what it was called . i took it to a private garage because Subaru and Speedy both tried to take advantage of me anther time soi really dont trust a lot of these repair shops . i am a senior woman and we get cheated often . These guys are the best. Hands down the best customer service and most friendly atmosphere you'll encounter whether its something routine or emergency. I won't go anywhere else! Nail in my tire was my first experience at OK Tire ..(turned out to be a screw but still) I was in and out in 30mins and had 3 children with me ages 6yrs, 4yrs, and 6mo. The staff were great and there is a tv, chairs, and candy machines in the waiting room which helped occupy the children. Had called another place and they said to put aside 2 hours?! Lol next to impossible for any person with 3 littles. Next emergency I was losing coolant but didn't know where it was going.. No leaks underneath. Had reservations at a cottage in Muskoka already and as if that isn't expensive enough, these guys didn't mess around. I called Monday morning and was told sure we can take a look today! May not be able to fix it today but can take a look, talk prices and we'll get in touch! I had my car towed there (without me and my 3 littles which was equally convenient), had a diagnosis and price within 2 hours. It wasn't the head gasket I was dreading $$$$ thank goodness! I had my vehicle back by 2:30pm same day, and a complimentary quote on my brakes which I knew were next! Honest, reliable, efficient, and I can't say enough about the friendliness .. I don't know a lot about cars and always fear being ripped off or taken advantage of. Not with OK Tire! They are seriously more than OK in my books!! We just got back from our Muskoka vacation with zero issues and I owe it to the awesome people at OK Tire! ???????? Definitely recommend!

Avoid at all costs. I had a provincial check done on my car at Ben's OK Tire. They told me the only problem was the wheel bearings needed tightening. I thought, hey! I guess my 10 year old car is doing pretty well! Two months later, my car dies on the side of the road and so into the shop it goes. At this point I'm living in Red Deer so I do some research and bring it to a respectable place this time. Turns out my valve cover gasket has been leaking oil for the past SIX MONTHS. It has ruined my timing belt, water pump, spark plugs, etc. Also the coolant has leaked all over my thermostat housing. I called OK Tire to see if there was anything they could do for me since they obviously missed these two leaks. They said that since they're paperwork stated there was no leaks at the time of inspection (not accurate) they would not help me out. I had a bad feeling about this place since the moment I walked it. This confirmed it. They took advantage of a young girl who needed an inspection to get registration in Alberta and did a half assed job inspecting to the point where my car was un-drivable costing $2000 only two months later.

Very nice, clean shop with friendly knowledgeable staff. I do have a complaint that they did a partial wheel alignment on my car without calling me first to say that a full wheel alignment couldn't be done and ask if they should continue, and one strut had leaked out and I'd have to get alignment done anyways. I took it to another place for the second wheel alignment and they had a much longer list of everything wrong that prevented a proper alignment from being done that this oktire didn't say anything about. I'm in school and unable to work and this just put me out

I just wanted to Thank OK Tire for all their help. We had some issues with a tire while I was on vacation last week. I will save you the details, but as it turned out I needed 4 new tires on my van, they were able to order in the tires from Calgary, the same morning they were ordered and the people had them installed and my van ready to go by 1:45. A whole 2 hours earlier than they quoted me. All in all I spoke to them at 8:00 am and was ready to go that same afternoon. I took my car to OK Tire Canmore for a wheel alignment, and was told that I needed a new set of tires before the work could be done. I was quoted for tires there, but found a better option elsewhere. After the new tires were installed, I again called OK Tire Canmore to book a wheel alignment. I was quoted a fixed price of $159 + tax ("no additional charges"). It turned out that the alignment could not be completed because the rear control arm needed to be replaced. Since the part was not in stock, I agreed on the phone to have the work completed the following week, to the tune of $499, including alignment. When I picked up the car and scheduled the work for the following week, I was charged a diagnostic service fee. I questioned it, and was told by Lauren, the manager, that the mechanic had to take a paycheque home for that day's work. Interesting answer. I asked if that charge could be credited when the work was completed the following week, and was told "no". The possibility of needing an extra diagnostic to proceed with the alignment was never mentioned. These were the "hidden" fees that I was trying to avoid in my original phone calls. The "firm" price we were told on the phone was the reason we took our business there. I ended up calling and booking an alignment and part replacement at another OK Tire shop in Calgary. Their wheel alignment was only $120 + tax, and they were able to order the part and do the work with better timelines. In the end, their assessment showed that there was no problem with the rear control arm and they proceeded with only the alignment. I always try to support local businesses, but I do expect some support from them as well. OK Tire Canmore lost our trust with their dishonesty. That nominal fee originally cost them the larger job in this case, but it turns out their assessment was also dishonest. Needless to say, I would never recommend this business. However, my experience with OK Tire in Calgary (148 Crowfoot Gate NW) was well worth the drive.

My power steering failed one morning just before heading off to work. I popped the hood to watch a stream of fluid arc out the side of a hose and onto the ground. I called around for a couple quotes, and OK was competitive, plus they had just fixed the brakes a few months prior, and I was happy dealing with them again. From the moment I arrived I was impressed. The shop was clean and well kept. The greeter was professional and friendly. The owner was professional and friendly as well and showed courtesy to his employees and customers. They had a young lad working there on co-op I think, and he was also very nice and seemed happy to be working there. If I need anything tire related I go to OK Tire on Fell Ave. I've bought both my new summer tires here and winter tires plus rims here. Both sets are Continental tires. My summer are ExtremeContact DW and the winter are ExtremeWinterContact. The winter tires combined with my Audi's AWD means I can concur the snow on those ski trips in the interior. The staff at OK Tire know what they are talking about and their recommendations haven't let me or my friends down.

We traveled into Canmore and in the morning we were about to leave to our next destination when we saw we had a flat. We called a few places and were recommended to come here. Canadian Tire could take us at 11 am but it was 8:14 am, so we called here and they said it would fixed in1.5-2 hrs so that would have us finished at 11. So naturally we wanted to get it done sooner.So we drove here. They only took in our car at 11:15am and said it would be 20 more minutes. we came back in 20 mins and they had the wrong tire off and so we asked why and the guy was like oh I didn't know and then checked the paper and was like whhoops. So 3.15 hrs later we finally have our car. And now missed our hike . Should of went to Canadian Tire. I do recommend the summit cafe if you're stuck waiting like us. I gave them 1 extra star because it was cheaper then expected.

TIRE PLACE DIDN'T EVEN CHECK THE TIRE PRESSURES :-( I used OK Tire Canmore to do a pre-purchase inspection on a car that was located in Canmore in November 2020. I SPECIFICALLY asked to look at an oil leak in an area that is expensive to repair showed up in the paperwork provided by the seller (who was willing to negotiate on price if it was an issue). After the inspection OK Tire told me it was not in fact leaking. I asked to speak to the mechanic and and was told that the source of the leak was not where we thought it was and I would not be able to speak directly to the mechanic. I proceeded to purchase the car based on this information and when I brought the car to my local mechanic I was told that the area the OK Tire mechanic said was OK WAS in fact leaking. I immediately sent OK tire an e-mail with pictures from my local mechanic. It took 4 weeks to get a response, possibly due to the fact that I contact OK Tire head office after 2 weeks. In December. I was told by LAUREN that they might have made a mistake, would be looking into it and would get back to me. She did say they were busy and going into the holidays it might be a while. Well 4 months later and NOT response or attempt to contact me has been made. Other issues/Summary 1) Required the car for the entire day for a 1 hour inspection. 2) They didn't even check the tire pressures. All 4 tires were at the same 27 psi (vs. 32-25 psi) a week after their inspection. When I mentioned this I was told that it was possible they lost pressure in the week since the inspection (all of them identical). 3) Unresponsive when an issues comes up. When I finally talk to them, they tell me they will get back to me and do not

Droped my car for an oil change. When I picked it up the battery was empty, so I could not start it- no lights were left on and batery is new so not sure what happended there. Worst, the driver door had a big dent and is now not opening properly/grinding - they refered me to a car repair store and after I got the quote they refused to cover the price of the repairs since they said "it probably happened on the street" as they dont have a parking lot to keep the vehicle. They claimed this is what my insurance are for unfortunatly - in fact that should have been falling under theirs as they drove my car on that street after the service. Steel rims i bought there for my winter tires (which were "test fitted on the car" before I took them home this summer, could not be installed on the car when the snow came down without proper "steel wheel lug bolts". So it was a headache trying to get them changed, I planned to make it simple to change at home but it became a hassle when the time came. So the job was done OK, but not good.

Had an unfortunate experience with new replacement tires - mechanics forgot to put end caps on a couple bolts after completion, knocked off several of the balancers (on inside of rims) and I assume they didn't balance the new tires, at all (even though it was included in the cost), as the dealership that I took it to after for full service stated that they have never seen tires as off-balance as mine, ever. It was a hot mess.

In the 8 years that I have been using them they have always offered me excellent mechanical services at a fair price and they have also gone the extra mile for me plenty of times. They have come out to pick me up when I have been stranded way up the mountains with a flat tire and fixed it free of charge and have lent me the courtesy car many times when my own was failing. I visited OK tire on Kempt road on June 22nd to swap into my new all seasons. I am a mini driver, so when I dropped off my car in the morning I was sure to show the advisor how to take apart the fob and reveal the key (used on the glove box). I had originally intended to store my winters at their location. 2 hours after drop off I received a call saying the company could not find my tire lock. I tried to explain to them that I had been a client for a few years, and their company had placed the lock in a highlighter yellow bag at my previous visit. After offering so solution, and assuring me that all areas of my vehicle had been searched, advisor J said I would have to take my car to mini, as only the dealership could change my tires... I was forced to leave work to come retrieve my car. Upon arrival, I checked the glove box of my car, and right on top of my registration was the highlighter yellow bag. No one had even opened up the glove box. When I inquired why, the technician said he did not know how to open the glove box/fob key. His advisor colleague did not relay the message, and she had even assured me that the glove box had been checked & had no tire lock. When I went into the storefront to assure the advisors that the key had been found, I was told "ok!". Zero apology for any of what was entirely their miscommunication, causing me to leave work. I phoned back about 30 minutes later, deciding I'd prefer not to store my winter tires at OK. After I thanked the advisor following my request change, she did not say thank you or good bye, and she abruptly hung up. I later received a random text from an unknown number a few hours later saying, "car ready for pick up". This number was completely unrelated to the previous number that had sent me ok tire texts. When I arrived to pick up the car, the advisor did acknowledge their mis-step, and offered me 25$ off my service (which does not even bring OK tires prices to being comparable to other service providers). I must acknowledge that this advisor listened genuinely as I calmly relayed my grievances. Fast forward to today (48 hours later), a quality check provider left me a voicemail. When I called the same number back, I was told there was no direct line to contact the manager/individual performing the QC. The advisor said she could take note of my feedback herself (please note this was the same advisor I spoke to on the phone 2 days prior). I told the advisor I would skip on the feedback as I could not ensure it would be relayed. Hence, I am posting my experience here. I will only avoid OK and advise friends to do the same. The fact that I paid a premium to receive this service, and then have feedback disregarded was unfortunate. I highly recommend Coast Tires, 3 mins down the road. They are far more professional, and offered outstanding service at a far superior rate. They were polite, and greeted me with a warm smile. I dropped off my tires with coast right after leaving OK tire. I hope this experience gets relayed to management, who can address a serious issue on their front end.

Stupendous service! They answered my call and was able to get an appointment to get my tires checked out same day. Invited me into the shop to check out the diagnosis which was awesome, that way I knew what I was really getting charged for. All the employees had smiles on their faces so the shop has a pretty good morale. There is Wi-Fi offered free, coffee and tea while you wait and even a kids little area with coloring books and toys. Called a couple of places around town for quotes on some wheel service and heard some pretty scary prices. Called OK Tire and was shocked with how reasonable their services are. Took my wheels down and excellent work was done, nearly right away and at a very reasonable expense. I'd highly recommend them... unless your expectations just can't be met, then I'm sure you'll complain no matter where you go... as some of the other reviews seem to divulge about the people that left them. Paid them to service my rear brakes. Had a mechanic friend check them out a month later because they were squeaking and found out the service was never done. Owner got pissed off with me when I questioned their business practices because "they had to make a profit." I'm never going here again. The military discount is useless if they are going to overcharge for bullshit work and poor integrity. Stay away from Ok tire if you love your car and your wallet.

I booked my car in for a Wheel balance which went well, however the next day i was driving slow down a hill and happen to hear a metallic sound, i pulled over right away to look around to find a brand new balance weight sitting on the road. The cars shudder was then apparent on the highway so i called in and the wheels were re-balanced right away at no charge. 2 days later after driving to towards our new home town (2.5 hours of driving) the shudder come back so i pulled over to find no balance weights on the rear wheels and only 1 or 2 weights left on each front wheel. Once we arrived in our new hometown there was only 1 remaining on the front right. I sent in a email with my story with supporting pictures hoping to have the matter resolved as the job was only done 2 day prior, but i never received a reply.

I had a flat tire and found one of the lug nuts was stripped so I couldn't take it off to put on the spare. On a Saturday morning, I was able to roll into the shop having filled the tire with a can of tire sealant. It was quickly fixed and was soon back on the road.
