Recently when I had an issue with my interior lights, I popped by Mr. Lube and the General Manager took time to help me sort issue and was happy to help.

I changed to winter tires today and also did an oil change. Called before my visit to ask the cost and was told $45 for the winter tires change (on rims). They charged me $60 in the end. When I asked why, I was told that whoever talked to me on the phone must have misunderstood. They also kept suggesting extra services but I kept saying I don't need them. The service was slow to say the least, I was there before 10:30 am and left just after 2:15 pm, all this time waiting inside my car. There were like 6 cars in front of me when I got there. I don't think that I will ever be back. Expensive, not a value for money.

I’ve been there a couple of times. I have to say some are professional about their work and they do good work. I had my car battery changed in this location and the guy(nice guy, total pro) who worked on my car then said that I could have my battery changed again for free up until 2 years. So fast forward to a few months when my battery was running low I went again for the service. At that time I just had an awefully insulting experience when a man wearing the manager jacket was servicing my car. He insinuated something rude and talked to one of his colleagues as if I wasn’t there. He also insinuated that he was doing me a favor because he’s changing my battery for free. He even said that he won’t be doing it again next I come for that service. I mean shouldn’t he be doing that? Afterall, my battery was still under warranty. Wouldn’t it be practical to get a free battery replacement than paying for one at a different shop? I’m not sure if he’s the manager of that location but his professionalism could sure use some work. Just FYI, not a reflection of the whole team.

What used to be a great and quick service is now a dragged out occasion. Oil changes should take no more than 30min. I find myself now waiting in line for over an hour while I watch the techs swap tires both on rim and loose. I am sure this is most profitable for the owner of these franchises, but this now has changed my Outlook on time spent vs money. You want a quick stop tire change place for people to go, open up a new facility - start a referral program with the Midas next door. You've now turned my convient oil change into something I could of done quicker in my drive way - which would include a trip to the store to purchase my oil filter. I actually was hoping to do a bit more today with a diff fluid change, but I'm not sure if I'll have enough time set aside to do so. Nevermind. I'm just leaving (writing this from my spot behind the doors). Do one thing great. Don't do more things mediocre.

Mr libe is not good its very expensive then showroom. Super lube is way better than mr lube they have good service and reasonable price for oil change almost 40% less then Mr. Lube. I will give 0.5 star out of 5 to Mr lube.

I came here just for an oil change, when I arrived they told me that more things were wrong and had to be changed (up selling ), after 2 days my engine soon light is on and my transmission is ruined, because they did the job wrong, think two times before visiting mr lub, i learned my lesson.

Had a very unexpectedly pleasant oil change there this morning. They noticed the winter tire rotation was on the wrong way, so that got fixed in not time, including replacing a few missing/damaged lug nuts with brand new ones. They could just have not said anything and ignored it, but I definitely appreciated the extra attention to detail. A1 service.

My wife went there to get an oil change and they lied to her and told her that her transmission needed to be serviced. Now the car won't shift out of park. These con men should not be allowed to do this to people and then accepted no responsibility. We are still waiting to hear back from them. People please do yourself a favor and never go there and always assume that when an oil change worker says that you need something else besides an oil change that they are trying to trick you for more money

Well its a busy time of the year and everybody's time, service is important to each other, specially when i was there to change my tires with my 4 year old kid in the car waited there for an hour, there were three lines going in..but no where it mentioned this line is for oil change or this line is for tire change and so on..but for sure there was an old lady going close to the other cars and talking to them but never came to us.. and by the time it was our turn they said that it was the wrong line i am in, and the lady who was guiding all the cars outside who never showed up to us came in to us and said sorry we have to come back behind all the other cars because i never saw you on line! maybe you guys snugged in somehow and so on... how can we possibly snug in between the cars of lineup? she was so rude and i got so mad because that day i came twice there becuase they were busy and spent my half of my a weekend and walked out so disappointed. well i like the guys who work there, they are very good in their service and professional but why would they bring this lady to ruin their bussiness! Seriously she lacks customer service. She spoke so rude and said ya go away and see yaa in a sarcastic way...will not recommend this kind of service to anybody in future.

Don’t go here. All these guys do is try to upsell on things your car doesn’t even need. I decided to get a coolant flush because they talked me into it, and even reduced the price to convince me to go through with it. Persuaded me into believing my coolant was dirty. I finally decided to go through with it because I thought I was doing good for my car. After getting home, I downloaded my owners manual, which stated I don’t need coolant changed for another 60,000km! I’ll never make that mistake again, and never go there. Before they upsell you on anything, read your owners manual first!

Someone came out when I arrived and handed me a paper and said it was 15-20 minute wait. when the car in front of me got into the bay at 30-35 minutes, a serviceman came out and forced move my car up another 10 inches because he did not like where it was. So after 40 minutes I left without an oil change...

I have been there 3 times, staffs are quick and polite. You feel good going there. It is a good place to change oil with no appointment. The thing I do not like about here is that they always come up with something about your car to repair or change it. It is like they have few lines that they try on you to make you pay for some cleaning or filter change or ..... the last time the person said your cabin air filter is dirty, I said you changed it last time! he did not see that coming: oommm it looks dirty! I looked at it it was not that bad so I did not go for it. The other staff came: the oil filter is dirty and better to change it. I refused, then later: there is some moisture on oil cap, better to do extra cleaning, I refused. I think they will always come up with some thing to do extra service and charge you for that. That is my impression.

I will NEVER come back here again!! Completely ripped me off. As a woman that doesn't know much about cars, I believe they used me and took advantage of the situation. I had a leak in my tire and the General Manager, Mike, sold me a sensor - which I didn't need. Took out the metal sensor and replaced it with a plastic one. The issue was actually my rim had a dent and that's where the leak was coming from. After going to the dealership, Acura, they told me that the sensor was not at all the issue and didn't need to be replaced. Mike refused to give me my money back. Do yourself a favour and find a reliable and honest place to go to especially if you are like me and don't know much about cars. It's sad that ppl will do this especially around Christmas time.

WRONG OIL FILTER INSTALLED - Most expensive oil change ever, was charged $60 for a full oil change on my wifes 2014 Caravan Limited and was a happy customer until the check engine light came on. Took the car to the Chrysler dealership and was told the oil filter was a bit too short and caused the engine oil pressure to fall. Was charged $160 for diagnosis and new oil change. Any future engine troubles caused by a drop in oil pressure will now get reviewed before warranty. What seemed like a good idea to save some time and do a quick oil change at Mr Lube turned into a major headache with numerous phone calls, dealer visits, web postings, denials by everyone involved. I usually used Oil Changers, and never had an issue like his, but from here on I think I will stick to the dealer. All in this cost me way more in time and money than I would have spent servicing at the dealership to begin with. Unfortunately I cannot recommend Mr Lube to my friends.

Watched a guy poor oil from the bottom of a gallon of oil. It took him 10 mins to poor a gallon of oil. Which should take 45 seconds if you dont poor it from a hole in the bottom. The whole thing took over 45 minute which is a really long time for a simple oil change.

No problems at all, I knew what I wanted I know, I got what I wanted .. There was seasons tire change rush and they had a different lane for those people. I got my oil, filters, windshield wipers, and front light changed (knowing i needed them changed when I went in)... They lube the doors, fill up the air, fill up the wiper fluids etc.. No charge.. My brown jetta was happy. Coffee provided... It does no one any good if someone outright lies and gives it a 1 star revenge posting for something that is not Mr Lube's fault. I have been a regular customer and always get good service, VW owners this is a great place to go...

I stopped by for an oil change along with my coupon for free wiper blades. I was informed that they could not supply the said blades but could do the oil change. So I asked if I could stop by at a later date when they had the free blades it get them installed. Their response was no the blades have to be installed the same day as the oil change. So I returned a week later and their very rude little attendant told me I was not getting wiper blades again, the only thing he would offer me was an oil change with no possibility of the advertised free wiper blades. So I left the coupon with them never to return and I went to Mobile 1 for an oil change and the employees and the service were far more superior then Mr. Lube has every been and I do suggest you go and try them ...... more bang for the same bucks.

Sadly this is the only place in the area that's open past 6pm so I was basically forced to go there. Service tech did not show me the dipstick, did not get me to rev the engine up properly, gave me an inaccurate price at the start of that transaction and then increased it at the end. I got a basic oil change on my older SUV. I normally pay around $60 at the other shops in Langley, this place charged me $90!?!? For conventional oil?! Go absolutely anywhere else.

Dishonest people. I was told by technician that my power take off fluid is burnt and smelling of my CX5. I agreed to change the fluid. When I looked the receipt at home it says differential fluid. I can’t find any information about CX5 power take off fluid. I got differential fluid replaced when I was there before. Never going to this location anymore.

The guys were friendly at the location however, I have never felt so pushed to have extra work done. Aside from the astronomically night price of the oil change ($115!) they tried to get me to go an oil flush, replace all filters, replace my battery and transmission fluid. (My car is relatively new and in very good condition). All if these are easy things to buy for lass than 1/2 the price they were charging. They also tried to get me to give a 5 star review for $5.00 :(. Not cool. I’d be wary of this location.

This mr lube is rubbish, they scammed me, lure me to buy all weather tires whereas all weather tire is not good in Winnipeg, my vehicle was not stable today. I have never used all weather in my life I am always on my winter tires without any issues. Thank God for my new brakes. And I encouraged my mum to do same not knowing this isn't a good option. My winter tires are always the best. People should beware of this particular mr lube not to listen to them, they only use people to sell their fake market. I sold my winter tires for cheap now I have to go and buy another sets of winter tire.

Service was okay. They could not remove my fuel filter for some reason which was fine so I took it to another shop and they had it replaced in no time. I was disappointed to find that when I went to take the oil filter off for my next service (the filter that they had supplied) it was incredibly tight. I don't think that the service technician had properly oiled the seal on the filter causing it to seize on the vehicle. After much fighting with a wrench to get it off I found the gasket stuck to the engine. I also don't rate the quality of the filters they use. (Probably to cut costs and get you back in quicker for an oil change) It would be nice if they gave you an option for a better filter. Even if it meant an extra cost. Overall not the worst place but looks like could be room for improvement.

I've been going here on and off for over 10 years. They have always been excellent. I have never driven a "normal" car. It's always been one that needs special oil or some other kind of hassle for most places. These guys accommodated me every time and have never been out of stock for whatever my needs were that day. Last time I went in they noticed some water mixed with my transfer case oil, suggested I get that swapped and did so. Afterwords I noticed a lack of clicking when I drove (something that had been on my to-do list for forever). The techs are very curtious and make sure you're comfortable during your brief stay.

I had some issues with my tires and they took care of it immediately so I could get to work the next day. When another issue arose with one of the tires, again it was a really great experience because they were so friendly, fast same day service, and professional. All the staff were wearing masks when I was being served, which I appreciate as an essential services worker. One of the best places to take your car for efficient and friendly service. I’d go there again and I recommend this location.

So my roommate brings her vehicle in for a regular oil change service. Mr. Lube does the normal checks on the vehicle. They show her a printout of her battery test and it came out as a fail. The battery was checked months ago at another repair shop and it came out good. We compared the both printouts and found that Mr. Lube tested her battery at a higher CCA rating than what the battery was rated for. Of course it's going to come out as a fail. Either it was an honest mistake or it was deliberately dishonest. Either way, she was about to replace a perfectly good battery, and for that, we gave them one star.

The mechanic was unprofessional. Yelled at me for pulling into the spot too quickly (I was going an appropriate speed, certainly didn’t warrant getting YELLED at). They bickered while working on my car. Felt oversold. Bill was higher than I expected (didn’t realize the oil type I chose was so much more expensive. Also was charged for “premium” service though I didn’t request it). Also attendant forgot to apply my discount and did not offer a refund on the spot, instead offered a discount for next time, but I will not be returning.

Mr Lube on St. Anne’s saved my day after I discovered that one of my van tires was alarmingly low at 5:30 pm one afternoon in 2018. I started to call around with no avail. I Google searched “Tire Repair Winnipeg.” Mr Lube popped up as a result, so I gave them a shout. At the very least, I could sit in the vehicle (with the kids). Turns out that they had tires for my vehicle and would be able to at least review and repair, but not only that, they were willing to STAY OPEN (O.P.E.N.) just to accommodate. It was already 5:30 pm. They close at 6! I still had to inflate the van tire so I can drive it, pack up the kids, and wait for supper to finish cooking so I could leave. With 20 mins to closing. I scrambled. Ran out to inflate the tire, ran back to pack up the boys, pulled the food out of the oven, shut it all down, bolted out of the house in 10 mins. Made it to Mr Lube by closing and began the proceedings. Turns out the tire couldn’t be fixed (of course), so we talked a little shop and agreed on a new full set of tires and an oil change. Which also was due soon. And so, with a full brood in the van toughing it out as patiently as they could, we rolled out of Mr Lube around 7:30 pm. The team that I dealt with were super professional and patient and did what needed to be done. Update: I had a tire replaced at the time of writing this review due to picking up a screw earlier in the week that wasn't serviceable. I was told that they are warrantied as long as there's tread life which was nice to hear, so they changed the tire at no cost while I waited (obviously). I have to say that this shop has impressed me for years now and I'm not burdened by having to drop my vehicle off for half a day.

We purchased a new demo model Ford Focus sedan 9 months ago and after putting 8000 kms on the car I pulled into my local Mr. Lube where I usually go for oil changes. Our service tech Tanner asked me a few questions as we had never brought this car into their shop. He checked our oil and then after asking the kms he informed me that the first oil change done at the dealership was synthetic oil. He was very informative and instead of just taking the money he then informed me that my oil was really clean and that i will get another 3000 kms before it would need changing. This is why we go to this Mr. Lube the employees are great and honest. In this day and age it is very hard to find honesty when sales and maintenance of vehicles are involved. Horrible experience. I asked for synthetic oil and got something else. Now the car will not start in the cold weather. The oil on the dip stick is thick and glob-like. Why pay almost 200 bucks for an oil change and then not get what you ask for? Now i have to tow the car to get another oil change done. The customer service here is excellent but the oil changes today took a minimum of 20 minutes. And for me it took 30 minutes because I was using a fleet card and they first needed to get approval before starting the service. They do not have sufficient space on one side to do tire rotations so I would not recommend getting your tires rotated here. Picture is included. They have 2 feet of space between the vehicle and shelving which is supposed to be sufficient for a technician to squeeze into and remove the tires

I did winter and summer tryes change. Winter tryes change took 5 hours wait time and I had no choice but to wait. Summer tyres change was instant. Went in for an oil change this morning, super nice guy's but as I'm leaving and driving down Fermor, my engine makes a loud sound and smoke starts to billow out from the engine and my A/C vents. I stopped just off lagmodiere and had to get my jeep towed back to Mr Lube. The manager who did my oil change didnt put the gasket on and it blew off, spraging oil all over my engine. Parked my vehicle for about an hour or so and had a tow truck come and bring it back to Mr Lube. Mr Lube paid for the tow truck but they haven't given me compensation for missing out on work to have this fixed and almost ruining my engine. Waiting to hear back from another manager. Videos have been recorded of the smoke billowing out and the oil pouring onto the gravel road. UPDATE: been 2 days and still no word from the manager who said would get in touch with me to work out compensation.

I would not recommend coming here if you are in a hurry. They needed to lift my car up for tires and seemed to forget that 2 of their bays offer this feature. I watched 3 cars rotate through before they thought I could benefit from it 1h 45 min after arriving. Total time spent to get a tire change 3:30 Communication is not their strong suite either, at least with their customers. They communicate with each other well though tend to leave you elevated for 45 min without informing you they have to go do other things. I discovered later it was to inflate my tires in a separate area but 45 min left up above the ground with no idea what is going on is somewhat concerning. A couple of their staff members also seem to have misplaced their masks and have decided to go without. I was under the impression that masks were mandatory though they do not seem to think so.

I don't give many bad reviews, but I always feel like they are trying to upsell me when I go to Mr. Lube. In addition to my oil change, they tell me I absolutely need an engine flush and oil additive for 30 bucks each. Then I hear them say the same thing to the car next to me. So do they say that to everyone? Then they tell me I need to change my rear differential fluid on a vehicle with 26,000 kms. Then they print out a sticker to put on my window telling me to come back in 5,000kms instead of the 8,000 kms recommended using full synthetic. The excuse was that the sticker is automatically generated. I assume this to get you to come back sooner. I'm not going back to Mr Lube. Try Superlube on Regent.

Went there last weekend for an oil change. I told them thats all I wanted when they asked yet they continued to try and upsell me on everything. Which is fine I get it. But then they inform me that my tires are dangerously low and illegal to drive on that even going over a bump would blow them out and i would get a ticket for driving on them . I had just purchased these brand new tires the year before. Im also a vechile inspector by proffession so i went and messured them when i got home and they were all at 8 not 2 like i was told. So either their staff cant even read a tire depth gauge or they were trying to scam me into buying new tires. Neither one inspires confidence in this company. Would not suggest.

For what I went there for, they were great. But to be honest, at the end of it, I felt pretty ripped off. Also partially my fault as I was going to be late for an appointment and didn't use my own common sense. I came in for a synthetic oil change with a vehicle under 50,000 km. I was then told my transmission fluid wasn't good anymore, and I needed it changed. It didn't sound much like a suggestion but rather like a necessity. He told me he would take off $50, but the service would still cost me approximately $300 (taxes included) on top of the synthetic oil change. He told me he would show me, but I realized afterwards that he never did. Nor did he show me the oil after the change. After getting to my appointment, I called the previous team that had serviced my car out of curiosity as it was only a few months since I saw them, and they told me they never thought my transmission fluid was bad. After getting another opinion from someone else familiar with my car, I was also told then that I probably didn't need the transmission fluid change. So all in all, the synthetic oil change that I went there for was good. What happened after not so much. I went there seeing all the good reviews, and I must say I am very disappointed in them and myself, and I most likely will never go there again.

Went in for an oil change and they didn’t attach the skid plate properly. It broke a piece of my fender. There is a hole in my car in result of their poor service and they won’t do anything about it. As an excuse I got that the damage was not visible and that it doesn’t really affect my car. They say that it would cost more for them to change the piece than the advantage I would have with that new piece. As if there mistake causing a hole in a piece of my car is not important at all. Management couldn’t care less about it. … So much for warranty service from certified technicians.

I brought in my 18 hyundai sonata for an oil change and they never sealed off the oil pan properly.. had been leaking oil little by little and had to show it to a mechanic when a low oil level light came on.. these guys seem to be lacking in experience

My tire blew on Sunday and of course everything is closed!!!! and looking for a towing on Sunday was horrendous because I waited for more than one hour and no one came so I drove my vehicle with a broken tire to Mr. Lube l. They took me right away....good thing they open on Sundays. Service was great ! Kostas the manager gave me an awesome price in my 4 brand new tires, mount them, aligned them and the most important thing is that they gave me an prompt, great and knowledgable service to my vehicle and attention to me. The technicians are very nice and reliable!! I took head lights to the shop and hoping to get them installed by paying some labour fee. They didn't charge me the labor fee after installation. It took them about 15 mins to change the two head lights. I will definitely go there if I have needs for my car next time!

I apologize for the length of this review, but it needs to be said. My wife and I went here to get our winter tires put on. We arrived in our own cars shortly before opening time. We were asked to move over to the far right bay as that one had the joist (fair enough). They got me in quite quickly. I don't know what the issue was, but it took them a while to begin the tire change and tell me that several of the lug nuts needed replacing (again, fair enough). However, first they apparently didnt hear me give the go-ahead to order nuts from Lordco down the road, then one guy said only 4 nuts were required. I find out later that 8 nuts were required, yet another guy ordered 10. While this is going on, my wife is waiting outside behind me. The guys let 2-3 vehicles in before her (one was a compact sedan, the same type as hers), yet when we questioned why she wasnt admitted first, they said it was due to the car's weight. When I pointed out that both the sedan and her car were practically similar (even identical) in weight, the guy stuttered, went back to his phone call and we never got an answer. They eventually got her into the bay next to me. However, despite having to get lug nuts replaced and tires changed, I still got out before her (by nearly 1-1.5 hrs!). Overall, my wife was there for 3.5 hrs, for a tire change!! To top this off, when I went to pay, the guy told me the amount owing without showing me the cost breakdown (I had to ask to see it). On the receipt, the vehicle's KM were wrong, and they entered the quantity of lug nuts in as 1 when there were 8. I dont know if they were just short staffed, but if it wasnt for a select one or two people who were friendlier and more helpful, this place would get a 0 or 1. These were all preventable factors that amounted to a negative experience (and this isnt the first time either!). As anyone can see, there are a lot of negative reviews about this place. Be warned!

Went in for an oil change on my diesel truck. Engine light on right after. Checked codes and it pointed me to the air box/filter. Found a rag still inside the air box blocking airflow. Gave them the benefit of the doubt and went back once I needed another oil change. Mentioned about the rag in the intake and was told they were having trouble with turnover. They proceeded with the oil change and was told the oil drain plug had been cross threaded as well. Has to be tapped and new plug installed. VERY disappointed with the quality of work coming out of that shop. If the rag would have taken the engine out would they pay to replace a 6.7 Diesel engine, or to install another pan ?? I highly doubt it.

This company actively tries to upsell at a deceptive level. My Differential Service Interval is 150k km for this according to the owners manual. The tech told me it was needed every 30k km, the manager told me it was 35k, and then showed me in their computer that it is recommended at 48k km. This was after not applying my coupon. He showed me my air filter with less than 10k km on it (Vancouver BC in winter - not dusty!!). Stay Away, they are trying to take advantage of uninformed consumers.

I went here to get an automatic transmission flush on my 2003 Toyota Camry which has a fixed metal screen. I was told by a mechanic to specifically go to this location because they would "drop the pan" and flush. NOT SO. They just flushed and since I have a fixed metal screen, the flush removed nothing except $125 from my wallet. I then went to A & B Transmission and got the correct job done.

My first experience here was great! The staff who took care of my vehicle were super friendly. I was offered a coffee, newspaper or water upon waiting. The service was fast. The cost was affordable for an oil change. They also checked out other areas of my vehicle that needed maintenance such as a dirty filter which they replaced with a cost. Brought my car to this place twice, spent over $200 on the TPMS sensors they told me to buy, to be told they do not work with my car. I had the car brought to a different shop for a second opinion and they were able to program the sensors with the same tool this place has on hand within 5min. They charged me over $35 plus I had to spend money on more sensors $200 because they were incapable to use their shop tools properly. Highly not recommended.

Currently I have been waiting here for 2 and a half hours. There was an hour wait to get started on the oil change when I arrived but my truck needed it. They upsold me air and cabin filter and after trying to install the cab filter they apparently have the wrong one, my glove box is still dismantled, it'd been 35 minutes since they took it apart. My service tech hasn't been near my vehicle in almost half an hour. 2 techs are just standing around not working. It's now 5pm and I've been at this Mr lube since 2:30pm. I will not be a repeat customer of this location and urges others to avoid it as well. This is completely unacceptable and unheard of in the oil change and minor vehicle maintenance industry. I wrote this entire review when I passed the 1.5 hour mark. Service was completed at 5:15 pm. Almost 3 hours for an oil change and 2 air filters is the absolute worst I've ever experienced. Was contacted by Mr lube after this review. Pointed out that I was price gouged to the tune of an additional 90$. Havenr heard back from them since. Receipt wasn't itemized. Avoid this Mr lube. They will scam and over charge you, wont provide an itemized receipt. I've been in contact with the ombudsman and my bank regarding the scam this business is running.
