The owner didn't want my business! I needed to put 2 sets of "summer" tires into storage. I called ahead 2 times to make sure that they offered this service. Two different employees said yes and the last one said that I could just drive right over, "no problem." When I got there, the owner said they were full. I offerred to do my spring changeover there if I could do the storage. Still, "no." Beverly Tire, minutes away, took my tires and money no problem. Manager Therese couldn't understand MacMillan rejecting me. Strange. BTW: I need new summers for my truck: There's NO way MacMillan is getting my $1000 or referrals.

Today ( oct 8th,2020) got a set of Bridgestone Tourenza installed for a very competitive price. I shop around before buying anything...and this business always offer the most competitive price in TriCities. Excellent service and the person handling everything (receipt, coordinate) is very friendly and polite. The tires were well installed and balanced. I'll be definitely going there again and recommend this business to others who are shopping for Tires

I purchased a set of new summer tires from here this year. I compared pricing with Byma's Tire, OK Tire, Canadian Tire and Costco. Even when the others had sales, MacMillian Tire's prices were still better. Unbelievable!!! Service was spectacular as well. Paul was very helpful, patient and personable. The waiting area is comfortable and clean. I will definitely go back here when I need new tires. I recommend you purchasing your next set of tires here. Most value for money. This is the cheapest place I found in KW area to store tires for the season. Tire storage is pretty expensive everywhere else and I am glad I found this place after little bit googling. Their service is prompt, on-time and good. The waiting area has computers with internet, magazines, TV and coffee is available.

Tom and his group of guys have been extremely helpful. Had to repair a run-flat tire on my BMW 328, they did it quickly and effectively. I ran into a issue a few days later, they told me to bring the car in. I had to get a wheel balanced, and they did it quickly, and this was all early in the morning before work. Superb group of guys, and would highly recommend!

I have been going to MacMillan tire since 2012 to change tires and have my off season tires stored. I have had excellent, professional service each time, never any issues. They have started charging an extra fee for storage recently which is completely worth it. The cost to store and change tires each season is still less than you'd pay at Mr. Lube, and the service and knowledge are so much better.

I used them to buy a new winter tire in the fall and to switch over my other 3 tires to winter tires. I thought the service was great because they didn’t charge me putting my other 3 tires on rims, only for the new tire. When I got home to take my summer tires out of my trunk I noticed they weren’t there. I called them immediately, thinking I made a mistake but they told me that they store the tires for me free of charge and just call them in the spring and we’ll make an appointment to switch them over. I thought this was amazing and even recommended them to friends for their service. However, when I called to switch my tires back to summer they said they have no record of my tire storage on file. The manager said they may have deemed them as too old and thrown them out, but nothing was ever communicated to me. So they either lost 4 tires or threw them out without telling me. The manager pretty much said it’s my problem not his for losing my tires. Not impressed, I guess I have to buy 4 new summer tires now, it certainly won’t be from MacMillan tire though.

CAA put the donut tire on after a flat last night and I brought my car in to MacMillan this morning on recommendation from a family member. Jay asked me questions about how much I drive/whether I put snows on in the winter, so that he could find me the least expensive solution possible--a used tire vs new. I was in and out in 30 mins with a shockingly small bill. This was the first time I've had a tire issue and certainly won't be my last. I'll be a customer for life! I should also add that they have an amazing waiting room. Tons of channels, comfy couches, magazines, computers to use, wifi... I was thinking I should have brought my laptop to get some work done but they were so fast I wouldn't have had time to anyway.

Was quoted a price for winter tires and told that there was a $70 rebate from the manufacturer for them. So i decided to get them, when i received the rebate it was actually only $50. I called them to express my disappointment in being misinformed. Woman answering told me that they are only distributors for two types of tires and this wasn't one of them so it wasn't their fault for not knowing the rebate amounts. Its sad that they can get any type of tire and sell it to you without knowing the specifics of rebates they tell you while quoting prices. Mentioned that the invoice from them noted i would need new summer tires and that this sort of thing could impact where i buy them. I was told to buy them anywhere i wanted did not matter to her. At this point that sounds like excellent advice.

First time ( and now I know definitely last time) that I wanted to try their services - put on hold for several minutes when called in to make an appointment..Guy on the phone was extremly unhappy almost rude when he found out that I have my own set of tires that I purchased elsewhere. They don't install tires unless you buy at their location!!! Never again!

Today was our first time coming here. We're not happy at all with the tires that came with our car, and after putting up with them for 3 years, we decided to finally doing something about it. We thought of MacMillan Tire, because of seeing the ads on TV. After reading the reviews here, we knew we had to go and see them. We worked with Brad who is a super-nice guy! He answered all of our questions and concerns with our tires. We bought a set of new ones. It was a joy to sit there and wait. The waiting room and washroom is spotless, the coffee was good (with real half-and half!) and bottled water for the customers' enjoyment. We're definitely repeat customers now, and will see them in the fall when it's time to switch out to our winter tires. Glad to meet you, MacMillan Tire!!

Went in thinking I needed a tire patch up because I found a nail in one of my tires. I removed the tire and took it here because I assumed the nail created a leak but turned out that the nail never ruptured the seal. They did not charge me for the inspection or getting the nail out of the tire. Thank you!

I used to be a fan of this establishment but, not anymore! The old adage "buyer be ware" applies here. I've been storing my tires there for years but not anymore. I guess they weren't making enough money off of me so they decided to tell me I needed new snow tires. I was told they were warn and cracked. I took them elsewhere only to be told there is absolutely nothing wrong with my snows! Being a single woman I guess they figured I'd fall for it. Shame on you MacMillan Tire for trying to take advantage of people.

Beware of this place...you are suppose to have free storage if you buy from them. Even of we had to pay storage due to 2 year covid lockdown that's ok but that does not give you the right to sell them with out contacting us . Brad I'm glad you think this is so amusing to you. 700/800 brand new tires is alot of money to walk away from. stay away! customer service nightmare ....owner ordered wrong size winter steel rims for my car and when they wouldn't fit he blamed it on the bad break pad job that I had done prior to the installation of the winter steel rims on my car....he of course charged me for the rims and I paid for them...he then for years kept the wrong size winter steel rims in his storage and charged me extra for taking my summer tires off my summer alloy rims and putting my winter tires on my summer alloy rims...that of course is double the price of a simple wheel swap when you have winter tires on winter rims and you leave your summer tires on your summer alloy rims.....of course that would happen twice a year, every tire season. every time he would say that once the break pads wear down the rims will fit again. finally i got fed up with that and I took all the rims and tires and went to a different place. i also took the winter steel rims that he had me buy to the authorized dealership where I bought my car to see why they wouldn't fit on my car. it turned out they were for a different model. i confronted the owner with that and to my surprise he knew all about the fact that the rims were not the correct size....all of a sudden it wasn't the "bad break pad job" like he had maintained for years and shockingly out of his own initiative he offered to give me the correct size winter rims. when i asked him what we are going to do about the extra charge for all the years of unnecessary taking tires off my summer alloys he said that he is going to give me a call the next day. yeah i finally got my correct size winter steel rims from him but i never heard from him about a compensation for all the extra charges for the 3 years worth of seasonal tire swaps... every tire season I emailed him for an appointment and it takes him days to respond and then he gives you an appointment in 6 weeks....i was with this guy from December 2011 till last week...oh yeah and one year he jakced up his prices on me by 22.5%. out of nowhere with no explanation. one would think that a company would appreciate a 7year customer a little more than that.... the owner is an old school mechanic with that terrible "used car salesman" attitude who thinks that he is doing me a favor by letting me do business with him. he gets really rude when you question him and even ruder when you follow up on your questions after he brushes you off the first time...

Came to MacMillan yesterday to fix the flat tire on my Civic. They repaired the tire quickly. At the end, they told me it was a bad valve and since it was an easy fix they didn't charge me at all. This is the first time something like this has happened to me. From now on, all my family and friends will go to MacMillanTire for anything tire related.

Thanks a lot to Tom, Brad and his team for the amazing service. First time I went to Tom to get an idea for new rims for my truck. He helped me finding an off-road shop to get those rims with special size to fit my old-timer truck. He ordered the tires in. This place cares a lot about customer service. I came from Germany and quality customer service there is a standard. At Tom's place I met this service. MacMillan Tire is a very busy but family oriented business. Personally I've had good experiences getting my tires swapped on my previous vehicles. I even recommended my brother and parents who now also use MacMillan for their tire swaps. I was disappointed to hear my dad got his tires swapped and immediately felt a shake, only to learn 3 lugs on a 5 lug wheel were loose. I won't be recommending them as highly as I once was.

He is timely, efficient and very reasonably priced. He is a local business owner that gives back to the community, including supporting the Nutrition For Learning program (a nutrition program in over 74% of schools in the Waterloo Region). I went in to get a quote for a set of tires, the guy at the front desk was very rude so I asked to speak with the owner, the owner took my info and said he would get back to me with the price, and he never did. Well guess what I'm not buying from you ???????? (In the end he did me a huge favor by not calling me back, I went to a different shop and got myself a great deal and when I compered prices with my neighbor who got his tires from MacMillan and who recommended the place to me, I realized that I got my tires 20% cheaper then what he paid plus I got fresh tires and he got 3 yrs old tires).
