Update: Changing my review to a 4 star. After the incident they called me back determined to solve my issue. They suggested they take a look at the car again. This time, they found (and showed me) that the previous balance service that had been done (elsewhere) was totally off. I requested to have them balanced and it solved the issue. Kind of disappointed that their employees didn't go the extra mile in looking in to this first time around. But glad they called me back and figured the problem out. (Original Review): Very disappointed with the whole experience. First when I called in to book an appointment, they asked if I was going to be leaving the car or waiting for the service. I said I'd be waiting. When I get there the very next day, they inform me the waiting room is closed due to Covid. Why are you giving the people the option of waiting? Shouldn't you inform about the waiting room over the phone? But that was the least of my problems. Soon after the alignment service I went on a road trip to Montreal. As soon as I went over 100km/h the steering wheel started to vibrate (this wasn't occurring prior to the service). Additionally the car was pulling to the left more than it was prior to the service. The very reason I went in for service was because the car was pulling to the left. I wrote them an email expressing my total dissatisfaction. They called me the day after and basically started making assumptions saying it was due to my tire that went bad or a pothole I hit. I emphasized that this was not happening prior to the service. Then he went on about the many dealers that they do service for as if to impress me and blame my car. At no moment in time did he say, bring your car back, let us have a look and see what's going on. I feel like I was ripped off. I believe anyone who gets any service done to their car expects some kind of improvement. It's very disappointing to get your car serviced and get it back in a worse state then when you dropped it off.

The Fowler tire team are the best! They saved me over $800 on my first visit. I had taken my vehicle into the dealer for a warranty repair. They came out saying that my front axle was leaking and quoted a repair of over $800 and wanted me to book it in. I decided I would shop around for quotes first. I went to Fowler to have my tires rotated and asked them to also quote the axle repair and he said my front axle was fine and if I noticed any drips in my driveway THEN I could be concerned and bring it back for a repair. Front desk staff are warm, accommodating & friendly. Highly recommend.

Yesterday on Monday I had called them around 9am I was lucky to have the morning off hoping to find new mechanic and get my emissions test. The gentleman on the phone told me to come in first thing at 8am or 1pm. Today I went in at 8am saying I have to be at work for 9am, 15-20 minutes drive away. They informed me only 20 minutes they will finish it. 45 minutes later they LIED with NOTHING DONE AT ALL, mechanic said it was the worst time to come there, and in the end I ARRIVED TO WORK LATE WITHOUT THE JOB DONE.

Paid these guys $1,200 to replace the disc brakes on my car. They decided to grind away at the calipers (to clean them they said), so now the shims don't fit correctly and I hear a loud smack from the loose pad kicking around going over every bump. Thanks Fowler Tire. I really appreciate that... I'd recommend going somewhere else.

I've gone here to change winter/seasonal tires twice. Price is reasonable and staff are super friendly. They dropped me and picked me up too. Also had a heat and thermostat problem so asked to have that looked at. They didn't tell me there was a diagnostic fee but ok, I paid without a fuss. It was their estimate for the rad, thermostat, gasket, coolant that was expensive that had me concerned. I found a highly reputable nearby place for $250 less and the check was included. I'll still come here for my tires.

I had two vehicles that needed to have safety inspections performed the day I called along with a bit of other basic annual service (lube/oil/filter/etc) and repairs. They said they could get both vehicles done that day. They got the first one done by early afternoon but the other had a windshield chip. So it had to go out for repair and was back the next morning. The did a great job for a fair price. All round, I was very happy.

Went to get my car checked, as there was a constant grinding noise. My brakes needed to be changed. The staff not only explained it to me, but showed me how worn the pads were. These guys are super stingy. They get the job done, but don't honour their agreements. I had a credit on my account with them, but when I tried applying it, Chris realized they "forgot" to charge me for something else, so he gave me the difference between the credit they promised me and what they mistakenly "forgot" to charge me, so basically my credit was nothing. Chris explicitly told me he doesn't forget matters when it comes to money. Terrible customer experience. Edit: I later remembered why they didn't charge me - because they didn't do the service that Chris thought they did. So after I showed him proof that I got it done somewhere else, he reimbursed me for the rest of the credit. Advice for management: give the customer the benefit of the doubt if you don't want to lose your customers. Even if you forgot to charge me, you can't go and charge me at a later time, that would be your own fault.

We've recently had two very good experiences with Forwler Tire. My mum recently took her Ford escape in to have new tires/an exhaust installed. She found them to be very responsive and friendly when helping her out. Knowing that we needed work done on my car, she let me know that we should give them a call. After trying to get a quote from BMW (who normally services my car) for new brakes/tires for my Mini with no answer, we decided to give Fowler Tire a try. I found them to be very friendly, informative and appreciated that they kept me informed on what was happening to my car. Grant called me immediately once there was a delay for parts and gave me an updated ETA, which was greatly appreciated. The prices were very competitive compared to what I had been paying before (that may be because BMW charges an arm and a leg lol). The entire brake change, tire replacement and oil change was completed in 3 days, with the shop being closed one of those days. Thanks for the great service Grant/team, looking forward to working with you in the future!

Outstanding service! We found a squirrel nest in the bottom of our car with baby squirrels a day before our road trip. Not one star from me. I went here for the first time to get an e-test. I had a light on in my vehicle which came from a car starter malfunction. It was really cold and sometimes a light would come on when I used the car starter, and it failed to start. When they did the test, it read the battery was low. So this was why the car starter wasn't starting it. So they said I would need a battery to pass the e-test. I said okay. I had looked at batteries at Canadian tire and saw one for my car at $160.00. The bill when I went to pay, was almost $500.00. I couldn't believe it.My car is a Chrysler Sebring and the battery is in an awkward place so it supposedly needed a special battery, plus it costs more to put it in because of the awkward spot it is in. They overcharged me $100.00 for the battery and said it took 50 minutes to install it. That special battery cost $160.00 at CT and a youtube video showed a guy putting the battery in the same car in 16 minutes. I was so angry, and when he told me that I had to drive the car for a bit and bring it back to be retested for the pass, I told him I never wanted to see that business again. He proceeded to tell me that since I had already spent over 450.00 on the car, he could retest it then and give me a conditional pass. I didn't understand what he meant but I was just glad to get out of there. So I said okay. This was the Boss, not an employee. I actually saw a look of concern on the guy who had been looking after me, when his boss suggested that. For a second I thought he was going to say something, but when his boss, looked at him and said we can get you out of here in a few minutes, right. He remained silent. The bill for 2 e-tests, a battery and installation was over $550.00. Now I have a car that is fairly new, and you are only allowed 1 conditional pass and if it fails for whatever reason any time I do an e-test, I have to fix whatever comes up on an e-test, or I may as well scrap it. Great eh? Then this battery he overcharged me for, caused my car to not start 3 times in 9 months. I had to call CAA for 3 boosts, which of course happened on cold days in parking lots, not in my driveway, sitting in a car for over 2 hours, and CAA told me it was a faulty battery. I was so angry, I wouldn't go back, so finally my husband had to take the car back to Fowler to see if it was indeed a faulty battery. It was and these people charged him to replace a battery they put in my car, that should have been under warranty, at a crazy price So they got in total over $600.00 from me. I will never ever go to this business again, even if I broke down in the intersection in front of them. I had to put a star or it wouldn't let me post. They don't deserve one.

I was at the hospital all day visiting my wife, got in the the car and the tire pressure monitoring showed one tire down 6 psi. Dropped in to Fowler's at 4:30 as I have been dealing there for years. They were jammed up doing winter tire changeovers but they said no problem that they would stay later to get it done. They where okay but I think they damaged my car, I went in to Aline my front part of my car because the steering wheel always turned to the right and they said you should Aline my rear end of my car. I never thought I needed to do that, so I said no for the rear aliment and the tec really suggested to get it and he got a little angry that I said no. So then they did the front aliment and I notice the car did not dive proper, so not the best experience.

I went there for emission test for the past 5 years. It's ok for that but last September I noticed that the tires of my car were getting worn out on the inside so I took it for aligment. After about 1 hour of waiting I was told that they couldn't align it. That the cams were maxed out and still couldn't make it to be within tolerance where is supposed to be. I was told that there is a procedure that involves grinding the holes from the spindle so it can be adujusted to tolerance. It sounded kind of weird and I've never heard of it before. But they say that they do that all the time. So that day they charged me half the price of the aligment ($45) because "they had to charge me something" even though the aligment wasnt done. Which i get. They spent their time. Anyway I came back a couple of weeks later to do the grinding of the spindle. After $160.00 my car was ready and within tolerance all "completely aligned". So they said. When I looked at the specs sheet I noticed that it had barely made the tolerance. And one of the numbers was still out by .01 but they assured me that it was within tolerance and the car was good. So a month after I mounted my winter tires. Drove all winter and in April 2017 when I changed them back to my summer tires I saw clearly how now my front winter tires were worn from the inside! I took some pictures and drove to Fowler tire the next day and talked to Chris who in the past had been very nice, showed him the pictures. Still polite he told me that they put them to specs in the fall but after some "normal" wear it may have come out oF spec. I asked him if there was anything that they could do and he said to replace the spindle, and if it doesn't work replace the control arm and do the alignment again after each part.(so like $1000 I figured) I asked him then what was the point of grinding the holes and paying for that if it wasn't gonna work. He said they did the job to put it to specs and they did. And after 5 months who knows how many kms (4000km by the way), maybe I hit the sidewalk or a pothole that threw the car out of aligment again. I told him how was it posible that the tire with the most wear was the one they struggle the most to "align" last fall. Now I have 2 of my summer tires worn from the side ( not their fault. That's why I took it to align in first place). And now 2 of my winter tires. They didnt even offer to look into it. I am very disappointed, I guess they have so may customer that one less who cares. Because they just lost my bussines. I do not recommend going here for anything more than emission tests.

Watch yourself Here! on UnFairway/ Kit Unscruplous CONS Grant guy...calls me up with a Quote for Replacing . 2 Ball Joints Tells me...Only way is to Replace the Control Arm...that the ball joint is attachhed to! I go on You Tube and see that...any experenced mechanic can just... Replace the Ball Joint.. Only! He. .quoted me.."Double" the cost of the job...from another shop!! Nice Try..Buddy!!! Not Good for Business!
