I have had them do most of the work to my vehicle since I purchased it. The service and quality of work is outstanding. I recently had my brakes pads and rotors replaced there. I dropped my car off and went to work. They checked the car over to verify the work that had to be done, called me and gave me a price and to let me know that I had a bushing that needed replacement. They asked what repairs I would like them to go ahead with. I told them to go ahead with all of it. Later that day they called to tell me the car was ready. I picked it up and the brakes work perfectly and smooth, and the rattling in my steering wheel has completely disappeared (due to the bushing). They are not open Saturdays, and that would be the only con I could say about them.

On Oct 18th / 21, i called Speedy auto service that i had a muffler issue. Its monday after a weekend , busy day ,and still they found time to get me in , fixed and on my way. Service was great, they treat you with respect. You felt welcome as you wait to get your vehicle fixed, or even a drop off or for pick up when done. They are there for you. its a place you can check out , can't go wrong. No problem for me to return if needed.

Jaime was awesome with well informed details when troubleshooting why the vehicle would not start. Battery, starter, & electricals diagnostics were performed efficiently. No false repairs were issued because the problem was a key signal problem that was addressed very economically. I was very pleased that no new parts or serious repairs were needed. They were friendly and very transparent. The diagnostics fee was very reasonable. I will definitely go back.

Great service and very quick turn around. I called for a last minute oil change before a road trip and they were able to fit me in first thing in the morning. If you only want an oil change (not a full inspection/ air filter, etc) be sure to specify that so there are no “extras” tacked on. I know for next time though, and the staff were very friendly the entire time. Great customer service and will definitely recommend/ use again.

This is my second review for this Speedy. I was happy with them at first. Then I brought my vehicle in because of a clunking sound and was told I needed new tie rods. They told me it wasn't safe to drive I had to order the tie rods from BC so it took six weeks. When I brought my vehicle back in with the tie rods, Speedy said, "Good news! It wasn't the tie rods, it was just a loose bolt". How the hell can you diagnose a car as having broker tie rods, torn boot, and being unsafe to drive and then be totally wrong? They didn't apologize. I brought it to another mechanic because the clunk was still there. They told me upper ball joints, replaced the upper ball joints and it worked. Hard to trust a place that can get something so wrong.

I just recently moved here and needed to find somewhere trustworthy to take my car for basic maintenance. I've always had such horrible luck with auto shops trying to scam me because I don't know much about cars and was an easy target, but I found Speedy to have the best reviews online, so I took the chance and I am so glad I did. I forgot to give them a heads up that I just wanted conventional oil before I left my car at the shop, so I definitely thought they would throw in some extras to bump up the price, but pleasantly to my surprise, I was charged less than $55 with taxes included! I will definitely be referring friends to Speedy Auto and will continue to take my car here in the future. I did a lot of research before picking this location and franchise to have some work done on my vehicle. Doing most of the scheduled maintenance myself and having some tools to diagnose what may ( or may not ) be a problem, I was fairly comfortable and did not want a company to go on a wild goose chase, run up the bill, then stick it to me only not to solve the problem. Peter and the team are a no nonsense, fully certified shop; they surpassed all expectations of quality. Gave the company a call and surprisingly got the proprietor, Peter, on the phone immediately. I mentioned simple details about my car, what I thought the problem might be, and he patiently listened. Setup an appointment to get a flex pipe welded in place of the old one. When I drove to the place, who was behind the counter at the front doing work? Peter of course. Gave him my keys and to my surprise he said it would be done in about 2 hours after work. When they were under the car I even had then slip in a new Oxygen Sensor I picked up online just in case. We chatted a bit about cars in general, gave me some pretty priceless advice about cars that are daily drivers vs. project cars vs. show cars. Very personable people; empathetic and genuine. Good advice was a bonus - they did not stick me in some waiting room out front which I appreciated. By the time I got the bill I was confused; they spent a few hours on my car, installed a brand new flex pipe, had an experienced welder on site to do the installation properly, installed the new Oxygen Sensor I provided, and it came in below cost. Car turned over and the check engine light was gone, ran the On Board Diagnostic (OBD) tool I own and the diagnosis came across clean. Bottom line, an excellent example of how franchises work when the proprietor doesn't take a back seat when it comes to the customers they service. Highly recommended! Took my truck to Midas for an alignment. After waiting almost 2 hours was told due to some seized parts they could not do it and said new tie rods and labour would cost over $1000. Peter and his team at Speedy had no such issues... and didnt try to sell me on parts or service I didnt need. I was quoted $185 when I called but ended up paying only $178 including tires balanced and rotated. Honest and friendly and my steering wheel is straight again. Highly recommended and I'll be taking my business here from now on.

I had my AC fixed at this shop recently, and what I experienced was a gross dishonesty and unprofessionalism. I was referred to the shop by an insurance company as the repair was partially covered under a warranty. I've received a quote from the shop and work order authorization from the insurance company, detailing the cost of the repair as well as amounts covered by the warranty. Based on these documents, I decided to go ahead with the repair. I set up an appointment and brought the car into the shop. I was told that the car should be ready for pick up by noon on the same day. Just before the noon, I received a call from the shop, where they advised, that they got wrong parts for the repair and that they wold have to keep the car in until the noon next day. Not a big deal, anyone can make a mistake. I returned to the shop the next day and wanted to pay for the repair, but the total amount on the invoice was significantly higher then the estimate that I agreed to. When I asked about the discrepancy, their sales Peter stated that the estimate reflected the wrong parts and the correct parts are more expensive. I responded that I was never made aware of the cost difference (prior to paying for the repair) and that this amount is not what I agreed to. After about 15 minutes of discussion they agreed to the original price. My next question was, what portion of the amount was I responsible for, to which Peter responded with an amount that did not make any sense to me. He claimed, that I needed to pay a deductible on top of the amount that was the total minus the amount covered by the warranty. The warranty amount however, reflected the deductible already, so it seemed like double-dipping to me. I wasn't sure however how exactly billing with warranty works, so I decided to pay the amount that Peter suggested I should pay. I reached out to the insurance company for clarification and their manager confirmed that I was in fact overcharged $150.00 as the deductible should not have been charged on top of the amount that reflected the deductible already. He offered to sort it out with the shop, after which the shop refunded the money to me. Altogether, they tried to overcharge me around $230 for the repair. Beware of this shop!

Took our car to Speedy for the first time because we were sick of Midas in town. Our car needed a new exhaust pipe and needed the heat shield tacked back onto the car. We showed up with no notice and the team got our car in quickly and completed all work within an hour . Quoted us a fair price. We ended up heading home and realized the heat shield was still vibrating loud so we took it back in again with no notice . Peter brought the car in right away and apologized for us having to come back . Even though it wasn't there fault :) Will be bringing my car here every time . Super happy over all.
