This garage was recomended to me and unfortunately the experience has been quite poor. I had a wheel bolt siezed in the hub and brought the vehicle here specifically to have that extracted and made it very clear that was the only work to be done. No atempt was made at extracting the bolt and without consulting me they removed the hub requiring replacement of the bearings as well bringing the total from an hours labour up to well over $300. I insisted that this action was not what i asked for and was given a small discount on the work. Within 100 km of driving the bearing failed and i returned to get the bearing changed. They insisted they had not changed the bearing in tge first place contrary to both what they told me and contrary to the required steps of replacing a wheel hub on a 2001 vw jetta. They refused to give me any assistance and I must now replace the bearing myself. All in, what should have been an hour's labour will cost far more and has taken several hours of my time. Purchasing a screw extractor kit would have been far cheaper.

Always had good, fair and in some cases, exceptional work done at DPD. They are a honest repair facility with great staff/mechanics who tell me up front what needs done and what it will cost. I was referred to them by the MTO for my car for e-testing about 4 years ago and i only go to them.

I highly recommend DPD automotive. Their expertise and courteous customer service was top notch. They go above and beyond making sure auto repairs are taken care of efficiently and effectively. During this difficult Covid19 situation we were stuck in Kingston with a vehicle that just wouldn't start. They got us in right away, found the problem quickly and had us on the road and heading home to Peterborough in no time at all. Very satisfying experience.

We've used DPD for years. All season and winter tires changed or new tires purchased or a couple of times to patch a tire. For the flat tires, we're quite stressed since flats never happen at a convenient time...but DPD always comes to our rescue. We won't go anywhere else for tire service.
