The receptionist, Michelle I believe her name was (I apologize profusely if that is wrong), was attentive and personable, very nice indeed. We have been using Boyd Tire and Auto Service for the last few years. We needed a trustworthy and honest business to take on our shop trucks and personal use vehicles. Chad has never let us down. When we just need a simple tire change from summer to winter, he always fits us in. I have a BMW that was causing us grief and Chad had the brakes fixed up and had us back safe on the road in record time. Our GMC shop truck has tires from Chad that never seem to wear out. these tires are unreal . they last twice as long as the factory ones yet cost less to replace. I had traveled to Kelowna for a sporting event with my kids and I was rushing to leave Kelowna for Vancouver ahead of a snowstorm forecast for the Coquihalla Highway when my tire warning light came on for my car. Desperate for help I found Boyds Tire and Auto Service. They took my car in right away and did whatever was necessary to get my tires in top driving condition. And boy was I glad I went to Boyds! On my way from Kelowna to Vancouver that night, I got caught in the worst storm ever! I encountered blowing snow, blinding fog, sleet, ice, and torrential rain. The road conditions were so bad, the highway was in the process of being closed down. There were cars and trucks stuck everywhere! Luckily for me, I found the guys at Boyds and was able to navigate through the storm confidently knowing that my tires were repaired and checked promptly and properly. Long story short, please put you and your family's safety first and visit the honest and professional guys at Boyds, they will take good care of you.

This shop is great!! I had my boat trailer in storage for 3 weeks and was getting ready to load the boat and head home. I discovered I had 1 tire on my trailer that was flat/ had a screw in it. I called these fellas and told them I was a couple minutes away and wondering if they could help me out, they said they would I drove straight there, they immediately fixed the tire in less than 10 minutes! The most incredible part was it when I went upfront to pay, the owner indicated that they don’t charge to fix flats!!! :) it was a very incredible gesture and goes along way in my mind for customer service and repeat business! I left the tire tech I nice tip and I was on my way, would highly recommend these guys in the Kelowna area if you need a good , friendly, honest shop.

Their business hours aren't ideal making it hard for those people who work full time to get down to the store. My husband called on Monday about some tires and asked if they would hold them until I could make it into the shop on Wednesday. The girl told him it was no problem and I could go in anytime Wednesday to pick them up. I showed up at 130pm on Wednesday only to be told rather rudely that someone else showed up earlier and bought them. No attempt was made to assist and help me by offering alternate tires or go over my options to purchase something else.

I had chosen the cheapest tire I could find for my car, and Chad had advised me to spend a few extra dollars for a top notch tire. I reluctantly agreed as I always think everyone is just trying to get an extra buck out of my wallet, but Chad took the time to explain to me the benefits of going with a better tire Vs. the Cheapest tire money can buy. I am happy to say that I am very pleased with investing a few more dollars and taking the advice of someone who obviously has more product knowledge than I could ever hope to learn. My car rides much better and handles the roads way more smoothly with this tire and it was more than I had imagined. I always thought that a tire was a tire was a tire. In my future dealings with Chad, I will most definitely take his advice seriously and will utilize his services with much more confidence after this very positive experience. Absolutely blown away by the customer service here! Chad and the guys in the shop were so friendly and extremely quick! I popped in because I noticed I had a nail in my tire and the manager Chad came outside right away to take a look and immediately got one of the guys in the shop to fix it. I was amazed by how fast they were able to patch up my tire - under 20 minutes. Before sending my on my way Chad explained where the hole was and the job they did for me. Such a great shop, highly recommended!!

There are not too many garage that offer this old fashion service anymore but Boyd's is definitely one of the last. Excellent, excellent customer service and friendly and most importantly helpful advise. They are not concerned with getting a large bill from you but more so about their reputation and today this is so important and they get this. I highly, highly recommend that you use Boyd and only Boyd for all your tire and auto needs.

Called first thing in the morning with a slow leak in one of my tires. They said bring it right in and it would take them less than a half hour. I left the car, my name, and my phone number and walked around the corner for a coffee, a breakfast croissant, and a read of the Kelowna Daily Courier at the Pulp Fiction Coffee House. Less than a half hour later Michelle called me and I returned to pay and pick up my car. Surprise - Michelle said that they had repaired the puncture and it would be “No Charge”. Great service, very friendly. When I need to buy a set of winter tires this fall they will get my business.

I had winter tires, exhaust manifold, o2 sensor AND new windshield done through this shop all within just 6 hours. Went in to have a set of tires mounted on rims and put on the vehicle. I had an appointment at 3PM, the service seemed slow and when I returned an hour later the tech had just started. Unfortunately I made a mistake and had brought in the rims with the correct bolt pattern, but incorrect hub size, so they would not work. The tech realized this AFTER mounting the tires to these rims but before trying to fit on the vehicle (over an hour and a half after my appointment start time). I ended up being charged double what I originally expected, and was there for over two hours while the tires were dismounted. I realize that it was my mistake bringing in the wrong sized rims, but I would like to suggest that if techs can easily tell rims will not fit, they verify this BEFORE mounting the tires. Would have saved a lot of time, money and frustration. The owner did take time to educate me on what the correct rims would be for my vehicle.

Got my winter tires done here for the first time. Was impressed with how professional and honest the staff were. A couple days later was having issues with my window regulator, the staff were kind enough to book me in last minute and made it a priority to check out was was going on. They managed to fix it in a timely manner. They give great feedback! Would highly recommend this place!
