Have been using their services for quite a few years for both of our vehicles for both routine mainenance( tire purchases and rotation, oil changes ,rustproofing etc..)and for major mechanical repairs. They have consistently given us an honest , clear assessment of what work is required to fix an issue. They also deliver amazing service and their pricing has always been honest and fair. Terry by far one the most honest auto mechanics I’ve ever dealt with. Thanks dropped my sons car off and thinking AC compressor was at its end of life but my diagnosis didn’t quite convince Terry. He could of easily made over 1k on this service but was than 150. Terry has done work for me in the past and my neighbourhood he definitely has earned and continues to uphold his honest reputation. We were in a terrible jam and needed to get to Toronto. Called Terry from T and B after calling about 7 other repair shops in Lindsay. No one would take us, with est. wait times of 2 weeks!! Terry said bring it over we will fit you in and they did !!. Total professionalism top to bottom. The woman at the desk Dianna was superb, friendly and went extra miles with awesome customer service. I work in Lindsay and was looking for an honest and talented shop for basic maintenance. These guys fit the bill, but when my son had bigger trouble with his older Ford Escape, I brought it in not knowing what was wrong with it. They diagnosed it, gave me a reasonable estimate, and fixed it for just under that estimate. I've since gone there for regular oil changes, brake replacement, tire changes, etc. I writing a lot because I'm always so impressed. They don't try to upsell you, and their work is top-rate. Five stars easy.

Too much sloppy workmanship and unapologetic when confronted. I had been going to T & B Automotive for about 5 years up until today. While rates are fairly cheap, the work was sub par. I have seen quite a few of Terry's technicians come and go but no matter what, sloppy workmanship seems to be consistant. I have recommended T & B to my neighbours, friends, family, etc. in the past and have had quite a few complaints. Very sad that I have to try and find another mechanic after giving these guys so many chances and taking all of my vehicles here. I booked an appointment 2 weeks out and a week after their first availability, specifically asking the tech on the phone to make sure they had time to do everything needed as I know its tire season and things can get busy. I brought my truck in for a fuel filter replacement and oil change, plus an overall inspection and grease job. (Decided not to do the oil change in the end) I specifically asked to make sure a few specific spots were greased (brake slides as they can be a problem on my truck). To which I was told wouldn't be an issue. After doing the filter, lights came up on the dash for an attached sensor and they were trying to send me out the door without a fix, saying the sensor is rusted and needs replacement. After talking with me they took the truck back in and got the sensor working again somehow (without telling me before or after) After picking up the truck and going through the connections myself, the plug was still loose... They didn't grease any points on the driveline and didn't touch the brake slides. Without so much as an apology today, I was shrugged off and told " things take time and time costs money" as well as the old tire season excuse. Even booking a large timeslot and weeks in advance can't help you I suppose. In the past they have done shoddy exhaust work and left a 8-10' section of exaust pipe and muffler hanging off of the back of the turbo without any hangers or other mount points connected. There are so many other grumbles I've had over the years that just made me shake my head but I'm not going to make a scene over small things. But, the small things have snowballed and here we are... Good luck with buisness guys, can't say I'll be back :( Below are just some of the dry and untouched clearly visible grease points ignored during service.

Finding an honest mechanic is a bit like finding Bigfoot, you think they are out there and people say they've seen one, but they are incredibly rare to find. Thankfully I've found T&B. Terry is as honest as they come, on more than one occasion he has quoted me a price then found cheaper parts and reduced the price accordingly. And he only does what is needed, if it ain't broke he doesn't recommend fixing it. I won't take my vehicles anywhere else!

Had a good experience with Terry my first time there. Changed my transfer case, front and rear diff oils, as well as swapped my tires for a very reasonable price, all within the time they gave me. Good and honest, hard to find these days. Will be returning at some point in the future.

Always have to re take it back to be fixed had major work done always something have to take it back very inconvenient my partner had an oil change forgot to put they forgot to put the cap back on almost blew the motor never going back

Went in to T&B just to have an inspection of why my car was vibrating at hwy speeds. They found the issue aswell as a couple more underlying issues and got the parts and fixed the problem that day!
