This is as close as it gets to that small town friendly service. The mechanic took the time to top up my coolant and didn’t ask for any money. That’s the kind of service that will steal my business. I was very impressed that they took the time to pick me up from my cottage to pick up my serviced car. Highly recommended.

Dont call these guys for towing huge ripoff. We agreed to one price over the phone, calling regarding a winch out of some snow. After the towtrucker sits in the driver's seat and we are the ones pushing the van he charges us double what was said over the phone. 5 minute job, no winch was even used. Untrustworthy and con-artists!

Best experience I’ve had at a mechanic shop by far. I brought my ATV in to Ryan the small engine mechanic. When I brought it in I had a ton of problems with this machine, and I had been putting quite a bit of time & money into it. My electric start, my winch and my rad weren’t working properly. Ryan fixed all of these problems and more in such a timely manner! He was extremely fair with me and did an amazing job. He is a very smart mechanic. I would definitely recommend to service your machines with him and with Kawartha garage as a whole.

I took my van in last Saturday morning for 8am to have them check the sudden grinding in the rear wheels. I suspected it was the brakes. Ryan and his co-workers promptly fit me in. Not only did they rightly diagnose the serious rear brake issue, they offered to inspect my front brakes and noticed they needed servicing. By 8:30am I was driving out with a free, detailed printed quote plus an appointment for the work to be done mid-week. Work was done with a slight delay, but a complimentary shuttle back to my house and then back to pick me up again kept things going smoothly. Excellent front desk customer service by the ladies rounded out my great customer experience at this establishment. Thanks everyone!

Took my pickup truck in to get an emergency brake installed . They didn’t even adjust it ! Seriously! I got home had to go back and mechanic said “ You just asked us to install it not adjust it “ wow good thing I didn’t need it on my 2 trips there and back . I should have called MTO Safety . Had to pay another garage to ADJUST it .

Recently on a Saturday at noon I went to Kawatha Garage on Hwy 35......BTW, it was closing at noon. There was a scraping sound from the rear brakes, which had been recently been replaced.. I asked if they could help and immediately they took my car in, jacked it up and determined that it was likely a broken Spring within the Parking Brake. As it was a Mercedes, I was advised that they would be unable to get parts, but it was OK to drive. So I drove it gently to Port Perry where I had it repaired....A $4.00 spring. I spoke with a woman and man there, and they refused to take any money for their work. ‘Happy to help’. Wow......Highly recommended!

Great people, great service, honest! I had my Mercedes towed into the shop after attempting to boost it. We all assumed it needed a new battery which is not cheap for a Mercedes. After their mechanic inspected the vehicle it was actually a bad battery in my key fob that caused all the issues. They replaced the $1 battery in the key fob and charged me the minimum labour cost which I would never begrudge them! Honest people, they could have easily told me it was a much more complex problem. I'm not sure they have the best mechanics in the world but I can say they have the most honest mechanics and staff. Don the owner is a salt of the earth good man who has built and earned a reputation in this community.

WoW !! What can I say!! Fantastic outcome to my automotive miseries! The BEST shop to take your vehicle if you're out of warranty! Front desk staff and mechanics are very polite, KNOWLEDGABLE and friendly. Ohh...Did I mention cost-effective?.... Extremely! I will never darken the doorsteps of another car dealership ever again. HIGHLY RECOMMEND !! (even just for a simple oil change)
