My car has a CVT transmission and since it works differently than conventional transmission, they took the time to explain the differences and gave me some technical information to read. This was all very helpful in understanding my new vehicle. They did not charge me anything for their help.

The car I was sold always has issues, and constantly taking back for service. Went the other week to get a water leak fixed, the engine light was still on in my car after they were finished and when I arrived home all the sensors came up on my dash. Should not take 3 trips to get the problem fixed when they have a computer that diagnoses what’s wrong with the car. Safe to say will never be taking it back there for service or buying another vehicle from there again.

Boyer Chevrolet Lindsay was able to book me in for my first oil change with in just a couple days. COVID protocol was followed for an easy drop off and pick up. My truck was washed and waiting out front at the time it was promised.

Sales department is great, originally bought our Equinox off Ryan Reeson, and he was a delight to work with. The vehicle came with 4 free oil changes, and I went in for my 3rd one recently. I called in advance to make sure I would have a spot to sit in the waiting room with my 3 month old baby, as we are from out of town and can’t use the shuttle service. Thank goodness his grandparents were able to watch him last minute. I get that the service is free, but I don’t understand why a routine oil change took 2 hours to complete...

This dealership fixed a computer problem under recall. Lindsay Buick charged us roughly $500.00 and never solved the problem. They were asked if there was a recall for this problem and we were told no. Job well done Boyer Chevrolet Lindsay.

They were very flexible while booking my appointment but I still made a mistake and was a half hour late showing up right before their lunch break. A mechanic delayed his break so that I didn’t have to wait. I was very thankful.

Fast, efficient service replacing my spring tires with the winter tires on rims. Did not have to wait long for an appointment, especially for the 4th week of November. Clean waiting area off the showroom, Covid protocols were in place.
Everything went well I checked the car in was told that it would be an hour and half I checked out the car in the lot then found a comfortable chair and waited until Amy came gave me the paper work and told me it was all done washed ready to go I thanked her and went on my way.

I have a 2013 Terrain with 74000 km and had not been driven since March 2020. My parents had passed away and we needed a safety to transfer ownership. Both myself and my brother have our own personal licensed mechanics that could have done the safety. We chose Boyer because we felt that my Father had all the service completed at the dealership and help out the local economy as both myself and brother live in the GTA. Upon dropping off the vehicle the service person advised they would call when it was ready. Within 45 min they had called and advised me the car only had 50% contact on the front rotators and it would require 700 dollar break job on the front and it would include servicing the rear. I declined and stated that I would have my personal mechanic do the work .I would bring it back to Boyer to confirm the work was completed to get the Safety Certificate. When we brought the vehicle in the garage first issues was the lock nut was put on with a high impact gun required a breaker bar and 6ft pipe to loosen the bolt. Oddly when the rim was removed the rust had still sealed it to the hub. The mechanic then checked to brake assembly to find all the components were still new and even asked if the front brakes were the issue not the back brakes. Based on this he distrusted Boyers inspection and proceeded to do his own. The following day I had contacted the service manager at Lindsay Boyer and advised him of what had occurred. According to their shop policy if there is less than 50% contact with the rotators they’re required to do a complete brake job regardless if the parts are brand new. Let’s be clear there was full contact between the brake pad and rotors. I did request to be reimbursed but it was declined because the service manager wants to re-inspect the brakes. Truthfully I do not have time waste on this incident; so I have deemed the 130 dollars as a parting gift to Lindsay Boyer. This has been a reassurance to myself to never trust a Dealership Service Dept. especially Boyer. Lastly, in my personal opinion this is a highly unethical shop and they will take advantage of the customer.
I want to express my recent experience at Boyers Chevrolet Lindsay. First I have to mention that my husband has been dealing with them for over 30 years. Now it was my time to deal with them for my personal needs.This was a smooth process from beginning to end. Everything was explained to me in great detail leaving me feeling very confident with this new purchase. Brandon Boyer (Dealer Operator) found a way to make the deal work for me and Kevin Bailey (Busines/Sales Manager) is totally professional, honest and accommodating. Kevin Leggat walked me through all the special features and how to operate them. After this experience I know that I will only deal with Boyer Lindsay for service and any future purchases. My appointment was for 2.30. My car only went into the workshop at 3.20. I eventually left at 4.30. So 2 hours for a tire change and not even an apology. Not impressed.

My first oil change was supposed to include a wash . It was listed on the work order but the truck not washed. I asked the service advisor to check my running boards pealing paint. I had to remind him when I picked the truck up and he took pictures then He had to show it to someone else?? I have not heard back I told him the defroster was not clearing the windshield on humid days and would fog over when driving. He told me his truck did the same thing. This should be a safety concern. Transport Canada should be notified if GM cannot correct this issue
