Took our 2007 Honda S2000 here for a larger service, replacement of bushings, valve adjustment and spark plug change. Also suspension overhaul. Wai took very good care of our vehicle and has extensive experience in dealing with Honda's/Acura's. Took extra time to show us underneath the work that was completed and ensured we were okay with keeping or throwing out the worn items. Would recommend and continually would bring a vehicle here for servicing. Last year also had steering rack replaced on a 2002 Accord and was sourced/finished promptly. Greatly extended the life of our vehicle. Back was super clean and organized. Never seen a shop this clean in my life.

I took my 2014 Honda CRV to Jasper Autoworks for the dreaded VTC cold start rattle that plagues many K24 2.4 engines. Wai looked after this plus a number of other things like checking valve clearances, new spark plugs, PCV valve, all with genuine Honda parts. The total came in $1000 less than what my local Honda dealership had quoted me. I am very impressed. Thank you Wai!

Had a great experience at Jasper Autoworks today. Wai, the owner, is everything you could want in a mechanic: honest, professional, competent, and a nice guy. He was a top technician at Acura/Honda for many years I believe. Brought my Honda Civic in for brake pad and rotor work, an oil change, power steering, and brake fluid maintenance. The price was way cheaper than going to the dealer and very competitive to several other places I called in west Edmonton. Wai had my car ready to go in no time. I'll be back!

Great customer service and great prices (parts + labor was quoted way less than the dealer)! Had to get some sensors replaced for my 2002 Honda Accord. The mechanic was fast! I waited no longer than 20 minutes for the new sensor to get installed. I also requested to get a power steering flush but the mechanic was honest enough to tell me that i didn't need one. The mechanic took the time and walked me through, in detail, what i do or didn't need to get replaced. I'll definitely be coming back in the future to get service done and will highly be recommending Jasper Autoworks to anyone that needs an auto repair or service done in Edmonton.

They give extensive details on their reports and give an easy to follow breakdown. Comparable to dealerships, their prices are significantly better. I have been referred to this place by my co-worker. I got my brake pads and front rotors replaced on my Mazda 3 2018, and supplied my own car parts for the service. Just like my first experience, very professional and they explain things clearly. This is the place to get your vehicle serviced. It is not easy to find an honest and consistent place to get your service. Sending my Rav4 to Jasper Autoworks for a full inspection soon. The wait time to get your vehicle in is longer than some places, but it is worth the wait.

Even though this place is a bit far from my house, it's totally worth the trip because of the quick service and honest work! Oil changes only take 30min and inspections under an hr. There is limited parking at the front, but there's usually space at the back.

I found this company really honest and upfront about what needs to be repaired. Not many mechanics operate the way Jasper Autoworks does anymore. This is how a lot of mechanics work these days. There’s a book or software program that tells the mechanic how much time they can charge for a particular repair on every single part that a vehicle has. For example if your brake pads need to be replaced, it might say it’ll take a repair time of 1.0 hours to fix it and that mechanic can charge you 1.0 of his hourly fee to have the pads replaced on the front or rear wheels plus whatever the parts cost on top of it. But this isn’t how mechanics take advantage of you. They will break down every single part they have to take apart and charge you all these extra fees. For example, the brake calipers needs to be taken off so that’s maybe .4 hours, the brake pad clips need to be taken off so that’s .2 hours, the rotor needs to be machined or replaced with the pads so that’s .5 hours. So instead of charging you the 1.0 hours which would have included removing the calipers, clips and rotors just slide off after those parts were removed. So now instead of it being a 1 hour job, you were billed 2.1 hours to replace the pads. Be very wary of what other mechanics bill you for and even ask them to show you what their books say if you’re unsure. Getting back to Jasper, these guys have a flat rate for brakes which is what everyone should be doing because brakes are super fast and easy to do! Along with that they told me what tune up stuff needed to be done and were efficient with their time and I’m super happy! So I applaud these guys for being upfront and honest about what they have to offer. Highly recommended!

I've been bringing my vehicle to Wei for the past couple years. I must say he is one of the most honest and reliable people i have ever met. The experience I had with Wei was transparent from the start. The first time, he took my car in and did an inspection, he showed me all the problems I had with my car. Wei is very knowledgeable, he was able to provide all the info I need to get my car repair at the time I can (afford) without repairing it all at one time. Him and his team have serviced major parts on my '08 Infiniti' from brakes/rotors and suspension/shocks. They did an amazing job on my vehicle and now she drives wonders. I'd give 10 stars out of 5 if i could. I wanted to check the brakes on my 2005 Ford Sportrack Explorer. I wasn't hearing any grinding or squealing, but just wanted to see how worn they were. (Came from a small town and driving in the city with all the stop and go made me want a check). Went to Midas where they took the wheels off and said I needed a complete brake replacement, front and rear (glazing, calipers worn out, rotors worn out). I was not happy with their assessment nor the price quoted, so I googled garages near me and came up with Jasper Autoworks. Wai had me come in and took the wheels off. My brakes are in good shape all around. Minor wear, but not even close to being bad enough to replace everything. He explained the parts, how worn they were, and even rotated my old tires (which Midas did NOT even though they must've seen they needed it! I could!) Now, Jasper Autoworks deals with Japanese vehicles, but brakes are brakes, tires are tires, and oil changes are oil changes. The general maintenance of my vehicle will be done here, and if anyone needs work done you know you can trust that it will be done well, done only if needed, and at a fair price. I cannot say enough good things about Wai Wong and Jasper Autoworks! Kudos!

I’ve been going to Jasper auto works for I think a little over a year. I have to say I get more and more impressed every time I go. I just dropped off my vehicle yesterday cause it broke down about an hour North of Edmonton and I got it towed to Wai. I told him it was no rush to fix, that he can do it when he has time. He seemed very busy and pretty booked up. He got back to me the same day. I rented a vehicle for a few days and was planning on renting for longer. ( this is not saying to bring your vehicle to Wai if it broke down and expect him to drop all his appointments that day to fix your car. I’m saying he is a very hard worker and any chance he has time he will always help you). He is extremely honest, and takes time to explain what is going on with your vehicle. Never recommend service that are not due or would be a waste of money if I did it now. If anyone is looking for a mechanic I will always refer them to Wai. I’ve had some shady experiences with some dealerships and should’ve switched to Wai a long time ago.
