I was passing through with my family, when a pulley started clattering. They got me in with no notice, feeling bad for my predicament. They confirmed that my water pump was failing, and gave good advice about getting back to Edmonton. (I couldn't keep my family there for a 6 hour job.) They charged nothing at all for their time and the use of their shop and lift. They also made my wife and 6 children feel very welcome in the waiting room while the minivan was being inspected. Great experience. Great crew there. Not just about the business, but it's the relationships you make along the way, too. They showed that they care about that, too. God bless.

I had a tire puncture on a logging road that couldn't be repaired. The tires I have are apparently difficult to find currently (BF Goodrich A/T K02) but they found one and had it delivered to their shop and installed in roughly 24 hours. That was during a rush of people doing the switch to winter tires. Connor was great to deal with and the guy that did the actual install (don't know his name, wore a 10tree hat and had a couple hair braids) were both outstanding. I would highly recommend you go here if you need fast reliable service.

Had a screw in my tire causing a leak about half an out from Hinton, called every other tire shop in town before calling them as they were furthest away. Was told I'd have to wait 2 or 3 hours before getting in at any other shops. OK tire said it was first come first serve & got me in, tire fixed and on my way and at no cost nonetheless in less than half an hour. Real stand up guys here for sure. Thank you!

I took my Audi here when I first bought the car because they supposedly had and ex Audi Tech employed. I understand why he is no longer working at Audi, my car had to be brought back twice after the original repair because the OK Tire crew ordered and installed the wrong part both times. I recently took my car in for and inspection (not on my own terms) due to some leaking coolant and I was informed my head gasket had blown. I drove the car directly to my reputable mechanic and he dismissed this diagnosis automatically, showing me the coolant hose which had worn enough to make a fair sized hole. From my multiple experiences with this garage I can't think of one good thing to say about the service, experience, or professionalism of this particular OK Tire. If you bring your car in for a specific problem, expect a phone call with a list of more problems they recommend be fixed as well.

They are first-come first-serve on Saturdays. I arrived at 8am and they appeared to be pretty busy but the staff were very efficient and helpful. Gave me a great price on winter tires and had my car ready by 11am (there was a long list of people ahead of me). Very polite staff, great service, and great prices.

I switched my winter tires out for my summer tires this weekend and we found a nail in the sidewall of the back right tire. I was told that I'd have to replace the whole tire by my friend's mechanic--it wasn't in an area that could be patched! I had gotten my winter tires this year from these lovely folks (and they were excellent tires!) so I figured I'd give them a call today and see if they could order a tire and install it onto my wheel at some point in the near foreseeable future. They were unable to find the tires I have, but found a brand that matched the tire treads of my current ones almost perfectly! AND had it in stock! AND THEN Tori, the lovely person at the front desk, told me that it'd be easy enough to just squeeze me in at some point, since it was such a small job, that she would definitely call me back to tell me when I could bring my car in so he didn't stay at the autoshop indefinitely. I said thanks, that'd be LOVELY, already excited that they already HAD a tire for me and I wouldn't have to wait for one to come in. I also said no worries for the rush, considering the pandemic cause it's not like I'm going anywhere ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I expected her to call back like. Tomorrow or later in the week, but she called back THE SAME DAY and was able to squeeze me in at 2! They disposed of the old tire, installed the new one, and had it ready to go in 40ish minutes. I did NOT expect such fast service, but HERE WE ARE! I absolutely love Fielding's OK Tire and would definitely recommend them! Thanks for fitting me in today, folks! :D

Could not be happier with the service here! As someone who knows literally nothing about my car, I feel great about bringing it to the guys at Fielding’s. They take the time to explain what my car needs (without making me feel like an idiot, which as a woman is refreshing!!) and they are willing to work with me and my time and budget (especially as a broke grad student). Great service and knowledgeable staff. I needed to have a tire repaired from picking up a nail somewhere in my travels. This is one of the few garages that will repair a tire properly by dismounting the tire and taking the time to plug AND patch the hole, remount and balance. All of this done for a few dollars more than just a plug at other places. All done within a very reasonable amount of time... I will definitely shop here for my next set of tires.

Unfortunately did not have a good experience here. Phoned in to ask the price to switch over some tires and trims, they gave a similar price to most of the other shops, and said I didn't need a appointment and it would take 30-60 minutes to finish. My husband goes to the gym next door, so next day he drops the car off and goes to the gym. Again they tell him itll be 30-45min. Great, he goes to the gym, comes back over an hour later, car is still not done. They tell him another 30-45minutes. He is the only person sitting in the shop waiting, he can see the car and no one is anywhere near it. Some lady comes in drops hers off, they start working on it right away. Then he sees then start on my car, 2 wheels get done... then they walk away, no one touches it again for awhile. He is still the only person in the shop waiting, asks AGAIN how long it's going to be, finally they finish it up, after the car being there for over 3 hours and my husband waiting there for 1.5hours. No apologies or anything. Also the reading material they had on the counter to read? The American NRA gun magazine with some pretty messed up articles trying to justify school shootings.

My son and his friends were traveling from Camrose area to Grand Cash on a camping trip. They had just gone past Hinton when the motor on my son's truck went. They got towed to OK Tire where the staff went above and beyond! They loaned the boys a truck so they could go camping still. We all met up on monday to rescue the boys and haul the truck back home. Unfortunately the shop was closed and my husband and I were unable to thank anyone. I will forever be grateful to them and would highly recommend this shop to anyone! Thank you for not leaving my 18 year old son and his friends stranded.

After a quick Google Search and drive with the spare tire, we arrived at OK Tire Kamloops, they had a busy day but were able to squeeze us in between the rest of their work. I was travelling from Victoria BC to Regina Sask and had rented a Uhaul Trailer. On the drive the left rear tire kept loosing air on the trailer and when I reached Kamloops It was getting worse so I stopped in Kamloops at The uhaul dealer and waited for them to open. This was about 5am. When The Uhaul dealer finally opened I found out they could do nothing for me and I had to call in to there customer care department and they would send someone out to fix it. Huh??? Unbelievable. Anyway I had seen the OK Tire store on the way to the Uhaul dealer which was just up the road so I drove over to the store to see if they could fix the tire and I could be on my way. I arrived at the store and entered " Now id like to mention I looked tired, I was unshaven and in my black Snapon Jacket and black work pants as we had worked late the day before loading my truck and this trailer full of tools." I was greeted by a Very pleasant guy " Sorry I forget his name' but he had glasses and Curly dark hair. I told him my problem and he said no problem and ask me if I could back up to the door. I proceeded to back up to door and a Tire tech was waiting. I walked over to the Tim Hortons in the same parking lot to get a coffee and by the time I returned the tire was off and leak was found. Wow, they proceeded to show me the tire did have a hole and needed patched but the cords were broken and the tire had a bulge and needed replaced. I called Uhaul customer care and told them the problem and told them where I was etc. They explained that I needed to go to there preferred vendors but would call me back. A few minutes later the Pleasant service writer came out and told me Uhaul was on there phone and wanted to talk to me, I went into store and spoke with the Uhaul rep who informd me I would have to go to a different tire shop. Now this was embarassing as now I am on OK tires phone and have to tell them I have to go somewere else. The service writer was still super nice and said "Oh well not a problem, let us patch the tire up no charge and you can get over to there preferred vendor a few blocks away. Now this is unheard of and let me mention one more time I looked like well "Shit" but this gentlemen and the tire tech treated me respect and there service was unbelievable and unheard of. My hat is off to you Boys and I would tell anyone with a problem Travelling through Kamloops to go directly to This OK tire store , unbelievable service. Oh Guys I manage a huge automotive shop In Victoria and Usually standing there with a tie on and not in a scruffy jacket and pants looking like I did not have $5 in my pocket. You treated me with respect and your service was awesome, I am only mentioning this because I was not treated that way at Uhauls Preferred Vendor, I was looked down on and could read what they were thinking standing there in there pretty shirts and jackets. A lesson to be learned and one I always teach my staff. I will be Rating the preferred vendor shop and will mention how I was treated by them and how I was treated by you. Once again guys, absolutely top notch service and your Manager /Owner should also be commended for hiring staff like yourselves. Thank you very very Much. Mike

Limped into OK Tire on Aug 8, 2020 at 3:30 pm on a Saturday. Shop closes at 4:00. They repaired it and we were back on the road home to Prince George B.C. Tire bearing was going. If they hadn't repaired it we would have had to wait till Monday morning. Truly grateful.Thanks to all the staff but especially to Ken our mechanic.

Had a fantastic experience here. Not only did they take my car in last minute, they quickly found the issue and made it run again. I had a diesel gelling problem due to the extreme cold spell, the tech wasn't even phased and knew exactly what to do. Even changed my battery out. as I had a long drive ahead of me, they also ensured that the problem itself was indeed fixed before letting me drive the car away. Not only that, Will at the front, even put items back into the hatch area I had in backseat. Truly found this shop went over and above anything I could have expected, very friendly and accommodating, plus very fair pricing. Went there for an alignment and they only adjusted the camber because they didn't know how to adjust the tie rods then proceeded to charge me full price. Vehicle left in way worse condition after I brought it there. Went down the road to Canadian tire and they had my truck aligned in under an hour with no appointment booked. We broke down in Kapuskasing on Canada Day July 1st on our way to Toronto. Naturally everything is closed. Called CAA and they dispatched OK Tire in Kapuskasing. The “Boss Man” ( Reg) as Gates calls him, showed up on his Spider and said the tow truck is on the way and was there anything else he could do. I told Reg we are on our way to Toronto and needed a rental vehicle. He said leave it with me and a short time later he returned and said it was all looked after and Bert Gaulin would meet us at noon hour with the papers and the rental. He checked up on us again while waiting for the car. To me this is service above and beyond and we can not express our gratitude enough.

Probably THE BEST auto service I've gotten in Kelowna so far. I had a totally flat front tire and needed a single winter tire to be studded, installed, and aligned. Multiple other tire shops told us that we couldn't do that and that we'd have to buy 2 tires, but OK Tire fit us in immediately, suggested we swap the tire with one on the back, and had all the services above done for us within a day and at a great price, with an oil top-up and an inspection thrown in for free. AND, they were also super helpful and accommodating when we had to have our car moved from one OK Tire location to another due to a mistake on our part. Best mechanic I've ever been to. Checked my car out for free and then even fixed my rattling brake pad for free. Every other shop I've ever gone to charges money to even take a look at your car. Turns out something else is up with my car but they were honest and told me it's not a rush to get it fixed and it won't cause any serious problems. Quote they gave me for the part to fix it was super inexpensive too. It's rare to find an honest mechanic so these guys will be getting all my future business. On Friday April 28th I had a blow out in Jasper. The tire was completely ruined and all I had as a spare was the temporary donut that came with the car. I live in Edmonton and was not comfortable taking the risk driving 300+ km home on a temporary tire. On Friday night I contacted a couple tire places in Hinton to find out if there was anything they could do to help me, including OK Tire via their text number on their website. The only response I heard back was from Fountain Tire. The manager called me after hours to tell me my options and said he'd call me back in the morning -- which he did. Unfortunately, Fountain Tire didn't have any tires in my car's size. However, they offered to call other tire places in Hinton for me. They determined that OK Tire did have tires in my car's size, although OK Tire never returned my text. I called OK Tire myself to ask what my options were at their store. Rather than helping me on the phone (as I was in Jasper), the man I spoke to suggested I come to the store to discuss in person. Since I didn't really have any other options, I drove to Hinton and went to OK Tire. Once I arrived, the man behind the counter told me that they did have winter tires in my car's size (as it was one of my winter tires that blew). He had a technician go out and look at my current tires and then come back in and tell him which of their available tires had a similar tread. Based on their advice, I assumed what they were recommending was a good option, so, following their advice I purchased this new winter tire and they put it on my car. I thought everything was okay, until I took my car to my dealership to have my all seasons put on for the summer. When I told them one of my winter tires was new because I had a blow out, they told me that all wheel drive vehicles, like my Subaru, shouldn't have tires of a different brand, tread, or depth OR there was a good chance there would be major problems with the differential over time. The reason is because this one tire would turn more or less times than the other three tires, making the differential work harder to control the all wheel drive on all four wheels. The Subaru service rep told me, and I believe him, that someone at a tire store should have known this and should have told me. BUT ... neither the rep behind the counter and the technician who put on the new tire mentioned anything about this being a potential issue. I went from feeling elated the day I visited OK Tire in Hinton, thinking that they had provided me a great service and helped me out in a tough time. A week later I determined that they had in fact taken complete advantage of me and wasted my money. I'm now left with a couple -- expensive -- options. I can buy three brand new winter tires to match the one I purchased from OK Tire, so all my winter tires match again. Or, I can try to find one winter tire that matches the other three I have left. The first option is expensive. The second option might still be a problem if the new single tire has a different tread depth than the existing three tires. I have heard there are some places that can use a machine to 'wear' a new tire to match the other three, but I'm not sure if Subaru has such machinery. BOTH options require me to purchase at least one more new winter tire. And BOTH options mean that the tire I purchased from OK Tire is useless. Since I visited my Subaru dealer, I sent an email to OK Tire's head office. It's been 5 days and they have not responded. I also tried to contact the OK Tire in Hinton again, and received no response. My recommendation ... do not have anything to do with OK Tire, especially the store in Hinton.

OK tire is the only place I will take my vehicles for repairs or maintenance in town. Always get amazing, friendly service. I got a flat on my van a few months ago and they fixed it very quickly for no charge. The first time I ever dealt with them I had an issue with my card and they were incredibly easy to deal with it for being someone they had never met before. I usually deal with Ryan and John in the front and they are both hilarious and friendly. Highly recommend bringing your vehicles here for anything you need!

On Thursday, I used the website to schedule an appointment for tire change over. I also requested to purchase 4 new tires, which were listed as in stock at the Salish road location. The confirmation email stated that I would receive a phone call within the next 24 hours to confirm the appointment. On Monday, the day I had requested the appointment for, I called the Salish road location stating that I had requested an appointment through the website, but never received confirmation. I was told that, "at this time of year, we don't check emails." The employee then did check through the emails and confirmed that they had received my appointment request, but couldn't accomodate my time. He advised that he could do it later in the day. I then asked if the price quote for the purchase of the 4 new tires was correct. He advised me that they don't have those tires in stock and would have to order them in. I responded that the website stated that you had the tires in stock at your location. To which the employee told me that they don't "work with the website. It's a head office thing.". In the day and age of people using online methods for price comparison, a business should be expected to use its website. Otherwise, update it or take it down.

I have gotten tire and oil changes here before and each time I have dealt with the mechanics who have been extremely kind and helpful. I called last Thursday to book an appointment for a tire swap, I was told to bring it in any time on Tuesday and that I didn't need a specific appointment. When I showed up on Tuesday I was greeted by someone who I presume is the owner. When I told him I was there for my tire swap he rudely told me I had called the wrong place because he is the only one who answers the phones and he wouldn't have told me to just come by (I checked my call history and it showed that I called the Lindsay OK Tire). He made no offer or attempt to book me for another appointment but did condescendingly refer me to Wilson's Tire (I contacted them and they were very helpful and kind).There seem to be a disconnect between management and service and the customer experience is largely dependant upon who you talk to.

Horrible. Ordered tires and booked an appointment for 2 weeks later. Dropped off my truck, which I need for work daily, and arranged a ride to work. Got a call 2 hrs later saying they didn't have my tires yet. Went back 2 weeks later when I had an opportunity to be without my truck and after an hour and a half they told me they couldn't get the lug nuts off and I would have to rebook for another day. Went in because of a Flat tire. Was forced to put my spare on and bring it in. I had a feeling it may have been the valve stem. Not only did they fix the valve stem, they also but my tire back on all in 30 mins free of charge! Stating that the part was cheap and it was quick labor. Haven't gone back since going three years ago. They assured me of a $80 manufactures rebate was still on but soon after I had these guys to install my new GoodYears, I only received a $40 rebate. I called them back and they refused to help me and the father and son team were rude and belligerent to me when I went to the store. I got my many from them before leaving and have since bought 3 other sets of tires off two other dealers also sending friends, and today my son, elsewhere. Their smoke and mirrors side show cost them thousands..

I have had no end of trouble getting someone to balance tires for our vehicle properly. I learned that Fielding's have a road force balancer, so decided to give them a try. I have now had 2 sets of tires installed & balanced by them with zero issues. Both times the work was completed when promised, & there is no vibration at all from the wheels & tires. If you want quality tire service in Kingston, this is the place to come as far as I am concerned.

I was in town visiting my mother who was in the hospital in Kingston, needed an oil change, so went here. The guy who helped me at the counter was nice. Two mechanics mocked me when they didn't think I could hear them because I asked them to replace a 'front headlight'. Apparently it's just called a 'headlight'. If that's how you treat customers when you think you are talking behind their back, that's very unprofessional and disrespectful.

I did my steering wheel alignment there. It was a minor problem. The only thing they did was change the toe from right to left. I brought the car for the second time and they made it even worse. Now my steering wheel is pulling to the sides. It’s not centered at all. I paid more than 120 for nothing.

Very friendly staffs. I just had to stop because my sensor giving me low pressure alarm and staff took care of things. Interesting enough they could have said I needed to change the sensors but they recommend to keep using until it really fails. It's kind of attitude that keeps costumers coming back.

Bought new Kuhmo studded tires (215/65 r16) from them and had them mounted on dedicated rims, first season (used for 4 months), no problems. Next season (Another 4 months of use) we began to get random flats. Then last year we put them back on the van and they began to get flats non stop. Three flat repairs on the same tire? OK just scratched their heads. I took the van to another tire shop and they showed me what was going on: the studs installed by OK were too long, and were now piercing the inside of the tire! We paid 100 bucks to have all the studs ripped out, then I took the worst tire (Which had ten holes in it and was no longer repairable) to OK tire. The manager said he'd look into it. Despite calling three times and getting the run-around we got NO SATISFACTION. Thanks for nothing. Talking to other guys at work they all have their stories about OK Tire. Buyer Beware, OK tire is not OK.

My car recently left me stranded on a road trip from out of Province. With my clutch gone and in close proximity to OK tire I had no other options. My car is a highly modified sports car with a 2 stage racing clutch, so I had some reservations at first. After dealing with OK Tire I now realize how lucky I was. Will, the manager or owner(?), was polite, professional, and understanding of my predicament. He quickly was able to settle my anxiety by having a very solid and knowledgeable Mechanic, Brian, troubleshoot my issue. After quickly diagnosing my issue and ordering parts I was driven to the airport to catch a quick plane home. I returned the following week, by plane, to pick up my car with no issues. This is a fine establishment with great management and qualified mechanics. Quality work at fair and transparent pricing. Thank you Will, Thank you Brian. They managed to pull a miracle after some awful towing company (reliable towing merritt) changed my tire but did not torque the lugnuts properly one of my wheel bolts snapped off and my whole wheel almost fell off on the highway OK tire managed to find me a new wheel bolt and a tire for my Toyota crown (japanese import) which was an obscure size. They fixed it for me in record time and I was back on the road and stress free before noon ! Amazing service shout out to Alex for going above and beyond for me. Would definitely do business with them over and over ! 11/10

Very knowledgeable and excellent service. Not just a tire store they can service any vehicle. They were my mechanic of choice with my 2007 BMW. They were able to diagnose and repair some fairly major and unusual issues with different sensors (SZL module) and seized steering column to name a few. I highly recommend them.
