Very friendly, very honest and efficient. Had an appointment for muffler replacement and asked at the last minute if they could change my tires over in the same visit ... no problem! Was in and out in about 90 minutes, which involved some extensive exhaust work. Competitive pricing - in fact the tire changeover was much less than what I'd paid elsewhere. After Quebec safety inspection, i was told that i have to fix my exhaust system.I took my car to Speedy they told me that i have to replace catalyst resonator and the pipe, and it will cost my 1000$. On the paperwork from the safety inspection was clearly said that my catalyst and resonator have passed, there was an exhaust leak at the front pipe, which another shop fixed for me after only 20 min working on my car and charged me 50$. I would never go back to Speedy again!!!

Fantastic customer service and very Speedy but... even More expensive than the Toyota dealership down the street would have charged, with Less done :-( Jacques kindly took me over the phone even though they were busy and said he would fit me in between appointments. I was very happy as I called him due to the positive Google reviews. He also kindly drove me the 1.2 km( 3min) to (and from) Galleries de Hull where I waited which was much appreciated as I am on crutches and there is snow in parking lots etc. This way he could hear the grinding noise of my brakes where the pad was worn off which was my concern. There had been no signs of brake problems, no pulsing, etc.on any of the wheels before I noticed this 2 days earlier. After an hour or so he called and said the pad was worn to metal as suspected as was another barely and the other 2 were paper thin so I needed all pads of course plus all rotors changed and told me the price; which seemed high but...I did it. More expensive rotors with rust inhibiting properties were installed so should be better than OEM apparently. Unfortunately, they did not adjust the emergency brake tension (which is a bit loose) at the same time which is standard practice at the Toyota dealership because to do it requires removing the rear brakes which is expensive if you don't have to replace the rotors. So, in the end, I paid $1287.23!!(tax incl) for pads plus rotors ( at 105k Km.) At the Toyota dealership, with pads and if all rotors required changing and not just resurfacing, I would have paid $1158(tax incl) which includes the emergency brake service and OEM parts. So, about 10% more but they took me right away whereas I would have had to wait several days to get into the Toyota dealership and would have ground down my brakes even further perhaps causing more damage. The best strategy, as Jacques told me, is to have your brakes checked and serviced annually so that a little maintenance can save a bigger cost down the road!

One was installed a bit too long and did it again at no cost, the same day. What exceptional service. They are understandable and very patient, which many mechanics lack. They measured my tips with a tape measure to ensure accuracy, only to show you their attention to detail. Price side, they spent almost 2.5 hours on my car charging me only $ 130 which is wonderful. Ils sont compréhensibles et très patients, ce qui manque à beaucoup de mécaniciens. Ils ont mesuré mes tips avec un tape à mesurer pour s'assurer de l'exactitude, seulement pour vous montrer leur soucis du détail. Côté prix, ils ont passé près de 2,5 heures sur ma voiture pour me charger seulement 130$, ce qui est magnifique. Je recommande ce garage sans aucun doute, ils savent ce qu'ils font et sont tous très gentils. Je suis très satisfait de leur travail sur mon muffler!

Phoned at 1:00 PM for an appointment. In at 3:00pm, out by 4:15 pm, everything fixed at a reasonable price. Friendly manager and mechanics, also knowlegable about Audi's. Showed me issues that dealer needs to look at. My go to place from now on for all muffler related problems.

These guys do great work. I needed to get the radiator replaced on my truck after a long time of having overheating issues and they got it done quickly. Unluckily for me, my water pump went out the very next day and Imad respectfully walked me through it. I've always loved working on my cars by myself but i'll definetly pay these guys another visit the next time i need something done that's out of my reach.

After their inspection, they call me back to tell me that my catalyst is pierced and that it should be changed, and ideally the resonator also changed. All this for the modest sum of ... $ 2000. There is the less expensive option with parts that are not original for $ 1000 ... Wow, what a bargain ......... Anyway, I'm in shock. My car is 12 years old and 100,000 km. Already, this problem seems suspicious to me (Honda is normally reliable) and the prices are exorbitant even assuming that this is the problem. So I decided to go and look elsewhere to get a second diagnosis (at the Canadian Tire) .... What a surprise, the CT mechanic told me that it is simply the cap on the oil tank that had not been delivered. In this case, oil flowed all over the engine and around (hence the smell in the car) ... He told me that it was immediately visible when lifting the hood (by in other words, Speedy DIDN'T EVEN OPEN MY HOOD, just look under the car ... great champions of mechanics!). In short, besides cleaning the oil and my belt which is now to be changed given the oil leak above, EVERYTHING IS GOOD. I get out of there with a car that runs well, odorless and with a new belt (which was due anyway) ... for the sum of $ 250 while Speedy was charging me $ 2000 for a non-existent problem and which in addition would not solve the current problem in any way. Tell you how I felt cheated by them ... unless it was sheer incompetence .... In any case, avoid a lot of trouble, don't even go. I wasted $ 35 on their "inspection" which was not worth 3 cents and it is already way too much. (Original) À ÉVITER!!!! Si j'avais pu donner 0 étoiles, je l'aurais fait. J'y suis allé pcq ca sentait l'essence dans l'habitacle de mon véhicule. Après leur inspection, ils me rappellent pour m'annoncer que mon catalyseur est percé et qu'il faudrait le changer, et idéalement changer le résonateur aussi. Tout cela pour la modique somme de...2000$. Il y a l'option moins dispendieuse avec pièces qui ne sont pas d'origine pour $1000...Wow, quelle aubaine.........Bref, je suis sous le choc. Mon auto a 12 ans et 100 000 km. Déjà, ce problème me semble louche (Honda c'est du fiable normalement) et les prix sont exorbitants même à supposer que c'est bien là le problème. Je décide donc d'aller voir ailleurs pour obtenir un 2e diagnostic (au Canadian Tire)....Quelle surprise, le mécano du CT me dit que c'est simplement le bouchon sur le réservoir d'huile qui n'avait pas été remis. En l'occurrence, de l'huile a coulé un peu partout sur le moteur et aux alentours (de là l'odeur dans l'auto)...Il me dit que ca se voyait tout de suite en soulevant le capot (en d'autres termes, Speedy N'A MEME PAS OUVERT MON CAPOT, juste regarder sous l'auto...de grands champions de la mécanique!). Bref, outre le nettoyage de l'huile et ma courroie qui est maintenant à changer vu la fuite d'huile dessus TOUT EST BEAU. J'en sors de là avec une auto qui fonctionne bien, sans odeur et avec une nouvelle courroie (qui était due de toute façon)...pour la somme de $250 alors que Speedy me chargeait $2000 pour un problème inexistant et qui en plus n'aurait en rien régler le problème actuel. Vous dire comment je me suis sentie flouée par eux...à moins que ce ne soit que pure incompétence....Dans tous les cas, évitez-vous bien des ennuis, n'y aller même pas. J'ai gaspillé 35$ pour leur "inspection" qui ne valait pas 3 cents et c'est déjà beaucoup trop.

They told me that it was impossible to do because the steering shaft was not correctly placed whereas in Monsieur Muffler they did alignment with steering shaft problem and the result was catastrophic. Speedy charged me 45$ for the time which I was not too happy about, but that's how auto service chains work.

I will not be returning. They told me my control arms were in bad shape one Saturday. I asked for a second opinion from my local mechanic and he said they were fine and just needed a little greasing. This was a real surprise because Speedy Auto was very convincing.

When I had no choice but to bring my old car in for brake repairs urgently, the mechanic, Imad, kept his garage open LATE just for me! He was very friendly and thorough and willing to explain everything to me in a trustworthy way. The job was pricy (as it is anywhere nowadays) but he used great parts and, like I said, kept his shop open late just to help me out. I have to agree with what others are saying here. I have used their services a number of times now over the past four years. They are capable honest straight shooters who will give you a proper diagnosis of your problem and provide a quality repair. I have yet to use them for an exhaust repair, but for suspension, bearings and brake work they have been A1.
