Bought a brand new Toyota 4runner straight off the lot this month that has two areas of complete paint removal down to the steel within two weeks of purchase. This is an absolutely unacceptable paint defect from Toyota and the dealership has little support after you purchase their vehicles. Service department says it is uncommon for that to happen but there's nothing they can do except fill it in with a paint pen as it is small dime sized and they can't do anything about it. So you're not going to look further into the root cause and flag this to Toyota Corporate to see if there was an issue with painting, handling, etc? How can it be a fluke to have two completely separate paint defects on the vehicle within a couple weeks of in town driving? How will this vehicle fair when it actually goes off road as it was designed to do so and what will Toyota do to ensure the rest of the paint doesn't just flake off within the year? We were expecting Toyota's impeccable quality when we purchased this vehicle and it is sad to say that vehicles worth half the price of this one do not have issues like this and better management when it is clearly a defect with the vehicle.

Service department told me my transmission would need to be replaced, quoted me $5000-7700. Got a second opinion from another shop and it turns out the noise is coming from the tires. They quoted me $2600+tax for the used transmission from an auto wrecker. The auto wrecker in surrey quoted me $1100+tax (and I'm sure they would have gotten a better price than I was quoted). Wanted to charge me $90 for an oil change when the oil is barely above the full line on the dip stick. Don't get your vehicle serviced here they will rob you blind.

If I can give a zero, I would. This location is unreliable and they like to make empty promises, to which they have the audacity to say "that's not my problem" when trying to work on that promise. I was with a family friend and we were both left in shock as this was highly unprofessional behaviour and it made us both very upset. Apparently a promise given by word means nothing to them so do not trust the employees here as this involved more than one employee. I'm very disappointed in this management and I will never be taking my business here again.

This place is no better than buying a car from a lot on kingsway or Surrey. Was sold a van last year. Told it was a manager’s demo. I sold my van recently and found out it was not a manager’s demo, but a customer lease return. Lying dealership. Vehicle was super dirty at delivery. I found make up, socks, and was missing floor mats.

I am really shocked to see the high rating this Dealership has received. Though looking at most of the recent reviewers, they mostly have 1-2 total reviews, so not sure whether they are legitimate. My experience with OpemRoad is hands down the worst customer service experience I have ever had. Let me set the stage, I walked into this dealership and paid full price for a Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro (their most expensive Tacoma). I didn’t require any test drives, barter or try and get them to reduce the price at all. This was literally the easiest sale possible. The problems started after I left the dealership. I ordered the truck in March 2021 and was advised that I should expect it to arrive at the end of May. I made some plans for July based on being told I’ll have the truck by June, but by the second week of June, I still hadn’t heard anything. After several calls, I finally got an update from the sales team that delivery of my truck has been delayed and I will have it in mid to late June. The sales staff took no ownership for not following up and weren’t apologetic, I told them about my plans and they agreed to keep me updated on the status. Well July arrived and I still didn’t have a truck, and once again no one reached out to provide an update. I call them again, no apology or ownership of the error, but I am able to learn the truck has now been delayed to mid July. Unfortunately, this meant I had to rent a vehicle to follow through with my plans. I was finally able to pickup the truck last week, and again received no apologies or offers to make up for the bad service. Staff were friendly during the transaction process (why wouldn’t they be, I was handing over 68K cash), but then they started giving me incorrect information. The salesman tells me that I don’t really need to break in the engine, he says I should just avoid cruise control. Meanwhile the owners manual says to avoid hard breaking for the first few hundred KM, to avoid towing and several other recommendations to ensure long term health of the vehicle. He also had no idea how to properly shift the vehicle into 4 wheel drive; I have never dealt with sales staff that have so little knowledge of the product they are selling. Worse, rather than being honest and saying they weren’t sure about my questions, they made stuff up and provided WRONG information that may have resulted in damage to my new truck. Insult to injury, as I’m about to leave, they pull me inside to chat with the Manager and hand me some cheap bag as my “free gift”. I love my truck, but credit for that goes to corporate. This dealership needs to really look at how they treat their customers if they want repeat business. I won’t be returning to OpenRoad for any of the servicing for my truck. Nor will I purchase any future vehicles through them.

Singh (Pawandeep Mann) is hands down the best salesman i've dealt with for anything... All the other staff there were great too. Tiffany, and Kim were awesome to deal with, financing lady was great, there are too many people over there who were awesome. We came to test drive a truck late Sunday afternoon, their service or car hop dude, was awesome. They're all real and genuine people. I'm now the proud owner of a 2020 Trd Off Road premium. I ordered a brand new 2022 Toyota 4RUNNER trd pro in June 2021. It was an easy sale so the sales person didn't have too much work to do. The vehicle finally arrived on November 7th which was 1 month after expected. Not terribe. I ended up dealing with an AMAZING woman named Jenn Friesen. I would recommend her 10x out of 10. She was so great to deal with. Very helpful and knowledgeable. She was able to put me into a demo for the last week that I had to return my lease and wait for my 4runner. That was above and beyond in my mind. Once I picked up my vehicle I was a bit disappointed that the extras I had ordered weren't thereand the initial sales man wasn't able to tell me why. He went over the vehicle in a basic way because he maybe wasn't sure of how it all worked which suprised me . I think if you're selling me something you should know the answer to all of my questions or be able to get them. JEN once again took over and was able to clarify and make me smile again. Also a shout out to Helen in finance. She was also such a pleasure to deal with. Smooth and quick at her job and all around kind. Overall my experience was pretty great with only a few bumps.

A few weeks ago, I booked an appointment for an oil change on my 2016 Toyota 4Runner. It took 3 1/2 hours for an oil change. I get it, it’s Covid and all, but 3 1/2 hours seems a bit excessive. They threw in the complementary wash, but left it soaking wet sitting in the sun. I’m pretty particular with my vehicles and hate water spots on black paint. I asked if it could be dried and thankfully they were able to. Kuhlea (spelling?) was awesome and went the extra mile to assist. Great service. Thanks!
