I had a pretty good experience at this place both times I went. Decent price for an oil change and because they have a carwash you get a free one with the purchase of the oil change. I pay extra to get the best car wash though which is fine as it's only a part of the full price. They were quick and showed me the dipstick as well as told me how many litres were used. Paid less than $70 for my oil change and my carwash extra fee.

Headed out of town and remembered seeing this little shop on the side of the HWY 1 in Hope. Stopped in this past Friday for a quick oil change, on my way out of town, and these guys had me fixed up and back on the road in 10minutes! Might have even been faster. I have NEVER had a shop that quick. not even the ones that claim to be a 10 minute oil change. The staff were incredibly friendly, not pushy about anything at all (a very nice treat compared to other lube shops) and we all shared a laugh about how I felt like they were my pit crew they were working so fast! Also, for the first time EVER, I heard the guy under the hood say "Oh he changed his filter recently" and so didn't try to sell me a new one. That has NEVER happened to me before. Most shops push hard to replace parts that really don't need to be changed yet. Honesty is a rare find in these shops. I live in Surrey, and I'd consider driving out to Hope for my oil changes if they can keep this up. I'll definitely try to time them for when I pass through on future trips. Free car wash never hurts either! Keep up the killer service!

Absolutely despicable service from an absolutely despicable man. I witnessed the owner trying to up-sell a young lady in the bay next to mine on a ‘power steering flush’. The car she was driving was brand new and I could tell that this particular model was equipped with electric power steering. I was appalled. After the lady had declined multiple times with a teary eyed face; The owner was visibly irate and had yelled multiple obscenities at her. If you want to be yelled at to go back to the kitchen, then I would highly recommend visiting this establishment. However, the level of professionalism displayed by the owner and his employees has left me visibly shook. I will never be coming back here again...

My family and I were travelling through and somehow had our windshield washer fluid freeze up in our electric car. No one seemed to have time for us (not the mechanic shops, dealerships, or part supply shops), except for the guy at Chevron and the people at Mobil 1. Very nice facility and great service. They went above and beyond. Heated us up, drained our fluid and got us on our way! Thanks!

I am new to this town and today I mistakenly turn down the back alley behind the place not knowing it was a one way nor did I see a sign stating this in the midst of this I pulled to the side to allow two vehicles to pass by that were heading to the car wash . I needed to reverse a half a foot so I could continue down the lane. A older man came out of the shop waving his hands at me . I rolled down my window and he yelled that there was a car behind me I knew there was and could see and told him that he then yelled at me this is why it’s a one way f**king lane! I was shocked and said I didn’t know and apologized he turned around and stormed back into the shop. What the man didn’t know is that I was coming around to park in the lot to ask about getting some fluids change but since he cussed me out for a honest mistake I decided I will not ever bring my service there nor the car wash that I have been using for the last two months and the few times I had been here. Considering this is a place of business you would think he could have been a little more professional and simply explained to me that it was a one way or to have directed me out. I could understand if I was racing down the lane or something like that but it was an honest mistake and made me feel quite terrible . And where is your class yelling at a women like that!

Was driving through the area and realized I was due for an oil change while stopping for gas. I pulled in, and an old small man began talking down to me and telling me I’m lucky to have him work on my car?!! He then insulted my car by calling it a “crappy old rustbucket” After telling him that was incredibly unprofessional and rude, he just looked at me and said “stop it sweet heart” before looking me up and down and biting his lip! At this point I assumed he was just a senile old worker, but it turned out he was the owner. After paying $100 for a simple oil change that they up sold me on with services I didn’t request, I left feeling violated by the way he acted and by the services they up sold me on. If you have an ounce of respect for yourself don’t go here. Avoid like the coronavirus is putting it lightly.

Stopped into car wash to wand wash off 2 trucks and 4 muddy rain suits. Employee explained they didn’t have a wand wash. We then asked if there were any other wand wash locations in Hope as we could not use the automatic wash to clean our rain suits. Employee (maybe owner?) stated, “I don’t give recommendations. You’re a big boy. You can figure it out on your own.” Obviously the convo turned awkward very quickly. We were shocked. We then left quietly. Employee was very rude and condescending. Have never witnessed such behaviour. Will never be going there again.

My experience with the oil change was about as expected. However, shortly after I had the hood up I was given a slip from the Sun instrument that gave my battery voltage as 9.44 saying I had a bad cell. It was recommended I replace my battery. I chose not to do so at the time. When I got home I checked with my own multi-meter and got a voltage of 12.88. I then checked the voltage on another meter and got the same result. You should check and see if your battery checking instrument is accurately set or if you employees are using it correctly. Incorrect advice could have resulted in my buying a battery from them that I did not really need at the time.
