Always my #1 go-to for Tire swaps, Change overs, Flat tires, etc. They’re extremely efficient - always has one car after another already in the next available bay. I’m very impressed and pleased. Especially today when there’s a LINEUP of people but I was next in no-time. (Not even 30 minutes later...) 110% I would go here for all my tire needs. Great service, in and out in roughly about 10 min. I had a leak around the seal with the rims, they replaced the valve and put a sealant around it. Price is more than fair. Most important thing is they are still open during the pandemic.

I priced out various mechanics and tire shops for a new set of tires and Mountain Tire trumped every single one. I'm not talking by just a few dollars either. Unlike other shops, you pay for the tires. Period. Installation is included and you're not hit with any additional fees or price markup. The guys there are great too. I mentioned that I wanted to keep one of the tires they were removing as a spare so they pulled my extra rim out of my trunk, threw the tire on, and then mounted it to the back of my Jeep for me at no extra charge. Just genuinely good guys providing great work and awesome customer service. I highly recommend Mountain Tire.

What a great place. I blew out a tire, took my vehicle to mountain tire and I was very pleased. They were excellent . They had the exact same tire and I pulled my vehicle right in. It took 15 min. and I was on my way. They are pleasant and experienced and it cost me 60.00 bucks. I can’t say anything but great things about them. A1 service. You got tire problems go there.

Super unimpressed. I kindly asked the mechanic to ensure that masks were worn inside my car. After fixing my tire, the mechanic said he wasn’t able to put the spare back on (underneath the car) as he couldn’t come in my car without a mask on. He handed me a tire iron and offered me a few moments in the bay to put it on myself before I left. I’m disheartened to see businesses that won’t take measures to protect the health of their customers, much less provide proper customer service.

Can not say thank you enough, went in there to fix one of my tires that was loosing air at the rim and they not only fix that one they also fixed another tire on the spot and made sure to remove my spare and put both fixed tires on, best part was how fast I was in and out and my children and I didn't even have to get out of the car. I wanted to recognize and whole-heartedly endorse the fine work of the folks at Mountain Tire in Hamilton, Ontario. I can't recall the last time I met such professional, courteous and honest automotive technicians. I went in for a tire repair (which two large automotive retailers refused to perform, yet which was promptly completed by Mountain Tire's experts in less than 30 minutes), but I will return in the fall for a brand new set of tires. All at very competitive prices. Two thumbs up, way up to the REAL tire experts!!

Been visiting these guys for 5 years now. Have had tire punctures on multiple occasions and each time it was a perfect repair. They swap my off rim tires every season and never had a single hiccup. Great prices, top notch service and workmanship. If you need anything tire related these are your guys. It can get crazy busy during peak season (for good reason) since they don't do appointments but it's well worth the wait.

"Top notch" service. Chaps were very fast, knowledgeable and professional. Facilities were also very clean and organised. I appreciate that wait times may vary according to seasons and times of day, but I was in an out within 30 mins. after they balanced, rotated all tires and replaced a leaky TPM sensor in one of the Tires and all at an affordable price. Mountain Tire has provided consistently excellent service. I’ve gone here for both winter and summer tires and a patch job. I’ve also brought other people here to get other services done. Every time I come here they are incredibly fast and efficient. As a woman trying to get car work done I never feel like they’re trying to take advantage or price gouge me. I’ve often called around to get quotes on tires or tire related services and without fail they are the best price. I cannot recommend them highly enough, you will never be disappointed. Most pleasant experience I have had at any automotive shop. Fast service ( able to get me a new tire that matched my other tires in hours). Also, honest. Upon finding out that a nail had severely wrecked my one tire, I thought I would have to replace both rear tires, but they let me know that my tires were still good and that I just needed the one. Thank you for your integrity. I will be back. Nice guys too. They also put my spare on for me so I could drive around while they put the new tire on the rim. No extra charge.

This morning I arrived at Mountain Tire on Concession Street just after 7:00 a.m. I was #11 in line. After three hours spent waiting, I was told to get the car & leave very rudely. They had broken off numerous lug nuts on three of the four rims. Two winter tires were installed. The others could not be removed. They told me to get out & take the car somewhere else to be repaired. (There was no charge.) Please note that I have been a customer with them for over 25 years & they are the ones who switched the tires over in the spring. The tires have not been touched by anyone else. I am extremely disappointed in their service. As I write this review, my car is being serviced elsewhere. This issue was resolved by the owner, Mike, reimbursing me the full amount of the repairs needed to remedy the problem.

I recently had a low pressure warning on my Ford Edge - I picked up a nail when I stopped for coffee. I pulled into Mountain Tire and was quickly greeted. To my pleasant surprise, the guy who greeted (didn't catch his name, but he had an awesome beard!) me told me "no problem" and got to work. To make a long story short, I was in and out in under 15 minutes with a tire that no longer leaked. You can't beat that kind of service!

Visited couple of times and had a great experience. My mechanic told me that my front tyres need to be changed and i called “Mountain Tires” they told me they have 2 singles. I visited them to go take a look and after talking with them he first suggest that not to put the singles as my car as it was an AWD. He even inspected my tyres and figured out that the tyres still left lots of threads and was okay for another year. I would say the tyres shope is decent and not making customer to buy tyres from them as others do. Very gentle and helpful advice from the shope. Even the price is so less that you cant get a better deal in hamilton. All other places where i visited have got less thread tyres for double the price. I would recommend MOUNTAIN TIRES for everyone.

He called at 11, tires in, come on over. 20 minutes later, tires done and ready to rock n' roll. Mountain Tire, is a best kept secret of Hamiltonians! The staff have always been very helpful in the past. Today I stood inside the office and waited for someone to help me for at least 10 minutes before anyone came into the office to help us. The guy came in from outside sat behind the desk and started doing some paperwork , another customer came in behind me and was asked right away what he needed, as the gentleman answered him another person walked in and he immediately asked this gentleman what he wanted as he started to reply I turned around and left. These guys are dishonest butchers. Took car to get new tires (decent price) but they failed to say they damaged to of my rims (chipped paint) either taking the old tires off or putting the new ones on. Went back to the shop when I noticed and Brian the technician with no people skills was trying to tell me it's curb rash when you can clearly see its not! I asked him to speak to the owner and he tells me he is but if you read other reviews apparently it's some guy Mike. They didn't want to own up because the rim repairs would cost almost as much as the tires.

Mountain Tire is great reminder of why I prefer to support local, small businesses. Quick, professional and even priced better than the chain shops. The young couple ahead of me in line had come in with a flat tire. They got fixed up practically for free. You could see the relief and gratitude all over their faces, as they tried to pay more and were waved away. I bought a set of 4 Cooper Tires here, manufactured in Ohio. I’m very happy with the tires and the service. I will come back here again.

If my comment helps you please leave a like ???? Mountain Tire is always quick service and the guys are easy to deal with. If you are looking for winter tires I would suggest you don't leave it until the first snow fall. Buy your winters September/October because MT will be really busy come first snow fall. MT has won multiple consumers voice awards including 2019. There isn't much else to say other than I would totally suggest this place to others.

The guys here are awesome! Insread of waiting 3 weeks to get new tires for our trailer from the dealership, they had the tires next day. It took them 30 minutes to swap out all four! And we probably paid less than would have paid at the RV dealership. We are heading back to get winter tires for the truck in a few months.
