these guys deserve 10 stars, I hit a curb today around 4pm i called at least 6 places including the big places that are open until 9pm no on could replace my tire and I have to leave for the airport at 7am, he was the last place I called they told me they close at 6 it's like 5:30 and the tow truck hasn't even arrived. I mentioned how stressed I was that I need to figure out a way to get to the airport. he called me back at like 6;30 and said hey we are going to fix your tire. You have no idea how damn Happy I was. Once I got there with an uber, they were super nice and friendly. you guys rock thank you and you can guarantee i'll send referrals.. Oh and the price was affordable !!! Merry Christmas !

Went to Good to Go on a recommendation even though it's a 30 minute drive for me. Called ahead to order rims and gave $100 deposit. They said the rims would be in in a couple of days and they would call to let me know. Never received a call or a voicemail. Ended up calling back myself and found out they came in. So I came the next day and they were already booked up for the day. Was told to come back tomorrow. Hubby came right at opening time and waited an hour in line and was told they'd call when they were ready to take him in. While he was there he made a note to the person at the desk that the lug nut key was missing. When he was called back he immediately returned to the store and waited another 2 hours. They didnt know about the missing lug nut key (I guess someone forgot to pass along the message?) and said they wouldn't be able to take the tires off. He would need to have them removed somewhere else and then return to have the tires changed. Needless to say, after waiting hours on hold and hours in store, the thought of coming back and waiting around for another full day just to finish the job was unreasonable to us. So we took the tires and rims and left. Still paid full price even though absolutely no work was done for us. I'm sure this place is great and the experience we had is likely more to do with the busyness of the season than anything else, but busy season doesn't mean customer service goes out the window. We wasted a lot of time and spent a lot of money and we're thankful for an incredible mechanic (Carluke Automotive) who quickly changed the tires for us even though he was swamped too, because he saw our old tires were in bad shape. I'm disappointed in our experience and that's not a feeling you want to have after paying close to $600 ???? For that reason alone, I would have a hard time recommending this company and can't see myself coming back when I need summer tires next spring.

If you want to deal with a shop that is honest and knows their stuff, then this is the place to go. The staff is very knowledgeable and accommodating. I had an issue with the lock nuts (key wouldn’t work) on my CX-5 and the Mazda dealership quoted me $284+tax and another shop quoted me $100+tax but I took my car to these guys and they did the job for free. I ended up paying $30+tax to remove the lock nuts plus get my winter tires put on. They did the work in 30mins compared to other shops that wanted me to leave the car at their shop the entire day because they didn’t know how to remove the lock nuts. This just proves how knowledgeable the staff is at this place. Special recognition to Frank, Marcel, and Will for their honesty. They could have ripped me off like the other shops if they wanted to but charged me a fair price instead. I would recommend anyone to visit this shop as I am pretty sure you will be satisfied with your visit, just like how I was.

I was from out of town and was hit with a snowstorm and didn't have winter tires on my vehicle I started calling around for winter tires and I found "good to go tires" they found tires quickly for me I drop my son off at his basketball tournament I went over there they took me in right away because they knew I had to get back to my son for when the game was done because we had to drive home and they put the new tires on and we got home safe and sound!! Unlike some other used tire shops in the area, Good to Go maintains an accurate computer inventory of what they actually have in stock in used tires, and will give you all of the information you need over the phone. I got very annoyed with some other used tire shops who said oh yes, we have plenty in that size, come down and look, and then, when you actually get there, they have nothing. In addition, the owner of Good to Go was extremely accommodating, and went out of his way to locate an unusual type and size of tire for me. I would choose Good to Go Tire for used tires over any of the other shops in Hamilton or Burlington.

Today I called these guys looking for a good deal on tires for my trailer which are a special tire that costs about $150 each plus install at Canadian Tire, so would have been about $400 all said an done. These guys charged $58 each including install for tires that looked pretty much good as new. Was happy with the price and the service.

This place sold me used tires that had Xs marked on them with chalk. I did not get them installed here so i cannot use the warranty that they sell with their used tires. I was unaware of the X marks and their significance but when i got them installed by my mechanic a month after purchasing them, he informed me that in the trade, the X means that the tires are no good and were supposed to be thrown out. There was also a tag which was stapled to the tire which is not normal practice for tires (unless you did not care for them as they were headed for the dump anyway). The tread on the tires was also below 40% and in their ad they had stated that all their used tires are 70% and up. I have been duped and they can keep their $170 they ripped off of me but im putting this here for future customers to be aware and not trust these people to do good business. Cheers

EDIT: I've updated my review to give them more stars. My tire had gone flat for the third time, so I went back to inform them of what happened, and asked if they could take a look at it. My car was also making noise when I was driving it (I got my tires changed and balanced), so I also asked them to check the back tires to see if they were balanced properly as well. Turns out they had a bad batch of something from a supplier when they changing the tires which is why my tire went flat. They were very nice about it, fixed the issue, and also fixed the issue with the balancing of the back tires (they were off by a bit). The whole process took maybe 15 min? It didn't take too long. They were very pleasant about the whole thing. So, I think they deserve more stars. If a mistake was made /something goes wrong because of them, they're willing to fix it without argument. ???????? ----- (OLD REVIEW) I went there for the first time (earlier this week). I think that was also my last. Recently went there to change over my all seasons to my snow tires. I work in the evenings and had asked them how long it would take. They said 20 min to half an hour. I got there, and it took them about 2 hours. I was quite unimpressed, especially because I had work to do. They brought my car to the front when they were finally finished. I had to ask them about my all seasons, and that's when they brought them out. Sure, that could have been a lapse in memory, but it also comes off as quite suspicious to someone who's coming there for the first time. Had me wondering if they were planning to keep my tires. I haven't really had a flat before (my tires aren't that old, and I don't travel much). But how convenient that after I get my tires done by them, I have a flat tire... ???? TL;DR: I don't think I'll be going back. 2 stars because the job got finished. But it took a LONG time, it seemed suspicious that they forgot to give me my all seasons until I asked, and after their service I conveniently have a flat tire. ????????

Only minor issue is parking your car in the shop from the back alley is quite challenging, especially in a pickup truck. The alley and garage entrances are extremely narrow. I had very high hopes for this place and left very unhappy. I normally go to Cotsco for all my tire needs but with winter having lasted so long this year, I was unable to make an appointment with them to have my snows swapped for my summers. I called several places in the Waterdown/Hamilton area and was disappointed in the fact that the majority pf places were charging double or more for the same service that Costco provides. I finally ended up calling Good to Go Tire for a price. When asking about prices, i had two very specific questions: do you take appointments - no, first come first serve (ok fine, they are open on Saturdays, I can go right when they open and not have to worry about it interfering with work). Do you offer tire changes if the tires are NOT on rims - yes we do. How much would that cost - $40.00 + tax. I attended Go to Go Tire and dropped my vehicle off with eight tires (four on the car and four in the trunk to be changed) and four rims (on the car). I was able to get in no problem and was told it would take approximately 30 minutes to complete the tire change. I left to go attend to other matters and approximately 45 minutes later received a telephone call. Caller ID showed that it was Good to Go Tire so I answered anticipating to be told my car was ready for pick up. When I answered the call, no one spoke on the other end. I said "hello" at least four times without a single sound coming from the other end of the line. I then proceeded to go back to Good to Go to pick up my vehicle. My key was returned to me and I was told my invoice total of $101. In shock I tell the woman working there that I had been quoted $40+tax over the phone only two days prior. She said that whoever I spoke to "must have misheard" me because tire swap not on rims is "more labour" than a straight rim to rim swap. I was very frustrated with having been quoted a price and then having to pay more than double that price. Also, the technician who worked on my car noted that there was a bulge in one of my passenger side (did not specify whether it was front or rear) tires and that he had thrown the tire away for me without having asked first whether or not I would want the tire back first. I find this extremely poor practise. How am I to know whether or not the tire did in fact have a bulge in it? Now I am left with three winter tires, how useful... Will not be returning at any point and will not be recommending them to anyone. Response to the owner: since I don't get notifications about responses to reviews, I assume that my tire is gone to the scrap yard. However, I will bestow my good faith upon you and trust that the tire truly is garbage. As for the price... I do find it reasonable to be paying $45 for the tires to be switched when they are not on rims because that is what I've paid for the past three years at Costco (2 tire change overs per year). I would be most grateful for a refund of $36 and thank you for your offer in an attempt to rectify the situation. I will be in around 5pm on May 9 to receive my refund. Thank you very much.

I bought my tires here and had it changed. The very next day, the driver side tire went flat. I had to ask hubby to change it to the spare. Immediately went back to the store and was told it was my valve which was perfectly okay before I brought it in. Had to get new valve and my tire sensors still keep going on and off since I had it change. More so, the new tires I bought from them were noisy. Good thing was that they were always listening but the issue was not solved. And I couldn't keep going back and forth!

If I could give this company 0 stars I would for one reason! I had my summer tires put on by them about 2 months ago and all of a sudden the front end of my car started shaking, took it to a shop and turns out ALL 4 TIRES Were about to FALL OFF, the mechanic couldn’t believe it!! This could’ve not only killed me (I’m 38 weeks pregnant) or my husband or someone else! Guy on the phone was quick to get rid of me. For used tires and installation almost 200 just for 2 tires kinda pricey when Hamilton has a lot of other places that do it for a cheaper price and you can negotiate the prices of the USED tires. Rather go elsewhere.

I made an appointment 2 weeks ago for April 19th @ 2pm. I got there at 1:55pm and waited until 2:55pm before they even took my car in. I overheard the gentleman ahead of me in line say he had his appointment rescheduled for the same time as mine even though I had already scheduled my appointment 2 weeks prior. i had my tires changed about 3 weeks ago and i had a really bad ball joint and wasnt informed of the problem so when i went to the garage i told him i had my tires changed and he said there is no way that a tire guy could not have known about it he said when he torqued the bolts they would have known so either they have guys not qualified to change a tire or are just arrogant enuff to inform there customers of the danger i could have died im not saying its your fault but maybe take a little more pride or care for you customers a little more will never use them again

I called them on Wednesday Dec27/17 to inquire about having 1 of their used tires installed on my vehicle after waking up to a flat cause by a puncture in the sidewall. My tire size is 205/50R17 which is kind of an uncommon size but popular in Mazda’s and some Fords. They said they had one in stock. Due to me being out of town I asked if I could make an appointment for Friday morning first thing. They told me they don’t take appointments only walk in. (Not a big deal). I asked because they only had one tire in that size to set it aside with my name on it. He replied that it wasn’t needed he could bet it will still be available. Today is Friday Dec29/17. I arrived at Good to Go Tire at 8:06am. They informed me that the tire I asked to have set aside was sold and they don’t have any replacements. I’m suppose to be on the road to Toronto by 10:30am for a family weekend. I’m extremely livid as now I’m hunting for a tire and delaying my morning.

This is my first year EVER to experience the whole 'switching out winters to summer' . (have owned a vehicle and been a driver for over 31 years, and always had seasonals) I brought my car to a rip off artist on Upper James near Twenty Rd, for a used set of winters, after seeing, what I thought, was a great offer. Terrible service. I was looking for a good used set of tires and when I called a coulpe days ago they said they had 2 in hamilton and 2 in Burlungton but they could have them the next day. Well the next day passed and no word from them so called on the third day at 10 am. I was told they are on the way from the Burlington store. So I show up 2 hours later and the tires are not there but ..he says he just got off the phone with the driver and he is right around the corner. I waited an extra hour and a half with no service or no explanation . I was given the run around and would never recommend this place. I called another local tire shop and got way better service and was looked after quickly and professionally. What a waste of time here. Horrible experience. Will never be back.

We had 2 tires that had flats, it was 5pm (1hr from closing) and they still had time to fix the tires. It doesn't matter if there is 1 or 10 people in the shop before closing they make sure you are taken care of . The employees are always friendly and helpful.
