Bought new tires from them and within a month one cracked. They wouldn't warranty it and instead patched it. I brought the tire in off the car and it took an hour and a half to fix. What the hell is that. Even the guy upfront was rude. Interrupted me so much he got confused about what I wanted.

The guys at Franks were awesome!! Read a few reviews and most are positive. I, like everyone, called lots of places for pricing on new winter tires and steel rims. Frank's pricing for brand name tires was great, better than most. I ordered them the day before and went in the next morning to have them put on. Showed up and waited for an opening, in and out in less than an hour. Note: You do have to tell them if you want to store the tires being taken off, but I didn't need this. Staff were great. I would return when I need new tires for sure.

I like these guys and decent prices, but I can only give 3 stars because in 2 months I bought 2 complete sets of tires for both of our vehicles and both vehicles had improper balancing. The first set they gladly rebalanced, the second set I had taken the vehicle into the dealership because of a wobble and it was the dealer that found out about the other vehicles tires were out by one ounce in the balancing and it ended up costing me dealership prices to rebalance the front tires, I know if I had gone back to Franks they would have solved the problem but it was in the winter and it was their busy season and I just didn't have the time to wait. If it wasn't for the balancing issues I'd give them 5 stars. If you buy tires here go on the highway immediately and test out your balancing, if there is a problem they are customer oriented and will fix it right away.

Do not take any car you are fond of to these guys. Butcher shop. Untrained staff or uncaring staff who were rude and left my rims filthy. Some kid had trouble with a lug, so he used a sledge hammer to wack the socket on the lug, missed and just ruined my expensive rim. Filthy shop, rude and bad work. Owner should be ashamed.

Went in to have four brand new winter rims put on the tires i had on my vehicle, after i got home and got out of my vehicle i heard air leaking out around the rim of my RR tire so i drove back right away and told them, they fixed it right away and said that there was dirt and grit stuck inside preventing the bead to seal, so after that i was on the highway and noticed the truck felt weird while driving so i pulled over and noticed my LR tire was low so i grabbed the water bottle i had and poured some water around the rim and sure enough as soon as the water hit the spot you could hear the air leaking out but by that time they were closed for the holidays and my tire went completely flat so i had to change the tire on the side of the highway in slush and freezing cold temperatures because someone couldn't do there job right the first time.. After new years i went back and had them fix it yet once again the gentlemen at the desk came off as ignorant and said ''well all we did was put 4 rims on there can't be dirt stuck in there'' almost entitling that it was my fault, very unprofessional, worst experience i have ever had with a shop. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

My grandfather stores his tires with them. He did not change his tires from summer to winter last year as there was not so much snow and he doesn't drive as much anymore. Today he went hoping to get them changed but was told they were already full for the day (they don't do appointments, first come first serve). He advised them that I will be coming to pick up the tires in about half an hour. When I arrived, they had not even started looking for them. After about 15 minutes, they said that they couldn't find them since they were moved from the regular spot since my grandpa didn't come and get them switched last year. They said that the "stock guy" will be coming in tomorrow and will find them then. I asked what would have happened if he was able to get in today, and was told that he would have been told to come back tomorrow. You would think that they would put in a little more effort and be more accommodating to seniors. Very disappointing.

What an awesome place. I had a flat and at first they were going to patch it for $30!! I thought that was fantastic enough but they soon determined I had driven on it while flat for too long to repair the tire but they found me the exact match of make model and size for my Volvo S60 with 18" rims! The best part is they installed it on my rim and balanced it all for $50!!! Only took them a couple of hours to do it all. Thanks again Frank's Tire, you saved the day!

I never had problems with used tires until I went to this place about 2 months ago. They sold me 4 tires. One of them blew on my way back from Montreal, costing me over $500 for a tow truck, hotel and new tire...ok it happens...but I was told by the guy who replaced the tire that I should get another one replaced because it had been repaired before and had a plug in it...this makes it 2 out of 4 that didn't even last more than 5,000 km! Good luck with their crap.

Great service & reasonable prices. This is the second time I've brought my vehicle in for a set of new tires. Called in to find proper sizing and was able to bring my car in within the hour for a new set. They have a clean waiting area with seats marked off for social distancing, so I was able to wait inside while they completed my vehicle. The shop attendee is friendly and knowledgeable, and they put my new tires on in about 45 mins-hour. They also offered to check the torque of the tires when they reach 50 kilometers as a courtesy. I highly recommend Frank's Tire!

They have great service and helped me out of a jam more than once. I've bought two sets of tires here and have been happy with them and the work done. They deal on your behalf with the tire companies as well and are an advocate for you if you need to submit a claim. Great place.

Great prices, quick service, tires always in stock or there the next day, no sales pitches, no pressure tactics, no added fees or service charges. The price they quote is the price you pay!! Not a fancy, "pretty" waiting area but I would rather save money on the tires then pay a place for a fancy TV and coffee machine by paying 50% more for the same service. We have been going for years and will keep coming back!

Horrible experience. I had a shredded tire and I'm assuming that when they jacked the car up it caught the inside of the fender and damaged my fender. When I complained he said something ridiculous like we dont jack the cars up by the bumper lol. Obviously not. I figured after him saying something like that theres no sense in trying to work something out for the damages in person. I even have photos of the tire and fender before I pulled inside their shop bay and afterwards.

They do not book appointments here. I work shifts and value my time, so this does not work for me. The taller of two main guys is very friendly. I've seen the other one lose his cool with customers kind of quick. There is a really nice kid who works in the back, he put my center caps on improperly -- dinged one with the rubber mallet and chipped another. I wasn't worried with that. The wheels never came off, so... two thumbs up. No frills shop and prices were fair. But I had to take my business elsewhere for convenience of appointments and similar pricing.

I got my winter tires from this shop. The best price I could find online, was $10 cheaper, but they had included balancing and mounting which made it the best option. I had an appointment and because of the traffic I was late. They did wait for me even it was the closing time.

Bought tires from this place and ended up not saving a dime because the "mechanic" that put the wheels back on the vehicle snapped the stud right off likely due to over-tightening with an impact gun. We were told they don't fix this type of damage and now we have to pay 150 to have a better shop repair the damage. Sales rep also didn't mention any prices until after the job was done. Beware of this place. Very unprofessional.

My tire blew on the highway in the middle of a snowstorm. I had it towed to my brother in law's company. They made a call to Frank's inquiring about a used tire to buy. They sent me over to pick it up and pay for it. When I got back, the mechanic said "How much did you pay for it?" I said "They charged me $40. why?" And he said "You got ripped off, the tire had a nail in it!!" So they had to patch it before they put it on. What crappy service! Buyers beware!!

Last year I purchased 4 Bridgestone Blizzaks, and just found out they are 9 years old! Franks Tire says “the age of the tire does not matter, only the mileage”. But Wheels.ca tire guy John Mahler says “Once the tires reach seven years from date of manufacture, I would change them, regardless of tread depth”. The British Rubber Manufacturers Association (BRMA) recommended practice issued June, 2001, states "BRMA members strongly recommend that unused tyres should not be put into service if they are over six years old and that all tires should be replaced ten years from the date of their manufacture." I can’t believe I drove on those tires with my family in the car in the winter time. Stay away from this joint.

Used this place for years, bought full sets of summer and winter tires there and stored my tires there....until they have no record of me storing my winter tires there this year, (2014). They tried to blame me...ie: I mast have gave the wrong license number. Must be all my fault because I could not locate the receipt. Even tried to buy a couple of tires from them and they said they were not accepting any more businss that day (3:15 pm). Funny thing was, they asked me to come down there at that time, so I took off from work to be there. Have to locate and score some tires elsewhere.

Frank's Tire put the wrong size tire on my rims and acted like it was my fault. Eventually they corrected the problem after endless phone calls and debating. It was a complete hassle and very difficult owner. Id say go elsewhere.

I went here initially to fix a flat they said it wouldn't be long was I wrong 2 hours wait and unorganized your his was my first time here I was warned by fellow co workers that dealt with this store they told me fav line to keep you there won't be long but never listen and was warned about the job they do I drove the car home from the store it didn't feel right I thought it was a mechanical problem now Took to a local mechanic next day and he rebalanced the wheel and said that's was the issue most shop will do this on a tire repair but not at Franks Now I have no problem I should of listen to others and read reviews My review flat was fixed and tire never balance ...... I guess that's extra I don't know I don't care But never again will I deal or advise anyone to deal with place

I had to buy A new pair of tires from someone else just so I could pass safety. Called early in the morning to see about getting 2 tires repaired and balanced. Had a nail in the winters and found a nail while switching to summers, so had to get a tire from both sets fixed. They said no problem and I dropped them off not long after. Called me when they were done, went to pick them up and put the one remaining summer tire on my truck (had the spare on while being repaired) did some running around and found I had a bad vibration that wasnt there before. Got out and looked at the tire/rim and noticed a large scratch very close to the bead. Went back to Frank's and told them the issues found after they "repaired" my tires. I was told balances arent done after a patch, we just re install the tire right back to where it was before. There is no way you can install the tire right back to where it was, but hey maybe he has some tire whispering gurus working there not to mention any change of weight on the inside of the tire. They balanced the tire adjusted wheel weights and then tried to ship me on my way. After asking what would be done about the scratch to the rim I was told it's barely noticable And that nothing would be done. Even after I pointed out the minimal amount of lube used. They dont seem to care about the job they do or the damages they cause. If your going to accept the job at least do it right

When RJ’s mobile ran a flat, I used my skills to strip a lug nut. That’s why I’m in the card industry, not tires. Thankfully Carmen at Frank’s Tire saved the day. Sent someone to me to inflate my flat so I could drive around the corner to their shop. Got the lug nut off, patched the leak, sold us on some snow tires for this winter at a great summer price. Must say I am very happy with the service and workmanship. Great shop. Trustworthy in my eyes. They even brought me in the back to inspect the process and take a look at some inner workings of the tire. I enjoyed that. I felt like I was in a class to redeem my man-card after stripping the lug nut. We are back on the road making deliveries, that’s the important thing. Repeat business 100%.
