I HIGHLY recommend checking this spot out. I've been needing a brake job for a while. Brought it to my old spot, and they gave me an estimate of $1600 for work they said needed to be done, which sounded high. Brought it to these folks, started to explain the situation, but never mentioned initial estimate cost, just the work needed to be done. Crossed my fingers and just hoped that I'd get a better deal at this spot. Dropped it off in the morning, got a call a few hours later, saying it was ready for pickup. $900 was the price. They did all the necessary work, and it sure is nice having brakes again. Also having a new mechanic shop where I feel I can trust them, is a great feeling. They were friendly, fast, and I will be heading there again the next time I need any auto servicing done. I'll also be telling anyone that needs a mechanic to try this Timberlea Tire out.

Rob and the team at Timberlea Tire are very easy and efficient to deal with. Plus the best part is good reasonable pricing. Today, which is Saturday and they are closing any minute, I am trying to get my winter tires put on and needed them added to new rims. They know snow is coming tomorrow and also that I have been trying to get these done but had delays because of ordering new rims. So they told me to come in right away and they would put them on. This was awesome customer service because THEY ARE ABOUT TO CLOSE but still wanted to offer the service and help me out. My review is if you need service for your vehicle and are looking for quality work at reasonable prices with great customer service then these are your guys. They are very kind. However, the price is modest compared to other garages. But I went there for change tire and rims, alignment, etc check in my car. They are fixed the alignment after problem again go there repair. and they change tire after noise one more time go there they are fix that still noise i go to canadian tire they said " All wheel nuts problem just tighten" after it's sillent. and there he just put on machine on my car without even asking me how much I’ll be charged for it. I wasted time and money. don't trust them They're lazy and unprofessional. When you do repairs, you must visit at least twice with the same symptoms. And they get annoyed. I will not be return in the future.

Great group of people to deal with! I booked an appointment over the phone to swap out my winter tires and to get an oil change done. Before my appointment I thought I only needed two tires replaced and I told them the wrong size. Thankfully they had the proper tires in stock and were able to still get the job done. Jeff was very easy to talk to, friendly, answered my concerns and I never once felt pressured. The ladies at the front desk are awesome too! I had a flat, I was calling many places, including Timerlea tire. I missed them at first, and they actually called me back and fit me in the very next day, on a Saturday. Next day, the tow company I called was late getting the car there, I called Timberlea Tire to let them know. They said it was fine and not to worry about it. Finally, there was issues starting up the car once it got there; they got it going though, looked at the flat, changed over the tires and when I asked if they could change the oil as well, they were able to do that for me too. Timberlea Tire was very professional and accommodating, I will be going to Timberlea Tire for future work. Highly recommended.

The first time I went here, I called to see if I could drop my car off and they fit me in for a oil change and tire change over. They said no problem. 45 minutes later they called me back, they were done. Today, the day before we are to get our first snowfall, I called asked to get my winter tires on, they said they were booked. I asked if i could leave my car and hopefully they'd be able to get to them as I work close by and can leave it all day, they said sure. 15 minutes before I got off work, they called and said they were done! Disappointed with quality of service and how it was resolved. I've been using this shop for a couple years now and never had any major issues. I got an oil change and winter tires swapped 2 days before Christmas 2020. When I got into my car, there was grease everywhere, all over my door handle, steering wheel, and radio. I drove from Halifax directly to the valley after the tire change and upon arrival I realized that two of my tires had not been filled with air and were less than 5%. The shop was then closed for the holidays, so I had to deal with the matter myself. I called and left a message and the owner said I would be "taken care of" in the spring. He admitted fault and even let go of the employee who had been so careless. I just finally went in for my spring tire change and was given a measly $20 off my tire swap. I believe the service should have been rectified with a free tire swap. I will not be returning in the future.

They were behind schedule took two hours to put tires on rims and a change over. The tech working smoked up before getting into my car and working on it. I may go back but I would want a different tech.

These guys really helped me get out of a jam last week. I was just getting on the road for a vacation when I realized I had a leaking tire (from a nail) that was not going to be safe to take on the highway. Terrible service brought my vehicle by and it was taken longer then normal to do an alignment so they tried to only make me pay half and saying they did half the alignment and they were closing soon witch makes no sense so I mentioned it to him and he said he was dropping the vehicle and for me not to come back he doesnt want to deal with it and sent me on my way and for being a tire shop both of my tires had 23 pounds of pressure in them and they called for 35 arnt they supposed to know what goes into tires

They put on 4 tires for me November of last year, and performed an alignment. Today I was told I needed 4 new tires after less than 30k. The employee said that mileage for the tires they use is a lot. Low quality tires. Edit: These were all season tires. The response from the owner shows he did not take the time to even discuss this with staff before defending.

Nice group of people, very easy to deal with. I'm always early for my appointment and they always try to accommodate me earlier than scheduled. Small parking lot, though. Pleasant conversation with staff while waiting, and I personally witnessed the gentleman at the desk explain to a lady what was wrong with her Jeep and that it wasn't yet bad enough require replacement. She was very pleased and announced she was expecting a bill of $1000. I really appreciate a mechanic that doesn't take advantage of customers who don't know about cars.

Woke up to a tire going flat. While waiting for CAA to arrive to put air in it I phoned Timberlea tire to see if they could patch it. The told me to bring it up and they would squeeze me in. They were very busy when I got there but they had the tire patched and my car ready within 45 minutes. Very happy with the service. Very polite on the phone also.

When I first went in to get my tires changed the guys explained that my vavlve stems had problems due to the aluminium caps being stuck. They promptly booked me in for the following week to do the change because I had to find out if I needed sensors. In the end they were able to replace the stems and change the tires, the staff was very friendly and quick to greet you. Would highly recommend Timberlea Tire!

Most of the times I've had a great experience here. Owner is great guy too. But this time one of the guys failed my mvi for something that wasnt broken. I paid for that and came back 10 days later after getting a second opinion and not replacing anything. Another guy passed it with no problems. Thats all great as mistakes happen. But I found the guy at the counter a little unpleasant and unapologetic for their mistake, causing me a waste of time, money and running around for no fault of mine. Not to mention, if i had agreed to the job the first time, I would have paid for something that was not neccessary. However they did waive off another mvi charge on my insistence. Edit: Thank you. But showing some concern, an acknowlegment of the mistake and an apology would have sufficed.

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. Rude staff, Unbelievably unfair with prices not to mention verbally abusive. my girlfriend went to this business to have 4 tires mounted on new wheels. little did she know that one of the four wheels was a different offset then the other 3 (bought second hand) of course without me looking i wouldn't have known that either. instead of going good on a bad situation and trying to explain what was wrong they proceeded to swear and disrespect her. they also wanted to charge her an additional 60$ plus taxes for the reinstall of her summers, which makes absolutely no sense. What blows my mind the most is grown men yelling and swearing at a 20 year old girl, what kind of business is that? absolutely disrespectful and a disgrace. i recommend this business to no one, i will never spend another cent here!

I use to love this place up until a week ago.I was having issues with my brakes squealing so they replaced them with new ones.I was still hearing the squeal, so I took it back to them and I was told it was because I had metallic rotors. I took it to another mechanic and they said that they didnt even lubricate the brakes.I have lost all faith with this company and will no longer take my cars there.

I came to this place in order to get one of the tires changed. I have not received such a bad service in years! The place was crowded, so it was a very long wait. At the end, I just took the tire home and changed it myself! Furthermore, at the end I got a different price - not the one I was offered at the beginning, but additional $50. The owner said it was his mistake. Interestingly enough, after I bought the tires, I have learned that the price for the same tires in Canadian Tire is cheaper. I knew I am doing a mistake for buying from a small place... I learned my lesson. Now I totally agree to pay extra $20 for going to the official dealer or even pay less in Canadian Tire or Costco. Hope my review helps.

I dropped my vehicle off in the evening to get the back wheels replaced. I called the next day to see how it was coming and I had to remind the staff why my vehicle was there. The next day I called to see how the work was coming and I was told it was complete. When I went to pick up the vehicle I explained my disappointment and added that it should not be my responsibility to be making these calls. The staff member claimed he told me the vehicle would be ready to pick up the day it was dropped off. If that were true why did I have to call in and remind them? He chose to lie to my face rather than admit mistakes were made.

Today I went there for AC check in my car. My husband has been going there and he used to told me that these guys are so great for their work and cheap in price also. But when it wasn’t possible for my husband to go there so I went. When I went there Alex who was the guy there he checked my Airconditioner and it was working properly when he checked( as my AC was not working day before and was not blowing cool air). But when I went there he put on machine on my car without even asking me how much I’ll be charged for it. As he knew I’m a new driver he took me very lightly and at the end he just told me everything is just perfect nothing is wrong with the car. Even though when I first went there and he checked and there was no problem still he put the machine on and charged me 70$. I felt like he made me fool as he knew that I’m a new driver. I will not suggest anyone to go there. Very bad service.

The best of the best. All staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. I dealt with Alex and Jeff. They explain what needs to be done clearly so that you know exactly what is going to be done. The price they charged was very reasonable for the work that they did and was also done quickly. I recently had my breaks and inspection done here. Unfortunately one of the back rotors was defective, however when I brought it back to Canadian Tire to have them replace the rotor they make numerous comments about how good the break job was. It can be tough to find a good automotive place that you can trust will do good work. I'll be recommending Timberlea Tire to everyone going forward.

Don't trust this guy & his BS. mechanic. police been called many times to this place since he moved in . pay little bit more at any tire shop . they create mechanical problems to charge people more . my experience . they cut my intake hose which result engine run shaky start rough & engine light on . but i was lucky i figure this out soon my friend took engine cover off. & he cut my emergency brake line off & told me need to replace all brake system in my car . Cost roughly $1493 give & take . I called the police , owner promise police to solve this without raise the problem , 20 -30 min later my vehicle was run normal & emergency brake was performing , & new mvi sticker was labeled on windshield . charge me for mvi only $ 40.00

Had my studded tires on and need them change. They didn't have any appointments until Friday. They told me to bring it in first thing and they will see what they can do. Beyond the call of duty got me in and out in about a hour with no appointment and they were packed. Coming here from now on highly recommend .

Went to to mount summer tires, i left there on my way home the car keeps pulling right. I checked they did not put the tire in pairs for front and rear as i have two newer tires than the other two ( though i informed them and they told me not to worry they check them already) when i went back i discovered that also none of the tires have the right pressure. One has plus six the other minus 4. The snobby careless guy was like try it for now and let us know lol if tire mounting needs three visits i am not letting you know. Anyway ileft and on my way home the car is pulling but to the left side now lol

I was deaf customer who couldn't speak well. I was reccomend by Dan other automotive shop who went out of business. So I gave this place chance and went to get my MVI sticker renews. They told me everything is good and I need replace my tires which it are understandable. So I paid for it and they told me to come back after I replace my tires which I did in two weeks. I came back, they told me they couldn't pass MVI because I need new break line(couldn't read his write which I tried ask that person write again but ignored??) Turn out after 25 mins of waiting, They told me that I need wheeler bearing where they could've told me two weeks ago after MVI inspections was done. Now I waited 3 hours and still going on for them to finish repair wheeler bearing. Sloppy work environments shop. I wouldn't reccomend it.

Got a flat tire while staying at the Coastal Inn. My hubby drove up from the valley to bring the dummy tire do we could get mine fixed. Saw this shop across from the hotel, so he took the flat over there. They filled it with air and tested it for a leak or tare. Turns out there was none...????‍♀️. So we put it back on my car and drive over and asked if they’d tighten the lugs for the two hour drive back to the valley. They did! They did all of this and didn’t charge us a cent! Very rare this day and age. It has not gone unnoticed. I’ve told EVERYONE about you. Thank you for your kindness.
