My truck dealership advised I had a piece of metal in my tire and it was unrepairable. Wanted to price out a new tire and advised it would be best to purchase a second tire for the other side to keep things in balance??? Told them to put air in the tire and I literally drove across the road to Ted's. In 2 minutes they has my truck on the hoist and another minute later they brought the sliver of metal to me. Advised they would put a plug in the tire and I would be good to go. $46 vs $300+, you do the math. Friendly knowledgeable service, Ted's will get all my future business.

Come on... These guys are fantastic. Old timey customer service. 22 minutes from the time I entered the shop to the time I left. I called late in the afternoon with a small emergency, looking for new winter tires. (My old tires no longer held air due to cracking) They quickly found an appropriate size / make for my vehicle and arranged to mount them at the end of the day. 4 tires off, 4 tires on, balanced and installed. Bob's your uncle... Did I mention 22minutes for this. Check these guys out!

I had a fantastic experience with Ted's Tire Discounter. It started with a great web experience from being able to drill down to specific tire options, to booking a service and communicating my needs. This was followed up with some email correspondence with Kurt which was all timely and meeting Travis on my scheduled service day. Honestly the whole process and team was highly professional. I got recommended some great tires that are coincidentally over 30 bucks cheaper than the same tire at Canadian Tire which I didn't even realize until I just checked. Great shop with a great team. Oh and I have mention meeting Frank the shop cat who is just the nicest little dude. Although I hear Franks not very kind to any mice in and around the shop.

I have been coming here for about 7-8 years now and never had an issue. They always try to fit you in even when their busy, if they can, and always fix any problems I have with my rims or tires. Ted the owner is beyond caring and with his sons/staff they make an amazing team of customer focus. I don't get that BS feeling from them when they are suggesting a tire change or something I should look into, it's very comfortable. I always suggest this place to my friends and family. Bought winter tires and steel wheels to go with them. Got an appointment right away and it took only 30 minutes to get my tires installed. My complaint is that after I got home I realized they had installed my old wheels in my new tires! The store did not install the new wheels even though I paid for it. The new wheels were still sitting at the shop! If I did not find out about this situation I would have lost $400. The next day I called to ask what happened. The person who picked up the phone was irritated and said in a rude tone that "I can do whatever I want". However, they acknowledged that it was a mistake and let me come to the shop to fix it right away for free and install the new wheels I had paid for. I asked for a small reimbursement or in store credit as it is damaging to the tires to keep changing the wheels but I did not receive any.

Enlisted Ted's assistance after a tire on my car was leaking air with solid recommendations backing their workmanship and the experience was rather pleasant and painless. The culprit of the leak, a cracked rim was identified and rectified through outsourcing and while the job did take a couple of days, I was kept in the loop by Kurt who is otherworldly funny and just an awesome guy to interact with. He made the whole ordeal seem much less painful. Thanks Ted's Tire for saving the wonderful rim on my BMW and especially Kurt for interjecting much needed joviality in an otherwise sordid state of affairs! Highly recommended!

They also phoned and emailed with questions to confirm my tire choice. Overall some excellent service and if you're in the market for summer tires, you won't be disappointed!

Is there a 6 star option? Fantastic service and expertise – would definitely recommend this shop and the staff that made the experience excellent! I called a few other tire/wheel shops who couldn’t help me because my car requires specific depth wheels because of the sport brakes and calipers. They set me up with gorgeous winter rims, recommended a set of quality tires - and I even purchased new rims for my wife’s car while I was there. Over the years, my wife and I have purchased tires and rims from this place and we have had our tires changed and services at this place as we like to shop local. However they hosed me this week. I needed 4 lock nuts taken off my wheels, 1 per tire. It took them about 30 seconds to do and they charged me almost 80$. They didn't change the tires. I didn't buy anything. They simply removed 4 wheel nuts. After speaking to the manager he wouldn't do anything on the price. Too bad, my wife and I will find another local shop or will will take our business to Costco going forward. Any shop that charges almost 80$ to take off 4 nuts is straight up robbery. Will never go back to Ted's Tires

Pretty good. I called for an appointment and came in when they opened the next day. Fast, courteous service and reasonable price. Had 3 tires repaired, wheel balance and rotation. I was outa there in under an hour. When I started to drive I heard a noise, took it back and they fixed it right way. A wheel weight was slightly too thick, touching each revolution. I would highly recommend this place for tire service.

This shop doesn't think about safety of the driver. I bought after market wheels which needed hub rings so they can fit properly and won't cause vibration at high speed, so what happen, when I called in to complaint and the idiot said my car doesn't need one if I want the Rings have to pay for them. The Rings shouldn't be extra and must always install when the rims not fitted. Stay away from this shop, beware!

I just had a tire repair performed at the shop. The prices and service are spot on! Unfortunately for the poor chap doing the repair I had used slime as a temporary repair measure. Understandably they had charged me more for cleaning out the tire. So with that being said, make the guys day a bit easier and don't use slime, just take the tire to the shop in the first place and have the repair done properly.

Came into this shop to fix a vibration on my truck and got charged $25 per tire for balancing and they charged me an extra $20 for the weights alone!!!!.....Not too sure how many places charge $138 for wheel balancing that did'nt even fix the problem!!!.....Driving down the highway was like going for a ride in a blender. Anyways, Found some Joe Blow shop in Cambridge and they fixed it for $80...It was still missing weights on my 2 front wheels.Taught me something!!!

The service I received at Ted's Tire Discount was amazing. Their friendly staff work very efficiently and fast to get you in and out in a timely manner. They helped me find the right winter tires for my vehicle that were good quality at an affordable price. They also store your winter tires for a very small fee, which is a genius idea, seeing as I have no space at home. I would absolutely recommend Ted's Tire to anyone I know and I have. Travis was extremely helpful informative friendly and returned my calls promptly with great options and reasonable pricing. The tires and rims came in on time the service was done professionally the price was as quoted and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend teds Tire to anyone. Took car in , on short notice. Nail in tire that other shop said couldn't be fixed due to the type of tire. Ted's tire dispelled that myth and the service was in and out within a half hour (again short notice, on a walk in and they had other customers in). Best spot, will be recommending this place for all tire services, knowledgeable , professional and efficient.

Nice, friendly, helpful staff. I endorse this place. If you buy tires, avoid Toyo, though. I bought Toyo tires from here and one of them exploded about a month later. Side-wall blow out. Ted's Tires was nice about it and replaced the tire for free. Toyo, however, refused to even cover it on their warranty. Based on googling around, this isn't a unique situation when it comes to Toyo tires. Apparently Toyo is fine with making tires that explode and thus create dangerous driving situations. Just thought I'd take this opportunity (as I do any chance I get) to rant against Toyo. I'd rather drive on a road where as few other people as possible are using Toyo tires. For my own safety as well as that of others. Anyway. You should go to Ted's Tires. They'll take care of you. Just don't buy Toyo tires. From anywhere. Ever.

They are honest and actually listen to the customer unlike some of the big box stores that just want to get you in and out and don’t even solve the problem sometimes.
