Had a punctured tire and called on Kal tire next door who was full and highly recommend me to take my car servicing here. The experience was well beyond expectations and better yet was the little price. I had tire repair and oil change which was swift and well below brand dealership prices. They walked me through my cars engine warning light problems and enlightened me with the required services, problems my car is to be facing should I leave it unattended too long. Top marks for their knowledge of my cars future servicing needs.

Drove in with an almost flat tire. I was warned the tire might have to be replaced and worried about how to be sure that was necessary, but within 30 minutes my tire was repaired and I was on my way!!! (I had actually planned to go to Kal Tire but stopped at the Midas because when I phoned Kal was told they would need to keep my car all day!) As a female, very happy with the integrity, efficiency and quality provided by these Midas guys! Highly recommend them!

Going by the good reviews on Google I called them up yesterday and talked to Chris about my squeaking brakes. He was able to fit me into the next day early and informed me that I actually had 40% of my pads left. They adjusted a caliper and re-serviced the surfaces for $53, much cheaper than what their competitors were quoting. I will be coming back to them for their value, honesty and quick service.

I find car things very stressful, so when my vehicle started making a noise from hell I was worried...called Midas for an appointment and got in no problem. It was a $25 fix, out of there in 20 minutes and everybody was so kind and pleasant, Jesse especially. Will definitely recommend and come again!

I have had Chris service my vehicles multiple times and specifically request him anytime I bring my vehicle in. This past spring I had one issue after another and Chris was awesome, explaining and showing what was wrong and how it needed to be repaired and if it could wait. This was a brake job and I was charged $70 for parts than available in nearby store and $47 for service than the other Midas stores charge. That’s ridiculous. I did ask them check price on the Napa Canada website and was said OK but when I went to pay, there was no price match. Despite asking repeatedly, I was denied to match price and was charged almost $70 more than what was available in nearby shop. This is complete cheating. They should have denied that they won’t match any prices and I would have denied the job. I have been customer of this store for more than 2 years and have recommended to many in past but after this incident, I am gonna ask everyone to avoid using this store at all. Furthermore, Since, I had faith on them that they will not overcharge me for anything, So, I never bothered to get service quote from other Midas shop but now when I got quote from another Midas shop for same job, it is $47 less in labor than these guys. That's ridiculous difference in labor rate. That's total of $70+$47+Taxes = 131.04 Fraud. This store is a total fraud store and cheaters. ****************NOT RECOMMENDED****************

Not a person to leave a negative review but, 3 years ago I brought a vehicle in for new shocks and got charged 2 hrs additional shop rate because the mechanic broke his drill bit in the shock bolt and it was much more difficult now to drill out. After much discussion I ended up paying the bill even though I did not agree with the charge ( I should not be responsible for human error) Recently called in to verify that they could do custom exhaust bending. I was ensured that they could do custom bending in a timely manner. After not hearing back for a few hours I called in to check on status and they had the wrong number for me so they couldn't get ahold of me to tell me they wont work on any vehicle with any fluid leaks. This car is 63 years old.....it has a couple very small leaks. We then decided that the technician could bend the 2 - 20" pieces of pipe and I would install. 5 minutes later I get a phone call back stating that they cant bend custom exhaust pipe. This only came out after a handful of lies. Positive was they never charged me !

I made an appointment to bring my vehicle in for an oil change today. I showed up a few minutes early and was told it would be "about 2 hours". I returned back after two hours to find they hadn't even looked at it. I was told it would be "about another 30 min" to which I said no thanks and left. If your shop is THAT far behind you should know at drop off or at the very least call the customer BEFORE the two hour period and say it taking longer. Total waste of 2 hours of my time. Would not go back and would NOT recommend.

I first saw Midas because I needed them to look at my car for 2 new back tires. They then ordered them and scheduled me a few days later. Arrived on scheduled, that day After waiting for 2 hours for my car; they couldn’t find my ordered new tires, then they mentioned that they may of accidentally put my tires on another car??? Then they told me that they couldn’t do the job unless I ordered 4 tires, but I didn’t need 4 tires!!!! I was confused because the previous guy had looked at my tires and new that my front tires were still good but that I only needed 2 back tires. ?? because my 2 good front tires were discontinued they said that they wouldn’t do the job. Wow completely different scenario???? I was furious I waited 2 hours for nothing and went there twice in one week. Thinking these people new what they were doing. I will never go there again.

Made an appointment for a inspection at 9 am. The guy told me they couldn't give me a time when it would be done, said they were too busy, was very rude. Told me everywhere was like that, Icancelled my appointment, took my car down the street to gate Ave tire and auto, staff was friendly, took my car today, let me know how long it would be. This place really goes above and beyond. Been using Midas in Aldergrove for over 5 years. There is to many shops in this town. But through thick and thin this one retains more customers. They are so busy it’s insane. But I don’t mind waiting 15 minutes to talk to Scott or the boys. Because when I get their attention they treat me well and don’t rush me and fix what’s needs to be done. My experience with Midas has been good so far no complains and I'm very satisfy with their service. Worst company to deal with, went in to get a oil change and free tire rotation. Everything was good till they came out and they took my brakes off and showed me that I might need them serviced. I said no and the guy couldn’t put the brakes back on propley had to tow it to the dealer to get fixed. Midas has a policy there not aloud to touch brakes when doing a rotation or take them off without permission. I think I will take them to small claims or write to the bbb about this issue. Beware of the cheap deals they offer. Go to cdn tire or ur local auto mechanic that know how to work on cars/trucks.

Once they were closed but the owner was still there and he came out to the parking lot and fixed it there and did not charge me. The work done was good. Oil change. However- The Receptionist was way out of line with her comments. Because of that- we will never go back. Sarcastic comment while I was sitting in the 1 indoor waiting chair for car to be finished. Another customer attempts to comes In. There is already a customer inquiring at the desk and I am sitting with a mask on. Receptionist says -“Sign on door says 1 Person in the office” - so directs the 2nd fellow to wait outside. When it is his turn to enter, he sees me sitting there and looks for the receptionists ok to come in. Receptionist nods that’s it’s on and then says. “. Some people can’t read signs”. I heard it and thought how rude. We just paid $140 for their services. Was she referring to me or the gentleman she was serving? I asked - was that comment intended for Me? And she said No. I told her it was very Rude and she didn’t respond and obviously didn’t care. It’s not always about money but it is always about how you treat people. You failed to represent the business you work for. Will take our money elsewhere.

I wanted the exhaust system of my car verified. I had it replaced by MIDAS three years ago with a lifetime guarantee while I own the car. Now there is a smell of sulphur coming into my car. The Customer Service Representative arranged an appointment for the verification. The problem was solved (remove torn insulation around catalytic converter) and I am happy with the outcome. The CSR is to be commended for making a relatively anxious customer a happy one. I will recommend this MIDAS outlet to my friends. .

I wouldn’t waste your time going to this Midas. My Midas locking bolt has worn down and no longer connects with the Midas locking nuts. This means my tires are now impossible to remove, very helpful should I have a flat or want to change my brakes. Midas agent at the location told me she couldn’t help and said it wasn’t their product, even though it’s in a Midas bag. I’m now out $100 at Canadian Tire from the forced removal. Avoid this location, they don’t stand behind their product and I bet they don’t stand behind their work.

First off great customer service at front counter. And got me In crazy fast within 3 hours big ++ problem is I Just needed them to cut muffler off and put new one on ..was told it may stick out a bit as new one was a bit longer but not by much mabey about an inch ..after I was quoted 1000 + to make it fit exactly..I said I was fine with them just cutting old exhaust off and attaching new one instead of replacing all the back pipes ..5 mins later was told they don't have the tools to do that there .. very unsatisfied considering the local garage had no issue doing it .. guess it was to easy of a job for them not worth there time

I am writing in because I have had two wonderful experiences with Langley Midas. The first time I was with my child and I had a last minute problem. Cars were full in the bay but I took a chance walking in. Samantha came to my rescue and didn’t hesitate to come out, provide me advise and helped me on my way so quickly. Today I went in with the advise she provided hoping she would be there to help me again. She remembered me right away, came right out and again had me on the road. It is rare to have this kind of service and just another person who drops everything for your little problem. Now I know why her business card says “Samantha Superstar”. Over quoted me for a simple exhaust job that should've been no more than 1 hour of labour+supplies. Tried to charge me 2.5 hours of Labour, so their staff are either incompetent or crooked. Took my vehicle to park muffler and had the job completed for 1 hour labour+supplies as expected.

1/4 times I had a positive experience, nothing positive to say here so I won't say anything negative. Support a local mechanic business there are enough quality local owned businesses that will do much better work for the same price and provide much better customer service, support, and warranty. If something is on special like brakes or oil changes sure but just remember they are using the cheapest parts on the market (and probably charging you oem price) and it can cost you more in the long run or they can install it wrong like what happend to me twice. Installed an alternator in low idle mode (diode wires) was the last straw. Won't be returning

My wife was in Peterborough 3 hours from home and blew a power steering line. Had it towed to this location and paid for replacement. Half an hour after leaving her van overheated and broke down again. We found a misplaced hose clamp on a heater hose that had been removed and not reinstalled , as well the pressure tank lid for the cooling system was missing. So now, by this time, everyone is closed and $900 was the cost to tow it the other 2 1/2 hours home. Plus a friend had to go get her as due to Covid passengers aren't allowed in tow trucks. So it's impossible to recommend this business to anyone.

I had patronized this business for quite some time on a recommendation from my father. I decided to permanently take my business elsewhere when they attempted to charge me a ridiculous amount for installing my own parts, which I had already purchased. They also tried to claim the skid plate of my vehichle needed to be removed to access this particular part, which was not only untrue, as i have changed this part myself without, but they also wanted to add an additional 1.5 hours labour cost to do so. It's 4 bolts. Then tried to act like I was somehow getting a deal. I would suggest using a more reputable shop in the future.

The only good thing is the cheap oil change coupons and the free coffee. I came in for a oil change that included a free "fluid top up". Power steering fluid was checked off as in the green. I checked it in their parking lot right after the work was done, and the power steering fluid was completely empty and the reservoir dry. Of course the manager filled it up after I talked to him. Always check if the work was actually done. They tend to lie a lot. Also was quoted about 35% higher then the local garage on all work that needed to be done (other then the oil change.

Came in with a car I just bought, I didn't know when I needed an oil change so I'd thought to just see. They were super honest and said I don't need one! Filled up my washer fluid and let me leave with no charge. Really good guy, alot more honest than what I am used to with these type of chains.

I brought my '08 truck in to have the AC checked out as it was not working. After an hour I spoke to the AC guy who told me the refrigerant was down and just needed to be topped up. I asked if there were leaks and he said he checked and could find none. A week later it was not working. Took it to Midas in Halifax who did a dye test (thought they did that in F'ton), he removed the engine skid plate and found an obvious leak. Called back to F'ton to complain as I had to pay again for the same test in Hfx and asked for a full refund. I was offered a refund of the labor charges but not the material charges. I was told by the manager that she understood that they did not do the job but would not refund the cost of material. She said that I should be content with a partial refund. I gave up. Called Toyota and they will do the repairs for about $100 less. Should have gone there first.

Sent our Montana to have the brake pads replaced and was done well. The only problem was when we after driving the van for a day, we noticed a squeaking sound in the front wheel. When we have it checked to Midas they said it was the front tire almost falling off. I don't know if it is right to blame the almost loosened tire to them. But if it is at least they could have apologize to us for it. I've been driving the van with my 18mos daughter, my sister and her 2-yr old daughter! Just the thought of the tire falling off while they're with me is scary. And i didn't hear any apology from any of their staff. Their staff is not so friendly. It seems like as a customer, I'm an annoyance to them.

I got a quote from BCAA for a brake job to the tune of $1000. A friend told me calipers rarely wear out and was surprised that was what they were calling for on a vehicle with 100Kkms. You can end up feeling pressured to spend more, ripped off, confused or condescended. This is far from the case at Midas Ontario St. Ian is always incredibly thorough and professional, ensuring I understand the nature of any repairs that have been carried out. I purchased a set of tires from this Midas in 2020, less than a year later my drivers left became flat, replaced and didn’t have any problems. 4 months later the exact same tire is flat again. Technician found no punctures or reasons why it would be flat, but because I had driven on it and damaged the wall it needed to be replaced. I understood that and that was all fine. When I asked about a warranty or discount on the tire I had JUST had replaced, he said that because it was my fault the tire was damaged that it wasn’t covered. I said well the tire was flat before I started driving, I didn’t notice it, obviously the tire itself was defective or installed incorrectly. He responded with “ well I didn’t drive on it flat so it’s not my fault, we can’t get your tires in because of Covid so you basically need to buy a new set of winter tires.” I question that because that seems like a stretch, so he made a phone call and happened to have 1 tire that would fit in Belleville. Shocker. At this point I was extremely frustrated and feeling taken advantage of, I asked for them to bring my car out and I was going somewhere else with better service. I was texting my husband to tell him what was going on and didn’t see the mechanic come out with my key, and he just stood there holding it in front of me, no excuse me miss or your car is ready. Just rudely staring at me until I realized and then didn’t say anything. Would literally give this location zero stars if possible. Horrible horrible costumer service. The technicians name was Brad FYI.

I would say they do well. I brought my car I bought to be inspected, and later worked on. They gave me a warning before they begin work, I tell them the go ahead, and after I had my car back I was happy with them. Sure it costs a bit to get a tie-rod and brakes done. Now I know brakes are pretty cheap usually, so if I was advised any cost over what I paid for the car, I'd know something's not very realistic there. I say that everything was fair for me. I shouldn't have had a coffee before I went to look at what was going on. Of course there shouldn't be any play.. I get mechanically incompetent having their coffee for some reason. Anyways, decent place to go.

I start with positives, Staff are friendly and nice, they are fairly informative as well; as for the repairing they are fast paced. Which is always appreciated. I brought my car back in summer to check the engine code of P0011, the code indicated a problem with camshaft position sensor, so I bought the device myself but, the staff here told me that it is a problem of oil and the old (just recently added) oil should be removed and replaced by their oil. (Which didn’t make sense taking that the oil was new) so I paid $210 for that service. After a while and after the same code kept appearing and disappearing I took the car back to Midas, this time they told me they will replace the camshaft sensor which they didn’t do in first place, what disappointed me is that they didn’t accept the sensor I bought saying that it wasn’t the right one and they place their own and charged me $180 again this time. This was once my favourite mechanic but not anymore.

Went there last week for annual checkup. Despite the contactless process, I found it not hard to communicate with people there by phone. I dropped the car off in the late morning. Antonio called me around noon to let me know the condition of the car and the cost of the potential services. Then I got a message in the early afternoon saying I can pick up the car. I’m not a car person. But I do find my car so much smoother to drive after the service, and my friends confirmed that the price was fair. I think I’ll continue to go there for my regular car maintenances in the future.

Amazing service! Booked online for the same day afternoon and got a call almost immediately that they could fit me in earlier to try and resolve the laundry list of issues with my car. Drop off was a breeze (even with COVID). Turns out my car shouldn't have been working. Have you ever seen spark plugs without a ground? Me either, but my car had several. And two of the coils were completely shot. My day hit the fan just after dropping the car off, and they were super accommodating. Offered a variety of solutions at different price points. Highly recommend. Had previously taken the car to a shop attached to the dealership where I bought the car and they said NOTHING about the major issues with the car. Guys a Midas were great! Dishonest practice, the guy on the counter after coming to know of my circumstances only took undue advantage, when I had to drive to Toronto on a Friday evening and all other inspection workshops in the city were fully booked for a week. I needed safety inspection certificate for my car, they lied to me that a minimum of 3mm brake shoe thickness is required to pass the certificate, whereas the regulation in Ontario requires minimum of 1.6mm brake shoe thickness to pass the safety inspection. Realizing I had no choice at that moment, they over charged me $560, unnecessarily forcing me to replace my four brake shoes. I had to cancel my drive to Toronto and see Canadian Tire next day, following which I contacted my lawyer. When I went back to see these guys next day, they would force me to leave their premises, and when I confirmed of my intentions of taking legal action against them, they offered to replace my brake rotors free of cost. These people fearlessly lie on your face while looking for exploitation opportunities. This was the second time I have had a bad experience with Midas, I urge everyone to check with Canadian Tire, Dealers or any other private workshop, or else scrap your car then letting these guys touch it.

If you don't know the difference, one is built to handle winter terrain as opposed to not. Well, I confronted Mike about it and he told me he would make it right. When I showed up at my appointment he had two sets of tires waiting for me. He advised me about the tread and that the new tires I could choose from would be well-equipped for our needs in Saskatoon. Taking his advice, I picked the set of tires he said would accommodate my needs. Fast forward to today, I am changing my 5 star rating to 1 star because the tires I have, recommended by Mike, are not any better than the used tires I previously had on my car. I'm out $700 because this shop sold me terrible tires that slide just as bad as the old tires. I wish I had just went to a more knowledgable shop that either sold me what I asked for or at least was honest about the quality of tires I'm buying. I would not recommend this shop and advise others to look elsewhere for tires.

Well it's been quite a while since I've used this shop. Used to get my regular maintenance, alignment and change overs done until one incident. Just bought the car and was getting a once over. A problem they stated was potentially going to cost thousands of dollars and may not be worth fixing. Drove the car home and did some research over the next few days. Long story short, it cost me $200 in parts and 3 hours of my time to fix it myself. Had they looked into it just a tad bit more they could have found the problem and done the repair at a fraction of what they thought. Problem solved and the car is better than ever! I do miss the guys and always had great service from them. Maybe time to revisit.

I bought a used Ford Escape off Craigslist and the Air Conditioner wasn't working properly. Brought it down to Midas and they recharged it for free but it still wasn't working so we made another appointment to have some parts replaced - my AC works great now right in time for the big summer heat wave. Great service, I liked how they called when the parts were in and provided a quote with parts and labour before the work started. I'm pretty sure I spent less at Midas than I would if I had taken it to Ford. Also got an oil change and was pleasantly surprised to get a full, detailed inspection along with it - I will be coming back to get my sway bars looked at, this will be my go-to shop for future automotive needs. I just bought a 06 Honda Accord and the exhaust flange behind the second catalytic converter broke off. I called Midas and they had me booked in only 2 days later despite it being tire season! They gave me a very accutate quote and had it done in under an hour. Tremendous customer service and very friendly staff; the welds looked better than factory!! All in all I was satisfied beyond expectation and would reccomend to anyone!

We take our car to Doron's but I figured since I had a coupon for Midas, they could handle doing a simple oil change. It says Express Oil Changes, and had I been to Oil Changers before I figured it would only take 20 minutes tops. Our car went in soon after arrival at 1:15pm. It was suppose to cost a max of $37 as said on the coupon but I ended up having to pay for a broken oil filter cap that I know the employee had broken. I had the vehicle saftied by Doron Auto a week prior and know there was nothing broken or wrong with my car. Upon completion they tried to tell me I needed a new belt as well as break work and an allignment. I had an alignment done two weeks prior as well as new tires. I ended up paying Midas almost $80 for what should have been an easy oil change. I left there almost 2 hours later and went stright to Doron's where the owner called Midas and asked why they told me I needed an alignment? They told him they reccommend an alignment with all oil changes. Midas employees work off of commission. We will never take our vehicle there again .

I have been bringing my and my parents' vehicles here for years. They are knowledgeable, professional, efficient, and communicate readily with clients. They have always been great at communicating what needs to be done and give the details. On the latest visit, I asked them to test the battery as one of the technicians at the oil change place I went to said our battery needed to be changed. I took it here to get a second opinion and Midas said the output was a little below normal but not yet in need of replacement. They recommend we bring it back before winter to have it checked again. I highly recommend this shop for their honest and open communication and knowledgeable and skilled mechanics.

Amazing service! If you are looking for quick, quality, 5 star service, these guys are it. On my drive from BC my muffler came off. I Called the St.Albert Midas and they had me in by the same afternoon. They understood my car was old and on it's lasts legs and I was not wanting to put too much into it. They fixed up the needed piece plus pointed out(literally took me in the shop and showed me) my serpentine belt was cracked and could go any time(it was cracked almost all the way through). I have no doubt this would have broke on my journey home and could have caused me a lot of grief. They had the part there within 20 minutes and fixed up in no time. Thank you very much for being thorough and taking the time to explain the problems with my car and which were urgent and which were not. I will never go anywhere but Midas(wish I could use the same crew!! ).

The service i received at Midas Langley was excellent. I went in for squealing brakes (when i backed up in my Jeep,) and they inspected the brakes for free (got an appointment,) and then showed me the part (a pad was indented a bit) They proposed the solution of (sanding it to make it even, and cleaning it up) as well as the other brakes cleanup, service and lubrication. It was a much more economical measure, than a total replacement of pads - which would of cost me in the hundreds (they let me know i had alot of life left on the pads - 8mm to 10mm yet..) so not time. Cost was just around $140 taxes in> A great deal and i find them trustworthy and very helpful. I will be back. Keep up the great service, and particularly impressed with the front desk advisor.

Picked up a screw in my tire and Midas was near. Called and the took me in right away. The technician pulled the screw and fortunately it did not penetrate fully. They changed my brakes back, when I came back to tell them that the problem persisted they told me we had to change my brakes before that had been changed two months earlier. Je suis retourner voir mon ancien mécanicien qui avait changer mes freins avant et il m'a montré qu'ils avaient trop serré mes freins arrière ce qui a fait surchauffer mes freins avant. Quand je suis retourné chez Midas pour leur expliquer ce que le mécanicien m'avait dit, ils ont commencé a crier en disant que j'avais dis qu'ils ne savait pas faire leur travail et qu'ils étaient des menteurs ce que je n'ai jamais dis. Quand j'ai demandé de descendre ma voiture pour que je puisse m'en aller ils ont dit a leur mécanicien : Met les roues là dessus et sort ca au plus criss. Et je cite! Pire expérience de ma vie! Pour le prix qu'il charge il pourrait au moins offrir un bon service! P.s Bruno va suivre un cours de savoir vivre!

I had a rattling sound under my car and Dueck estimated it would be a crazy amount to fix it. My good friend suggested his friend at Midas would look at it and it'd be much cheaper than that. I left my car with them and when I returned they told me it was no charge at all. they found it was a small clip that had come loose. Required no work at all. Not only were they very nice people, they were obviously honest. That's not easy to find in that business. Had to get a pulley replaced, and because of circumstances, I was unable to do it on my own. Price was a little steep for the installation of a small plastic part (and new belt I suppose) but I didn't have much other option. After everything was done, I noticed my belt came off again, I returned, and the mechanic dropped what he was doing to see what happened. There wasn't much of a fix so he realigned it and sent me on my way, about 20 mins later I get a call and the mechanic had an idea to keep my belt aligned and asked to come back down. He tightened up my assembly free of charge and we've been good since. The dudes down there are super cool and would absolutely go there again. Thanks for thinking of me long after I had paid the initial bill.

Very dishonest and unethical. After paying for an oil change and tire rotation i noticed the tire rotation had not been done. When i called them on it, Chris, the manager and Wesley the mechanic insisted the tire rotation had been done. I pointed out that one of my wheels had a broken center cap and had not changed location and had obviously not been rotated. They then both lied to my face and claimed they had swapped center caps so the appearance of the vehicle matched to when i dropped it off. Are you kidding me? This is not how a return customer should be treated and is by far the worst customer service i have ever experienced.

I am not happy with their service. I went there for oil change and inspection. They called for replacing the rear left brake bulb and I accepted. A day after I had my care all the rear left bulbs went off, so I went to another shop and fund the Socket holder burned out because they replaced the bulb without checking the Socket! Again this is a day after their inspection. I noticed issue with my car (1999 Chevy Malibu ) I searched it on Youtuble and it was subjected to replace the PCV value . I opened my car and inspected the PCV valve and fund the Hose part of the PCV valve was completely damaged, so I bought the part for 6$ and replaced it myself . I Pied for Oil change and Inspection, but tell me what type of inspection this can be?

Took my car in expecting a $500 bill for a bunch of work I didn't need. Turns out that the problem was a couple of pins on my front callipers that needed replacing: $220 in the end. They were ready for me when I arrived, the service was prompt, and best of all they didn't try to sell me a full brake package and four new tires. I felt like I got value for money. Just had another great experience with Midas. Brought in my older model Mitsubishi SUV that was exhibiting a rattling sound and they provided a quick inexpensive fix. They give you what you need and not something that can cost much more. Honest service is appreciated.

I went in because I had a leaky Right Caliper. The advisor told me I need all new brakes just to drive it home and that I should scrap the car or pay 1000$ For the full set . I asked if he could put new brake pads on, fix the leak and refill the fluid So that I could get home .. he told me no because that’s dangerous .. Then proceeded to let me leave with no brakes at all, which was clearly a Safer option (sarcasm) . an hour of time wasted .. they try to sell you things you don’t need just like the other reviews before me said. *My advise is choose an independent shop where you get to talk directly to the mechanic

(Translated) Dishonest and expensive ($ 1500 for a exhaust system when a small part could have been welded / replaced. Take advantage with women and people who know little about it. 4 shocks to change on a rider 2005 with to barely 55,000 killos and they were still like new .. Radiator flush and they put a ratio that would freeze to -10c, a chance I checked otherwise the rad or the pipes / freeze plugs would break and it would give them other work .. I heard many other stories too. (Original) Malhonnêtes et cherrant (1500$ pour un système d'exhaust alors qu'une petite partie aurait pu être soudé/remplacé. En profite avec les femmes et les gens qui s'y connaisse peu. 4 shocks de changer sur un cavalier 2005 avec à peine 55000 killos et ils étaient encore comme neuf.. Flush de radiateur et ils ont mis un ratio qui aurait geler à -10c, une chance que j'ai vérifier sinon le rad ou les pipes/freeze plugs aurait briser et ça leur aurait donner d'autre boulot.. Our experience with Midas started out so positively. The mechanic looked at our car for free and tried to fix it on the spot without charging us. But he wasn't able to so we had to make an appt. When they called and said our car was ready they said it was an extra $250 over what they had quoted us. And turns out it wasn't actually ready until 2 days later. When we went into the shop hoping for an apology for the extra cost and delays we were met with condescension and lack of caring. A simple apology goes a long way. The mechanic and manager were nice but the person we dealt with most left a bad taste. We won't be going back.

Once again I find myself in need of an oil change, and thankfully I was home, and not on the road somewhere. This time mind you, I was informed my back breaks were ready to be replaced. Now let me say I have driven over 250,000 kms in the past 4 years. and my career takes me all over the continent. Bottom line is this is by far my favorite shop. Coming from a guy that sees a lot of operations all over North America. Truly a pleasure feeling like a part of the family!

It was good service. I get the oil change there every now and then. Though its a little costly venture yet its good in terms of the free tire roration you get and the courtesy check of your vehicle. Sometimes , they send you the discount coupons in mail too.

If I could give this place half a star I most certainly would. Little over 2 years ago I took my car to them to diagnose why my check engine light was on. They found the problem and "replaced" the sensor. 2 weeks later, light comes on again. Long and short they replaced the wrong sensor. Fast Forward to today when I took some tires in to be swapped, and in the process they stripped a stud and broke another one off. They would not do anything to compensate me for the damage caused, or to setup a day for them to repair the studs free of charge. This location is absolutely awful, its safe to say I will never return and continue to tell anyone I know of the poor service offered by them.

They helped us out in a pinch we broke down heading to the ferry and they took our car right before closing and even though they didn’t look at it that day they looked at it the next. We were coming back the following week so we were still able to catch the ferry we planned for (we almost missed it) because one of the mechanics had a few spare minutes and offered us a ride! The car was fixed up at a affordable price and ready for us to pick up when we arrived back the next week!

This rating is based on my previous visit alone, which is sad because my previous 3 visits I would rate at 5 Stars. Brought in winter tires on rims for a change over, and added an oil change and transmission fluid change. Was told it could be up to three hours long, ended up taking five. That is annoying but ok I'm a patient guy. I made the mistake of not confirming costs and details at the outset, in part because I've received outstanding service here before. Got the bill simply presented as a total from a guy who barely acknowledged my presence. Most places give you a breakdown right? So I asked to see it itemized, as it seemed high. He had the tire changeover wrong, charging me about 4x the cost, to switch without rims on both sets of tires. I had rims on both sets. So, I have no idea if this dude just tried to pull a fast one, tried to skip the itemized bill so I wouldn't notice, but I don't care, its the perception that he might have. Trust lost. Now I'm questioning if he actually changed my transmission fluid and replaced my oil filter.

They have really good customer service and were very honest. I scheduled an oil change because I had driven more than 3,000 kilometers since I had bought my car, but when I got there, they checked my car and said I didn't need an oil change yet. They also gave me a reasonable estimate for some winter tires.
