Service was friendly enough, but after I asked them to diagnose the problems, and specified what I wanted them to check, they quoted a price and fixed the easy-to-get-to stuff, and left the rest. When I brought the car back and told them it was still making the noise, and that they hadn’t fixed it, they told me it would be a few days before they could get to it, and it was more than double what they told me it would be. I won’t be back.

I recently took my car in to have a broken exhaust pipe looked at. They told me that I was going to have to spend over $1000 in parts. The strange thing I found is that I couldn't get them to tell me exactly what parts I needed. I ended up taking it to a friend who lives out of town and imagine my surprise that only $25 of parts were needed! Be very weary of this place!

Waste of time and I’m not filled with confidence. I had seasonal servicing done on my two cars in May, one after the other. For the first car, they did the oil change and put the summer tires on. When I picked the car up, they said “oh, we forgot to remove the heat shield, bring it back tomorrow.” I dropped it off the next day, and they dealt with the heat shield. Drove home, and then, drove the second car which needed an oil change and the tires switched. When I picked up the second car, they said “oh, we forgot to do the oil change, bring it back tomorrow.” Needless to say I was NOT happy with the hassle. And when I got home, I checked the tires’ pressure, and one tire was way above the recommended pressure. I can understand a one-off mistake, but draw your conclusion from the above.

I've been going to S/S Tire since 2012. Shane & Cameron have always been good to me. Just recently I brought in my car for an exhaust leak. The repair snowballed and it was in the shop for over a week! I was sick with worry thinking I should just get rid of my car. In the end they got me back on the road, they gave me a significant break on the bill, and gave me the time I needed to pay it off. I can't recommend S/S Tire enough. Cars can be expensive and stressful and these folks are great to deal with when everything is going wrong and you need help!

they said I needed to pay over 1200$ to fix my clutch, seemed fishy so I got a second opinion and got it fixed for 300! huge difference. Maybe get your tires changed here but I wouldn't take what they say on face value. Also, some of the 5 star review are from people who work there, conflict of interest much lol.

I called and managed to slip in on a cancelled appointment spot. The man I do believe his name was Camden was working the desk and super nice. I picked up the car and while I was waiting Camden took the initiative to glue my broken key together, help me find new wipers, give me advice on tires, and let me know my inspection was expired. His initiative will be the reason I come back and whatever he is getting paid, it should be doubled!! Great job.

So I was in downtown Fredericton today and I got a nail in my tire. Went to S/S Tire & Auto Center and the guy says "What can I do for you" I said "I have a nail in my tire." He said "I can't help you today." (It was 2:30 pm and he said "I can't help you today.") I explained that I was from out of town and in a bit of a "fix". He replied: "I can't help you today." Most unhelpful. Most unsympathetic. Most obnoxious. This will be the first bad review I have ever written, but I believe this guy needs to be a little bit less busy. Maybe a poor review will help. NOT RECCOMMENDED.
