I had a phenomenal experience at this place, they were able to slot me in last minute for an oil change in tire season. The owner was professional, kind, courteous, and made it very clear that he is not about taking people’s money. He made suggestions about some work that needed to be done and gave us the prices with no pressure attached. He even directed traffic to make sure I was able to safely back out on to the road. He went above and beyond. The prices were extremely reasonable and quality work! I will be going here again in the future for sure :)

Travelling from Ontario to Newfoundland. My exhaust snapped in 2 and I called every shop in the city with 30 minutes till 5pm. Every single person did not offer any assistance and said they cannot do anything for me all the boys are packing up and going home. I called Ace Automotive and when he was about to close, he didn’t and instead stayed open to help. I cannot thank the boys enough. A few hours later he even called me to check and make sure I was okay and had arrived at Moncton safely. Honest work and a great price. Highly recommended and will tell the story to all my friends and family. Thank you so much!!!!

My new favorite mechanic in town! The gentleman that owns this shop is a super kind fella, he came in during one of the shops closed days just to deal with my vehicle. He was super honest about the issue and gave me better prices than anywhere else I've been in Canada. I also overheard his discussion with another customer on a seperate day. The customer had an issue with his vehicle and the mechanic was upfront with saying "a lot of places will say 'we can try replacing this and that' and rack up a bill'" then continued to explain the actual and deep mechanical issue with the customers vehicle and gave him a few different options. It's super nice to see honesty and passion, if I could give this business 10 stars I would! Definitely recommend!

We were about to go a long overdue road trip in our RV. At Costco filling up when noticed engine light flashing. Called Ace. They said come on over. Found it it was our calipers seized. The owner Peter said we would be back on the road in the hour. True to his word. Auto parts delivery came with a new caliper and the mechanics had it replaced and fixed. Our NB adventure is back on track!! Thank you Ace Automotive!! Highly recommend

Dropped my car off at this garage to have the tires changed and the car inspected. I left it there overnight and they left my car unlocked in their yard. The winter tires that I bought less than a year ago were stolen out of my unlocked car. They gave it back to me without mentioning that and just charged me for the other work that they had done. When I realized that I still had summer tires on the car (originally I assumed that they were thrown away) I called to ask what happened and they said they would call me back. They did not return my call and when I went there to follow up, they displayed no compassion for their mistake. I know it was left unlocked since my tires are gone and my windows are not broken. When I asked if this was a possibility, they became very defensive. They also do NOT have cameras on their lot. I locked the car before bringing the keys in to them. They would not even apologize to me, just asked if I had insurance and told me to call my insurance company. Very unprofessional. Do not trust this garage and if you do go there, stay with your property. If it gets stolen, they will be rude towards you and not helpful in any way.

If I could give 10 stars I would!! Never seen a great guy like the owner. Was heading home for vacation (I am student) and my engine light went on. I know I had something wrong with the transmission so I just wanted to see if I could get home safely and fix it at home. I arrived there and they were close, so I decide to call anyway to check if it was really the case. The owner picked up and told me he was close but could help by phone. So after a while, he just told me to stay there and he'll be there in 20 minutes. He checked everything on the car, when for a test drive, fixed a few things and told me I was safe to drive home. I tried to pay him and he completely refused. If you're in the Fredericton region, I encourage you to support his shop !! ** I had my dogs and he took time to pet her and give her treats**

DO NOT leave your vehicle unattended at this establishment, while having work done or otherwise. They will rummage through your dash & trunk and steal anything not nailed down. There are plenty of other establishments in the Fredericton area, do yourself a favour and go anywhere else but here!

I recently had a wheel hub/bearing wear out on my truck. I emailed them and requested an appointment and the owner quickly got back to me via text to confirm the details and offered a quote. He asked me to give him a call. He was very knowledgeable about my vehicles issue and he asked me to bring the truck down the next day for a scheduled appointment. The next day i called to ask if i could come in a little early and he told me that he probably wouldn't be able to accommodate me because he was scheduled for another appointment at that time. I can definitely appreciate that. At my schedualed appointment time my truck was the priority and they got it in right away and diagnosed the problem, ordered the part and got to work on it very quickly Overall I got the feeling that this shop manages its time very well and is able give very good service to each customer. A highlight of the service I received was when the parts delivery driver was stuck in traffic and the owner actually went to get the part himself. This is a smaller hardworking operation and I was very happy quality of service and work I received as well as with the honest, fair, knowledgable and no BS way these guys took care of business. I will would absolutely bring my vehicle back to them and would reccomend them to anyone who appreciates a personal touch when it comes to customer service.

There were soooooo many things wrong with my car when I went to get it inspected. When I was there the third separate time during my vehicle's repair process. I really noticed how peter and his crew treat his customers. It really shows that Peter does not want customers to spend loads and loads of money, he also doesn't want them to worry. Peter looked for the most cost effective way to do my Ebrake shoes and everything else on the list and was successful. You are in very good hands if you take your vehicle to ACE auto.

So. I only wanted to get an inspection sticker and when they found that the rear wiper motor was dead, they insisted it be replaced even though my bike rack would allow it to wipe anyway... and then the found that it needed a motor with variable speed control, they didn't have 1, and would just use a regular on or off kinda motor, so I had to wait for like 3 hours for that. Then when I tested it , it was only on or off.. they wired it wrong, the wiper fluid wouldn't work and in the end, the whole blade needed replaced because it was rusty.. but noooo they saw the motor wasnt working and took advantage of me. didn't actually care that the wiper was working, just knew that "technically by law the motor must be in working order. Anyway, next, they mentioned I have an oil leak that could be "damaging to your engine" when in reality, I had checked both my engine underbelly and shocks for leaks just before coming there. and when I checked later, there was oil where he said there would be.. so I wiped it off and it has been dry ever since. He put oil all over to trick me to getting a new part that was, "a little pricey" And when buddy put my new inspection sticker on he MANGLED the old sticker removal, leaving pieces of the sticker and goo all over the windshield. Will never get service here again.

We went there to have our car inspected and tires changed, left it there because he was busy and we weren’t in a rush, we decided not to have the work done there and our 4 winter tires are missing! They told us to call insurer. Stay away from this place, they are thieves!
