Not sure how the mechanics are here. All I know is that I called for an alignment saying that I'm extremely busy and I can't be without my vehicle. I asked when they can get me in first appointment of the day and he said drop it at night and will do work at 8 and will take about hour and half. I went at 9 to see how it going and truck has not moved and receptionist tells me at least 2 hours to do an alignment. Maybe good mechanics but no consideration for peoples time which is what I'm looking for in an honest mechanic

Drove in From Edmonton and my truck had developed a squealing sound while turning. Richard reccomended a full inspection, he ended up doing a really thorough inspection of my entire truck, the guy even pulled the spark plugs to make sure they were good. In the end my problem was being caused by debris stuck between the shielding and rotor of my front breaks. He fixed the problem and lubed my brake parts with out charging extra onto of the inspection. Really honest and fair shop. I wish I had a mechanic like this in Edmonton.

Very rude service. I was asking about getting some work quoted, a small suspension job on an older truck. The person I was talking to got quite upset and frustrated. Said quotes can take up to 30min to do up. She put me on "hold" but I could hear her talking about how frustrated she was for having to do a quote up for all this work I wanted. Another person picked up the phone and put me on hold properly. When he returned I told him what I heard and let him know they would not be getting my business. The response was smug and rude as they seemed not concerned in losing my business. Response: Your response tells me all I need to know on how this business is ran. The costumer is not important. There was nothing wrong with my approach. I was reaching out for information. So I am not allowed to call around for the best price? What would make you think I would go with the best price? I am looking for the best. The best quality, service, and price. Price is not first on that list.

11/10 would recomend this place to anyone looking to get work done on there vechicle. The staff and owner were friendly and easy to get along with, i had work done on my 96 gmc and it took a bit longer then they expected because its an older truck with old truck problems, but they still gave me an amazing price, stayed close to the quote they gave me and didnt over charge me. There goal is to help people and it really shows!

just had some plugs and sensors done on my wife’s SUV. Quick, provided information along the way and kept me in the loop during the repairs. Great experience and will definitely return. The front desk lady they have now is also extremely nice to deal with. I’ve been to other shops in town where most of the time the front counter person acts as if you’re bothering them with your business. The owner also did me a huge solid and just an overall great experience here.

Last week I visited fort mac. I described an issue I was having but needed to verify my vehicle transmission was safe and had fluid. Due to odd high rpm with an error code. The staff were friendly and helpful to fit this in. Diagnostics and topped up my fluid. They where right about the issue. Unfortunately I am from out of town and wasn't able to have the issue resolved on location. They were a packed house and they still helped me out. Thank you. Definitely would go back if I ever needed something done and was in town.

I called to get my car fixe. I gave the make modèle and the years of the car hé told me hé could fix it so I went there ended up loosing my time and money.he Was now saying that wv only can fix it. Hé already new that when i callec but only told me after the oil change why make me come over there if you know you cant do what i asked for. Ended up paying 173 for oil change. He over charged me only because im young and im à girl. I Was up set and had my reason to be. Then instead of explaining things to me hé insalted me. I might be young and à girl and french but that doesnt make me dump I asked him to fix my car said hé could t do anything but oil change......wake up I have 3 burnt Light couldnt you have done that.... the truth is he didnt even chek the car. Be smart dont go there

These guys are better than great. Lost the serpentine belt tensioner on the south edge of the city as I was ready to drive to Ed. Limped back into Fort Mac to Cartech. No one had one in the city. Dealership was telling Cartech maybe in 4 days, needs to come in from Vancouver. Richard started to call around and pulled one out of his hat. When I got the bill, it was $75.00 less than I was quoted. I’m in FM on a regular basis and now have a mechanic I feel I can trust. I’m sure you can appreciate how rare that is. Thank you Richard.

Called a week ago and made an appointment to get an inspection on my truck. I explained when I called a few issues I was having and that I wanted full inspection done to see what needed to be fixed. So I drove all the way gregoire after nightshift and had a ride arranged only to be told they have nothing on file with my name and they're fully booked. Also asked if i was sure I booked at the right place lol during the phone call she told where they were located so i know i didn't mess that up. this is the absolute most scam shop I've ever been to in my life. I've been a journeyman mechanic for 10 years and I took my truck there for a wheel alighnment and the stuff they told me and tried charging me for what ridiculous. please stay away and safe your self money and go next door to fountain tire
