Had BCAA tow our car here to have the clutch pressure plate repaired as the hydraulics failed and needed air removed from the lines.. we were given a unnecessary laundry list of repairs that amounted to over 3 grand in additional repairs..we only wanted the one thing repaired to get the car home, the car did not need a complete clutch job at such low KM, previously we had another garage give us a free inspection and quote for other minor repairs labeled non asap..but Gorge Vale would not do what we wanted..so we limped our car home and they billed us $160 dollars just for the look at..don`t trust this garage they want to ripe you off rebuilding components that function fine.

I have been described by some as a "nightmare customer" and I feel like the service people at Gorge Vale made everything so easy. An oil change, a great price, a clean car and no nightmares! Can't wait to change over my winter tires! I'll be back for sure!

Pleasant enough people. Very expensive for what I wanted done. 49 bucks to swap out winter tires for summers. The rims were on both sets. Probably a 20 minute job. I didn't need to hear it was cheaper if I had an oil change too. Would have been better if they just charged less. I won't be back.

Great service! I took my van in at 10:00 AM and they replaced the alternator the same day. Washing and vacuuming the car was a nice touch you don't see everyday.

Heads up RV Folks for good news! As a (not that mechanically inclined) woman and a first time RV owner ( 6 CYL 1993 Toyota Winnebago Warrior). I felt quite vulnerable taking my new to me Toyota rig in to find out why my reverse lights weren't working and to get them or whatever was wrong repaired. Then the house lights and pump decided to fail that morning as well. The vehicle had passed a professional inspection 3 weeks prior to a shortish road trip sooo....this was like a test for all involved lol! I can tell you this with confidence and from past experience...a less scrupulous shop might've charged more and given me less than the quality repairs of what these guys did to get me legally rolling. I'm no mechanic but I am willing to trust personable people who HEARD THIS SISTER SAY SHE WAS NOT MADE OF MONEY. Cost of labor was high for me but it was still fair considering my peace of mind knowing they didn't try to gouge me the way other mechanics have tried. REFRESHING FOR SURE LOL! Dave explained the issues and showed me what I needed to see to my satisfaction and their team was personable and professional to deal with. A pleasant experience deserves a good review! 9/10!

I went to my car for a problem, after almost 2 hours, everything was fine, I paid and I went home after not even after two days the car had the same problem. I come back and you are told to go and take the car to the dealer! nice advice !! It was better to say that we are unable to repair your car take the car to the dealer BUT all this BEFORE you charge me for an unsolved problem ... I paid for what !! money given away, this is neither correct nor professional .... not recommended! thanks to never again

Booked for an BC inspection appointment at a time they wanted/ said worked best. Knew I was a waiter, and the car sat there for over half an hour before it moved. Was spoke to like I knew nothing about cars, little did they know I’m a licensed mechanic. Just absolute non-sense the service advisor spewed.

I love these guys. A few occasions I feared a hefty bill as I'm mechanically inept. Turned out simple fix so very cheap. Once didn't even charge me as it unexpectedly turned out to be super simple. Could have robbed me blind but instead it was, and always is fair, often a bargain.

I had an oil change booked for two weeks in the future as the shop was booked up until then. I was however worried about a squeal coming from my rear wheel so Dave told me to come by and they would listen to it and see if it would be detrimental to keep driving with it. I showed up at about 2:30 on a Friday afternoon. It turned out it was my rear brake pads. They did the repair for me last minute, late in the day on a Friday and got it done for the weekend with no questions asked. I hadn't expected that and was very impressed!

Here is the review I left for gorge vale auto I just got a car and the previous owner had an inspection done at this Gorge vale auto they said that it needs new brakes all around all new struts and that one of the tires has a leak that cannot be repaired and that I need two new tires.Went to another repair facility and found that the rear brakes has about 60 thousand k worth of wear on it left and only the front break pads needed to be replaced. I found out that only the rear struts needed to be replaced not all four and the shop that I went to was able to fix the tire that Gorge Vale auto said could not be fixed. They were trying to charge me $3800 for all the work they said needed to be done and I spent $1300 going elsewhere. I do not trust gorge vale auto they lied repeatedly on the inspection report given to the previous owner.
