I drove up from Red Deer to deal with Alse after reading up on them and calling to confirm pricing. Check out their reviews.. the honda guy cracked me up. ???? After that i had to come in and give them my business. Service was a bit longer than expected but it turned out that they had to replace a few studs on one of my hubs, so im glad they found that issue. Pricing was awesome, even with the stud replacement. The new tires are for my wifes vehicle, and i couldnt have afforded them otherwise. Спасибо ????

I had purchased tire from there and 2 of the tire tread started to come out so I went for warranty claim and they said they have to do it from supplier so I agreed and paid for new 2 tires but then after that I didn’t hear back from them and it’s been 2 months now. Btw I bought Khumo 225/45/17 all weather tires. So they never do warranty claim instead they just do sell of new tires. UPDATE: when after reply from Alse tire I tried to contact them and they just mentioned they will not provide any details about my warranty claim like number or processed paper as I had submitted bad reviews. So This guys don’t care about customer service and their issues. They just want good google reviews.

I went there to get tires for my Porsche, not to see if there was dust in the office or to check out the decoration! And... The tires were the best price in the whole city and the service was first come first serve. I arrived at 2PM and by 2:45 I was on the road with brand new tires 275 -40R - 20 rated for 270 km/h (not that i need that speed) at $135 each!!! I had priced the same tires in Fort Mac at $400 each, plus install, but they would take 3 weeks to receive after placing an order. So, if you want tires, at great prices and installed the same day you go here. If you want to look at beautiful pink walls with ponies and unicorns ????, then you shouldn’t go here * If you find this review helpful, please give it a like

Dont take your car there , they are very dishonest people . Went there for wheel alignment last week , after 15 Mins the guy at counter says your car needs new tie rods and it will cost extra 260$ . I said give me the printout of wheel alignment but he had no graph and no answers . Went to kaltire after that there was nothing wrong with tie rods and they did my alignment without any problem . I will give -5 stars if possible .

The owner is a nice man but there's some shady business going on with their audit books. I got my tires from Canadian Tire and got him to install them. He refused to take my debit or credit card after installation and told me he only accepted cash. When I asked him what the credit card POS machine right in front of me was for he got annoyed and hiked the price by $10! So I had to get cash from the nearest ATM, which was far. Bottom line: carry cash.

Small front office . limited seating 1 seat couch and chair. - debit machine for payment. - Plenty parking outfront. Mechanic refused to do work on my vehicle as it is too hard. Dont want to waste 2hr working on it 2nd excuse we got new machine does not work on old cars. Regardless they are cheepest in town. For tires and alignment.

This store was great when I used them. A dealership quoted me over $1200 in front end repairs. I knew this wasn’t right, so I took the vehicle to this guy and with a quick and simple realignment, the problem was fixed. They literally saved my over $1000. Great work and very reasonable prices!!

The customer service is very bad. the front desk person was too rude and didn't even care while talking to me. I just went there because of their low price for the alignment but I found out their job quality is too low and was telling them that my car got worst after your alignment and he was saying we did our job and I can't do anything else. I went to another place and they fix my problem. I just wasted my time and money and I got nothing. Also they are not honest at all, I won't trust them to leave my car with them any more. I saw one of them driving my car through a very bumpy thier alley like crazy and that could destroy the car suspension system. I don't recommend to go close to that place for any kind of job

Did not warranty tire, said I drove on it so he could not warranty the tire after I had a blow out at 130km on the highway. Service might be good but I would not recommend their tires. Owner also put tire on the paint of my car making the first scratches on the black paint on my car that I take care for making sure it doesn't get scratched. No respect for customers vehicle. I do not recommend this place. Edit after he said he would help me with my issues, 1) You already scratched my car very deeply with a gritty tire 2) You offered to sell me a new tire that does not match any tires on my car and take 5 dollars off installation in the winter with an all season tire when I had winter tires Does not sound like helping your customers to me, will never return to this tire shop again.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO THIS GARAGE. this guy is cheap for a reason, the staff don't know even how replace rotors and breaks. I had to change it twice. breaks and rotors were still under warranty and got warped. he did not want to replace it at first, only when I insisted, and even the second time same thing happened, the rotors got warped again, staff is not knowlegable they did not even replace the sensors for the breaks. I do not recommend it unless you want to waste your money

Came here about 6 years ago (westend location) to get my front brakes done since saw their advertisement on Kijiji with a reasonable price. My first impression wasn't the greatest when I got there, as the shop waiting area was messy and filthy. Not an area you really want to sit around and wait. The two guys that greeted me weren't that friendly. But I decided to just go ahead with the work since was still a great price. When it came time to pay I was told I couldn't use my credit card, and was cash only since the cost was so cheap (was just over $100). Wasn't happy about that and should have mentioned this ahead of time. Not sure if things have changed much since then, but 2 stars only due to the price compared to 2 other places I went to. But don't think I would go back again regardless of price due to my first experience.

I was shopping for tires the past couple of weeks. After checking out all the big-name shops, I found Alse by a chance search. Their price was way better than any other shop I found, even for their labour and supply costs. I drove off with 4 brand new tires that are M+S rated for an excellent price and carry a warranty. The customer service I had was fantastic as well. I actually felt like my business mattered to them and not just my invoice. If you want to pay $400-$500 for "shop supplies", go somewhere else. If you want quality and service that you can't beat, go to Alse.

Shopped around on Saturday for a shop to do an alignment on my dodge Dakota was told they could do it ASAP, and they did price was very on par and work was done in time told. Truck runs straight now no pulling. Very friendly and service was on par with any small family run business..

Picked up some winter rims from ALSE that were supposed to fit my vehicle. Had tires mounted onto rims by 3rd party. Went to install and calipers were rubbing. Returned to ALSE only to be told to pound sand. Realize rims should have been dry fitted first, my bad. Regardless, there was no attempt to make it right when the ET and center bore were clearly wrong from the order. Was also told that small delta in offset doesn't matter?? And this is a wheel shop?? Further was told that the center bore doesn't matter?? Must have missed that geometry class. Very poor customer service which seems to be a common theme these days. Would NOT recommend if you are looking for any expertise around tires, rims, or geometry.

Seen a few mixed reviews before trying this place out. They evacuated and recharged my a/c system in my truck, it cost me $100 plus tax. It didn’t take long for them to complete the job. They seem to be a small family run business, the store front isn’t very welcoming and the English isn’t every good as they are heavy in Ukrainian accents but over all I was pleased with the service and the price.

I went to this shop to get my wheels balanced. I have aftermarket wheel studs on my BMW. Instead of asking me if they were aftermarket, the service tech decided to remove them from the vehicle, damaging them. When they put them back in, they used an impact gun to tighten the lug nuts on to the vehicle, which further damaged them. I also noticed that my steering wheel would still shake, even after getting the tires balanced. When I went back to the shop to ask for a refund, the manager said he could do nothing for me, as I had aftermarket studs, and they removed the wheel as per BMW usual. I would not recommend this place.

This guy is a thief. I took my car in for an alignment. I was told just a few minutes after they started that they couldn't do the alignment because of a suspension issue. I was quoted $850 for the supposed suspension issue. I declined as I wanted to get a second opinion. I was charged a 'diagnostic' fee still before I could have my car back. I proceeded to take the car to the dealer. Not only did they not find any suspension issues with my car, they were able to do an alignment with no problem. I have the paper work to show any one that is interested. I have concluded based on my experience that this guy is out to scam people and is not to be trusted.

Called the shop today on Saturday and I asked about buying new rims and getting tires mounted and he said it could be done today. I stopped by the shop and he directed me to go around back and unload the tires and when I arrived the owner and a shop guy were there to help me unload the tires. He told me it would be about 2 hours. I came back in 1.5 hours and they were done. For $260 all in, I got 4 new rims, valve stems and my tires mounted and balanced. That’s a great deal! Thank you for being quick and providing great service. I’ll deffinitely be back!

Had a very positive experience. Definitely wouldn't say the owner is the strongest on the phone, but don't let that dissuade you. The service was quite good and price was very reasonable. And they didn't try to upsell everything, which I liked. And there were no issues accepting credit cards, despite what several other reviews claimed. They were Quiet and professional and I would recommend this service.

Excellent service and very polite staff. I had my summer tires put on new wheels and had them balanced and installed for $80. Ford would charge me a minimum of 160 dollars for the same job. I have a 16 Fiesta ST. 17 inch wheels. Shop only accepts cash. Which I am fine because credit card and debit card services cost them at least 5 percent of the transaction. Saves them money. Saves me money.

Went to Alse Tire South on 97 street. Although the owner sounded uncomfortable over the phone, he was very pleasant and thorough in his work. He has a bit of difficulty in English, but bear with him. He works methodically and installed my tires quickly and perfectly. I had low profile ultra high performance tires installed for my Lancer Ralliart and Alse Tire has the best prices out there. Their installation fees are very reasonable and they swaped my TPMS sensors at only 20$ extra charge for the 4 wheels. I paid 100$ total for installation. (Kal Tire wanted 200$ for installation and an additional 65$ per wheel for TPMS sensors!) Entirely satisfied with Alse Tire's South service.

Thus far, all is well! Prices were affordable, although it took about an hour longer than originally told, due to a delay waiting for the tires ordered to arrive. Had new ones installed on rims provided, and then switched over from winter tires. Waiting room is not anything fancy, but they have one @ least! Can be a tad difficult to understand, especially on the phone, but no big deal! Somewhat surprised that there was no social distancing or forms of sanitization amongst what Covid 19 health adviseries are recommended,? Suppose nobody wishes to lose revenue, or face the possibility of bankruptcy.? Appreciative just to have the work done under such circumstances....

Before I went to this shop, I looked at the reviews of the different tire shops around the city. Inspite of the mixed reviews of this shop, I decided to take my chances as they charge less than the other tire shops. So I went to this shop for a tire change over (mount and balance on the same rims) and all 4 rims have damage on the lip after the work. I phoned the owner right away as I already left his shop. He told me to come back to show the damage to him. I went back to his shop after a couple of hours, showed the damage and he just told me that the the damage are not new and some are damaged due to the brush used in changing the tires. They simply do not own their work. They even put the burden to you to ask other tire shops that these damages are normal. We take good care of our car, including the rims and tires and these guys just the damage the rims on their tools or machines. They seem not to have the proper training of what they are doing. I really regret why I went to this shop.

Went in for a quick alignment. Asks me to drop the car off for 2 hours. Come back 2 hours later and sit waiting for another 1.5 hours. 3.5 hours for an alignment on an old Honda Civic. Then the guy drives my car around back with the clutch half engaged burning the whole way. I can only imagine how bad it was trying to get on the lift. I can smell it burning. He has the nerve to tell me the clutch is shot and he could "barely" drive it around back and needs to be replaced. It has never slipped once in the 3 years I've been driving the car and magically didn't slip once all the way home. Funny how that works. Don't let this idiot anywhere near your car. Also tried to tell me the wheel bearing I literally replaced yesterday was shot because the brake dust shield was scraping a bit. Seriously? I told him its the dust shield since I had the tires off already to confirm and he still tries to tell me to replace the bearing again......

Decent price on tires, however the customer service from the manager/front end person is horrible. The office is dusty and filthy, the wait room furniture looks like it belongs back in the ditch where it came from. And the product knowledge and customer service is severely lacking. Bought a set of trailer tires however the bolt pattern was off on my error(no biggie) however he had me doing all the leg work to find the bolt pattern even after I dropped off the blown tire I was replacing. It took me about two seconds at home to find the pattern after I threw on my winter set of tires on the axel.

Gives quote online for "All in" then proceeds to tack on charges and say All in means parts +labour, not supplies or tax. Be very cautious when speaking with this company,be wary of any company full of 5 and 1 star reviews, speaks for itself. EDIT : In response to the company response, You tried to shave down my rotors instead of replace them. When I pointed this out, you reluctantly admitted "manufacturer error" and would replace them under warranty, and tried to charge me 380$ for more labour. I quickly explained that's not how warranty's work, and finally you replaced the front rotors with new ones. Never replaced the back ones, but I was done dealing with your nasty business.

I changed my review due to the fine print of the warranty. Hit a pot hole, tire blew. Its been only less than 5 months. Less than 3000 kms I put on a 70,000km warranty and I don't get covered. Tires are cheap price for a reason. They dont take much impact. And I wasnt even going fast. Called in was denied any help. I was going to to back for winter tires, but I'd rather go to their competitors that have fair prices for quality tires. Dont believe the warranty people. It's not as great as you think it would be. These guys lost my business as well as others. Do not refer them.
