I recently had an accident with my car and was looking for a repair shop. The insurance companies suggested several places including fix auto Dorval which happened to be conveniently located not far from my workplace. From the moment I drove into their parking lot they arranged everything for me assessing the damage properly, arranging for a car rental and ordering the parts I needed as quickly as possible so that my car would be repaired in the quickest time possible The service was excellent and nobody knew that I even had a car accident once my car was returned to me. The experience I received here was nothing short of impeccable. Gabriel, the owner of the place, is one of the most respectful gentleman that I had the privilege to meet and work with. My car was involved in an accident , & was towed by Fix Auto Dorval. Once I arrived, Gabriel had a courtesy car waiting for me (a brand new ford escape that smelled fresh and clean). After a few days, he called me back and informed me that my car unfortunately is declared a total loss & that the insurance company would call me back to make an offer for settlement ( what was amazing is he called me before they do so I would have extra time to go and pick up all my belongings from the car, even before the insurance calls me). Gabriel is very organized and efficient( even though at the time of this review, he was working alone in the office), always answering my phone calls and always kept me updated. I wanted to swap my tires since they were brand new & they did that for me. The mechanic also swapped the battery for me (super nice guy). I lost a car but I gained a reputable garage. Based on my experience I recommend this place to anyone who goes through an accident, or just needs a simple maintenance.

My colleague from work recommended Gabriel, the manager of Fix Auto in Dorval, to me for the car paint work. So, I came to Gabriel with a dent on the side of the car that the other car made when it was parked on the street. The work did not disappoint - it was so good that I could not locate where the dent was and the paint blended perfectly with the color of the car. In the meantime, Gabriel brought to my attention that the color of my front bumper differed from the body of the car, which I already knew. The front bumper had been replaced and painted by the repair shop under the official Toyota dealership when my car was slightly hit by another car in the parking lot on a separate occasion. Long story short, it was a terrible paint job, which I complained about right away but I was told it is what it is. I let it go trusting the "experts". Also, the replaced headlight looked old, rusty and dirty. I complained to my insurance company again this time and eventually succeeded. I insisted that Fix Auto in Dorval re-do the work. Gabriel replaced the front bumper and applied the paint that perfectly matched the color of my car. The new headlight was put in place of the other headlight. The paint job, professionalism and service are off the charts! I would highly recommend Gabriel and his team if your car needs a fix! You will have no regrets and the work will exceed your expectations.

Returned to Dorval Auto Fix for a windshield replacement, insurance had them on file. Was worried because of all the electronics and camera on the rearview mirror. After receiving the OEM windshield for my precious car, the same day all was replaced and looked like new. No issues, no gimmicks, perfect work and VIP treatment. Knowledgeable mechanics and of course Gabriel had answers to all my questions. Quick phone and emails replies within minutes. Am also changing oil and tyres there as well. I trust them. That is the most important part of the perfect work, the trust. Had my calipers painted and detailed, they do everything to perfection.Car looks like its going to a show.

Be careful using these guys. The work was good but we had an issue with the invoicing. Genuinely shocked by how our situation was handled. Back alley body shop 'yell until the customer gives up' method of customer service. Probably fine for insurance work when you're not paying them directly.

Tops in their field. I gave this body shop top marks for quality of work but found management very abusive in handling my car. Short circuit my infotainment system when they jump started my cars battery as Fix Auto Management decided it was okay to use my car as entertainment centre for 3 weeks while keeping it up on a rack. The cost to me was over $1300.00 to replace the unit. Management decided to declare that my infotainment system was defective. Manufacture advised that the infotainment system was left on at the time the battery was boosted. WARNING: YOUR INSURANCE PROVIDER WILL NOT COVER THESE TYPES OF ABUSIVE ISSUES. YOU'RE AT YOUR OWN PERIL.

Do yourselves a favor and avoid this place. They use very low quality parts and paint. After 2 months my new repainted doors are peeling. Bumper was badly reattached, some clips we're missing. Doors badly aligned. Lesson learned, next time I'll get my car fixed either at the dealership or an independent body shop. This is like the McDonald's of body shops. Cheap labor and quality.

I had been caught in an insurance nightmare for about 2 and a half months, when I pulled my car out of where it had been and brought it to Gabriel (the owner) here at Fixauto Dorval.
