Went in yesterday to have my winter tires put on, and the guy who presents me the bill says that my cabin air filter needs to be replaced. I was skeptical, because I just swapped it out 5000 kms ago. Went home and checked the cabin air filter myself - it was PERFECTLY fine. Now I'm pissed off and don't trust these guys, so I grab a gauge later that night and check the pressure on the tires that they JUST PUT ON. One of them reads 27 psi. Another one reads 36. Spec is 32. I mean seriously - you have ONE JOB TO DO.

When it came time to pay my bill I was quoted CAD51,I inquired as to why I was paying 51 and not 35 dollars..they said that mags cost extra cause they had to use special tools ?? Si vous aller à cette place, je vous conseille de vous y connaitre un peu en mécanique car vous pourriez vous retrouver avec beaucoup de réparation qui ne sont pas requises dans l'immédiat et qui gonflerait votre facture

Long story short. The low tire pressure light came on my car, my tire kept going flat. I tried putting air at 2 different gas station, the tire stayed flat. At first, I went to Pneus Touchette. The place where I bought the tires a year ago. They cleaned the rims and inflated the tire and charged me 40$. 2 days later the tire went flat again, I went back and they charged me another 40 $ !!! The guy could barely look me in my eyes when he explained why. But I have no time to argue. I told myself I am never going to Pneus Touchette ever again. NEVER ever !!! A week later, the low tire pressure light came back and my tire went flat again. ???? It's Saturday morning, I didn't want to drive too far on flat in this weather. I googled map garages in the area and Piece d'Auto Cobra was the only place open. I went there at 8:30 am and it was already kind of busy but at least the guy at the front desk was nice, friendly and professional. I waited about half an hour. I got a coffee, read the newspaper. He took my car inside, 15-20 minutes later. He brought my car back out. He explained that nothing seems wrong with the tire. They cleaned the rim and inflated back the tire. He said it should be good but if the tire goes flat again come back to see him. I asked how much do I owe him he told me nothing. 0$.????. Now I don't know if my tire is going to go flat again in a couple days but today, I really appreciate it.????They just got themselves a new customer. This is my new garage.✔

Nov 30th got new tires- Nokian studded+steel rims from Touchette on St Laurent. Had to go back 4 times to redo balancing to stop the shaking from the tires and one road test with mechanic as I still hear flappy harmonic noise on highway speeds-he didn't find anything wrong. Pros:-price was good, they did try to remedy the problem. Cons:- too much time lost to get balancing right and still not 100% Final thoughts - should have gone with my Mazda dealer as the touchette's mechanic said all this problems might be from not original rims-hub centric and what not. P.S. How nice of the Touchette's director of Customer Service -Jonathan, to show interest to comment on my post and list his contact info. Would be even nicer if he actually answers his phone or check his voice mails... P.S.2. Finally spoke to the director of customer service -was offered small compensation (in form of free service) for the time lost.

I took my 2011 BMW M3 here to change all four tires and alignment.
