I just recently came to Chatham, and my friend suggested I check out Brooks Tire. The service was amazing, the waiting area was clean. They helped me pick out affordable and reliable tires, if they don't have it in stock they can easily get you in for the next day. Overall, amazing experience and I'm definitely bringing all my vehicles here for any tire needs! Highly recommended. Extremely quick service, they'll have you in and out of the shop within the half hour.

I always go here to get used tires that are supposed to be safe and good quality. I had bought 3 tires but my daughter's surprised me with a set from another tire place in Windsor. They told me the tires I bought at Brookes were unsafe and one was a winter tire and one was the wrong size. They then showed me that there was hardly no tread left on the tires. I took the tires back and they remember me buying them but would not reimbursed me. I would not recommend going there.

REASON FOR GOING: Getting my four snow tires put onto a civic. PRICES: Seemed reasonable to me. WAITING: The mechanic was quick and I wasn't waiting long at all. CUSTOMER SERVICE: This is where the wheels came off. If you talk to a man there, great customer service. If you attempt to talk to the woman with bangs at the desk, good luck. Her: It'll be $67.80, *she looks at my debit card,* and there's an ATM right there. Me: Uh, oh, okay. Sorry, how much is it again? Her: $67.80 Me: *I get money from ATM and go back to counter.* Yeah, I read the "no credit or cheques sign" and didn't realize that meant cash only. Her: *silent, just takes my cash* Me: *in a casual, laid back tone..* Yeah, that would be a good thing to add up there or somewhere around. Her: *stares at me with the stink eye* ........ I'm sorry, what? Even if you think my suggestion is ridiculous the appropriate thing to do is glance up at your sign and casually say, "oh yeah, not a bad idea." Or even at minimum, "oh yeah, maybe." THEN when I leave you can feel free to disregard my suggestion complain about me for the rest of your day if you'd like to use it doing so. It's usually more clear if businesses specify "Cash Only" - which many others do. I know that I certainly would not have shown up with a debit card had there have been a sign. I CAN say that a man there who appears to own it or manage it with his two German Shepherds was extremely friendly and polite, which was greatly appreciated. ****SUMMARY****: It rubs me the wrong way when the only method of payment is cash, yet there is no sign specifically stating that, and then you take six steps to pay an extra fee to use their ATM. Turning your nose up at a sincere suggestion is also not a good look on a business.

Earlier today we were on our way to a Ottawa for a family weekend. Our tire burst right as we got on the highway and we had to put our spare on. We headed to Brooks Tires quickly hoping they could quickly give us a new tire and they did an amazing job. It took no more than 25 minutes. Amazing customer service and great price. Will definitely recommend!

I had a flat at the house and I had CAA change it to the spare for me. I drove to Brooks, where I bought the tires. I was in and out in 30 minutes! It was a nail in the tire. The service cost me $16.95! I'm pretty sure that I would not receive fast service, or the great price from anywhere else! Thanks guys! Great job!

The best place in Chatham to get your tires serviced. They use the correct method for sealing tires. (Not dish soap, like some other places *cough "Canadain Tire" cough*) Prices are on-pair. Staff is super friendly, very informative. Will only go here for tire service. Hands down!!

I have went here multiple times for different tire needs. Everytime I have went here I have been treated nothing but professionally, they offer new and used tires for all sorts of budgets. I recently bought their used snow tires I was a little hesitant on buying used snow tires but they preformed equal to new snow tires for a fraction of the price. Chatham has a few options to get a set of new tires installed. So, if there are more options to choose from than you'd like to deal with, think simple. Check for the word of what you need done in the name of the business and listen to word of mouth :) Being that I only have weekends do to most things, it didnt leave many options for a Saturday. I drove into Brooks Tire without an appointment and got what I needed right away, at a great price! Can't really ask for more when I got exactly what I wanted. Good job.

Was great until today. Person at counter didn't seem to know what was going on with vehicles ahead of me and reluctant to give a waiting time estimate. Also price was $10 more than two competitors I called. One of them took me in and did the work today.

I called and they got me in right away on my lunch break for a slow leak in one of my tires, everything seemed well. They let me watch all of the work, which some shops wont let you do, i watched the mechanic use an impact gun on the keyed nut (special patterned nut) before using the torque wrench. he told me it was tight and might break i understand a mistake no big deal. he broke the key socket then told me it would cost 50$ for him to use his special socket to remove all 4 of the keyed nuts to replace them or he could try and find and stop the leak leaving the now useless nuts on. I told the manager and who was all of a sudden very hostile telling me "he doesn't have to charge me anything." i asked them to continue work as i needed my vehicle fixed to get back and forth to work. Here is where i have a real problem with the shop, after expressing being upset about having to pay the extra 50$ the manager looks at the logo on my shift and asks if i work there.(another local business to Chatham) and then tells me i can afford it. None of his business how much i make or can afford! turns out i needed a new tire anyway no big deal it is what it is. Having an idea of one price, 20$ to patch a hole, and getting told a completely different one, 160$ for a used tire, nuts, and repair fee, will hurt anyone. It was his comment that lead me to believe i had been profiled as a target right away without knowing it. I do come from out of town to work in Chatham everyday and this has left a poor taste in my mouth about doing business here.

I've given brooks multiple tries and every single time something had gone wrong on their end 1.they broke my tire pressure sensor and claimed it was broken (which it wasnt) 2.forgot to put on of my hubcap covers back on and threw away my 4th tire that I wanted to keep but put the other three in my car 3. Over tightened the lugnuts on my wheels to the point where it broke my own socket when I tried to remove them

I had the best opinion of the place and me and my family were customers. But today I was disappointed and felt that they were unethical. I ask them to switch the tires (off the rims) from one car to another (both mine) and they advantageously and without my authorization replaced a tire that was almost new for one that I did not have and very worn out. (they probably thought that since they were in the old car I would not realize or care. but it was still my tire) they should have asked for my permission

Allowed me to use their portable air tank to try and inflate the tire at no charge. When i couldnt get the wheel off they recoomended a good tow service. When my truck arrived they promptly took it in and repaired the hole. Didnt try to upsell me just fixed the problem. Price was good. Very pleased. Highly recommend them. I will go back next time i have a tire problem. I had to take my truck back as the tire went flat again. They loaned me their air tank again and offered to send someone out to remove the tire if necessary. The tire needed to be replaced. They knocked the 20 dollars from the repair off the replacement tire then gave me a fair discount for the trouble. Still very happy. They did what had to be done to make it right and had a great attitude about it

I've been having a problem with one tire for a few weeks, and have visited more than one tire shop asking them to check it out and help me. Canadian Tire sent me away saying my tire was fine, and OK tire simply didn't check it at all. I was frustrated because I was filling the air every day, and was willing to pay any price to make my car safe. I finally stopped at Brooks Tire in Chatham, and I'm so glad I did. I called last minute and spoke to Ryan. When I explained my situation, he made time to check my tire on short notice. Thank goodness! I've been driving around with a broken screw in my tire for 3 weeks!! He was so professional and courteous. He answered all of my questions, and even though I was prepared to buy new tires today if necessary, he measured the tread in front of me, explained what it meant, and assured me that I could wait awhile. He fixed my problem for only $25. Even though I live in London, when it's time to buy winter tires and steel rims, I will make the hour and a half drive to Brooks Tire because they were so professional and courteous, I have total faith that I will be treated fairly and with respect. Thank you Brooks Tires!!!

This one shop that is truly about service and helping customers. We were coming back from a holiday, 3 hours from home quarter to 6 they are closing in 15 minutes two flat tires on our motorhome no body answering their phones Rod could have said I'm sorry but he didn't he went above and beyond with there service sending out a truck to get our blown out tires and taking us back after they were fixed. Our hats are off to all that helped. PS and to top it all off the price he charged us was much less than we all would have thought making the end of our holiday a memory that we will not soon forget wish you were closer to my home as I would definitely use you again. I live down the street from Brooks Tire. I've always got my tires from there. Ryan has always been great with me. I've even forgot my card to pay him and he trusted me to go home and come back without even taking my personal info. The tires i bought for my van are going on 4 years old and i've never had them rotated and i still have tons of tread on them. Just try to get a debit machine...that way people can use debit or credit.
