I was looking for some running boards and found the exact type for a great price. Warranty was great. Unfortunatley my wife wanted a full step rather than the bar type i got. As i had opened and installed one i figured id be stuck with them. I called 4wheel parts and told them my story. They will take them back for store credit! This is exactly what i had hoped for as i am ordering a different set for them. The truck was too low compared to the front. I had to have the work done again and he installed a 2 "block + an extra blade so that the truck was really level. I didn't check the reviews before placing an order. It was a mistake! I ordered add a leaf kit for my nissan. After one week order still hasn't shipped so I sent them email to get an ETA. Their response was that the part was discontinued and is no longer available. Another week went by and I still didn't get a refund. Also the part is still on their website available to be ordered. If you can, go semewhere else.

Friendly staff but very disorganize. They are very quick to tell you that the product you want can be picked up in 2 days or 5 days but in fact you can pretty much double that time in most case from my experience. Once they assured me that a part would fit on my vehicule and claimed it would be ready to pickup in their store in 2 days, took 9 days and then once they received it, they told me it wouldn't fit on my vehicule and that they were not selling this part for my vehicule, they even asked me who told me it would fit. Anyway, long story short, there's not that many 4x4 parts stores around Montreal so I would say that they're ok, but lower your expectation and don't plan your moves according to what they're telling you. You could end up hanging dry. If they tell you they'l call you back in 10 minutes it's not true, it's mostly the next day if at all. I don't think they're bad people but like I said they're disorganized and probably understaffed. Now, I will keep dealing with them again and if the situation improves, I will come over here and change my review, in the meantime, be careful with them.

I did it, I bought wheels from here despite reading the bad reviews because I didn’t really care about customer service, I just wanted the parts and figured that it showed in-stock at the Langley store. I placed the order and called the next day to find out if I could pick them up since they showed in stock. I was told he couldn’t find my order in the system yet and was told “in stock” can mean anywhere in Canada and they’ll have them soon and to expect an email or call shortly. I called again today thinking they must have my order in their system and could give me a real ETA. Waited on hold for 20 minutes. The assistant manager answered the phone and advised me she couldn’t find the order in the system, but sees that the wheels are in stock in California, no ETA. I asked if they’ve seen their reviews online and was told we don’t know ‘their side of the story’ but in this case there is no their side of the story - it said parts in stock in Langley, they don’t have them. They can’t even find my $1,200 order in their system. Then I was told COVID is an issue, well I ordered parts from Florida last week and they arrived in 2 business days so it’s definitely not a COVID issue or an excuse. I asked for my order to be cancelled but was told since they can’t see the order in the system they can’t cancel it, and will contact their online department - so now my $1,200 is in limbo and I’ll call my credit card company on Tuesday if the refund isn’t processed by then. Want a better review? Call me and tell me you can get me the wheels soon and provide a solid ETA. P.S. the assistant manager was nice and apologetic, no complaints against her personally. I think the company and their ordering system is just broken. Canadian tire is better, and that’s REALLY saying something...

The absolute WORST customer service I have ever received!!!! I ordered my ARB awning May 30, 2020. It is now Aug 5, 2020 and I have yet to receive my parts! I have emailed them 8 times with no response. I have only been able to get through on the phone once and they told me it was shipping the next day. It has been over a week and no notification of shipment. Today I've been on hold for 2 hours, when you call in there isn't even a 'Hello' goes straight to hold. I just want my money back and order my parts from a more reputable company.

From anothe post on. Delete this if it's not allowed, just wanted to post my experience. Just want to give everyone a heads up before dealing with 4 Wheel Parts in New Brunswick. I blew up dana 30 last January and had to purchase a complete axle assembly to fix the issue. After a bit of research, I decided to purchase a complete axle in a create from 4 Wheel Parts last January. After talking to one of their salespeople, the convinced me to purchase their “Extreme Warranty” since it would cover me regardless of who installed the axle or what I did on or off-road. Their exact words, “A no hassle warranty that has you covered not matter what happens.” Not even 1 year later, I noticed a noise coming from the front axle along with diff oil all around my wheels. After sending it back to the dealership to have them look, they determined that the inner seals were installed incorrectly and would need to be replaced. These means taking the entire thing apart to do it. This was an “axle-in-a-crate” which basically means you remove the old axle assembly and put the new one on. Everything is done already. You just need to fill it with oil. 4 Wheel Parts basically said they are not taking responsibility with this and it’s not their issue. They even tried to blame the dealership for installing it incorrectly. The only thing they offered to do was send a replacement seal if I shipped the current seals back to them. Which would take between 2 to 3 weeks to get the new ones back. This is my daily driver, so I can’t go 2 or 3 weeks without a rig and on top of that, I had to pay all the labor charges for something that was done incorrectly from the factory. This is an information post on my dealings with 4 Wheel Parts.

The follow up process is terrible. I very regularly give negative reviews or reviews that lack some helpful suggestions to improve operations. But this is just broken - stay away. EDIT...UPDATE After this review and with some significant persistence, I was able to talk to a real person who was nice, professional, and helpful. I received my order today, so am upgrading from 1 to 2 stars. Top 3 recommendations for big improvements: The email contact us link goes to a USA service that doesn't deal in Canadian orders. The order confirmation, status, fulfill, ship process needs to be transparent and accurate. Canadian call centre needs to be staffed during wider hours and with helpful, informed staff using effective call centre infrastructure.

Admittedly, I ordered the wrong part number. Just called for a simple unopened box return and order the correct shock. Waited on hold for 2 hours for the return. Return person couldn't help me get the correct part number. Transferred me again before confirming the return information. The sales guy proceeded to cut me off mid sentence while I was asking about the return and put me back into another 2 hour queue to finish the return!!! I can't believe this company and will never never do business with them again. Not only that, but this is only the first of many reviews I plan to leave. Ordered a difficult to find Redarc switch insert from 4WP Langley. It arrived in-store on schedule. Then they called me and offered to ship it to me free in Kelowna because they had other parts being delivered locally, saving me a shipping cost equivalent to the cost of the switch insert. I bought some lights for my jeep there, they were great, i was obsessed with keeping my jeep stock, so i ordered a replacement ashtray and cigarette lighter, after multiple weeks and 4 visits to the store they found the lighter they had been looking for and then told me the ashtry i already paid for didnt even exist... somebody had the patent but the product needed to be made and brought to market before it would be delivered.... it still doesnt exist quite the long term investment

Horrible As a new Jeep owner, excited to get parts and modify, as we all do I’m sure. This place is an utter and total disaster and of course disappointment. I order online a month ago for curb side pick up, still do not have the part. Was told twice the part was in come and get it, went once only to wait around for an hour and then eventually be told “can’t find it, warehouse is an absolute mess.” “We will have to reorder the part for you” is another thing I have been told twice!! Still nothing!! I have called, only to be put on hold for endless amounts of time, usually resulting to me hanging up. I have emailed asking for my money back. ZERO response from the company. Dave has been phenomenal with his expert advice and guidance as I build up my Jeep Wrangler. Only have bought parts here, never gone for service. The Staff is very friendly, and Staff will hound you to purchase their 'Extreme' warranty on everything you buy, even if it's something that will likely never fail. I used to get curiosity calls asking if I was looking at anything new, which is nice. Cool '$10 coupon off next purchase' promotion I used maybe 5 times in a row. Store hosts fun special event BBQs a few times a year, usually with a nice ~$500 give-away, it's worth following them on Facebook to stay in-the-loop. The inside of the store itself isn't really special, and the website you'll be doing most of your shopping on sucks bad for 2019. Website is slow, item pictures are small and lacking, etc. I've been waiting for one order for close to 2 months, haven't gotten much communication on what the deal is there.

I like getting items from here, staff are helpful and knowledgeable, they have a wide enough selection that I rarely find it better to go else where. And I like that they deliver to the store for free and all I have Todo is pick it up. After shopping online for the same brands they carry a few of the items I've gotten have either really expensive shipping else where or it's from the states so the dollar exchange and shipping costs do not make it worth while. Would definitely recommend you check this out should you need some accessories!

Customer Service is a disaster unfortunately. There are several other shops in the area who will treat their clients top notch & appreciate their business. I spent ~$35,000 between 2 trucks here & wish I had gone elsewhere. Had my top of the line Airbags fail within weeks of install on one of the trucks, shop not to blame as it's a manufacturing issue - But have been waiting over 5 months for replacement. Have had to e-mail several times, call the front desk only to sit on hold for ages. Any shop who makes their clients a priority would have found a way to take care of this by now. I do not think this is a direct issue with the staff. The guy helping me was knowledgeable and helpful. They are likely way understaffed & management needs to get some systems in place to keep things organized and get the lines of communication better with clients.

Will not be shopping here anymore. Every time I go to 4 Wheel Parts the staff just scroll through the website and tell me this is your only option. Their Moto should be “helping customers not build solutions” they never direct me to a company that can help me. I know they are not a custom fab company but anything that isn’t an exact fit is totally out of the question for them. Might as well shop online and use “pick your vehicle” because it is about as useful as the staff at 4 Wheel Parts.

Alex was absolutely amazing. Bought a contractor rack from them 6 months ago. The rack sat in my garage for 6 months. I was planning on using it but bought a cargo van instead for my business. It's states in the agreement that basically after 90 days nothing they can do. I found a rear bumper for my tundra that I loved. I called and asked if I could bring back the rack and get an in store credit. Alex said yes absolutely bring back the rack and we will give you store credit. Went back and got the bumper. However, as I am taking my winter tires off (Which they put on), I noticed that they managed to cross thread 4 of my studs, so I had to get them replaced. I’ve bought lots of truck parts from these guys and they have just been getting worse over the years. I just ordered running boards they said two weeks they would be in, 3rd week and nothing they say oh pay an extra 50 bucks and we can get it shipped out right away. So after the 4th week still no running boards and I’m out a extra 50 bucks. Finally they show up about the 5th week well over a month of being ordered then they aren’t even open on he weekend to go pick it up. Save your time and money and do more research and find a local distributor heck even eBay is better

You wait on the phone because they don't wanna take your call: I bought 5x wheels for my Jeep back in June and haven't received them yet. Every time I try calling to their store it takes them over 40 min to answer, always followed by a harsh reply "it's still in back-order". After months of wait, hardly no updates nor contacts, running after them for answers - at that point I had already gave up on sending e-mails as they only answer them after you try for 3 days - I had finally decided to cancel my order. So, I call them, wait for the 40 min thingy and they tell me it had to be done in person. So, I go to their store and it's like a ghost town, no costumers, they had two employees at the time, and only one guy asking for a body shop around town. One of them was talking to this guy, and the other was simply there watching their conversation. After a few minutes of wait and still no help, a third person came out of their office to help assist me, he said my cancellation had to be approved by their financial personnel. While I was talking to their financial I noticed that there was someone on the phone waiting to be helped even before I arrived, and by the time I noticed, the guy asking for a body shop was long gone. So the two employees could and chose not to pick up the phone right away, and waited a few more minutes. Eventually one of them did, but that was a long wait for the poor costumer on the other line. So yeah, they had two people there to talk to their costumer on the line and neither of them did. And from what I could see, that's why it takes us 40 min on the line to get someone to help, not because they are busy, but rather because they are probably instructed to avoid it. I'm giving one star for costumer service, and two stars because in the end I got my money back. However, I won't come back to this shop. Not until things get better in US soil.

I'm surprised they are still in business at this point, especially given the widley recognized lack of follow up on customer inquiries. I could leave an essay on how bad the service was. It’s truly embarrassing so here’s my story. I ordered around $1000 worth of parts to start mostly maintenance parts. No confirmation emails on my order for Delievery so I had to always call in and be on hold for 20-25min just as others are saying in previous 1 star comments. It took forever but honestly with covid I get that things are taking longer. What upset me the most wasn’t the wrong part showing up and having to reorder or waiting months for certain parts to come in (still waiting) or being on hold for an average of 20-25min minimum. It’s this when I drive to your location speak to multiple different people specifically asking that they please follow up call me to let me know with an update on the part needed to fix my Jeep and they say YES YES of course and never do. So I call and and talk to this nice girl on the phone who is probably the nicest staff person there and her exact words before I even asked her to follow up with ETA was “I will call you back by tomorrow with a status update” that was last week…. Maybe the staff there doesn’t have enough support or the business needs to be re-structured to have a better follow up process but clearly ownership doesn’t care at all. I didn’t want to leave this review I work in Sales and I know it hurts to hear these things and I truly have walked into that business and treated everyone with respect but enough is enough. My one star goes to the girl at the front counter who’s been helpful and if I could rate the business -5 Stars I would.

I used to like this store but after having quality issues with some parts I found out they don't stand behind their products. I have been trying to resolve this issue for 6 months and just keep getting ignored. They are super helpful when you are spending money but not so much if you have any problems. My receipt had a cry for help from the employee who took my order. She mentioned lack of lunchbreaks and short staff. On my receipt. It was awkward. She was super helpful though. I've been there once and Malcom was super helpful and informative. He didn't rush me, and talked me through all the options for what I was looking for. The reason I gave them a 3 instead of a 5 is because of two other customers that came in and were waiting in line for a long time. The 3 employees never once said "Hello I'll be with you in a second". I mentioned he could help them first because I was going to take 30-40 minutes, and I felt awkward having these customers just wait in silence but said not to worry Now I appreciate they want to serve me first but I mean these guys did not acknowledge those customers at all. The other two employees were talking to each other at the computer right in front of the customers too and never addressed them. No exaggeration, I think it was about ten minutes before they finally acknowledged their presence. If I was those customers I would have walked out. Malcom deserves 5 stars though.

They had the part I needed, but provided terrible customer service. Went in and ordered the part, was told it would take a week to ship and it would likely arrive on Tuesday. Called today to see what happened and was informed that it was ten-day shipping, and that the part likely wouldn't be in until Friday or Monday. Perhaps a minor inconvenience to some, but feels like I was lied to to make a sale. Especially given that I could have had this part fixed FOR FREE as a recall, but thought this would be quicker. Do not know how anyone can give 4wheel parts a review higher then 1 star. #1 - Bought a few small items and took 3 weeks to ship to my home from the website, and as others have stated "in stock" means nothing. The site is completely broken. #2 - The items are poorly explained on their website so one was not as stated while the other was fine. #3 - I wanted to return the items because one as stated was not as described while the other was not what I was looking for (correct item but I decided to go with something different) #4 - Called and was told it was better to come into store as the online department can take a long time to process returns. #5 - Get to the store (langley branch) and am told that my order cannot be returned as it was made online and needs to be handled by the online department, then was not privided with a proper reciept for return but instead sent a very generic email about my return request. #6 - 3 weeks go by and no refund, so I call and am told note will be left for the manager and the matter will be taken care of. #7 - They call me back asking how I paid and I told them visa debit and they told me "oh that never works over the phone and that I'll need to come into the store". I live 55min from the store, by this time Im pretty steamed. #8 - A Saturday morning 6 weeks after this started I walk into the store and give them my information and they are very friendly saying "yup I have your order right here" and try to refund me $5 on my debit and I say no the order had 2 items on it and they say "Oh yes I see it here" and bring another refund worth $90. So very angry I FINALLY get my money back and storm out of the store. 20 min after leaving the store my wife looks at the reciept and realizes that the first item they tried to return to me for $5 was taken off the return amount instead of being added to the other $90 item. So they still owe me $5. The langley store is extremely incompitent at every aspect of their job. I bought builder parts not bolt on parts because I build my Jeep myself, and guys like me don't spend $10,000 at these stores on parts and install so we are not important to them. I stopped going to big country customs in abbotsford and went to 4wp because they "SAY" they are more taylored to Jeeps instead of Toyos and they "SAY" they got parts in stock which is not true. I'll go elsewhere and for your own sanity I recommend you do to. I myself will be going back to BCC for my builder parts as they are far more nowledgable.

Don't order through them during covid. Was told a week and a month later they never shipped my order. Tons of emails and can't get a response. Everytime I call, its an hour to two hour wait on hold. When you finally get through, they transfer you around! You couldn't have any worse customer service. If covid is an issue with the company, they need to tell you that on the phone before ordering. I was told it will not be an issue at all. If they would of told me it'll take a month or two I would of been appreciative and made my choice then what to do. I'm beyond frustrated with the service of 4wp. Its a bummer when you spend almost a grand with a company and once they charge your account they have no concerns about the service you receive. Got an email saying they were in 2 months later, drove all the way from Richmond and found out it was a mistake email. I am growing increasingly frustrated at the lack of communication or customer service in regards to parts ordered with 4WP. I'm aware that COVID has delayed some things but my patience is running thin. Parts were ordered on June 5th and was told 2-3 weeks. Followed up after 3 weeks and was told Mid July. Now at the end of the month and still nothing. No follow up from 4WP. It's pathetic that I see other retailers all over western Canada receiving these parts but a large company like 4WP can't seem to get what they need out of their suppliers. Perhaps it's time 4WP looks else where for suppliers if they can't keep up. I was going to have 4WP install the ordered parts but I think I'll bring them back to my small town and have them installed locally. I'd rather spend my money here then on a larger company that can't deliver on anything they've said so far.

DON'T TRUST THE QUOTES! Called in last week for a quote for all 4 ball joints and a tonneau cover for my Ram, was told it would be around $1100 or $1200 for the ball joints including the alignment and around $1900 for the tonneau cover, all in around $3200 or so. When I went today to pre pay for the ball joints, all of a sudden the quote is now over $1800 for the ball joints and alignment. When I said I was told it was around $1100 or so, I was told that she had no idea who quoted me that. No accountability or anything from the one person at the counter, they didn't even care that I left. Won't be returning there anymore. And I was able to get premium ball joints, alignment, and labour for under $1300 at NAPA Auto Pro. Also, NAPA only charges around $300 for the ball joints if I wanted to do the work by myself.

Great customer service. My coilovers on my Tacoma broke and these guys helped pick out the parts gave me the rundown even though I can't purchase the parts from these guys because everything is on back order. Knowing that, these still guys spent an hour on the call talking about options with me and giving recommendations. This seems small thing but it definitely made an impression. Once i get my parts, ill go to these guys.

Ordered a lift for my f150 2 months in advanced of hunting season. Now hunting season is over and still no lift.. I have been waiting 180 days and counting. It would be one thing if I didn't already pay them over $1000 but here I am $1000 out of pocket and still no effing lift. EDIT : A lift showed up, but it is not the one i ordered. It is wrong on so many levels, wrong brand, wrong year of truck, and after a quick google this lift is worth half of what i paid... Brutal. I will be requesting a full refund obviously..

Terrible service and products. Ordered a set of wheels specifically for my truck and the rear centre caps don’t fit. I have been dealing with this for over 2 months, called the store at least 4 times and have gone into the store 4 times to try and get this rectified. Basically I was told we don’t have any different centre caps that will work for your truck sorry about your luck run the rims with out the caps. I was dealing directly with the assistant manager who could really use some customer service training because she feels that calling me 3 weeks after she ordered a different set of caps that were supposed to be in after 3 days, to tell me they have been discontinued and they have no further solutions is good service, she really doesn’t see anything wrong with this situation. I guess custom wheels with no centre caps is a good look for 4wheel parts.

Compete and utter disappointment. People come to places like this because they want to join the 4x4 community and meet new people based on a common interest. I mean the staff are ok and the work was fine, but they really have no respect for their customer base. Arrived here on a recommendation. The wait was way longer than it should have been. 2 months from start to finish for a relatively small job. Don't plan on them answering the phone either. The price was also astronomical. I was overcharged about $2000. Talked to more than a few people here in Vancouver who know about trucks, lifts and mods, the general consensus was: "4WP are bunch of crooks who obviously took advantage of your inexperience". Please don't go to this shop if you're not at least knowledgeable about 4x4ing. These guys will rip you off and smile while doing it. Nearly $6000 for a job that should have cost 3-4. Terrible service. Overpriced. Long wait times. The girl who works there is really nice though, so no offense to her. Not recommend. Stay away. Not even an E for Effort. My guess is they are going bankrupt from Covid and are greasing their customers for every penny they can pinch out of them.

Was a little shocked when returning an item and was charged a restocking fee of 10% of the product cost. Not noted anywhere on their invoice of this fee nor was it brought up when purchasing the items, however they feel that you should read every paper posted on their walls which this apparent policy is noted. I would suggest highly to deal elsewhere where the staff in knowledgable and helpful on the products they sell. I guess they still made money off me so they are happy however hopefully this will deter other from shopping here as I know I never will again. On another point, when the young woman behind the counter claims that superchips f5 performance tuner can be used on multiple vehicles and all you have to do is phone into superchips, she is absolutely incorrect. Deal elsewhere where the sales people know what they are talking about and are not just in the business to take your money. Good luck 4WP!

The customer service is very bad. I was calling them to confirm the pickup of the part that I purchased online. I tried to call them for 2 hours. The same lady would pick up the phone and say that she needs to put me on hold. The hold would never end. I would call again and she would do exactly same thing. She kept doing this for 2 hours and the store closed for the day. I could not pick up the part that day and had to cancel and move my appointment with the dealership to the next week.

(Translated) I bought an Optima BlueTop battery last year. The battery was completely finished, not keeping its charge at all. Obviously I realized it in the middle of a lake on a fishing trip. Fast forward to this year, I finally have access to a battery tester (internal resistance) and I am able to see that my battery is finished. It comes with a 2 year warranty. I call the merchant, who tells me to contact the manufacturer. I call the manufacturer, he tells me to contact the merchant. I call back 4wd parts, they tell me to come to the store. The Store is 50km from my home, and I'm going there. Once there, the guy at the counter told me he couldn't help me and contact the manufacturer ?? I call Optima from my cell in the store. I put Optima and the store in communication: they talk to each other for several minutes, in the manager's office, with my cell. In the end: I have to leave my battery in the store and they have to test it ?? (when I visited the store, I had my Hioki BT3554 battery tester with me but my measurements are not OK for them?) I test another bluetop and yellowtop, out of curiosity: yellowtop good, 2.3 mohm but the new bluetop they have for sale, also finished 13.4 mohm. The guy at the counter asks me "how do I charge my bluetop?" My answer: "With a motomaster battery charger, on the 10amp". The guy then tells me that it takes a special AGM charger for the optima: I told him that No it is not at all the case. I have to tell the guy to go see the web page of the product he sells and look at the charging instructions: absolutely no need for a "special" charger. Since then I have sent 1 email per week and I am told that my battery is still in tests ??? Let's see it takes no more than 2 days to charge and test a damn battery. I don't have much good things to say about my experience there. I would like someone else to sell Optima in my area but there is none. Not only is it really impractical to do business with them, but to be told in the store that you are not charging your battery properly by a guy who does not know his product is pissing. I feel like I'm being fooled. They should have exchanged my battery on the spot, in 1 visit. It is the store manager's decision not to honor the Optima warranty. Je test une autre bluetop et yellowtop, par curiosité : yellowtop good, 2.3 mohm mais la bluetop neuve qu'ils ont en vente, finie elle aussi 13.4 mohm. Depuis j'ai envoyé 1 email par semaine et on me dit que ma batterie est encore en tests ??? Voyons ça prend pas plus que 2 jours pour charger et tester une foutue batterie. J'ai pas grand chose de positif à dire de mon expérience là-bas. J'aimerais ça que quelqu'un d'autre vendre du Optima dans ma région mais y'en a pas. Non seulement c'est vraiment pas pratique de faire affaire avec eux, mais de se faire dire en magasin qu'on charge pas correctement sa batterie par un gars qui connait pas son produit ça fait chier. J'ai l'impression de me faire niaiser. Il auraient du échanger ma batterie sur place, en 1 visite. C'est la décision du gérant de magasin de ne pas honorer la garantie Optima.
