Le mécanicien a alors refusé de faire la réparation. Il a fallut faire remorquer le véhicule ailleurs, mais le mécanicien a voulu charger des frais pour "l'entreposage" de l'auto dans son garage. Évidemment, ce n'est pas légal. On a du appeler la police pour faire sortir le véhicule du garage. On a appelé une remorqueuse en leur disant de nous contacter lorsqu'ils seraient sur les lieux. Avant de nous appeler, le chauffeur à dabord discuté avec le mécanicien, qui lui a "parlé de police", ce qui a fait fuire la remorqueuse. Il nous a ensuite appelés pour nous répéter de faire quitter notre véhicule de son stationnement! Il a fallut appeler une 2e remorqueuse et l'attendre sur place pendant 30 min pour être sûrs que le mécanicien n'allait pas encore là faire fuire. Pire expérience de service à la clientèle au monde!!!

To start off, this is a review left two days after the fact, to make sure the review is not written in the heat of the moment, so I had time to think about it quite a bit. I had an appointment at 3:30 on Tue (23 Jun 2020) for changing my tires, appointment I made last week. Since I had to take time off work, I called on Tue somewhere around noon to confirm the appointment at 3:30 to prevent wasting unnecessary time if the service can't be rendered at 3:30. I did this because I know sometimes appointments move around, overbooking, maybe COVID-related situations. I got confirmation that 3:30 is still OK and I was there at 3:20. Due to COVID, I did not want to wait inside for the tire change and I told them to call me when the tires are changed so I can come pick up my car. They agreed to call. Skipping forward, at roughly 4:40 I still got no call from them and thought they simply forgot to call me, so I went back to the garage. To my surprise, the car was still not moved from the place I last left it. Asked why this happened, they said it's the next in line and immediately took it inside. About 10 minutes later, I get a call from the receptionist telling me the car is ready and I should come in and pay. Right after I pay, they tell me the car is NOT ready and will be out soon. The car was finally out at 5:12. So, to sum this up: 1. Even though I confirmed 3 h prior the appointment, the service was rendered roughly 1h 15 mins late, which affected not only my work, but also some of the plans I had after the garage visit. 2. They asked me to pay for the service before I got the car returned, which never happened to me before at any of the garages I have been to before. 3. No apology was given for the poor service. Cherry on the cake, the front left tire is now deflated which can be one of two things: they didn't bother to inflate it properly or there is a problem with the rim itself. I am guessing it's the second, since another garage pointed that out before, that the rim is dented and it might cause problems. Midas did not know I was aware of that and if they were a garage worth its salt, they should have pointed out the problem. To top it all off, my mother had an issue with them recently as well: changed the oil there and they didn't cap the oil tank, which caused oil leaks. This not only stained her brand new driveway, and on the engine, but also caused her car to stop in the middle of the road, luckily not on the highway. Just like in my case, no apology was given for the poor service and they acted like it was no big deal, even though it could have caused a serious accident. I would definitely suggest avoiding Midas Chateauguay AT ALL COSTS. To whomever is the moderator and answers these reviews, don't bother replying. The decision is made, this Tue was the last time I came to Midas Chateauguay.

J'aurais aimé savoir cela avant de faire installer mes pneus, car si j'aurais su que mes pneus était trop usés et déformés, j'aurais acheté d'autres pneus... Et l'employé me dit que si je vois que mes pneus tiennent mal la route sur la neige et la glace que je devrais acheter d'autres pneus et retourner pour faire installer encore mes pneus ! La prochaine fois, j'irai faire installer mes pneus au Canadian Tire

Ensuite, nous sommes 5 dans l'air d'attente à regarder nos cellulaires lorsque j'entends "votre véhicule est prêt".... Ne sachant trop s'il s'agit du mien ou celui des clients je cherche à voir en regardant les autres. On me dit "Madame, c'est le vôtre, j'ai pas dû parler assez fort"... ce n'est rien de "grave", mais encore une fois, pour une faute de manque de précision, on manque un peu de professionnalisme! Pour terminer, on me remet les clés en ne m'indiquant pas où se trouve mon véhicule dans le stationnement. Ce sont de petits détails vous me direz? Certes, mais le manque de courtoisie me fera opter pour un autre garage la prochaine fois!
