I've recommended North Island Lube to my family, and they plan to switch from another local lube place, which hasn't provided good service to them.

Went in for an oil change, they didn't have the filter for my truck, I said no problem if I go buy the filter can you do the oil change? One guy said sure, so I go buy it and then I'm told by someone else they won't use it as it will "void my warranty". Told 2 different things they need to figure it out. Went to Great Canadian Oil Change instead and it was no problem at all.

I went to this place twice (after the first time I thought I would give them a second chance, as the first time I went quite late in the day) and both times only received an oil change. Although the receipt they provided said they had inspected other things, also their website states they do an inspection with the oil change. I emailed the manager about this and he said he was going to get his assistant manager to phone me, I'm still waiting....

When I called them they said they will do other inspections of my car as well but other but only did oil change and on invoice they states that they have checked everything????????. They also charge $20 extra then the regular price they say!!

We are from out of town and Shawn at Nrth Island Lube was awesome. We were worried about out transmission and he checked out everything and assured us we didn't need a transmission flush. He could have told us we needed something we didn't. Fair, friendly, knowledge. All around great place to deal with. I would highly recommend North Island Lube!! Thanks for great service.

I had the best oil change service ever at this location, even while I was away from home on holidays. The owner took care of my vehicle personally even though it's an atypical model (a Japanese make, the Mitsubishi Delica), no questions asked. He took the time to provide an excellent quality service, to show me the fluids he was testing and to answer my questions about them. His friendly conversation brightened my day and I rolled out of his service bay with a smile on my face. I'll make sure to always come back to this store in the future when I need an oil change on the long road up island, I recommend it!

Had an oil change done, they put the cap on wrong and my engine light came on. I went back to them the next day and they told me they couldn't help but they would get someone to call me who could. No one called. So I brought my car to a different shop and they had to fix my car which cost me more money. I called north island lube to tell them what had happened and they gave me the run around and wouldn't even own up to their mistake and made me feel like a liar. Therefore I will never go back to their shop for anything and if I were you I wouldn't either. Only going to cost you more money in the end.
