fast, friendly, knowledgeable service with a very good selection of tires at a fair price too. this was not the first time buying tires for my 2010 Honda from them either. every time i go there they are always happy to serve me which includes staying open a bit beyond normal business hours. however i usually am there before 7pm closing. this late closing gives me the opportunity to finish work and still make it to get my tires replaced. i enjoy the help and service that i get her that any time i need tires my first and only stop is here

Updating this review, to say that I have again experienced, professional and high quality service when I went there with a leaky tire, from a nail from my driveway of all thinks. I have purchased several sets of 4 tires from Good Tire most recently two months ago, this is the 3rd set of Summer tires. I received the same excellent service, and intend to return for all my tire needs for all my vehicles and trailers. They have very flexible hours, can be counted on for service and repairs on Tires. When I purchased winter tires, they found rims, so changing tires for the season was a simple task. I recommend them highly, They have been my place for tires now since 2011.

I was quoted about a $1,000 from Kaltyre and got quoted a fraction of that over here. Definitely a lifelong customer now. Went in looking for a couple of tires and the guy gives me a price then I say to let me see them in the back and he roughly points at them on a tall tire rack and when I ask him about the brand or even if he could pull down the tires for me to see he didn't know anything about the tires and he couldnt pull them down. Went to have 4 tired taken off the rim and 4 other tires put back on the rims. Factory 20's for a 1500 ram no install on truck just swap tires on rims. He wanted 40$ per wheel 160 plus tax he swore up and down it takes way longer, so called 2 other places the both said 25 and thats balanced and he said he would install no charge if I want. This guy is a joke bad costomer service for sure would never go back and will tell everyone I know never to go here. Scam!

Came here to get a used tire. They never assisted in removing the damaged tire nor did they assist in placing the new tire on. Also he didn’t want to make an official sale with receipt because he didn’t want to be liable if anything happened to the tire. For example if it blew up.

Refused to honor medical exemption very rude would recommend taking your business elsewhere. As I did with absolutely no issues at the very next business I visited had no problem performing the same service. Its a sad day and age when businesses start discriminating against people and feel it necessary to enforce the law upon fellow citizens when they actually have no idea what the law is.

hands down the best costumer service in the city ! we purchased two new winter tires and did tire rotation when i checked the tires the nuts on the rim caps were loose , so i phoned the shop and the owner came over to my address in 15 minutes and personally rechecked and re torqued all four tires also we didn't receive any invoice when we purchased the tires he offered to have them ready whenever we go there for re torque! highly recommended give this guys a try!and if you have any issues talk to AJ.

These guys were great! I found them through a google search for a slight emergency fix. Helped me out on a busy Sunday and were up front with the choices! A quick fix for cheap or a better fix for more money. Chose the long lasting fix and was out within an hour and a half. Owner and his guys were super friendly and accommodating.

Went there last Sunday for a tire repair. Before going to Good Tire I went earlier to Walmart Mr. Lube at Northland paid $26.00 just to be advised that my tire could not be repaired since the hole is near the wall of the tire. After that went to Costco since I'm a member thinking they might be able to repair it. The Costco employee was courtous enough to advise me that if the hole is near the tire wall they could not do it and told me to try to find a tire shop bt 17 Ave. SE since if the shop there would be selling a good 2nd hand tire if they could not repair your tire. I went home googled some tire shop by the SE area and saw Good Tire is open 7 days a week all other shop in the area are closed on Sunday. I called them and asked if they repair tire and the person who answered yes and told to just come down the shop and wait while they take a look at my tire. Went there right after I called and walked in the shop and said that my tire needs repair. The person at the store front advise me to bring the vehicle at the back and they will take a look at it. 10-15 mins later the shop personnel told me that there is a hole near the wall but they were able to fix it. He told me that if the tire loose some air again to bring it back and they will tire to repair it. If they will not be able to repair it he said that he willl try find the same brand used tire to replace it since the set of tire that I have has still have some good tread life. They are very accomodating and gives you the most practical options that doesn't need a whole a lot of money. The best part of the experience is I only paid $30.00 for the work they have done. This experience have told me not to go to those BIG NAME SHOPS since they only want is your money if they can get a way with it. A BIG HIGH FIVE FOR GOOD TIRE!!!!

EXCELLENT SERVICE!!!! Was told by Costco Airdrie that they could not fix my slow leak due to where the nail placement was and that i needed to buy 4 brand new tires. I went to Good tire and they had me in and out within 10 minutes with a fixed tire! staff is super friendly and know what they are doing. I've never had a problem with these guys, hence why I keep going back. They always take care of me and my Charger in a very quick and professional manner. Ended up having two construction nails puncture two different tires last summer and both repairs took less than 10 minutes combined. Both tires are still running strong. Prices are also great. Beware. Took my van in for a tire rebalance. Was told it was ready and that I had a bent rim. I had two different treads front to rear and when I went outside they had only rotated one side. Uneven treads can cause transmission failure. Took it back inside and they rotated the other side. When asked why I still had old weights on two tires, they said they liked to spin them first to see how far out they are. Which is ok, but both sides still need to be removed or you can still get a false zero with more weight than necessary. They have good intentions, but didn't really get the full benefits of the service paid for.

Didnt seal my tires on the rims properly when they changed them from winter to summer. Ended up having to get them resealed at Heritage Honda and paying another $100.00 for it. Will never go back to them. Obviously safety isn't their biggest concern

Just avoid this shop, buddy doesn't play it fair or he just has no idea how to properly balance new 20" A/T tires at all, even on the second try. Had to go to a different shop where they finally did it right, they just needed one and only try and they actually let me watch what they are doing (see the numbers).

When I run over nails and things in my neighbourhood that is always under construction, they take me in almost immediately. Even seasonal tire changes are quick and affordable. Best service in town. We have been using this place to buy/change our tires for few years now. They always offered us same day service. They have plenty of great tires and rims in stock even for luxury cars. None of that “we have to order them in”nonsense. Couple of years ago they provided us great options of winter tires with the rims for my X5, not even BMW was able to offer those. This year we called them on the most snowy day and they were able to arrange and fir brand new winter tires for my Audi. Very professional and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!!

I had a long story today what happened to our RV’s tire and luckily found this shop in Calgary. Originally i went one of the Canadian Tire store to re-torque the tire of our RV where the tire has been replaced in the middle of the hwy 1 trans canada. The guy who replaced the tire and told me to go back to any tire shop for re-torque and check the condition for just in case after 100 kms. You will see my other review for the Canadian Tire store how horrible experience i had with them today. Long story short, Good Tire company has the best employees and the employer i have ever experienced in terms of the tire replacement / fix. When you expect the major brands would solve your issue right away,but unfortunately it is not. Please always use the local shops that they definitely give you the best service no doubt. They are very helpful and give you even more information than you need and that sometimes saves your life which they made mine today.

Good Tire has always treated myself and other customers with respect and honesty. I recall one time that a customer was accidentally overcharged due to miscommunication on the type of tires put on the vehicle by $25. They called the customer and ensured that they came in to refund that money to the customer even when the customer had no idea of what had taken place. It strikes me as possibly being easy to rationalize that $25 is small money and the customer didn't know, but that would not reach the level of ethics the owners run their business with. They have great prices and service.

Took my mini van ask to change summer tires to winter tires. The owner which is the elder guy has rude tune of voice but I didnt really care as long does the job . However, they finish putting the tires I ask one his son if please cheack tire pressures which should be part of their job . He said don’t worry all good . The next day I cheak the tires pressures and the were all low pressures. It seems not big deal but what if you’re pregnant wife drive it on snow with that . Anyways if you guys take you’re vehicle there make sure they do the proper work and inspect before drive a way .

Plus, I thought this shop deserves five stars just by the fact that they open throughout the whole weekend. I do not see any shop opening even on Sunday. I was recommended by my older brother to go and get some winter tires for my car. I went in and had a conversation with AJ. He was amazingly helpful. Explained what would be best for my car and even explained the difference between some of the options. In the end we went with the best choice for my specific car. Price was great. Service was quick and easy. It felt like I went into my buddies shop to stop but and ended up buying tires! They even packed my summer tires in plastic bags so the tires wouldn't get my car dirty! I've already decided in the spring I will be going back to get new rims and tires from these guys! I would 100% recommend them to anyone and everyone. The Last 12 years I have been all over and by far I can't describe the services here, just imagine first class in a plane than you awake to the smell of fine rubber lol, seriously for a tire shop it's as if your being served in a slum of HEAVEN. It was amazing to talk to someone who actually knew what they were doing. I've had rude calls elsewhere, and ridiculous prices for winter tires on my car. This place was not only reasonable, but extremely friendly and I'm excited to get my tires on Sunday. I actually could ask him the brand of winter tires (I had a specific one in mind to buy already after doing my own research) without him freaking out at me like other places, and they actually had the proper size for my car as well as plenty of those tires. they had over 100 in stock and other places only had 2 and told me to shop around to find the other 2, wouldn't order them in for me. Needless to say, this has been the fastest and best experience buying new tires, which is great because when you're spending lots of money you would want to deal with someone professional and knowledgeable, which this place absolutely is! Thank you for making my decisions so much easier and painless.

Excellent guys working here. Small local shop with very friendly staff. I was surprised at their good service level. Its beyond my expectation. My tire on my awd lexus popped and I was driving on the rim and had the spare put on temporarily. I called Good Tire and asked if they had my tire in stock. The staff said they would search for that brand and specifications and called me back within 30 min and i dropped by to replace it without an appointment. Very good service and quality. The staff was quick and knowledgeable and the total time to replace the tire was 15min. Earlier i had gone to Kal Tire earlier but they recommended that i replace all 4 tires (new tires only avaialble) to balance it for AWD vehicle. Kal Tire could only order the tires in for Monday (3 day wait) as they they didn't carry any in stock. I only needed one tire with a specific tread wear to balance it on my lexus SUV. So I reached out to Good Tire. Good Tire searched for the appropriate replacement and called me within 20 min to come by for replacement. Bonus is that they open until 7pm on Saturday because i was planning on driving on the highway this weekend. Go and see Good Tire. Priced well and instant service above and beyond. I will be seeing them for future tires most definitely!

I went to Good Tire today (20/05/2015) looking for a full replacement for my balding all season tires on my Corolla and the owner/operator was really friendly and gave me a wicked good deal on brand new all-seasons tires meant for lots of driving. The knowledge of the owner was perfect; he does know what he is talking about and the service was relatively quick. They removed the tires without a problem and quickly installed the new tires on my rims professionally. I would recommend this place to everyone ! its fairly priced and you get new (if you want new) or used if you looking for used.

Today I came to get my sets of fuel rims and Bf goodrich KO2 tires installed. From the time I open the door up to the end of appointment these guys made sure that I got everything that I needed. AJ was very nice to offer some great prices on my sets and even the guys that installed my sets are very nice and polite. It took no time when I was willing to wait for 2 hrs. Great service at a fair price. They get you in and out quickly. They even had the winter rims I needed in stock and said they could install them immediately. I may have been simply lucky they had rims that fit the car in stock, but they didn't hesitate to install them either. I'm used to shops saying they are booked up and come back with an appointment in a few weeks. Amazing. I've never had such great service at a tire shop.

I went there to get a tire repaired. They did nothing but plug it (I could do that at home) instead of repairing it internally like any reputable tire shop would have. They also filled the tire way too much. My tire has a psi of 35 and when I checked it later that day they had filled it past 60 psi. They were also very rude. Definitely will not be back!!

First of all thanks for Google reviews it really helps most of the time to make a decision. Now about the review, its so very negative, my 4.5 hours were wasted and job wasn't done, the Guy I dealt with, maybe an owner has no idea what customer service is, he told me on the phone to bring the car in right away for tire change and it will be hour or hour and a half, so I did, left the car at 9.45 am, called back at noon then he said between 2-3 hours, so I called back again at 1pm no answer, called again at 1.30 and was told we will call you right back (no call back for half an hour) so I called back at 2pm and he told me again 20 minutes and it will be ready, I finally went back at 2.30 pm and saw my car was just brought in, I asked why you guys don't tell the customer that you can't do it in the time you promise, he said I told you it will be minimum 3 to 4 hours which was a complete lie, His kid was way nicer, who apologized and said Sir it will be 15 mins we will get it done and we will give you discount, then the Father came out and said you told my kid you don;t want it so I already put the old tire back take your car, and give me the death stare and left. He is charging $25/tire which almost every big dealership charges anyways but million times better service. I will never bother again to waste my time with this place and get attitude at the end of no work done rather than an apology. So please if you want to get your tires change go to a dealership or a really cheap mechanic where at least you expect attitude for paying $10/tire. This Good tire is not good at all and should be called Worst Tire. - 1 star.

HONESTY, AFFORDABILITY, QUALITY. Went to the competition with a screw in one tire. They said it was not fixable and tried to sell us a pair of tires for $585. Went to Good Tire instead. They fixed it in ten minutes for $25. Said 90% sure fix would hold, but that if it didn't, they would take the price of the repair off the cost of a new tire. Have been driving on their repair for over a month with no issues.

Being the second good service experience I've had here I decided to review good tire. They had me in same day call and like last time came in with good pricing and a solid tire this time. Just one winter replacement and they matched the tread almost perfectly. the 4 all seasons I got last spring are holding up awesome as well. For 70$ I was happy installed with my own rim. It's a 4.8 in my eyes not sure how to do that part here. Really nice guys and ya just wicked service and honesty. Would 10/10 recommend them to family, friends, teachers lol everyone. At a time when everyone is changing over to winter tires, Good Tire got me in that afternoon and put a second hand tire I'd picked up on the rim, new valves, balanced and installed within a quarter of an hour. Good Tire is absolutely the BEST tire shop I have ever been to. They are knowledgeable, professional, very friendly fellas, extremely quick and efficient at all their services. The Good Tire guys put Tirecraft, Fountain, Kal, Canadian Tire Etc to shame. I'm excited that after all these years, I have found a Tire Shop with excellent service that is quick, affordable, honest and reliable. My experience was a very positive one. Leaving on a trip over the long weekend when I discovered one of my tires was punctured. I called Good Tire and AJ assured me they could fix it in 15-20 minutes. I took the tire off and brought it in to them and AJ met me at the door. It was repaired within 20 minutes as promised. Altogether, my trip was delayed by less than an hour. Very impressed that they were able to fix it so quickly and for a reasonable price. I will be using Good Tire again.

A few years ago I found goodtire. At the time I lived 45 minutes away. I found the service really nice and affordable. I go to goodtire for all seasonal switch overs and other hiccups. The other day I got a flat tire. I went to my local tire shop in bowness and they had no interest in helping me without me buying a tires for 400$ so I went to good tire and they patched the tire and had me on my way within the hour! Really great service. I will continue to drive the distance!

Amazing service and prices! I contacted Good Tire to enquire about changing my BMW run flat tires to regular winter tires. The owner took the time to answer all of my questions and suggested a set of tires that he said would be excellent in snow and ice. Living in Canmore, we have challenging winter driving conditions. I was skeptical, but went ahead and purchased the set he recommended. I could not say enough great things about these tires! I am so happy that I took his advice. The ride is soft and smooth yet handles great in heavy snow, ice, and on regular road conditions. Plus these tires were much more affordable than run flats. The owner didn't try to up-sell or add on unnecessary services like many shops do with female buyer. He was very kind and thoughtful and went above and beyond in the service he provided. I've been driving on these tires for 5 months now and love them! These guys are rip off artists STAY AWAY !! Called last week made a deal on tires over the phone and made an appointment for 9am Saturday. When I show up at 9 the place is closed up tight , the guy finally roles in at 930 and tells me he was having problems out back (after I saw him pull up a second before) . Then he tells me that since a don't have a written quote that it is now $30 more per tire . I told him that his father quoted me over the phone and then made the appointment so how would I get a written quote. By this time my car was up on jacks so I went back on told them to take it down and got the heck outta there. The other reviews must be from friends and family I think Google should check these things before posting them.

Horrible service during and after!!! Called to speak to a manager and the person was basically laughing and said y’a I guess that’s me. Went to get front tires installed agreed on a price then when we picked up our vehicle he said there was a nail and he fixed it no problem. Then charged us $25 for plugging it when we never authorized it or even seen it. Originally said it was a screw and then said a hole. When asked why he said fixed it no problem he didn’t say at a charge what so ever then laughed and said well I didn’t do it for free. Scammers!!!!

Bought 4 used winter tires with steelies for a great deal! The tires and steelies were in excellent almost new condition. I easily saved $300 - 400 by going here. Very busy shop depending on the time you go and they do their best to provide good service. I was in need of tires ASAP and got an appointment early the very next day! In about an hour or less of waiting I was back on the road. I called around a few other places before and would have had to wait a few days to get in and their prices were more expensive as well. Ask for uncle AJ, he’ll definitely give you a fair price! Also if you want to save some money ask to see if there are any lightly used tires and rims. Definitely recommend this place.

This company is the worst! I went there to have my tires changed and I specifically asked for a certain brand of tires but they put a cheaper brand but charged me for the price of the more expensive one. I asked them and they said it’s because they don’t have the brand I asked for in stock. But they didn’t ask me if I’m okay with the ones they’re putting. And they charged me for the expensive ones! If I hadn’t noticed it, they would just pretend that they did nothing wrong. I had to come back for them to do it again. This time, wow. They were able to change my tires in 2 minutes. My oil change was due with Nissan a month after. They checked my car and found out that I need wheel alignment. I couldn’t believe it.These guys just changed my tires without doing it properly. Now I spent another $200 to have the wheel alignment done when I shouldn’t have needed it if they had just done their job properly. Not coming back. I suggest you guys check the tires they’re installing before they even install it.

I could not be happier with my purchase from Good Tire. The service was amazing and the tires and rims I bought look amazing! I quite literally walked in with my sleeping two year old in my arms (he's a great sleeper) and was given help immediately - found everything I needed - for an excellent price and everything was able to be installed that day. I even came back a couple of days later because my husband had some questions, which were answered fully - resulting in my husband also being very satisfied with the purchase. I confess I'm a little late with my review, having purchased my new tires and rims in June but I wanted to ensure if there is anyone out there looking for a great place to go that treats you with respect and has quality products for reasonable prices (let alone phenomenal service) I would strongly recommend Good Tire.

I discovered this tire shop online after searching several places for a difficult to find size of tire for my car. One phone call confirmed the proper size and within 24 hours they were installed on my car on the day of the first snowfall, when most tire shops will begrudgingly book you an appointment several weeks down the road, making you feel like you are a real nuisance to even be calling them. They could all learn a few lessons about customer service from Good Tire. I just had my second vehicle in to have a new set of winter tires installed. I will gladly make the trip from the SW to have my tires serviced in the future. Thanks to AJ and everyone else who worked on my tires!

I have been using this place for years now. Every time I have a problem, need tires switched over this is the only place ill go. They are nice, honest, fair and trustworthy. I'm beyond happy. Recently I needed 2 tires and 2 rims, everywhere wanted ridiculous amounts and then for me to wait weeks. I was in, in a few days because they had to order my tires. Once I got there turns out I needed only rims and sensors. Saved a lot of money, when they could have just lied to me. Will forever go back.

First Impression for first time visit was probably one of the best I've experienced. Not only is this shop the most friendly ive come across. BUT they're open on Sundays! To be able to walk into a busy shop and seeing reception busy on the phone, its nice to be acknowledged even while he was on the phone by giving a simple wave from the back of the shop. Highly recommended!

Had to write a review regarding Dimitry loffe. I was getting a tire repair and this customer came in and demanded full refund on a set of new tires with wheels after 3 weeks of use, owner was very polite and offered most of his money or a new set of tires. He then threatened the owner, horrible person. This place is amazing, great price great service.

I’m from out of province, needed a tire repair, utilized good tire, while the service was fast, the job was done poorly, and my tire is completely flat due to a slow leak caused by them - in my initial call with them they said they’d fix it if I I came in, but I’m from out of province and couldn’t drive on the high away again, without having to repair their poor excuse for a tire repair. Instead of a refund, I’d have to pay even more money fixing their mistake, and then go to their store to probably have what was fixed reversed. Could not recommend if you want a safe and reliable place.

Pro: No appointment needed and open 7 days a week. Good price as well Con: Some of their workers get too excited with the air tools. Had 3 of my lug nuts cross threaded from my last visit. UPDATE: Issue has been resolved and wheel studs were replaced the same day I brought it in. Honest shop.

I can not say it enough how amazing this company is. The staff are wonderful over the phone and in person. They fit me in no problem and got everything done so fast. The people there are extremely kind and helpful. This is the only place my family goes for their tire needs for all the vehicles. Had a flat tire on Thanksgiving day, and work on Tuesday. Just my luck. I doubted anyone was open but I checked anyway. They were the only shop open. I went in and they were very friendly. They tire unfortunately could not be repaired. The staff showed me why it couldn't be repaired -- screw literally in the sidewall. They found me a secondhand tire with similar shape and installed it at a reasonable price. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. Awesome guys with great hours. I'll be back for sure.

Sold us a set of tires with defect - which they themselves eventually fully admitted - but still only reimbursed us about 80% of the cost. Claimed it was their manufacturer's fault, but why on earth as a consumer should I incur any loss for that?! Unfair treatment, and very questionable customer service. Definitely not ever going back to that joint.
