Great spot to take your car because they don't pressure you. I spoke to the owner about some bad reviews, like the guy that came for an oil change but needed to change a belt and something ends and then paid 150$. That's a deal! Changing my belts cost me 150$. His labour and oil change was basically free.... Maintaining a car is expensive and these guys warranty their work. Overall good, efficient and friendly service at decent value. To those only looking for deals, Craigslist has plenty of backyard mechanics but you get what you pay for.

Went there to change oil, brought all my staff plus air filter (which I was going to change myself, just left it on the seat). When they finished, I didn't find the filter and decided they were super nice and changed it. But when I checked a few days after, the filter was as dirty as before! Very disappointed

I manage a small fleet of vehicles and I take them all to North Road Auto. They do efficient and accurate work. Sabi tells me what is needed but also tells me what can wait for next time. Further, he will suggest options I hadn't thought of that will save wear and tear and maintenance over time. Excellent shop.

I bought my first car last year & i would always do my oil change at Mr Lube and never had an issue. They would always update me on what needs to be changed and update me on different things. We took my car here and they did the oil change but never mentioned my car needed Anti freeze. Usually when you go to a place for a service like an oil change they're suppose to tell you what else needs servicing. My car ended up overheating and the water pump started to leak along with making a hole in the engine. Moral of the story is don't be fooled by their cheap oil change service. I would never take another car to these guys and would never suggest another person to go here for servicing.

North Road Auto Repair is amazing. This summer my car was over heat. I had to fix right way, North Road Auto just around by. I never try this store but no option. My car is old, I didn't want spend a lot money for it. The owner suppose off at 5:00pm, I was lived in Chilliwack, had to drove back at the same day. The fun of my car didn't work and was too late too order new one, he fixed the fun and spend a lot of time, he was over time work and even didn't charge me for it, all he did just help me out... I'm very appreciated. The cost was very reasonable. Good skill, since he fixed it, the same problem never happened again. He put the customer first. He deserve all great word for him. I went to his store again to fix my car. They checked my car and found problem, gave my info and advise . The owner is very honest nice guy. 100% recommend to come here if your car need to repair.

the engine light on my 2003 corolla a turned on and Ravi tested and reset it for free as it was the gas cap sensor, other shops would've taken the opportunity to give me the list of problems that my car has. As others said, the guy at front desk is off putting, basically just rude. Called them ahead, booked the time for oil change. When I got there I was notified that the entire team is having a lunch that would last for about an hour and then they probably will take my vehicle in and will oil change will take at least half an hour (!) I don't know where they have learned about cars, obviously they have no clue about business ethics.

These folks were cheaper than the deal and the surrounding shops, they communicated very well and did not try and up sell me or anything. I took my truck To North Road Auto Repair because the idle was stuck on a high rev and didn't want to drive it across town to my regular mechanic, big mistake! I told them that the engine light is on and has been on for over a year and if they hook it up to diagnostics the catalytic converter code will show up but to ignore that since it had always been on it was not the issue. They called me later and told me it was the catalytic converter since that's the only code that came on and it would cost my $1000-1200 to fix it. I asked them if they knew what a catalytic converter does because if they knew they would know it has NOTHING to do with the high idle. I asked them if they checked the IAC (idle air control valve) or if there was a vacuum leak. They said they had not and that they would have to tear the truck part to look for something like that. I WAS SHOCKED. In the meantime I had called my regular mechanic and he told me what I had already known and told the North Road mechanic, that it's no way the catalytic converter. I got my truck towed to my regular mechanic and within half an hour they confirmed it was it IAC valve and with parts and labour it cost my just under $200. I would never recommend this auto shop. They are incompetent,ignorant and lazy. Maybe it's because I am a female and they thought I didn't know a thing about engines. Maybe they should think twice about judging people based on what gender they are before trying to rip them off royally. It's not a good way to start of a fairly large and new auto shop. I will be going in to show them the repair bill from my mechanic and tell them they are not a reputable auto shop. I'm sure they won't be bothered since they don't seem to have a conscience anyway. You take very high risk dropping your vehicle off at that shop.

Can I give this business 6 stars? 5 stars... and not a, hey nothing bad happened 5 stars, but an enthusiastic “this is an awesome business “ 5 stars!!! I arrived at work (a couple of blocks from this business) this morning with “car troubles” the kind that make me think “do I really want to drive this thing home? (The problem was an Oil Pressure Switch) So, I found them online and , when they opened, I called and they let me bring them my problem right away.... no notice, just off the street. So, I did not have to ask myself “should I drive this thing home today.” They told me to leave it with them and they would call in about an hour. They meant it! 50 Minutes later, they called. They did not take advantage of a fella who oh-so-obviously knows nothing about cars .... (Mechanic: is that a something litre or a something-point-something litre? Me: uhm, it’s blue....). They told me what was wrong, the required repair, and a pretty reasonable price. They told me it would take 2-3 hours... and they meant it too? The thing was ready in about 2 1/2 hours... so I did not have to figure out “how am I gonna get home without my pickup truck?” I may not know anything about auto repair but I have purchased many many goods and services in this lifetime. I have rarely, if ever, been so impressed with the quality of what I received in return.

I went to other auto shops for a price but most of them were too costly & told me ok we can fit you in next week. These guys fixed a problem that had been lingering for months! I had brought my truck in twice to my Nissan dealer and they couldn't find the problem (rough idle). I gave up on them and called around, luckily I found these guys... They found and fixed the issue, within an hour of dropping it off! Turns out, it was a small leak in my radiator. Very happy with their service, truck has been running great ever since! Would highly recommend this place.

They are very accommodating and honest I went here on a Saturday because I got a flat. They said they were very busy but they will try their hardest to fit me in. At around 2pm I recieved a call from them saying they inspected the tire and they couldn't repair it because the nail was to close to the side wall. I was off to catch a flight the next morning and wasnt going to be home for 2 weeks so they said to pick it up cause they didnt have my tire and they didn't charge me anything. My husband now brings his car here for all his services. If you are looking a mechanic I recommend that.

I was the second customer but still, I've waited for 2 hours and 30 minutes just to change my tires to winter tires! Extremely overpriced - if you are just going for a cheap oil change and not afraid of having a $1 oil filter installed on your car, go for it; I got a $1500 quote from this location for a simple repair. I left, and eventually found another place only charging $100. Not sure why they are still in business. Yes, the staff can be friendly, but this friendliness is, overpriced.

The light to have my brakes checked by a dealer came on Sunday afternoon and I called North Road Auto about 10 minutes before they were to close. I asked if the could help and they said to try checking and topping up the brake fluid rather than trying to book me in right away. The following day was a stat holiday. We topped up the fluid and..guess what? That light went off!!! At the back of my mind I knew I needed the brakes done anyway but based on them not trying to convince me to come in and that they helped with the advice on the fluid without getting anything in return, I brought my car to them the following weekend. The did the breaks in a few hours and for cheaper than we’d been quoted anywhere else and were extremely professional and pleasant while they were at it. 100% recommend and will only take my car here going forward.

I have always been going to North Road Auto for my car maintenance and repair since I had very bad customer service experience from the owner of Minit-Tune Coquitlam. North Road Auto never fails to deliver the best customer care. They have reasonable pricing and I very much appreciate the owner's business honesty. Just today, I brought my car in to check the problem on my clutch after I accidentally knocked it out making the clutch pedal go up. They checked it and adjusted it. I was ready to pay for the service when the owner said that this is so minor that he did not charge me for it. This took about 15 minutes of their precious time considering they were so busy today. Thank you North Road Auto! You guys are excellent!!! :)

My favourite garage. I've been there a lot of times. Always receives great service. The shop owner Sibi is a very honest person. Yesterday, I brought my SUV in again due to left turn vibrating in high speed. Sibi figured it might be the right side ball joint issue. He replaced it and problem solved! When I try to pay for the service, Sibi told me its free! Because on their records, last summer, they did a replacement for one side of the ball joint on my SUV. But somehow there was no remark about which side they did. So this time, he will treat it as a warranty! Thumbs up!

Driving home from work I could hear a thud thud thud noise. I pull over and check the tires to see a large screw embedded in the front right tire. Damn it! So I take it to these guys for a repair. They inspected it and removed the screw. Turns out the screw was only 1/4 inch long and did not actually puncture the tire. They could have easily charged me full price for a repair and I would have never known. Instead they showed honesty and integrity and did not charge me for anything! These guys give auto mechanics a good name! :)

Great experience. My car was making horrible noises and I was concerned about the cost as I suspected there were quite a few things wrong. They called every step of the way as they figured out what was wrong to give me the price. They also took the time to explain exactly what was wrong and what they were going to do. The cost came in just under what they had quoted. It was also a very quick turnaround from drop off, to diagnosing the problem and fixing it. I would highly recommend these guys.

First of all these are my personal experiences with this company and it's up to anyone to see if they would like to come here or not, but my opinion is to STAY AWAY. I learned about this place from googling auto repair shops near me, and this place has good reviews and good ratings. I first came here about 4 or 5 years ago to get my tires changed into all weather tires. About a couple months in, one of the tire somehow got a hole and was losing air. I brought the car in and showed them. They told me the hole was in a place that was not fixable and they will order a new one for me and will notify me when the tire gets there so they can replace it. They never called, I had to call myself and they told me it arrived. I brought my car in and afterwards they gave me another bill for the tire, I guess there was no warranty after only a couple months. I didn't question this, nor did I find anything wrong with it, I thought that's just how the auto business is (they did take off the installation fee). My second time coming here was just for a simple oil change (October 2nd, 2020). It was for my brothers vehicle. They told me there were differences in the oil for different types of cars and years of the cars and let me know the pricing of them. I told them it was ok if it was more expensive as long as it's the right engine oil for the car. In mid January, my brother told me the oil change light came up, brought it into Toyota, and they said the oil was critically low. The car is only used to commute to work which is only 15 minutes away. My third experience is the same date as the oil change, there was a lady there before me, and she was not happy with the business because, she brought the car in to have it checked for something. The business ordered a part and installed it into her vehicle without her knowledge, and when she came to see what was wrong with her car, they told her it's done and ready for pickup and here's the bill for the things they did. She was confused as she doesn't know ANYTHING about what was going on. The man said he thought someone already called her, and that if she doesn't want it they will have to remove it and put the old one back. The lady didn't want to wait, just paid for it and left. Update for your response: I unfortunately have recommended your business to other people and I truly regret it. I agree you guys do provide exceptional customer service, but I believe you use this exceptional customer service to cut corners and cheat your customers. I've emailed Hankook (the brand of tires that you changed) as well as checked in with other auto repair shops, there is one year limited warranty for tires that are NOT REPAIRABLE. I can only imagine how many customers left thinking they got a good deal but in reality got completely ripped off. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. I will not come to be fooled a third time, so no, I will not give you another chance.

My car completely broke down on my partner and I yesterday (after most shops had closed, in the middle of nowhere), and the timing honestly could not be worse because I'm also dealing with a broken toe, making walking quite difficult and severely limiting my mobility without my car. We determined that we needed a new alternator (and serpentine belt, though I didn't think that was as desperate until the mechanics let me know today that the belt was worn out), and sent out requests for quotes last night. North Road Auto Repair got back to me faster than anyone else with a quote, and when I called in to confirm the possibility of repair, they told me they could have it done by 5pm! Not only were they efficient, finishing up around 3:30, they also gave me a discount! I am so incredibly grateful that they were able to make the repairs on the same day that I asked. So fast and friendly, I could not be happier with the service I received! Absolutely recommend, and I'm sure I'll be back with any other problems I might face!

Bottom line: The owner said my repair wasn't urgent, but if I wanted it done now anyway, he said they could do it, but recommended another garage to try first specializing in the type of repair I needed (catalytic converter) to see if they could do it for less. I did, and saved a lot. North Road Auto Repair didn't get my business this time, but due to their honesty and helpfulness, they'll get my business for ALL future repairs. Note: I did mention to the owner I went to North Road Auto Repair because of the reviews I read on the internet.

Yes $25 oil change is cheap but you get what you pay for. I took my vechicle there 2 months ago before a road trip. Half way to Washington the oil light came on. Took it to Walmart and found a bad quality oil filter installed on my car. The Walmart mechanic said it is a $2 filter from China. Thank god I stopped right away otherwise engine damage. I have reported to BBB. Learned a hard lesson!

I was about to take my family on a road trip when i noticed my brakes were running thin. North Road Auto was able to fit me in the next day to get the job done. Identified the cause of other problems i was having with my vehicle and was able to order parts and fix it the same day. Very happy with the quality of the work done. These guys are awesome and always make sure to understand what's going wrong with the car and do a proper job of fixing it. One time when my car was stalling every time I idled, I was prepared to spend hundreds of dollars to fix whatever was wrong and it only ended up being a dirty throttle that they cleaned up and only charged me for diagnosing it and then sent me back on the road. I'll always keep coming back to them!

Be careful going here. They will overcharge you enormously. When I talked to them to try and get them to discount some of the ridiculously mark-up parts, they told me there was no margin in it for them and that I should call a supplier and get them to confirm. Well I did, I called Napa Auto parts and they confirmed that they were ripping me off. And I know that the price Napa gave was 30-40% higher then what these guys are probably paying, meaning that they are ripping me off even more. Unfortunately for me it was too late. I needed my car back in a hurry so I had to pay their outrageous price. However, I definitely won't be going back there again unless its an emergency like last time! Which is too bad really as the work seemed decent and the location is great for me. I just can't abide liars and cheaters. Hope this doesn't happen to you.

I'm surprised anyone could leave a 1 review. I came in thinking my brake rotars were warped because my car was rumbling when is brake. This would have cost around $300-$400 to fix with brake pads. They test drove my car and told me all I needed was a $9 bottle of injector to clean out my gas tank from a bad batch of fuel. This solved the problem. They could have easily ripped me off, being a younger female, and I don't know much about cars. $9 and my car runs like new again. Thanks Sabi. I'll be back for any car needs in future.

Where did all the 5-stars review come from? Visit them for an oil change and lesson learned. Ok for $24.95 I shouldn't complain. I am cheap but the upselling drove me insane. I had my brakes checked at a dealer a month ago 50% left. Now they tell me I have 10% left and need replacement immediately. How much? $650 for a brake job cause I need rotors, pads, calipers etc. Then I took it to Budget brake and muffler on brunette ave, they said I still have 40%. I have said enough, haven't I? I am not going back!
