This Tires belongs to the category of Tire shop.
Talked to Nick over the phone. He took the time to listen to what the problem was and give me possible solutions to try myself. Turns out he was right and I was able to fix my issue on my own. Thank you Nick.
Nick is honest, competent, confident and good at his job. My daughters feel comfortable taking their cars to him. Always helpful and friendly.
Fixed my transmission for a fair price
Willing to go above and beyond to service your vehicle. Lets you look and explains what hes found wrong. Great garage all round. My mechanics from now on...2 thumbs up!
So expensive... Be aware they will rip u off. They charged me 200 for 2 tires' patch, and one of them was still leaking after the fix. After seeing them again, they said my sidewall is damaged and needs a new tire. They quoted me 450 including labour (while the same tire other shop quotes me 350 includes labour). Avoid this shop or you will be regretted.
They were cool with everything and were not rude and are reasonably priced. Very nice and fixed my car by the next day. Will go there again.
Great friendly service knowledgeable staff.
It was the end of the business day. But the owner of the shop still helped me and changed my old tire on my wheel with a new tire. Price for the service was good, really satisfied.
Cheap but dishonest and unprofessional. At first I really liked Nick. They were affordable, friendly and quick. Then recently I took them a flat tire, which was in a relatively new, quality tire. I got a call saying the tire was damaged and not fixable and they suggested replacing 2 or 4 tires. The tires had 65% tread remaining. Instead I took him a set of two that I already owned. They mounted them and when I picked up my car it seemed fine. When I later got to highway speed I could tell one of the front tires was out of balance. I brought the car back to them and was told "the set of tires, it's bad, you need to replace them". When I revealed that I used to be a used tire dealer and was very experienced, and knew that the tires were in fact in great shape with the majority of their tread remaining, Nick quickly changed his tune and said he could rebalance the problem tire and move it to the back. Since then, those 'bad tires" have taken me over the Coquihalla in incredibly bad conditions and performed beautifully in all the crazy winter weather we've had this year. They've got at least 3 winters of use left in them. At best, they don't know their trade. At worst, they're dishonest. Don't risk it.
Simple and efficient. The staff are friendly and experienced. Great place to drop your car off for any problem.
Great service & honest workers. Nick is a incredible man.
Nick is very experienced but be careful. They're not busy and rip you off somehow. Paid over $300 to repair a crack on wheel. Didn't give me exact quote. I could buy a new wheel for that price. Then took my other wheel to cleaning and shining up and told me other wheel is bended too and $225 to fix + cost to balance + Tax would cost me $280 and told no I want my wheel back!!! The original aluminum rim (2004) was sent to be welded that little crack and then machined to remove any curb scratches and coated again. Turned to brand new just like 13 years ago. But with that over $300. Convinced me to get other rims to be done too one by one. Would cost me $270 each. When it comes to a 'looks-simple-flat-tire' might not be simple going to such a shop. They might say it's not repairable and make you buy new tires or wheels. Don't have big pocket? Tell them to install your spare and give your wheel back so you can find a solution.
My new best friends from the very first contact
Great Service
Had my car in for a brake servicing to get it in shape for provincial inspection. Nick was an incredibly friendly and knowledgable professional. He explained every step of the repair and made sure I understood that my safety was their priority. This was hands-down the best interaction I've ever had getting my car fixed up. Not because other experiences have been negative, but the Burnaby Firestone was fantastic.
Great service and helpful advice. Highly recommend!
My friend recommended that I come here and he wasn’t wrong. I had an emergency blow out in my rear tire and I have low profile tires so they needed to be changed ASAP. Nick is the man you wanna see. He is very straightforward and inform able, within less then an hour my car was done and ready to go. Will definitely be back!
New review: after a couple years using Firestone for my vehicle service needs, I discovered I was being grossly overcharged for pretty much everything. I felt betrayed. It also has come up repeatedly that they don't know what they're doing as they installed my drive belt badly and never tightened the battery clamp wire connection properly upon replacement, which took me forever to discover on my own and much grief and lost time and wages due to missing work with a dead battery as it didn't charge consistently anymore. Stay away from them. They're best to stick to just selling tires. Old review: Nick and company always go above and beyond to make sure I'm driving a safe, smooth functioning vehicle, and charging me no more than a fair rate. I have no problem giving them the highest rating and recommending them to everyone.
Personal and professional service. In Nick you can trust. Always fits us in. Fixes any issue no matter how big or small. Honest and competitive.
If you're looking for honest fair priced repairs and tires this is the place. Always there to get the job done as quick as possible with a friendly handshake and smile. Give them your business and they'll treat you like family. If you take the time to read the other reviews you'll see a trend. Either they want something for free, or they don't understand what it takes to do quality repairs. Sure you might save a few bucks if you search out a bargain but you'll end up paying more in the long run.
Nick was very helpful and gave me great pricing. My new mechanic!
Support the local guys Burnabarians! These guys need local support. Come out and have minor, major repairs and CVSE licensed inspection facility with great staff and management! Thank you again!
Stopped in to ask if they could replace the core valve in one of my tires. When they said that it would be a $40 job I knew they were making up stories to try to rip me off... I ended up going to the Midas down the block where they gave me the $0.50 part for free. The guy at Midas even did the repair, added air to my tire, and said that the job was so easy he didn't want to charge me. I gave him $10 for a beer.
Great quick service! Fixed my flat for me on a walk-in Saturday morning
Nick is one of the few honest tire dealerships around. Brought my car in because of a flat and he fixed it promptly and quickly at a price better than others. Highly Recommended!
Been going here for a couple years now and I always leave happy, instead of frustrated and feeling like I got ripped off. Rally kind a trustworthy people, that I will be returning to for any issues I have.
I am so happy about this service, I would like to acknowledge the person Nick that helped me with the amazing, patience and unexpected, very friendly customer service. Will be recommending this place to all my friends and family because of customer service given by rep Nick!
-5 stars if there was the option. This place quotes a price and doesn't honor the quote. Final bill was 300% more than the previous quote. They didn't even call to confirm the go ahead work order. Had an agreement, however the place is mis managed and I had communicate with serveral different individuals to do the whole go around. Use your instinct when dealing with them. I understand every review is different, good and bad. My experience was terrible and I felt manipulated.
Great bunch of people here! My husband and I broke down on vacation (alternator), just up the road, these guys towed us down, fitted us in first thing the next morning and had us back on the road nice and quickly as well as for a great price. Really helped us out!
I called to confirm they had the size of winter tire I need and they said they had the tires (235/55/16) but no cheap rims. When I arrived and after I was able to track down a staff member he was unable to find anything in a similar/suitable size for my Camaro. He advised that I should buy winter tires/rims in the summer because winter is,"a seller's market" and it would be a more adventageous time to bargin. I think I was unable to mask the wave of disgust and contempt for his complete lack of any usefulness or acknowledgement that he had just made me drive to north burnaby for tires that dont exist and an unneeded condescending lesson in suply and demand. As my view of this man shifted from "equal" to "burden on society" and I turned toward the door he suggested I buy winter tires in the size of my current ones (275/40/17). That dosnt exist, as I knew and he soon found out. I can't remember the exact way he phrased it but this is where he droped the golden nugget of knowledge that has me reviewing right now. He said "Why do you even need winter tires, this is vancouver?" I dont feel like you or I would gain anything by me reliving the emotions this made me feel. If this is what you actually believe why do you even carry winter tires? It is now 2 days later Monday, December 5th 2016 and I have all day to look for tires because my camaro is absolutely stuck in the overnight dump of snow and I am unable to even get a taxi on the line due to the snow. Let me repeat. I went to a tire shop to buy winter tires and they told me to wait out the winter to buy winter tires in the summer. Also..THEY HAVE RATS IN THEIR SHOP, google it. "I wish I had more hands to give them 4 thumbs down. "
I needed a rush inspection on the vehicle and they were able to fit me in and accommodate my specific requirements. They told me they had replaced some parts, and then they showed me the prices for the replacement of a few bulbs and wipers: I felt like I was stealing from them! Honest prices and great service! These guys are the best!
Tire wouldn't hold air. Took car in this am at 9:00. I was met by Nick, a very friendly soul. Left within an hour and was charged less than $45.00.
Nick is always honest and very reasonable. A class act and great operator
I have dealt with Nick from Firestone for several years now. He is a person to be appreciated and is one of the "old school" great customer service type of guys. He is the kind of person that will treat you well if you treat him well. This is the place that deserves your business.????
Nick the Sales rep was a very friendly and knowledgable gentleman. He offered up very good pricing and I look forward to bring all of our fleet Tire requirements to him in the future.
Been dealing with Nick and Sal now for 10 years. They are honest and reliable. No repair shop is perfect, but they always go the extra mile. In this day and age it is nice to know there are quality mechanics nearby that want return business. We have had 3 cars worked on there and they have done everything from electrical rewiring, to replacing radiator, alternator, timing belt, and lots of tire repairs, etc. Always fair prices.
Nick and his team are just the best! Great prices excellent service. You can't go wrong getting work done by these guys.
Nick is incredible and goes the extra mile to help out. So glad to have found a trustworthy shop that cares about its costumers.
Nick is a great guy who will do anything to help you out. Fair, fast and accommodating. They do all service to vehicles and not just tires.
Very rude stuff that just wants to make a money out of every problem you have. But at the same time they are saying that they are very experienced and prepared and you should not listen anyone else except them.
Nick really is really genuinely understanding and caring and able to bargain id need be, saved my ass and cut down prices wherever he could. highly recommend him and his crew.
Once again I am amazed at the quality of service I received from Nick and the rest of the staff! Old fashion, excellent customer service and honesty goes a long way these days! Thank you so much!!
I had a wonderful experience here at Firestone thanks to Nick. He was very knowledgeable and over all a great help.
Great customer service
Been driving around with a nail embedded in my front tire. Brought it in for Nick to take a look at. He couldn't find the nail or a puncture. Spent some time removing my tire and submerging it to make sure there was absolutely no puncture in my tire. Absolutely refused to charge me for the time he put in to make sure it was safe for me to continue driving my vehicle. Sweetest and nicest guy around! Thank you Nick!
Nick was kind and helpful. He got me a really good deal on some new tires. I would recommend them to my friends and family.
rude rude staff I will never take my vehicle overpriced no experience at all
Great service
I needed a new alternator, and decided to be safe, I would just go to the closest repair shop to avoid killing my battery, decreasing the need for towing. 3hours later I was done. The midas wanted 150$ more for the job. I was treated well, thank you Nick :-)
Very knowledgeable staff and helpful in getting my needs fulfilled. Every time I am satisfied. Thanks to Nick.
These guys treat females fairly
