A+++ Customer Service! The team helped me out by replacing the valve stem and reseating the tire on my tractor rim only minutes before they were set to close for the day. The other tire shops I tried all told me they couldn't help and needed an appointment. This was only a 5 minute fix for them but a huge deal for me getting me back up and running. Lots of shops CAN do it, but Speedy DID do it. Thanks!

Very satisfied with the work. I called in about having some front end diagnostic work don at 10:15am. They took the car, diagnosed, did oil change, new brakes, rotors, sway bars links and tie rods and I have my car back by 4pm same day. Estimate was to the penny what I ended up paying. The service here is amazing!! We were traveling out of town, had a serious exhaust issue. They said they would fit us in, turned out they moved a car off the hoist and immediately began working on our vehicle. They even found another small issue which they fixed with NO added cost! We were in and out in less than an hour and charged a very fair price. Would highly recommend their service to everyone!!!

Speedy was advertising a free oil change if customers went to them to switch their seasonal tires. When I get there, they tell me the deal doesn't apply to cars that use full synthetic oil, and that their policy wont allow them to put semi-synthetic in my car (Toyota Corolla). I've read the manual and know that's absolute bull, but whatever. I roll my eyes and let them do it. Whoever was working that day torqued my oil filter casing so tight I couldn't get it off. Took it to my mechanic, who also couldn't get it off. Had to replace the entire housing unit for it. Cost me 450$. Thanks Speedy!

It was about 2 pm on a Monday afternoon when I start to hear a thumping noice on the back of my SUV. One of the shock I figure! I wonder if Speedy replace shocks I thought, so I drop in to the Speedy shop that I have been driven by for the last 45 years and wouldn’t you know they do replace shocks. I went in at 3:45 and I was out of the shop by 5:30 pm with new shocks and an oil change to booth. I mean at Speedy they really are speedy. I did appreciate the quick service and the straight talk minus the trying to sale me repaires that I don’t need. I can honestly say that in all my years of driving it’s the first time that I had a pleasant experience at a mechanic including dealerships as well!

On Thursday My car had a brake issue after inspection, he told me to fix the problem. $1600 costing you. I said thank you, However I don't want to pay $1600 for this issue. The man told if you're not to fix your car you have to pay $152 dollars for inspection and call for two trucks. You can't drive. I said please fix the car back. I drove the car this morning from Hamilton to Burlington. It was okay to drive and I want go back to Hamilton. He is still telling me to call for two trucks. Finally he accepted to put the parts back together andI paid $152 for nothing. I drove back to Hamilton. Today Saturday Golden auto in Hamilton fixed the issue, believe or not Golden auto charged me $308 including tax. Compare between $1600 +tax and $308 including Tax.

They readily fit me in when we have an issue. They're forthcoming with what they see as potential future problems without pressuring you. Their customer service people are excellent - so friendly and accommodating. They always over deliver where we've been concerned. They've been especially kind and patient with my elderly mom. I was extremely dissapointed in my last visit to Speedy located at 1134 Guelph Line, Burlington, ON. My family, friends and myself have been brining our vehicles here for the last 15 + years. Needless to say I will never bring my car here again and none of my family and friends will either after hearing about my experience! I brought my vehicle in to be serviced. My air conditioner wasn't working and I had a leak in my front end. After their mechanic inspected my vehicle I was told I needed a whole new air-conditioning unit which will cost $2000.00 and some part of the transmission system was causing the leak which would be about $1000.00 fix plus a list of a whole bunch of other issues. Total fix about $5000.00! I instantly felt sick when I heard this. I decided that I wanted a second opinion so I went to pick up my car and wanted to pay for the time they have put into my vehicle and the test they did to troubleshoot the air conditioning unit $70 plus they told me they topped up my transmission fluid, so I also wanted to pay for that. They refused to take payment after I insisted I wanted to be fair and pay them for their time. When they wouldn't take payment I asked them for the report with all the issues they found with my car. They REFUSED (red flag!!!) to give it to me and I could tell that they were upset I wasn't going through with the repairs and we're a bit hostile and annoyed with me. Fast forward...I brought my car to another trusted mechanic shop in Burlington on the North Service road and was told that the reason my air conditioner wasn't working was because of the AC compressor and I did not need a whole new air-conditioning unit! And the front end leak was minor leaks from the Cooler lines! They also repaired my LF lower ball joint, front sway bar links, RF axel shafts, some belt (forgot the name of it) rear break pad and routers.....ready for it....for just under $2000.00!!!!!!! That's a far cry from $5000.00 in repairs! I am so upset that I was being scammed into believing I needed a brand new air-conditioner when all I needed was the AC compressor and the leak was simply from the cooler lines not the very expensive part Speedy told me it was. Moral of the story, always go with your gut and get a second even third opinion if you believe you are getting taken advantage of. If you are reading this review think twice before bringing your vehicle here! Sad that we have been customers for 15+ years and we're treated this way! I knew something was fishey when they refused to give me a report of their evaluation on my car!

Our family has been taking our vehicles here to see Dirk and the team for more than 15 years and they have always been fantastic. Recently the van's battery died unexpectedly. They help by getting us in touch with a great tow company; who themselves provided prompt service. They quickly diagnosed it was indeed the battery and did the general maintenance that was due to be done. Two other issues were discovered related to vehicle age (the van is 12 years old) and they took the time to explain what they were, my options for the repairs, the cost involved and how much extra time it would take. The staff, at Speedy Burlington North, have always been friendly, open and informative. If unexpected repairs arise, they have always called to explain and give us a breakdown of the cost so there is never any surprises. If there are alternate options, they let us know and explain our choices. They have always explained all repairs in detail and done the work in reasonable time frame. The staff have always done their best to accommodate our schedule too. These people are great, we highly recommend this Speedy; Dirk, Mohammad & all staff.

Great service! They were the only mechanic shop in Burlington who were able to do a pre-purchase inspection immediately when I asked. They gave me a detailed rundown of the state of the used car and they informed me of the expected time-frame of any future repairs on the car as well as the cost of each of those repairs so that I could haggle when purchasing the car, but also have peace of mind that it will last me many good years! I have been taking my wife's as well as my own car repairs to Burlington North Speedy for nearly 20yrs, and over that time they've seen my WV Jetta, Ford Aerostar & Focus, Hyundai Sonata & Sante Fe. Both Dirk & Mohammad provide great customer service upfront, and guys in the shop are all great. I never have to worry about who is working on my car. I have never once in 20 yrs had to take a vehicle back for something that wasn't fixed correctly the first time, a claim I cannot make about (not all) but most dealerships that I've dealt with. Speedy North prices are fair, and the quality of work above average. Take this for what it's worth but my 2003 ford focus (not fords finest moment IMO) lasted 16 years and not by way of ford quality engineering or maintenance as the car had issues from the day I drove it off the lot. Speedy did most of the oil changes after the initial base warranty expired. What more can I say.

Called ahead to fix flat tire. Person, who answered the phone said that I don't have to book appointment , just come and get it done. Went there around noon. There was lots of people, I said that I called ahead and if he could fix it. person at the counter was very rude. Said that I have to leave car for couple of hours and he will see what can he do. I pointed the fact that I was calling ahead just to avoid the lineup, he responded "Don't you see I'm very busy now?". I don't think that it is the good way to treat customers.

Impolite sales agent, he was raising his voice, not respectful his name is Dirk, I told him I need a maintenance package for $49.99 before tax, around 3 hours I went back to pick up my car, he charged me 94.88. I remember when he said I don't work free, okay but it doesn't mean you can rip off your customers I do not recommend this station and deal with their agent, no sense of good communication. So go anywhere else instead of this location.

Terrible customer service, the guy is a winner, called to get my muffler checked ahead of time, said sure we will look at it, brought it in and he said no they can't look at. Then I said I called ahead, he said ok he will take a quick look. I could tell he was not happy about it, racing in my car into the bay, waited 20 minutes for a quote afterwards, he took my information for it, gave me a price, I asked a question if the replacement pipe was stainless steel, he said no and then said I will get your car, pulled it out of the garage, handed me the keys and said bye, not even giving me the quote. Not sure how people are rating this garage, must be people he knows personally. I can say terrible experience. Will never go back

I visited this shop January 2016 because one of my rear calipers seized. The shop replaced calipers, rotors and pads on both sides in the rear. They also told me i had to replace my front brakes immediately (all parts) and assured me there was less than 5% of my pads remaining. Well i was having no indication of any front brake issues so i declined. This past weekend i had one of my rear calipers seize again and had to replace everything on both sides again! So their "quality" parts and workmanship lasted less than 2 years and this car is only driven <15K km per year. Here is the kicker! I also replaced the front brakes. How did my front brakes last almost 2 years after they insisted they were are all but gone?? Consider 70% of braking is from the front!! Don't Trust this shop. He will tell you he has been around forever and is not like the other shops BUT that is exactly what they are about. Con artists!! Beware.

My first visit to Speedy Auto Service was when I stopped in to get an air emissions test done. I did not have an appointment but they kindly fit me in to the schedule. As I waited, I observed the awesome customer service provided to everyone.Those who were in the building and those who were dealt with over the phone as well. Each time I've been in to have my car serviced the customer service has been the same - the best! The mechanical services were done in a timely manner and at a reasonable price. It is clear to me that this is a business run with honesty and integrity. For those of you who know nothing about mechanics, this place will not take advantage of you and try to sell you expensive services that you do not really need! My engine light came on so I stopped in to Speedy Auto Service to get them to look at it. Once again, I had no appointment but they fit me and checked it for me immediately. Turned out to be nothing - I hadn't tightened my gas cap so it signaled an emissions leak. The mechanic reset my system and I was sent on my way. No Charge!! The nicest guys!! Front desk gentlemen and the mechanics - a fantastic team!

Too expensive for a low quality product and service. They use the cheapest oil and filters you can possibly get. If you want to upgrade to anything half decent the mark up is ridiculous. They try charging an extra 90 bucks just for upgrading to an oil you can get for 25-30 bucks. I was told "it's not a charity we are here to make money" Clearly all about the money not the customers, resulting in poor quality oil and filters. Further more I'd be willing to bet they don't do even half of what's listed on the oil change.

Great guys, great service! Dropped my car off yesterday for what I thought was a huge problem. They called me last night saying it was all fixed, just a heat shield came loose and was causing the problem. I went in this morning to pick it up and they told me there was no charge! Yes, I have had work done at this shop in the past, and I will definitely be going back. They did good work on my brakes and always a fair deal on parts & labour, which is why I immediately went there yesterday, driving right past 3 other shops. All of the guys here are great and very knowledgeable and professional.
