First experience was a call. It was quick, friendly and informative. Came in for a scheduled appointment, they took my car right in and did the service quick and gave me some recommendations on the next few repairs that need to be done. I was on my way in an hour!

This continues to be an excellent establishment. I did a ton of research and called all surrounding places. They were reasonably priced, not the cheapest, but when talking to them they definitely presented the work professionally and were very flexible. I was able to bring my own parts and oil which I buy directly from the manufacturer but avoid paying the exorbitant manufacturer labour rate. I also want to support small businesses and not large corporations. I have been going to them 3 years now and quite pleased.

Was looking to give this garage my future business but unfortunately they fell flat. My girlfriend and Her family all had great things to say about this garage and how they always go there. The task was simple enough I needed to remove my plates but unfortunately the screws we very stripped. I pulled in was greeted nicely enough and explained my issue and they said okay give us a few minutes. Few minutes later the tech come out from the garage looks at my plates from about 5 feet back and says “ yup those are stripped” and walks back inside to the garage area. I see him talk to the lady and man who were at the desk and they come back and give me a response along the lines of “ya he said there’s no way so.....maybe you can go to the dealership” I said okay thanks and left very mad at the response I was just given. I figured a professional garage would have maybe had a saw or some metal cutters we could have got the plate off. And I was ready to pay, with the intention of making this the new destination for my car needs going forward. The tech just slugging it off with a quick comment and then basically saying my money isn’t worth their time is what it felt like. I took it Canadian tire and the tech there looked and gave me solid advice on how to get the stripped screws out because if he was to do it it would be $110/hr and however long it took him would be the price. Either way I took the ADVICE I was given from another garage not the shrug I received at Lancaster went home and was able to drill out the center of the screws and remove them, with a little effort. I am not one to write poor reviews often and this took a few days for me to consider if posting the story was worth while. But It was truly a poor experience to a customer who was ready to hand over money and continue to do so, but now that dissatisfied customer will not be doing businesses with the garage at anytime for the foreseeable future.

Not friendly. Not overly knowledgeable. Simple mount & balance 4 tires, I asked if they do Road Force balancing. They had no clue. I asked if they had Hunter machines (that do road force). No clue (they don't). I noticed one of my wheels was causing them some trouble so I casually asked upon completion "was the right rear giving you some trouble?" This was met with defensiveness not just a friendly conversation. I was curious how much weight went on and the response was "less than 10oz." (that's a lot) followed by "I hope you're not expecting much mileage out of those." I agreed and said "Yes, they're not high mileage tires" and he said "25K." I disagreed and he held out his hand and said "how much?" (like a bet)...repeatedly. You shouldn't condescendingly bet your customers that the tires they've chosen are a bad choice. Got home home and checked my paperwork and 3 of them already had 31, 502km on them and have 11/32nds to the wear bar remaining. Guess I won the bet. (was getting one new replacement.....purchased elsewhere I should add because they could not find them ANYWHERE. None at their distributors, none from manufacturer, etc. I got the one I needed in ONE DAY from another place that had to order it from Vancouver but still got it (I'm in Ontario)) **had these on previously, got a flat, replaced temporarily with 4 of different brand, decided I hated them and wanted the single replacement of these** Oh, I was also quoted the wrong price.....twice. There is a limit to their knowledge. Careful not to run into a situation where they don’t know how to fix it. They take you down a road where you pay and pay and they continue to experiment. Got my car “fixed” there and then had to get it fixed for real somewhere else. Paid twice for their lack of knowledge.

I had a negative experience that the owners failed to mitigate or even attempt to resolve. Their work is good, but I question their character and honesty. Notice that as of today, their BBB rating is C-. This is a good indication of their ability to resolve disagreements. In summary, I was charged for a diagnostic procedure on my AC system that was inconclusive, and was charged a second time for the same procedure a few weeks later, without being asked if I would like to run that procedure again. The owners refused to acknowledge that the second procedure was done in error, and refused to make a good faith effort to resolve the issue. They were dismissive and impolite in their response to my complaint. I would recommend avoiding them based on an apparent lack of integrity.

Horrible experience I had with these guys, back in Aug 2013 my repair supposed to be around $500 but ended up in $4000. Never go there ! Extremely horrible people with no Customer Service focus. I regret it when I left my vehicle I also reported that to BBB case #1299405, check it by yourself and don't do that mistake what I did... In addition keep you German Make vehicle away from that repair shop.

I've had nothing but good service from these folks. They had a tire within a few hours that was completely out of stock from ALL Toronto Canadian Tire stores. Prices are fair in my experience- but that may vary by brand. And they mounted the tires with the valves in the right spot as marked on the tire- and didn't damage my freshly painted steel rims.

I called and ordered rims (thankfully I wasn’t requested to pay in advance) and was informed that they would be ready for pickup within a week. They were supposed to be a Father’s Day gift therefore the urgency in getting them quickly was important. Today is two weeks to the day, and still no rims. All I have been told, after calling their office on a daily basis since, they are not very interested in keeping their customers informed, is that they left Ottawa. They have no tracking number and they don’t have a number of the warehouse to obtain any additional information. Does this sound reasonable? If they had given me the wrong information during the initial call when I ordered them, they should at least admit that.

Shopped on line and tried out Lancaster in Burlington. What an incredible tire buying and installation experience. Friendly, welcoming and businesslike people. Good communicators. No hard sell, up sell or cross sell. The tires that were most appropriate for my driving were also the cheapest. Installation appointment time was honoured. They even invited me back for a no charge no appointment check after 150 km.
