Bought 2 tires, one was perfect the second tire installed was wrong size they didn’t look. I came back they were nice and polite and gave me 2 new tires exchanged no extra charge. And gave me better tires that cost more. Was snowing and raining hard and was hard to see numbers they thought the 2 tires beside each other were a set. Very good deal 150 bucks for 2 18 inch tires. They said 90 percent new but 75 percent still good! Service was super fast and everyone nice and polite. They were happy to fix things anyway I wanted to make me happy.

Guys are friendly but very poor service. I got two front tires replaced , which i don't know where they did wrong, both the tires eventually came out of the rim 3 times while the car was parked overnight within 10 days and everytime i have to go there to let them know. when i ask to check the other tire while fixing the one they always say it is fine but sooner or later it comes out or the air get low and i have to go there again.

I'm not used to driving my car with old tires on. If it's new and inexpensive without sacrificing QUALITY & SERVICE then count me in. Unfortunately, my own experience with other local tire dealers has been that they offer their customers bargain-basement prices because of inferior tire quality. If you want to save cash on a Huge selection of newer to older tires then Save Big On is the right service provider for you. I found the employees to be hard working & very cheerful. They offer you great deals, and usually you can get your car in and out quickly.

Cane here on a sunday afternoon with a nasty puncture in our tire. We were told by our local flat fix guy that we would need to replace the tire for sure. They are bmw run flats so its $200. When we got here they inspected and were able to patch it up for $20. Im grateful for their honesty at not trying to sell us a super expensive tire

LOSS BIG ON TIRES. I spending almost $ 500 on tires, 2 brakes and alignment. Tires they give me it is not just used it has been repaired and I didn't see it. After two time doing alignment they told me I need to change a part and bring it back for the alignment again. Every time I went back they told me to go back another time for a reason. Finally after third time they wanted to charge me. Total after 6 time going to the shop still my car need the alignment.

I had a slow leak from a screw stuck in my tire with slight marking on the sidewall from driving without realizing it. I stopped in and left it with Jason to check it over. When I returned, it was fixed and ready to go back on the car and he ensured me that there was not any integrity flaws after inspecting it. I came to the shop, no one was at the office. I went to the back of the shop and met there several guys, and I asked them about the price to repair a tire, no one didn't answer me. I asked again, more loud, and only then one guy gave me an answer. Also, he said one car will be done soon, so you can bring your car around the shop, what i did. I was waiting around 10 min, and like he said one car was done. I thought I will be next, but they took another car who came after me. It was funny, and to my answer why they took another car instead of my car, no one gave me an answer. And again, I asked again, and one of the guys said he was first. After that, I realized that for some reason, the guys who work there did not like me. Although I was very friendly at the start, and in general, I am not a conflict person. I was very surprised by this attitude towards the client. I just jumped into my car and went to another tire shop. Who were more welcoming. I think, this is good explanation for 1 star review

Kind of shady and not to be fully trusted. Price: Not the best, but decent compare to big chain tire stores, but if you look like a fat sheep, they will fleece you. Under comparison, their competitor like Comar / AD Automotive offers a better deal At SaveBig, I got the cheapest all-season installed for 450 for 4 installed. In the store, Odei told me it would be 450 + tax if I use credit card, or just 450 if I pay cash. I tried to slide in a brake pad change since the wheel are coming off anyway and my old pads were squeaking. Odei gave me the price of 120 all in. cash. I asked my calipers to be lubricated to prevent uneven brake pad wear. In the end, I found out that the advertised price on FB and CL is 416 before tax, and 469 after tax and that brake pad change is 80+. So they basically overcharged me 70+ dollars on the spot because I was a walk-in. Skills: They don't particular hold their craft to a high standard, I saw things like scraping brake pad clips that needed a caliper remount. Had they turn the wheel or test drove the vehicle they would have heard the scraping. During the caliper remount, I saw the tech hanging the brake caliper by the tube instead of by a bungee cord, or propping it up by a box. This puts a lot of stress on the rubber tube and could potentially cause a fluid leak. They also use an impact wrench on the wheel lock key which the manufacturer says not to. A few more tire changes and you'll need to order yourself a new key. When they did the wheel balancing, they don't bother to remove existing weights or clean the surface of the alloy wheels, but just kept adding more weight onto dirty rim surfaces. In short, it was QUICK n' DIRTY. In and out within 30 mins leaving much to be desired for a simple job like this. Quality of Parts: Less than 30km later, while the manufacturer wear lines are still visible, I noticed the driver side to have some up-down vibration, especially noticeable at around 40km/hr, not increasing with higher speed. The tech did his due diligence of rebalancing the front wheels, hopped in the car with me to confirm the vibration, then even put on 2 new front tires. The vibration never went away. I was told the suspects might be uneven wear on tire (within 50km of the tire change?), bearing issue (on a 60k km, 5 yr old vehicle?), or bent rim (alloy rims don't bend, they crack) and I'd have to have wait an hour for the mechanic to come and look at it. The Grenlander COLO H01 tires are a closed-out and discontinued model. You can't find them anywhere in the world so I now question the quality. Evidence being: after I had the 4 Grenlander swapped out for another 4 Rydanz from Comar, the vibration went away. Communication: The guys in the shop speak passable English but it is difficult to communicate anything in depth. Surprisingly I had no issue talking car with the tire tech, but when it comes to pricing dispute with their advertised 30-day price guarantee and price-match guarantee I had the most frustrating time with Odei where in the end he said he was busy and left me standing in the shop by myself. Eventually Odei and the boss Bartus agreed that I will return the tires for a full refund, but maintained that the advertised brake pad price of 80 only covers installation, and not the HSB HD1650 pads they've used. You can be the judge on what 80+ means from the advertisement. These Korean pads are fairly generic and don't cost more than $40 retail. Conclusion: It has been a pretty bad experience. They work hard, but I disagree with their business practices. It isn't a place where you can just go in and trust that they'll do you right. In the end, full 450 cash refund on the tires, then I got my tires from Comar / professionally installed at AD Automotive for 380 cash. As for the $120 brake pad job I got from SaveBig? They still squeak.

The other 2 tires were seperating, resulting in my car shaking an insane amount at highway speeds and were unsafe to use. All 4 also had very little tread left. Do NOT trust this shady business with your car, I should have known when they said they only accept cash and don't give receipts for used tires.

When I called in for x tires, they said they had it but they was wanting to sell 1 pair and I only wanted 1 due to sidewall punctured. They tried to upsell saying that you use x amount of tread with x amount but in the owner manual, you can use up to 30% difference of tread. They ended up saying that it was available, as soon as I came over to the shop. One of the guy said it was available and the main boss said it was not available probably due to the fact of trying to buy 1 tire. I ended buying 2 new tires from Westcoast repairs. Edit: Reply to his response, you did have a pair but you never sold me it. Therefore, you have intentionally lied to me by responding to this review, you have literally just admitted that you didn't want to sell to me; nice contradiction. I was willing to pay up to 150$ for one tire. I only bought new pairs from Westcoast repair because my actual tread depth was 50%, therefore I had no choice to purchase them. I knew they were telling the truth because they've been honest since day one plus I needed to get my bushing done by them and if I need a specific part done, they can do it. This place has horrible customer service and the most dishonest services plus furthermore you can't even understand his language spoke as if it was muffled. Edmonds Tire Depot are far more better than this place, if you need used tires. Do not go here, very dishonest, horrible service and very sketchy!

I swear he’s a one man machine with a fool proof system for getting scrap tires off and new ones on in a hurry. Have been meaning to leave a review for this business for some time after, I had a pleasure of doing business with them On Canada long weekend I had a flat tire and there were very few places open and willing to help you fix the problem. I called this business and, the person just said, come over. Nothing about we are too busy, you need an appointment, etc, is what you normally hear from other shops. I got there, and just like me, other cars showed up with flat tires and other issues, and no one was said, we are too busy or don't have the time. I went in on Wednesday the 21st of March 2018 to purchase 2 tires, have them fitted, balanced and rotated. The shop closes at 6 and I called early to check if they had the stock and if they could fit it that day, and they said yes to both. When I arrived at 5 I explained that I had one punctured tire that wasn’t serviceable and one good tire that I wanted to keep as a spare, which they said was fine. When the manager guy went to work on my vehicle, he propped up the truck with two speedy jacks on the front and back axel, which already looked a little sketchy and like he was rushing it. He then proceeded to remove the wheel nuts from all the wheels with a pneumatic wrench. When he got to my back right wheel, he removed 5 of the 6 nuts and began kicking and pulling at the wheel. I asked what he was doing to no reply. He then walked into the shop and re-emerged with a mini sledge, climbed under the back of the truck and started whacking the back wheel with the hammer. I was asking what he was doing and telling him that a nut was still on which he ignored. His colleague then came over, they spoke in a different language, then his buddy took off the handbrake and they went back to whacking the wheel. I kept telling them the but was on and they eventually realized, took it off and continued with the wheel change. When they fit all the wheels, the guy released the jacks and the car started rolling away as they had taken off the damn handbrake, so I had to jump in and stop it. Buddy the happily charged my $250 cash for the tires and the fitting and gave me NO RECEIPT. I unfortunately left without getting my good tire back as I was distracted by the madness. I realized when I got home, tried calling and sent a message explaining about the tire. Heard nothing back and when in eventually followed up the guy said the tire was trash and they threw it out. He then tried to sell me another tire on the phone ???? Also, I’ve been driving at highway speeds and can feel some vibrations now that weren’t there before, so I’m quite sure they never properly balanced the wheels and I’ll have to get that done on my own dollar. All in all I’d recommend against using these guys for anything other than just purchasing a tire (they also offer and $80 alignment ????). I’m quite surprised there was so many positive reviews on here given my experience, and to be honest these reviews were the only reason I went to this shop. If you have any love for your vehicle, spend the extra few bucks and take it somewhere where you’ll have some peace of mind that they they’re professional and above board. I wouldn’t touch this place again if my life depended on it. Avoid and be super critical of places on google even if they have a bunch of decent reviews. I’ve learned my lesson and thankfully it wasn’t a majorly expensive one. EDIT: 2018-04-03 Can i explain what? You offered a terrible and unsafe service and I'm warning other potential victims.

After a 4,600 km road trip, on a Friday afternoon, I noticed the inside edges of the front tires of my BMW had steel sticking out so I needed tires immediately. I have a staggered set up (front tires are different size than the back). I went to three places and called two more. Nobody could accommodate me until after the weekend. Jayson at SBOT was able to get me brand new tires delivered to his shop in under 15 minutes and promptly balanced and installed them and was $220 less than the next best quote. Beats any tires shop in the Okanagan by at least a couple hundred on a new set of Winters !!! I have been getting quotes from all the tire shops and thought I found the best deal. I did a quick last minute search before going to get my tires swapped and found this company with so many five star reviews. Gave them all call and a guy told me he had a brand new set that fits my SUV. I headed down to check out the tires and within two hours had old tires swapped out for brand new Winters ....for 200 dollars cheaper then the competitors best offers. They guy in the shop was easy to deal with and no BS talk just down to the point and that's it. If your looking for a great deal and no hassle then this is the place to go. The two stars are for quick installation only. Been there few days ago to have all four of my old tires replaced. For safety reason I asked for brand new ones, the employee then quickly showed me a price list saying he recommends this all season tire at 129 each but will charge me, installation included, 480 if paid by cash. As I was trying to see what brand and details of the price he swiftly took that away and proceeded to show me what the tires look like. I again asked what brand it is he just said it’s a good ones for my older car. It took around 45 minutes to get the tires installed and whether he did the rebalance and stuff I don’t know seems to me they completed the installation outside in the back ally of their location so I highly doubt. It’s only until everything was done I realized there are cheap Chinese made tires. On their website the prices are 89 each so do the math I didn’t really save anything from their service. I admit I didn’t do enough as a consumer to get to the bottom of all the details of the tires I bought but as a business they should have been more upfront with customers. So buyer beware.

It was good Friday, 430pm, and we'd called every single tire place between salmon arm and penticton since we'd had a blowout on the highway and needed a tire. Everywhere else was closed or wouldn't help us until Monday at the earliest. Called this guy, and he said come on over, even knowing I had an oddball sized tire. Got there and his shop was already closed, but he was waiting for us happily. This guy is nothing short of amazing. Split up a pair of tires for me since I only needed one tire, gave me a wicked price, and without complaint or even a bad attitude took off the old popped tire, put the new one on, balanced everything and sent us on our way. I tried to tip him hugely, and he wouldn't even accept anything over 25 bucks, all he wanted was a review. For the life of me I couldn't remember his shop's name and whenever I thought about it I couldn't leave a review so this is a bit late, but, trust me, you will not be disappointed with this guy in any way. Without him, we would have been completely screwed for the long weekend without a vehicle, and we will forever be thankful for his gracious service and kindness. Thank you, so much!

Took my car there yesterday (March 21st) for new front tires and an alignment. Horrible mistake. The car is still out of alignment and pulling pretty hard to the left, one of the tires they sold was quite low by the time I got home due to a small leak, and completely flat within the following couple hours, I was not given a report on the alignment results or any formal sort of receipt for the work done other than a debit receipt. Here's photo proof of the only thing given regarding a receipt. Overall horrible experience, stay away from this shop. I feel I was scammed by these guys.

Was sold bad tires, almost had accident on highway tire wall leaked. Was also lied that the tire was 80 percent new only had 30 percent if that life left. Came back after bcaa helped me almost had a accident they did not care very rude. Also demanded money again and refused to put back spare tire. Never had such poor service and they only deal in CASH. They also refused to put my spare tire back told me you do it at home. They lie about the life of the tire left, they sell garbage and rip off customers. Don't spend a dime here. I bought 4 used Pirelli tires at 50 each. 3 of the 4 tires had a quick air leak so I brought them back. Also the weights flew off when I was driving on the freeway. They took tires off rims and reinstalled them but did not rebalance the tires. The chubby smoking east Indian fella spoke to the tire person prior to the tires being removed and more than likely told him not to balance tires as chubby boy was not happy that I brought tires back to have them checked. Furthermore they use old valves and weights as they recycle through them to save a pretty penny or so. I wasted my money and time here.....never again. You want customer service at their best go to Big O Tire and not Save Big on Tires cause you'll end up spending more in the long run. Bad service all around.

I had an issue with my car's suspension, took it to three different mechanics around imperial street in burnaby. They wanted to replace suspension parts at expense of $700. Another guy said you need all shocks replaced! I found this shop on google. Called, they said bring it in. They did allignment, replaced some bolts in front and rear. Replaced rear tires with almost new Yokohama all seasons, total bill was only $220!! I'm so happy. I couldn't believe it. Its very difficult to find someone genuine. I highly recommend these guys! They are busy and because of weather used tires are sold fast! don't expect to "reserve" used tires. If you want to reserve tires, then buy brand new tires at $150 a tire. I recommend have your tire size ready and just drop by, go through stacks of used tires, pick ones you like with good tread, they will help you. Don't show them attitude, be friendly, and patient. You'll get a really good deal!

One day I slid onto a curb with my car and didnt know what to do. I called Save big on Tires and the gentleman, Jason, answered all my annoying questions. Even after calling him and another place, and him again maybe 3 times, trying to arrange for some winter tires and wheel alignment. He was working with me trying to suite my schedule. I got in very quick. When I arrived and they exchanged the tires, the tires they wanted to put on were more worn up than expected. Jason says he wont want to put on those tires and gave me a good deal on a new set of winter tires. I appreciate his honesty and his quick response to finding another set of tires for me. I had 1 hr time in between my appointments to get tires on and get wheel alignment done. The guys managed to stay on time and I was able to leave quite quickly. I appreciated that they honored my time and I wasn't late for my other appointment. Thank you!

These guys are FAST, efficient, and offer great pricing. This is my first year getting winters (after having gotten stuck in snow last year with my all seasons). Decided to change over to snows and these guys offered great pricing on some new Starfire winters with awesome performance reviews. Dont be scammed. They sell 10 year old tires. They put my tires inside out but thank God I saw it and told them to flip them. I went in with my rims in immaculate condition just polished, and they scratched them up real nice (made me so mad). Also the rims got so dirty after being spanking clean. In my opinion that's a lousy job. They used a torque wrench when someone they knew was there for a service on his car, but they used a torque gun on my lug nuts despite me telling them that my lugs need only 80ft/lb. The guy looked at me and said the torque gun is 80ft/lb after he had done 2 tires already. Will never come back again. I might have saved $30, but not worth the headache. I was stressed looking at them do the work.

I had a great experience here. I had a flat tire, so I took it in. I was thinking I would have to buy a new tire. Jayson took the tire off the rim and inspected it. He found that the tire was in good condition, and it just had a small leak. So, instead of putting a new tire on the rim he patched up the leak. I was in and out of the place in about 20 minutes, and it cost much less than buying a new tire.

I went here because my car was damaged and had a problems with the brakes. Upon inspection Mustafa the mechanic found out I need a rotor and caliper as they had been broken. He kept the car over night for 2 days and did not manage to get the work done. Finally when I went on Saturday he got to my car and told me that the parts for my car was around $900.00. At that moment I believed him as I was new to the city and wanted to build trust with a mechanic. He also told me that he lost money because my car was up on the hoist and was loosing business for him. He quoted me $1200 for the job but at the ended up charging me $1240. I also needed to get my alignment done and he told me my ball joints were damaged and needed to be replaced otherwise the alignment would not be 100% and I agree with this statement. But, I started to get curious about how much he is charging for parts so I called Acura and asked them how much a rotor, caliper and brakes are all together. They quoted me a price of $600.00 all together. Then I called Mustafa and told him about this and he said that his "American knock off parts" are more expensive when compared to Acura dealership parts. Which is a lie because there is no way dealership parts can be cheaper then the knock off parts they are using. I recommend you do not go here for your car repairs.

This place is a scam. They used to be over near imperial and they changed locations and their name to the same as another tire shop who has since been renamed to South Burnaby Used Tires so they could get all their internet traffic. Alot of their reviews on here are bought and fake. I took my car here and had my lugnuts overtightened and sheered off at the end of season when I tried to remove them. They also didn't balance my tires properly and recked my alignment. Don't go here or else you'll end up paying more than you would at a name brand place. Edit: Update to your reply. Ofcourse you wouldn't have a record of my sale as you demanded cash only and offered no receipt.

I went to Kal tires for a fix caused by a nail and they said it couldnt be fixed and tried to sell me a set. Then came to this place and got the same tire fixed in 15mins and got a qoute for 40% less than the cheapest quote from Kal. Great service and customer service. If you go to this place - know your stuff. I didn't and they totally pulled the wool over my eyes. If you know or research how to look for good quality used tires you might be okay but I didn't and wasn't. In all my years of car ownership (and that's a lot) this was possibly the worst experience I have ever had. I am only planning to keep my car for another year - maybe less - so I didn't want to spend $1000 on new tires. I needed good used tires but it's hard to find my size easily. He promised me all his tires were top notch and said he had a set with 80% tread. I tend to be trusting and I admit my ignorance. I knew virtually nothing about tires but I know a whole lot more now. After waiting for an hour and a half he told me my wheels needed to be aligned. Okay, fair enough, I thought. Now, I wonder but who knows. So another 90 minutes and I got out of there. I had not planned to spend so much time doing this so I was tired and late and had to get to work. I took a quick look at the tires and they looked a little thin to me - not much better than what had come off. He says he showed them to me before putting them on but I never saw them and honestly, I wouldn't know what to look for anyway. Right away I noticed the car was riding rough but I really didn't want to believe that I had been ripped off. I was due for a service at my dealership a few days later and after the service they said (without me asking) that I was going to need new tires because the tread was at about 20 or 30%. Okay, I thought, maybe they just want to sell me tires (which is of course what he said) So I went to 3 more tire places and prefaced the question with "I am not buying tires, but could you please do me a favour and tell me what you think.?" Each place told me the same thing and measured. They measured in several places. They took time to show me the markers on the tires and how they indicated wear. They all said the tires were garbage and might last me through the fall but I should absolutely not drive them in the winter. I called up and said I wanted to return them. He said to come in and see what he could do. I went in mad. Probably not the best approach but when he started measuring and defending these terrible tires I totally lost it. I had paid $350 plus the alignment on top and by the time all this was over I have spent so many hours dealing with this (including writing this review) that it adds up to probably 2 full days of my life. He finally gave me $100 and got mad back at me. I was livid. At the outset he had said he would be nice and give me a warranty for 30 days but when I said what about the warranty he said that was if they were damaged and who knows - I'd been driving on them for 3 weeks (16 days in reality) and I could have damaged them. Seriously? I left and stopped at another tire store on the way home and asked for another opinion. They took a lot of time explaining things to me. They had a set of 4 used tires - the size I needed. They charged me less than Save Big Get Ripped Off place and gave me a written warranty. The difference between the tires was profound. You can see just by looking at them and the ride is so much smoother. I took the tires back to Save Big and he insisted on taking another 15 minutes of my time to inspect the crappy tires to make sure I hadn't damaged them. Please - really? He had told me that he could turn around and sell the tires for $300. I said "Great. Then give me full refund and it will be win win for both of us" And originally when I came back he had said he wanted me to be happy. Hahahaha. I got another $100 bucks out of him. He wouldn't refund the whole amount because I had made his day hard and I had yelled at him and insulted him. I admit I was angry and I raised my voice. I told him I felt ripped off, taken advantage of and that this was f-ing bullshit. Well okay - I'm human. But I'm actually used to businesses that try to make sure their customers are happy. This was just the worst worst worst. I am poorer but wiser.

Hmm, that's really embarassing because I was litteraly ripped off by Mostapha. I owned a XC90 Volvo(heavy 4WD car) and I needed used tires as my previous one were running out of thread and it was dangerous under the Vancouver rain. He sold and mounted 4 used tires on my car for 350$ cash without receipt. He offered me to book an appointment for alignment which I declined(he then told me that I should care about the security). I then remarked on the way back that the wheel was shacking around 80km/h(balance problem) The day after, I found one tire completly flat .As I'm a CAA member, I called them and one mechanic showed up to re inflate the tire. He then explained me that the tires that I bought were 16 years old(yes that is correct, they were build in the year 2000)and that the flat tire had a patch. So technically, Mostapha sold me old, damaged dangerous tires. I went back to the garage and he then explained me that it was the type of tires to expect for this price and that the problem was from my rim, not from the tires he sold to me. He then offered to fix the rim and after the job was done, asked me to pay 100$ for it.He then accused me to be dishonest person, I offered to pay him just not to have to deal with him again ever.As he doesn't accept Card, he lettted me go. The next days, my four tires were getting deflated because they were just too old, I had to buy new one and didn't have any problem since. I had an horrible experience at this shop I lost some money and some times.It's hard for me to believe the positive comments. Anyway, I strongly recommend you to stay away from this place if like me, you don't know anything about tires. I don't mind being ripped off, I don't feel bad about it.I just feel bad that I could have easely lost the control of my car because of the tires he sold to me.

Fml we came from Alberta this is no good. They sent us to Top Grade. They only have winters. And they wouldnt be ready till later this afternoon. No good. We have to still go to the coast. What's more is that he even included balance and installation with the purchase of tires. If you are looking for a used tires and quick installation this place is the place to go to. The location is actually behind the building, you must drive around the building to the back to access the yard.
