I recently purchased a new vehicle and was looking for a winter wheel setup in a bit of a rush. I contacted 1010 with a few wheels in mind but they were all on backorder so I was given a few recommendations and proceeded with one of them. Installation was fine with no issues but very shortly after install I noticed rusty water emanating from the small predrilled holes on the wheels (for alternate bolt patterns). The issue got worse so I contacted them to see if there was any solution they could recommend. I was told that I should have bought wheels specific to my bolt pattern and not a universal design (with alternate pattern predrilled holes) despite the fact that these were recommended to me. His only solution was to buy another set of wheels. I was set on coming back for a summer wheel/tire setup but I’ll have to find another shop as I see no point in supporting a company that offers no support to its customers.

Great to buy tires- sure. A bit more expensive so you would think that customer service would be good. If you can't be up by 8 am it will take at least 1 hour a viecle, and they get 5 cars by 8:30.'Ive been there 3 times to get 2 tires put on that I bought 3 weeks ago. No rotation or extras inc....???? What would you do??? I asked the mechanic when should be a better time quote he said December... REALLY !!!!!!

This place is the deal of the century! I purchased brand new all season tires AND beautiful shiny new rims for my Lexus ES 330 for under $1000!! Their website was so user friendly and helpful it was definitely one of the best parts of this process. They have a feature where you can see what different wheels/rims look like on your vehicle model. It’s ideal! My purchase was ready for pickup within a week and they look great on my car! I’m tempted to shop again in the spring!

Recently purchased the Falken Wildpeak A/T Trail Tires from 1010Tires (Online) and installed it from 1010Tires Richmond Location today. Front Desk service was great. I believe his name was "Eric", excellent customer service. Waited about 30 to 45 minutes; and it was all done. Before heading home, I drove around and honestly, I love it! It was a bit hard finding tires but 1010 did the job and had a bit of a hiccup. Where as had to come back to the shop two times in order to get the right tires put on but one of the staff didn't check all my tires which had to replaced if I knew this prior then I wouldn't have had made the two trips down to figure everything out. Needed new tires, because previous shop wouldn't install my 'worn' tires. That's fair - but they should have told me that when i swapped into the winters. They didn't have new tires in stock, it was going to take 2 weeks for the order to come in. @1010Tires-Richmond I called some other shops before i called the Richmond location. Calvin pickedup my call and was able to help with pricing and they had time to install them, same day. When I came into the shop. I meet with Calvin. He was friendly and efficient. I really liked his attitude. He's the kind of guy that gives you the final price with all the fees and taxes. I don't often write reviews on anything. But I felt that Calvin's awesome attitude deserved some recognition. You'll just have to meet him to know what I mean.

I finally found a place that took care in getting it right the first time. I was a little nervous after the last tire place I used managed to cause > $1500 damage to my rims and to my vehicle while installing new tires. I watched closely as the crew of installers got to work on my baby. They did everything just right, even hand-torqued my wheel bolts. My rims where as pristine as they were when I drove up. On top of it, the price of my chosen set of tires was below the competition's. I can't ask for more.

Advertised free tire rotation. I never got my tires rotated as I didn't put on enough mileage between winter and summer tire changes. This year I left my winter tires on all summer because I wasn't driving much. I phoned in October for my first ever free tire rotation and they told me to wait until April. I ordered a set of winter tires and rims from 1010tires, and the experience was fairly straightforward and smooth. Their tire selection online was fairly extensive. They offer unscheduled tire installation sessions if you come early when the store just opens (they handle up to 15 unscheduled installations per day). I was the first unscheduled tire installation customer this morning, and they managed to have the tires installed in under two hours!

Left a flat tire already off the car with them at noon, they didn't seem very busy. I used to work at a shop this should only take 5 mins. They told me they would call when they are done. I tried calling 4 hours later and they just ignored my call, so I tried back a few times and am now just put on hold if I call. Update I went in just before they closed to find they had forgotten to do my tire... So they did it free in a few minutes. When I got home I realized they didn't balance it or anything. I went back and the guy told me he didn't even take it off the rim and just plugged it... I asked for a full repair when I dropped it off. He said cuz it was free. I didn't ask for it to be free. I said of course it was free it took 5 hours, he got very defensive and started to argue so I left. I brought the tire to Island City Automotive where upon taking the tire off it turns out the tire was too worn to patch legally. TERRIBLE and UNSAFE practises used here.

My car's tire had air leak. I went to OK tire on SW marine drive. They did not find anything abnormal. They sealed the tire rim and charged me $55. My tire leaked more than before. Then I went to 1010 tire at Bridgeport in Richmond. They thoroughly checked the tire and found a nail on my tire and fixed it which I paid only $30 plus tax. I will go back again. Thank you.

I have been going to 1010tires/Volco for about 15 years now and they never fail to impress me! Justin W. Is my go-to wheel and tire guy. He knows his sizes, offsets, tire and wheel brands, compatibility and their pricing is very competitive. Their service and attention to detail is unmatched in the industry. Very bad experience, I don't recommend them for any one. I purchased two tires before 6 month, they told me there is 5 years manufacturers warranty. I had about one inch crack in one of the tires when I went they said it is unrepeatable but I have to pay full amount to change it. I contacted 1010 tires they said this in independent company, a crack in new tire used less than 4000 km means that these tires are originally defective.

I went there for a tire change. Calvin had ordered 2 front tires for me. While they were putting them on in the shop, one of the guys noticed that there was a bit of a suspicious tear-like area on one of the new tires. It was so small i’m surprised they caught it. They could have easily just put it on and I wouldn’t have noticed but they didn’t. They told me about it, showed it and ordered a new tire for me which arrived the next day. The tire change took half hour. Thank you for being honest.

Needed a pair of tires to match a new pair I bought somewhere else. The tire model is being discontinued, so many places are running out of stock. I was fortunate to deal with Eric, as he was able to quickly secure a new pair directly from their supplier prior to running out. Very responsive, no BS, and competitively priced. Eric also gave me tips on what to expect when its time to mount the new tires. It's nice to browse their website for general idea, but nothing beats talking to Eric for actual advice and excellent customer service.

I recently bought a set of summer tires for my 2013 Fiat Abarth. Volco’s price was much better than the quote I got from a local competitor and essentially the same as a nationwide, online retailer. I do not make it a practice to write reviews. I get quite nervous watching many a tyre shop work too casually on expensive cars but my experience purchasing a new set of wheels and tyres at 1010tire's location in Richmond was a very good one. Hence, here are some comments: 1. Front Office: Justin is professional. Good advise from phone call to meeting face-to-face. Mike too was equal to the task when Justin was unavailable. Use KX WHEELS. These guys just don't care about you. I lost $200 to these guys as a "restocking fee". After finding out that the wheels I ordered were different than what I wanted, I cancelled the order BEFORE it even shipped. They charged me rather than trying to help. Don't use these guys.

I needed some custom wheels fitted but it wasn't shipped with the right TPMS adapters. Justin made sure to get them for me. When the TPMS still weren't working properly he fixed them. I accidentally curbed one of my wheels with some cosmetic tire damage and he was very honest about his assessment. Great service.

1 horrible customer service - change prices when convenient for them. I ordered 4 tires from this site. I received an email a few hours later stated that they made a mistake on the price and that my order had been cancelled. They did not even try to accommodate me at all. I was told that if I wanted the tires I would have to pay the full price. One would think a large operation would at least try to make the customer happy, but no, they did not want to hear it. This is the first time I have ever dealt with a company that was is so unwilling to admit their mistake and work with the customer. Instead I was told by the owner that he did not care about trying to be accommodating to me when people are dying right now. I will never shop there again.

First time dealing with the company, dealt with other tire shops on passenger, truck and forklift tires in the Richmond BC area previously. I was not a big sale to them so wasn't expecting the red carpet. My two year old BF Goodrich tire developed a huge split/cut in the tread. Previously I had to wait over a week to get the tire size from other companies (and at those times I was buying 4, not 1) so I figured I was in for a wait no matter who I called. After calling around, I was at a minimum 1 week wait for one tire with no guaranteed date it would arrive. I called 1010/ Volco around 10AM, dropped of the vehicle at 12:30 PM they had the tire shipped in by 1 PM and called me shortly after to tell me it was ready. They even fixed the slow leak in my rear tire. Price was competitive (especially just for one tire!), staff were very friendly, efficient, service was excellent, well above what I expected for being a minimal $ sale. These guys at the Bridgeport Road location definitely will be getting my business!

Been coming here for years. Have purchased 4 different sets of tires all at good to fair prices. Service is good even though they are clearly the busiest in town. Would recommend the Richmond team to anyone. Justin has been really helpful if you're looking for a name. Also, do yourself a favour and schedule an appointment. They can get very busy.

Great service, efficient, direct, and honest. These guys do a great job at what they specialize in -- wheels and tires! This is the best place to have your tires stored for winter as well, the prices are lower than most places (especially lower than dealership) and they have storage onsite. No need to let them know weeks in advance, no delay to get your tires out, its all safely and securely stored there. Also their selection on tires is fantastic, and their website is easy to use. Been going to them since i purchased my car in 2017. Bought my winter set up from them and also use their storage for a fee. Very knowledgeable people and efficient service. Because i store my tires with them, i get an email each September which allows me to early book a date/time to come in for my seasonal change. If you ever tried to book when you need your winters on, you will know how beneficial having early booking are to you.
