Went in for an alignment, which went OK. When the bill was presented there was a charge for 'shop supplies' which was never communicated to be prior or during the service. It also wasn't explained when the bill was given to me, I had to question it. It was explained as the need to heat up 2 bolts to complete the alignment ... 14.95 for a minute of oxy/acetylene to heat up some bolts. VERY EXPENSIVE for what was used. All I got was a very lame "sorry" as I waited for service to be completed and they could have quite easily came out and informed me. Also they were more concerned with upselling me a new and unneeded battery. According to the shop, the battery went dead during the alignment and they needed to jump it to get it out of the shop. I drove 5 minutes down the road to PartSource where they load tested the battery (for free) and the battery health and available cold cranking amps all came back good so the "need to replace" was nothing but an attempt to upsell. Will not be returning for any service and would not recommend anyone to use this shop.

Took my truck there to have the muffler replaced, to which I supplied. All I needed from them was to remove 2 clamps and install muffler with 2 new clamps (they would provide) and they quoted me $150+ tax!!! The muffler was not obstructed and was easy to access. Thats an absurd price to pay for 15 minutes of work! Took it to Midas, and they charged me just over $50 with tax! From the time Midas put my truck on the hoist and installed the muffler to me paying my bill was 22minutes!

Had a great experience here, very quick work, and i actually had to return after my exhaust was fixed due to another noise i couldn't here over my loud muffler and they tightened my sway bar for me for no charge give them a 5 star rate thanks again.

Very un happy. The customer service was great. Explaining stuff and being very nice HOWEVER, I went in for a wheel allignment (100$ + tax) and saw they had a maintenance package that included Change Engine Oil Replace Oil Filter (Filter Extra) Lubricate suspension components Inspect under hood fluids Inspect belts Visual under car Diagnosis Road Test Wheel Alignment Diagnosis (Computer Printout) Brake Diagnosis Suspension Diagnosis Inspect Tire Tread and Pressures Test Battery and Charging System Inspect Exterior Lights PLUS A WHEEL ALIGNMENT FOR 169 PLUS TAX. So i decided to go with that because why not. To my surprise I had my keys handed back to me and was told "everything is fine" I had just put new control arms my self and found a crack in my caliper along with seized pistons. And my rear suspension is gone. 2 things they were supposed to check that they missed. I brought up the breaks and he just said "you need to replace the calipers". My exaust manifold is gone to, and he only told me after I brought up how they missed the breaks. If they looked they would of saw my breaks were gone. But they didnt even look. Very upset.

I had some work done on my car. They seemed like a good place so I returned 2nd time, they quoted me for a cracked manifold for $1,600 There wasn't a cracked manifold I fixed the car for $6.00 3rd Visit and last ... I had a catalytic put on and a month later my exhaust fell off... they blamed the snow when it was caused by over torching the bolts and they refused to fix the problem Will not return

went in to have a muffler issue diagnosed. mike had a tech, Gord, put my vehicle on the hoist and in very quick time Gord had accurately diagnosed the corrective measure to take. after looking for my specific muffler Mike advised me it is only available through the OEM Dealer. mike then suggested some creative measures to take which will provide the same results at a lower cost. now mike is away on vacation and the people answering the phone are unaware of my situation and are not willing to listen and try to help while Mike is on vacation. i JUST HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL MIKE COMES BACK. OK I'LL WAIT - insert rolling eyes.

Just got my exhaust system rebuilt here today , great fast quality work , the price point was also great to have it done . When I showed up to my appointment I asked them if they had time to do my rear coils/springs and they said no problem since I had already bought the parts . All that work was done in 3 and half hours , they didn't waste time . Very impressed and will be back , they were very helpful and polite .

Went in for emission test but needed new battery, they were helpful. Brought a new battery back and they changed batteries. Cost for swapping battery $97.00! With tax, $107.35 to swap battery.

I had occasion to take my car into the Brantford location on Friday and found them to be friendly, quick and professional. I had no appointment and they were able to accommodated me. Now onto my question. Muffler man, intimates to my older mind, a company that repairs and installs mufflers. Should your slogan be? we ALSO repair and install mufflers I had no idea Muffler man is a full service centre. Just a thought. Good service. I will return.

Worst service I've ever gone through. Kept my car for 2 days, and still couldn't get a straight answer as to what was wrong with my car. A year ago I brought my car to get an oil change and I was told my Alternator was on its way out but not to worry because it would make it about another year just don't drive on the HWY. Right before Christmas I went back because my car was making noises, and it wasn't running as smoothly. I was first told it was my Alternator.... Then I went in to pick it up, he said it would be ready but when I went in to pick up my car he said he needs another day with it. Sounded pretty odd to me because he came across as confident it was indeed my Alternator. The next day I walked in to pick up my car for the 2nd time and still waited 2 hours, they had 3 guys working on my car at this time. I was then told it was my Tensioner belt, battery, and my AC Compressor which Im pretty sure they broke that themselves and that was why he needed to keep it an extra day. $684 later.... I was told it wasnt my Alternator at all... 2 months since the work had been done, I was driving and my car shut off in the middle of an 80 HWY, due to my Alternator. Thanks guys great work..... I will never go back, not even for a simple oil change. These guys give Mechanics a bad name. Oh and when I called, he told me I'm SOL .

I've been a customer of this Mufflerman for several years now, and I've had nothing but exemplary service from these guys. Very competent and up front. Recently they put a new bearing in my wife's car, the bearing had a faulty wheel speed sensor ring in it. They replaced it for free under warranty. No hassles or "you brought it home and now you're screwed" talk at all.

Made an appointment to have my winter tires put on, couldn't get in until 3:00 but they said it would take an hour at the most. Waited an hour and they still hadn't even moved my car from the parking lot and I had somewhere else to be. They told me to come back the next morning. Not sure what the point of making an appointment is if they're taking people without appointments as well. Nice guys working there but I don't have time for stuff like that and I won't be back.

Paid to have rotors replaced on both wheels about a year ago. Service person lied and just slapped some grease on and sanded the rotor. Filed a BBB report. Oh and paid extra for their lifetime pads. Well this will be the third time to fix the same problem in the last four years. Car has 40K on it. These people are scam artists. AVOID!
