I've been dealing with the management and staff at this store for 24 years, first in their original location and then at the new location on Anderson Way. In all those years I have never received anything less than 5-Star Service, 5-Star Tires and accessories and 5-Star pricing. I have come to them for my personal vehicles as well as our entire business fleet of 16 units. Even my family and extended family have followed me to this dealership. I would not go anywhere else...!!!

Jeff and the rest of the crew at Kal Tire were awesome to deal with. I initially went in to get a slow leak patched but the tire was actually seperating from the rim, and found my other front tire was in similar shape. They had some high quality like new Toyo tires that they sold to me, installed and balanced for only 99 dollars. They didnt upsell me or try to talk me into new tires, they gave me what i needed. Very happy!

I took my tire there to get it patched since I drove over a nail. They tried to plug it but said the puncture was too close to the sidewall to be repaired properly and proceeded to try selling me a new tire. Something was fishy since the puncture was a couple inches from the sidewall and the plug attempt looked like a hack job so I took the tire to another tire company who managed to patch the tire no problem. Gave 2 stars because at least they didn't charge me for the botch job but I wouldn't go back.

I had to go to this Kal Tire after one of the tires a different Kal Tire sold me blew out 7 mo. after I bought it. This hours after a separate Kal Tire promised me they would replace it, but instead made me wait 3 hours for the tire delivery that didn't even show up- which is why I had to drive to this Kal Tire. The customer service man was very unsympathetic and even ended up overcharging me for the warranty tire replacement. He even tried to blame me for the tire prematurely blowing out first saying I drove on it too far after it was flat and then saying that I probably drove in a manner that was hard on the tires - both of which was unsubstantiated. After dealing with the poor customer service man, I get in the car to go and they hadn't even reset the tire pressure guage so the indicator light on my dash was still on. I also later discovered that they had just placed the dirty spare tire into the back of the car instead of placing it back in its proper place on the car. Kal Tire has definitely lost my business for good. There are lots of other choices - don't waste your money here.

They are efficient; if you don't have an appointment to swap tires, you can drop the vehicle off before 0730, chances are it'll get done before the end of the day. My experience with tire purchase from them has been that they will upsell, so shop around.

Yesterday, I went to get new winters that I had ordered and my appointment was set for 1:30. When I arrived the technician told me that it would be about half an hour. And hour and a half later after not hearing anything, I called and asked how much longer and they said another whole hour. Another hour and a half later and I finally picked up my car at 4:30. Why did I make an appointment intentionally before the busy season to avoid this? When I picked up my car I asked if they could dispose of my old tires they said sure and to drop them off at the service entrance. Go to my car and there are no tires in it. I ask where my tires are and they say they must have gotten rid of them already? What? Then I wake up the next day and one of my tires is completely flat and guess what, they're not open on Sundays so I will have to take time off of work to get this sorted out on Monday. What a great way to spend $800.

Rudest staff member I've dealt with. Dropped our car off at 7:30am, called at 4:30pm curious when car would be ready. 1st call .. put on hold immediately - 7min. 2nd call .. they answered and asked me to hold - 12min. 3rd call he answered and took my call this is how the conversation went. I ask immediately please don't put me on hold. He replies don't worry I'm as tired hearing the phone ring as you are waiting, if you have a quick question as I have a customer standing in front of me. (Me) Just curious as to when my car will be ready (Him) have you been called yet? (Me) no not yet (Him) then probably not any time soon .... click. Annnd he hung up. Ok he did answer my question but my thought is there was NO need to be so rude. Umm our tire purchase came to $950, that's a good sized purchase is it not !?!? How about a little respect for your paying customers.

ISSUES RESOLVED: Spoke to Justin (the store manager) and he has gone above and beyond to rectify this issue. He did some detective work to track down my fathers number and reached out to us. He then refunded not only the cost of the tire but the all the work they did. This level of customer service was greatly appreciated and we will continue to be customers of theirs. Just goes to show that good companies will do their best to make their customers happy. Thank you very much!!! ORIGINAL POST: Would not recommend this shop. They destroyed one of our new trailer tires (that we purchased elsewhere) which led to them selling us another tire at double the cost. When we took the damaged tire to the shop we bought it from the owner then called Kal Tire. The technician (from Kal Tire) then ADMITTED TO RUINING THE TYRE but they refused to do anything to rectify the issue. 100% unexceptionable and we will not be using them again.

Let me start off by saying I generally like Kal tire and have had nothing but good things to say about other locations. So do not let this reflect on all Kal Tire Locations, just this one. While on a road trip, I dropped off my car for a quick tire change and alignment. Issue 1 - During the alignment, the mechanic snapped a bolt. They informed me that the part wasn't available for 4 days, so I would have to fly home because my car was unable to be driven at this point putting an end to my road trip. Issue 2 - They decided the easiest way to remove said snapped bolt, was to cut the control arm before asking me (I would have preferred to tow the car somewhere else before taking this last resort measure) conveniently doubling my bill, charging me for the labor and parts to fix their mistake. Unfortunately, they waited until they had already cut it out to call me and tell me about this. The lack of upfront communication, mechanic errors which cost me time and money, and lack of urgency were extremely costly and disappointing. Please learn from my mistake, and take your car to a qualified mechanic, or at very least a different location. Edit: Today, when my tire pressure light came on, I realized that they had made further errors. The TPMS sensor, which is now leaking, on my front driver side wheel was replaced without my knowledge. While I appreciate that they did this free of cost, I don’t appreciate that they did not tell me they needed to replace it. Additionally, the new sensor is the wrong color, and now does not match my wheels, or other Valve stems, so I will have to replace it anyways. Just another way this Kal Tire cost me money. I do appreciate that they responded to my comment on google, however they never bothered to actually get in touch with me.

This is not the first time I have been to Kal Tire and it certainly won"t be the last. I have only received five star service there. Having previously owned a service station with my brother in Calgary I know the importance of good service. The service desk person (Josh I think) even hurried to the front door to open it for me on arrival. Then as writing up my vehicle request he listened to each thing I had to say, wrote them down and made worthwhile suggestions to my questions. Very pleasant and relaxing to know you are listened to. I did have a couple minor things they found and suggested I get fixed. I did know about them but had forgotten. They fixed those (on my Ok) while the vehicle was on the hoist. Nice. Even the free coffee was hot. I have no reservations about highly recommending Kal Tire to anyone needing anything from an oil change to major service.

Piss poor customer service, after I was told from one nice older gentleman they could put a quick plug in. This kid with spiked hair that's still stuck with the 90's come in with the most stupid look on his face trying to stare me down and gives me attitude telling me that they have no time to put a 5 min plug in with very disrespectful tone and that I would have to wait about 4 hours. I'm in the middle of moving to Edmonton kids and all. Never will I deal with this piss poor company again. Never will I even suggest this company to anyone anymore. Also this is not my first problem with this company, spent to much money there and treated like garbage.

We are a medical team part of the wildfires firefighting effort. Kal Tire people usually are our “go-to” to replace/repair tires when on the field. This time, they were on-site within minutes and one hour later, the tire was replaced, all other tires inspected and inflated and engine oil topped up. You rarely find that kind of service nowadays. It is obvious to me that “your call is important to us” goes well beyond than a simple recording.

Had a tire sensor fault show up on my truck a couple days before leaving after the long weekend to go camping with our travel trailer so didn't really want to be hauling the trailer if those weren't working. So I called on Saturday afternoon of the long weekend "haha I know right" to see what they thought, and they told me to drop by and they will check them for me! Once there they found one sensor not working so said I could leave the truck here and they will replace that sensor and check out the others again. So I did, and when I returned to pick up the truck they told me another sensor stopping working while resetting them, so they had to replace two not one, but only charged me for one. Awesome! Kaltire did a great job as usual to make sure I was happy and on the road as planned. If you enjoy quality products and quality service this is the choice for work on your vehicle.

I took my car in for an out of province inspection They did get to it when they said but called to say my tires failed. I brought my wi yet tired in them for them to change over. This is when the poor service began. I got a text later that night to say the car was done and ready for pick up. So the next morning we walked down to pick up the car. When we got there we found it wasn’t ready at all. So we went for coffee and returned in 2 hours. The car was ready but they hadn’t taken the worn out tires off the rims like we asked. So we paid for the whole service which included $20 to have the old tires removed from the rims. They said it would be done the next day. So once again we came back I. The afternoon and they still weren’t done. So it meant another trip back to pick up our rims. The person I talked to on the phone said they would wave the $20. When we went to pick up the rims no one knew anything about our refund. Therefore no refund was issued. Terrible customer service! We will not be returning. This was not a good impression of our first interaction in Vernon. Update: Kal Tire followed up with me and resolved my issue very quickly. Thank you.

I have had my vehicle in here several times, some for just tires and some for maintenance work like brakes and air filters. I have found them courteous and pleasant to deal with. The work they do seems fine to me. Its a very busy shop so I always make an appointment and have never had an issue. If you just show up, they usually have a line up, but that tells me its busy and you are busy if you do decent work. The one time I had a flat, they came out and fixed it right away. I like this place over a quick lube or dealership.

The manager called the following day and reconciled the problems I had that day. I am rather impressed by the speed of the response Took 2.5 hours to do an oil change and tire swap. I had called the day before and had been told that they could do both things at the same time. Not true. The raised the truck up, then joked around for a bit, the started draining the oil and joked around some more. This continued the entire time. Then the tires were thrown haphazardly in the bed where 1 bounce could toss a tire out. When I complained about the length of time, no good answer was given. I then was asked to sign and initial something without being able to read it first. When I asked what I was signing I was given attitude. .

I brought the car in today, and they fixed the tire and put it back on in under an hour, which was amazing...and they didn't charge me for it because I bought the tires there. My Mum came into your shop on Anderson Way to get her tires changed over on November 10,2021. They told her that the back brakes as well as the rotors and ball joints needed replacing. The estimate was just shy of a $1000. After taking the car to a friends shop we learned that the back brakes have 80% and the ball joints and wheel alignment didn’t need to be done. He charged us an hour labor and saved us nearly $900. We now have her summer tires stored at their warehouse. If they were still in our shed we would never be returning to Kal Tire ever! Consumer Beware !!!!

This is by far the worst Kal Tire I've ever been to. Everytime I drop in here, the staff are always rushed, know nothing and almost NEVER call/text you when your car is done, it's unbelievable. As someone who drives vehicles for fleets as well as personal vehicles, I'd much rather take my car to any other place in town. Only giving 2 Stars instead of 1 because of the courtesy drivers, they're great.

My vehicle is still there after 4 days. Today it was supposedly done which came as a suprise to me because they where suppose to call me after they checked my front end. When I called the store the employee told me that this time of year unfortunately things get overlooked. On a road trip at -31C from Winnipeg to Virden my 2 1/2 year old vehicle wouldn’t restart. The local dealership nor road side assistance that came with the vehicle could help me for several days. No rental cars were available. The local Tim Hortons owner made some calls and found me Kal Tire who was able to see me in half an hour ( local knowledge saves the day). In that same time period, I had found a local company to boost me, which allowed me to drive the vehicle over to Kal Tire. The service agent was great, had a new battery couriered over, installed and scanned in an hour. I found a hotel to wait out the bad weather at night and continued my trip uneventfully the next morning. Your help is greatly appreciated !

I brought my daughter in law's Touareg in to have a wheel alignment done . When I went to pick up the vehicle the fob battery had died and we couldn't get the car to open . I was on a huge time constraint because I was picking my granddaughter up from kindergarten. Justin said his staff would get me a battery. He loaned me a car seat ( because hers was locked in the car)and got me to my granddaughters school on time and back to Kal Tire where another one of his technicians had changed to battery for me and had everything ready to go. Went in the end of the day on Friday with my 40 foot bus conversion. Was greeted by a really friendly employee named Brandon. I needed a re-torque and tire pressure check(a real pain in a bus like this) he did it very quickly and best of all there was no charge! Would highly recommend this place especially for huge vehicles, there is lots of parking in the rear.

Took my car in for a tire swap and had my husband call ahead to see how long it would be. He was told they were a bit behind so it might be an hour; I decided I would walk home. When I got there to drop my keys off, Brayden addressed me by name, and said they would take it in right away. He was hoping to get me going sooner than previously expected, so I ended up waiting instead. 25 minutes later, I was on my way! Last month one of our tires was badly damaged so we made an appt with Kal Tire. They had to order the special tire so we had to wait a few days for the appt but that was ok, because the tire had been bought there, so cost was 90% covered. When I arrived on time, there was a long line up and I waited over 20 minutes to hand over my keys.There was some problem with installing the tire, so it took longer than expected to do the work. The counter clerk was very apologetic because of my wait, so he waived the charge and sent me on my way. That's service!

I am an Ontario resident who comes to Vernon each winter to ski. 2 yrs ago I bought 2 snow tires from this store, and had a bad service experience. the manager was quick to resolve the issue. This week I went in because of a slight shimmy, My car was taken in immediately, they cleaned all 4 rims, balanced 2 of them , checked my oil and topped up my wind shield washer fluid. When I went to pay my bill I was told it was complementary because the tires had been purchased there (2 yrs ago , and only 2 of them altho they cleaned all 4 rims) I was impressed, I normally go to Honda for service before I drive back to Ontario, but I will return to Kal Tire for service. I would definitely recommend a small mechanic business in town rather than a monopoly that hires kids and inexperienced mechanics to do the work on the vehicle that you rely on. Plus this way, you won't have to pay for that big Kal tire building they mark all their merchandise up to pay for. And gauranteed you'll be better respected, I'd bet on that!

I came in a few weeks ago to the Anderson Way location. Terrible customer service. 5 of us stood in line while the only employee behind the counter was on the phone. Now I understand that people get busy but he chatted for 15 minutes without acknowledging one of us. I didn't expect him to drop everything and serve us but how about a little eye contact so we can see he knows we exist. One gentleman even walked out. Finally a second worker came out (Will) who was very pleasant to deal with. Puts a very sour taste in my mouth after spending $1000+ at this place.

I love KAL tire but not this one. Never written a review in my life but now I feel like I have to. One day I go in and they are too busy to swap tires. He says "first come, first serve. No appointments". Today I go in and this guy says "you think you can just roll in and get your tires changed without an appointment?". I kid you not. Needless to say I went somewhere else.
