BOWLED OVER! I took my flat to get repaired on Tuesday afternoon. I had to steal away from work, but was told "no appointment needed with flats, we just try to get you in and out in about 45 minutes" so I went on my lunch hour. Unfortunately I was there for about an hour and a half. Not happy... but I get it (it's busy season; everyone's finally changing to summers after the freak April ice-storm!) ANYWAY, I drive out of my driveway to go to work this morning (Wednesday) and it's flat again!! I called OK Tire and they asked to bring it back so they can have another look. I call CAA and get a tow. (I'm now having to take time away from work yet again.) They said it's odd, but not unlikely that something punctured my tire between yesterday and today. (What?! REALLY?!) They said they do all kinds of tests and that it DEFINITELY was repaired yesterday. UGHHHH They gave me a lift to my work, which was a nice start. Then around 1PM, I got a call saying that "yep, for sure, something punctured it; it's clear as day. It's just bad luck." and I'm thinking oh great, how much is this gonna cost me now? Without missing a beat, he says "So I know this has been a big inconvenience, so we're covering the cost of the repair. Don't worry about that. And we're about 20 minutes away from dropping it off at your work." Wait... what? Yes. You read that right. What a pleasant surprise in this day and age that a company understands true customer service excellence and extends a helping hand. My husband's family has been going here for years and I'd recommend them to anyone! They really know the impact of reaching higher for their customers.

I was travelling from Ontario and the spark plugs and spark plug wires on cylinder 4 of my jetta seized and had it replaced by Ok tire chilliwack. At first I was skeptical because I have trust issues when mechanics deal with my german car as my past experiences was not good. I do all maintenance of my car including the spark plugs but because I was travelling I didn't bring any tools (my mistake). They changed the plugs and the wires and when I got to Vancouver the check engine light came on. I checked under the hood and the spark plug wire on cylinder 3 is leaking spark due to the damage of incorrect installation. Chilliwack is 1.5hrs away from Vancouver so I went to the 2 Ok tire branches in Vancouver. Both branches wouldn't fix my car until 2 days after as they said they are full and busy and ordering the parts would take days. I was frustrated because I was supposed to travel back to Ontario the next day. Instead of waiting for 2 more days for them to fix it, I decided to go to the VW dealer instead. The dealer changed the wires and did a complimentary all around check and topped up all fluids to make sure I am safe to travel across the country. Something Ok tire didn't do with the same price of the service. In short, I wouldn't recommend taking European cars to Ok tire unless you live in the area and is ok to keep coming back for issues on their work.

Long story short, got a flat tire which was unfix-able, they put on my spare, ordered a new tire, and I was back the next day. The employee over torqued one of my bolts and it was stuck till the point one of my studs broke in half and they started to blame a pre existing condition and charged me an extra 190$ to replace the stud and install my tire. Wouldn't recommend going here.

Second off all run by father and son where fighting and swearing was going on with customer hearing everything. Don't take cgildren there it is rated PG. HIDDEN FEES!!! I was told 25 dollars a tire plus tax. I have been getting my tires changed every season for the last 5 years. I have gone to kal tire and Canadian tire Not ONCE have I been charged a corrosion removal for $20 I WAS NOT consulted and just charged at the end. I will NEVER GO BACK.

The woman who works in the office Angie , is a very nasty person to deal with . They pretended to have a tire installer be a uhaul representivtivr when they had made error over error with uhaul reservations . Angie has no professionalism and should not deal with public . Ombudsman have been contacted and this representative of uhaul reported after 8 yes 8 calls of brutality and verbal accosting and hanging up all calls were recorded and further action is being taken .

While traveling through central Canada we experienced a breakdown near Grand Prairie, Alberta. We were towed to OK Tire Company on a Sunday afternoon and Monday morning I arrived at the shop to start the repair process. First thing you notice when entering the building is how neat and clean it is. The second and most important is the attitude of the people. You get an immediate sense that they care about you and providing service. Our problem was not major but it was frustrating as the parts were not readily available and could have causes a 9 day delay in our travel plans. They stuck with the problem, even modifying a part to make it work. I seldom give a five star rating to anyone but this group of people deserve five and more. Thanks OK Tire -you are great.

When I was here getting some new tires I was greeted with friendly smiles and top notch service. They have a coffee machine you can drive some coffee into you while sitting on the nice ass couches and guess what. They give you the remote for the TV instead of forcing you to watch some garbage. They initially quoted me around $900 as they figured the problem was something other than what I thought it was. Called me back a half hour later to tell me we were both wrong and it was only going to be a $210 easy fix. Not often you see shops do that. Highly recommend.

My first OK Tire experience was great! They had exactly the tires I wanted, at the lowest price I could find in town. Installation was quick, service was professional, and I was provided with rebate forms and a GWP before I left. Tires are, for me anyways, a necessary investment, but an experience like this makes an expensive purchase a little less painful.

New owner last two years. I believe he’s in the game of up charging customers. I was quoted by his staff a week ago for rear break work about $550. I book the job for today. I get a call from the new owner that the price is now $1100. I immediately stopped his work and went to pick up my van. Took my van to another mechanic where he sowed my fresh hammer marks on my rotors! So now these must be replaced. I went back to the owner of OK Tire and showed him what his mechanics did today. He flat out denied it. So you book a customer for a reasonably priced brake job, let them drop it off the night before and in the morning quote them with an over inflated price. Nine times out of 10 people are just going to take it but this time they run into a problem. I believe he’s in the business of grabbing a few extra dollars out of people‘s pockets when they’re not looking. Seems quite typical of these kind of “new owners“ do not I repeat do not take your vehicle to OK tire and Burnaby. The old owners were great and had good reviews but this new guy is a real sleaze and doesn’t care about quality of work or customers wallets. Stay clear away there’s plenty of other reliable reasonable mechanics out there.

Staff is friendly, I explained where I drive and tires were chosen for me. We hunt lots and I don't like getting stuck in mud or snow. I'm very happy with the tires! Although the mechanics were nice and pleasant to talk to on the phone, in general there needs to be more organization with this business. From the start of trying to find a spot there were absolutely no parking stalls. When I finally got there I phoned to let them know I parked across the street which parking is not allowed and they told me they just park in front of their garage with other cars in them. The lady at the front desk did not look like she knew what she was doing in fact I was wondering why she was even hired there, there is a lack of professionalism and communication as she seemed awkward working in the front desk. I came to my appointment 5 minutes early and they were late by 20 minutes. Update* Because of what they quoted me ($1300) and saying I had to replace a upper intake manifold for my SUV and said it was going to be a big job I thought I would rather have the vehicle fixed in Parkville closer to my home. After getting it inspected and fixed at the okay Tire in Parksville they said it wasn't the upper intake manifold but a spring that needed to be replaced and tighten... Total was $388, I feel like I could have been ripped off if I continued with the work in the Courtenay Okay Tire.

Dodgy. Masters of Making It Sound Good when it comes to making up problems that do not exist. Parts are way over-priced/over quoted. They will charge you for "Gravy Work" which means billing the customer for more time than a repair job actually takes. Let Christian give you a detailed quote on the labor (time it will take to install parts) along with a price quote on the exact parts needed . Then take your vehicle to get a second and even a third opinion on what Christian quoted you. There is a very good chance he will be up to no good as we have found on numerous occasions. Also visit vehicle parts stores like Parts Source and get a quote on the parts needed and compare them with Christians parts price quote. IF you trust these guys they will take advantage of you.

I had a faulty wiper blade that kept coming off during use as the adapter provided was not seating correctly into the wiper arm. The guys at the shop helped to fix the issue without resorting to buying a new blade (as these were brand new) and sent me off with safe, functioning wipers. I get here he basically tells me someone came gave him more money and now I need to pay him 1000 dollars more what a joke. and he gave me 40 dollars (not bad of him actually ) . Took my 2009 Fj cruiser to this location for an axel seal repair and brake pads/rotor. Techs didn't tighten the caliper bolts resulting in one bolt falling out and the other with 2-3 threads left holding it on. Given the safety sensitive nature of break repair one would think the techs would double/triple check their work. Guess not. I will never have my vehicle serviced at an OK tire nor would I recommend anyone else.

But the most ridiculous is when I told them I decided to get my car repair at another place, they said BY LAW they cannot let me drive my car away anyway. I visited OK tire on Kempt road on June 22nd to swap into my new all seasons. I am a mini driver, so when I dropped off my car in the morning I was sure to show the advisor how to take apart the fob and reveal the key (used on the glove box). I had originally intended to store my winters at their location. 2 hours after drop off I received a call saying the company could not find my tire lock. I tried to explain to them that I had been a client for a few years, and their company had placed the lock in a highlighter yellow bag at my previous visit. After offering so solution, and assuring me that all areas of my vehicle had been searched, advisor J said I would have to take my car to mini, as only the dealership could change my tires... I was forced to leave work to come retrieve my car. Upon arrival, I checked the glove box of my car, and right on top of my registration was the highlighter yellow bag. No one had even opened up the glove box. When I inquired why, the technician said he did not know how to open the glove box/fob key. His advisor colleague did not relay the message, and she had even assured me that the glove box had been checked & had no tire lock. When I went into the storefront to assure the advisors that the key had been found, I was told "ok!". Zero apology for any of what was entirely their miscommunication, causing me to leave work. I phoned back about 30 minutes later, deciding I'd prefer not to store my winter tires at OK. After I thanked the advisor following my request change, she did not say thank you or good bye, and she abruptly hung up. I later received a random text from an unknown number a few hours later saying, "car ready for pick up". This number was completely unrelated to the previous number that had sent me ok tire texts. When I arrived to pick up the car, the advisor did acknowledge their mis-step, and offered me 25$ off my service (which does not even bring OK tires prices to being comparable to other service providers). I must acknowledge that this advisor listened genuinely as I calmly relayed my grievances. Fast forward to today (48 hours later), a quality check provider left me a voicemail. When I called the same number back, I was told there was no direct line to contact the manager/individual performing the QC. The advisor said she could take note of my feedback herself (please note this was the same advisor I spoke to on the phone 2 days prior). I told the advisor I would skip on the feedback as I could not ensure it would be relayed. Hence, I am posting my experience here. I will only avoid OK and advise friends to do the same. The fact that I paid a premium to receive this service, and then have feedback disregarded was unfortunate. I highly recommend Coast Tires, 3 mins down the road. They are far more professional, and offered outstanding service at a far superior rate. They were polite, and greeted me with a warm smile. I dropped off my tires with coast right after leaving OK tire. I hope this experience gets relayed to management, who can address a serious issue on their front end.

Paid them to service my rear brakes. Had a mechanic friend check them out a month later because they were squeaking and found out the service was never done. Owner got pissed off with me when I questioned their business practices because "they had to make a profit." I'm never going here again. The military discount is useless if they are going to overcharge for bullshit work and poor integrity. Stay away from Ok tire if you love your car and your wallet.

I have been going to OK Tire for a couple of years for repairs and have found the staff to be fantastic. Brian / Darrel / John, have always been there. Yesterday going hunting i noticed a low tire on my truck thought i was not going to get out. Had been shopping around for new tires for months. Finally decided it was almost October and needed to get on it. Came across OK Tire well googling a specific tire. I called to get a install quote and the gentleman that answered the phone was so nice and patient with me. This is the second time I've ever had to buy tires. They got me in super quickly as well. So major points for that lol. On appointment day the staff was polite and answered my questions. They were quick about the replacement and getting my Buick road ready for winter. Highly recommend.

I went there to fix my brake for ford fusion, the brake paddle was going to the floor and they ended up bleeding the brakes after “the inspection ”. The issue didn’t resolve so they were like you should reach out to previous repair shop and Calipers could faulty. I went to ford dealership and issue was totally different with my HCU unit. I paid for the service which didn’t even resolve my issue

I would say a bad experience. I had gotten my tires changed to winter tires from them. My expectations were that they will do their job properly, but may be that was an incorrect one. They didnt even check my tire pressure and fill it . Within a few kilometers my tires reported low pressure. Also when checked found out that one of the tire's pressure valve was damaged and the air was leaking. Trusting them after changing tires, I was on an outstation trip the next day and it was a huge pain getting the valve replaced. I am never gonna go to this place where not even basic checks are done. Updating the comment for the owner's reply: if u had tried to fill up the air on my tires while changing, you would have noticed the leak as it was in the valve. But u guys didnt even fill up the tires or check the tire pressures while replacing. Simply this is laziness by your car mechanic.

I deal with OK Tire mostly for tires. I buy my new winters and summer tires there when I need them. I go basically twice a year to get my winters on/off. They offer a very convenient service to store my tires there. I call ahead and book my appointments so that when I get there, my car can get done quickly even when they are massively busy (they are usually very busy which talks about how great their service reputation is). When I need the brakes or alignment/suspension serviced, I get them to work on it because I really do trust their judgement - they are not just trying to up-charge me like other shops tend to do. I tend to do the service they recommend because they explain it to me and give me their opinion on whether it should be done at that time or not. I definitely recommend this location and its team to anyone that needs honest and over-the-top service. They really value their relationships with their customers. In fact I go out of my way to get my service there - it takes me 30 minutes each way to get there - that is how great I think their service is!

Early July I took my car for an inspection. They called back fairly fast and told me to replace one wheel bearing for a 2007 Yaris without ABS would cost me 800+tax including the inspection and shining up my front lights. Needless to say that is outrageous because I got it fixed for 150 dollars at another place. The guy also said that the wheelbearing that they failed me for shouldn't have even failed. The fact they tried to rip me off that much is disgusting. So after having it fixed we took it back to get inspected. When my partner went to pick it up he told me the guy didn't look happy and was not friendly what so ever. Evidently trying to rip me off. I got other quotes from other garages and not even close to what they tried to charge me. Will not be taking my business back here.

I had a flat tire and found one of the lug nuts was stripped so I couldn't take it off to put on the spare. On a Saturday morning, I was able to roll into the shop having filled the tire with a can of tire sealant. It was quickly fixed and was soon back on the road.

I paid the price I was quoted in today's world it is such a pleasant change of pace to actually deal with an owner who not only wanted and did appreciate my business. THIEFS I had front end work done on my infinity and bought some tires. I was quoted 2800. When I came to pick up my car they told me it would be 3660. They said it took longer then expected and they needed a part from the dealer. I understand 50-100$ but not 800+. They treated me very poorly. I simply wanted them to honour the quote or at least get it close. 800$ is a lot of money for me . Also both times I was in the lady's breath had alcohol on it.BEWARE B.D.
