I would give it no star if I could. Took my van in for a safety and they tried to give me a laundry list of repairs needing done totalling $3,000.00 plus tax... He was super rude to me when I tried to question it slightly, so I took the van to two more places for quotes because I needed to be sure. One place charged me $60 for the check and quoted me $900, the other place quoted me $800 so I left the van there to get the work done... BIG difference from $3,000.00. GoodYear (Benson Certified Auto Service) is a HUGE rip off, I guarantee it. Both other places told me they've heard the same about Benson's... I would love to say what I really think of them, but I will keep this professional. DO NOT GO TO BENSON CERTIFIED AUTO SERVICE/GOODYEAR BELLEVILLE, ONTARIO. You will be scammed out of money.

Last week I bought a full new set of tires for my own vehicle and had a flat before the end of the day it was installed. They thought maybe a valve; yep was a valve... 3 hours later - another flat. Sure it was a valve. I am soooo patient but I'm tired, as a woman and a consumer both... UPDATE: the problem ended up being a long-shot and in no way the fault of Benson's or Goodyear products. This has been a perfect Guest Recovery experience; including not being made to feel awful and my son is now a returning customer too! Thank you so much to the Service manager Peter and the technicians.

After ignoring the poor customer service reviews, I still went ahead and called them up to get a quote for a set of all season tires. After getting some prices, I asked about what the benefit of employee tire coupons would be (since my friend is an employee and may give me some), he outright said, SHOULD HAVE BEEN UPFRONT ABOUT THAT AND NOT WASTED MY TIME SINCE I HAVE TO GO THROUGH A DIFFERENT LIST FOR COUPON PRICES, that was extremely rude and impolite and only 2 mins into the call. So I hung up and called the Hwy 62 location and Chris there was a great help and got the tires ordered in less than 5 mins. So all, avoid the downtown location as all other reviews said.

The manager would not make the effort to properly fix my car, even after I researched the solution and offered it to him. He just walked away. I asked for help from Bensons head office and they are doing everything to fix my cars alignment challenge. They want a good reputation. Refreshing. The final result was my car was retested at a second Benson auto service store. My problem is still not fixed. The mechanic tried his best but the car still pulls. Oh well.

I called the store to get a price on winter snow tires. I was quoted $1050 all in …out the door tax included. When I went to pick up my car and pay, he said it would be $1201 as there was an environmental fee etc. The environmental fee shown on my bill was $16. That is a far cry from the difference of about $150. I do not like to be low-balled. If I am quoted a price I expect to pay that price. I could have gotten a set of Michelin from a Costco for $1030 (out the door), however I chose to buy local. I will have to rethink my purchases in future.

I found myself with a soft tire after work on a Friday night Needing to drive an hour and a 1/2 home. After trying a few different places for a plug. I wound up a good year. An hour before closing they took me and right away plugged my tire and I was on the way again for the weekend ready for work. the fellow at the front desk was kind and courteous, polite, professional. After getting turned down in several different places a Friday evening and needing the truck for the next day I was getting frustrated at the situation .after dealing with goodyear getting me up and on the road it turned my evening around. 5 stars fellows. Great job

This place is a hack job, got a huge bill for new bars and a structural alignment and they returned it with a ripped CV boot. The CV boots only had 8000 km's on them... They were unpleasant and unhelpful and refused to even talk about it. Stay away.

Went for an alignment specified that I had a slightly lowered vehicle than in stock form said no problem then they told me that they align corvettes that are lower than my vehicle. Towed the vehicle over the manager changed his mind and proceed to be rude,lost my money on being towed to and from.took it to Goodyear in Trenton got done and back on under a hour

Worst experience I can say I’ve ever had dealing with an auto shop. Went to get my rims put on winter tires, turned out they didn’t fit but still got charged for the five minutes it took them to figure out they wouldn’t fit. Yet no one bothered to check in advance if they would fit. When I questioned the front desk associate on this (Peter), he proceeded to raise his voice at me and tell me the whole thing was my fault. He also told me I wasted everyone’s time. Beyond ignorant. As someone who works in customer service I would never speak to a customer like that. Without a doubt never coming here again.

As a former Goodyear Canada employee and professional licensed mechanic and electrician, I can say first hand this shop lacks both professional management and skilled labour. Twice my vehicle was returned with damage caused by their, and I use this term loosely, “technicians”. First time they lowered a vehicle onto a set of tires crushing the rocker panel... denied it... second time stripped threads on a steering column... denied it. Also had to take my vehicle to another shop to have tires rebalanced. Incredibly poor workmanship and zero integrity. If you would like a shop that leaves both your vehicle and wallet in worse shape than when you arrived, this is the place. My advice, find a reputable garage and take your business elsewhere.

Went here to get my brakes done. They told me my back brakes were still good, only my front brakes needed to be done. The charged me $450.00 for front brakes and rotors. Less than 9 months later I was starting to hear brake issues again. I had recently moved out of the Belleville area and to a new city where I brought my car to another automotive workshop. They took a look a my car and told me my front brakes were done with the cheapest brake pads and rotors available. That the rotors looked fine on the outside and the inside was basically shot. The back brakes were cracked and severely over due. The new shop re did all the work this shop did and replace my back brakes for $550.00 and they come with a life time warranty. Do not come to this shop the are scam artists.

Made an appointment and mistakenly showed up at wrong goodyear....called from goodyear hwy 62 and was told no problem...showed up 7 minutes late and was told my appointment was bumped...Peter made a tire sale and wasn't going to lose it...he told me he would do that every time..."not gonna lose the sale"...well Peter, you've lost a customer.....or two...or three....
