I had Phobia do some work on my modified 14’ mustang gt. Had them install headers, oil pump gears and a new twin disc clutch. Steve and the guys at phobia treated my car as if it was their own. They kept me up to date on the work being done and the progress as well. Work was done flawlessly and great care was taken to make sure my baby was given back to me in the way it was dropped out. I travelled 5 hours each way to have them complete the work on my car. I dont trust many people to work on my vehicles but the Phobia crew is one of them! I highly recommend these guys whether it be working on your high power muscle car or simply an oil change. Theyre car guys working on cars and a stand up bunch at that! I also recently purchased a set of wheels and tires from them for our suv. Great price!!!!! Go see these guys for all your auto needs.

Found them on trusted Saskatoon,we need a block heater installed on our CX-7 since the dealership never bothered to inform us there was none EVER installed when we bought it.Not a good sign when I call at 1340 hours on Tuesday afternoon and have to robo message a service center when trying to find a reputable place.Please answer you phones when a new customer searches YOU out?It is bad enough finding decent auto repair folks as it is but leaving voice mails all day....not cool.I will try again,but first impression,humans should be free to answer these calls.

My truck had an emergency repair to be done. It was a Saturday afternoon and phobia Auto was almost closing. We were passing through from manitoba that weekend on business. Steve the owner worked after hours while his thanksgiving gravy was getting cold at home on the table. They changed out the manifold gasket which fixed the antifreeze leak. From the first point of contact when booking on the phone, to dropping my car off, ti the communication from my mechanic, to picking my car up-- everything was fantastic. All of their staff are incredibly knowledgeable and genuinely seem to care for their clients and business. It felt great to trust in their advice and guidance, and not worry about being mislead or deceived at all. My car needed a lot of brake work and they handled everything extremely well and efficiently. When picking my car up, the mechanic, Donovan, personally met with me to consult on another concern I have with my car. We discussed options and I'm going back next week to sort it out. I'm grateful for all of the time they spent not only with my car, but with me to ensure I was properly educated on what was going on and made aware of anything important. Bonus points for having loaner cars too!

There are not enough stars to rate the superiority of this shop. Huge shout out to Chris at Phobia Auto for his impeccable service. I wanted a second opinion on an issue spotted by a mechanic at a different shop, so I brought my truck in to Phobia and Chris was quick and eager to fit me into his busy schedule. He assessed the issue of the other mechanic and found it to be a minor problem, but noted there were additional issues which were more severe and should be addressed as they posed major safety concerns. Chris then took me back and showed me how worn down and rusty my break rotors were and how my rear brake backing plates were so rusty they were chipping off. This was something that was easily seen and should have been brought to my attention by the other shop. From there, Chris provided professional, unbiased, options on what could be done with my vehicle. He was not pushy, and he did not try to make minor issues seem worse in order to obtain more business. After our discussion, Chris went out of his way to fit me into his schedule in order to have everything fixed by the next day. The work he did was nearly spot on with the amount that he quoted me, which was fair, reasonable, and far lower than what any other shop had quoted for the same work. I am so appreciative for Chris at Phobia Auto and would recommend him to anyone looking for a feasible, reliable, and trustworthy mechanic.

I took a 20 year old Alberta SUV to Phobia to get an out of province safety done. I give them 5 stars because they did good work even though I didn't like the results. They have a good shop rate and the gossip around town is all good that I can hear. Just so you know they are good enough mechanics that they will catch anything wrong with your vehicle. I suppose that is a good thing, just a little annoying when you are getting a safety done lol. Update. I left a bad update before but I have to apologize to the staff. I brought the SUV there with apparently one weak battery. They had to boost it to get it in and they parked it outside when They were done. I came to pick it up and by then the weak battery was dead. Long story short, 2 batteries later, a new alternator (weak battery equals not very nice for the alternator), one tow truck bill and the SUV is all set and runs good. Keep up the good work guys.

We are new to the Warman and Martensville area and we were looking for a reliable, honest mechanic that we could work with and we had heard good things about Phobia. We have been to Phobia twice now, once for a nail in a rear tire and then on the morning we were to go to a funeral last week, we had picked up a screw in the same tire. So, I phoned them at 8 in the morning and I explained our situation and they had me in there right away, fixed it within 15 minutes and then didn't charge me anything! These folks are awesome!

Wish I could say that my experience here was great as I love to support local business, but it was horrible. They had my car for 2 days, I had to call at the end of each day to even see what was going on with my car as it was supposed to be a simple A/C charge. After making a call at the end of the second day in the shop, I was told nothing was fixed as they needed a part that they could not find and to come and pick it up. They charged me $100 for fixing nothing and not even making a phone call to discuss the details of my car. They also informed me I had a mouse nest that for the $100 I paid, they didn't even take out. In response to the below. I understand that a car can not be re-charged if a leak is found, but I was not explained this from your shop, I was told this after calling another shop. I was not explained anything but that you were waiting on numbers for quotes and couldn't find the part. This was after me calling in both times. I was not told either about any charge prior to it coming in, which I would not have had any problem with if it was communicated. The big issue here is communication. I should not have had to wait 2 days and make the calls myself to find out what was going on, a call should have been made the second you found the back line to find out how to proceed and 2 days would not have been wasted getting quotes to replace the back lines which I instructed to be cut in the first place.

Stopped in today with less an hour to closing as my mom's brakes were not sounding very good. They were getting worse as the day went by. I suggested we stop at Phobia to have it checked as we had a 45 minute drive home. The owner looked at the brakes and said they would fix it right then. The owner called for parts and had them sent out from Saskatoon. My mom's car was fixed in two hours and for less than we thought it would be. Would definitely go back and recommend to others.

A repeat customer this time. I knew my brakes were ready for replacement but I have been hearing a grinding noise from the front passenger wheel. Derek checked it out and found my ball joint was loose. So I had that replaced as well. My car now drives better and I feel safe knowing that it's repaired. If anything else goes wrong with my car I am coming back. I have told people that if they need anything fixed or replaced on their vehicle to come here.

UPDATE 2: Took the Nissan to Phobia this morning, Phobia provided a loaner car and I picked up the Nissan this afternoon. Steve installed new front rotors and brakes at NO CHARGE! I drove the Nissan home paying particular attention to braking - NO SHIMMY. Impressive - I've updated my rating and have changed my view on Phobia. Thanks Steve for taking my complaint seriously, even though the original work was done 9 months ago. UPDATE 1: Steve, the owner replied to the above asking me to contact him. I will do so and see how it goes. Original review: We had our 2011 Nissan serviced for the first time at Phobia. I just wanted it checked and had a few other specific things I wanted done. My wife took it in for service, left it for a while, and then picked it up. I was shocked at the cost, just over $1000 including taxes. I had asked for the wheels to be rotated TO ENSURE EVEN WEAR - NOT DONE since they thought the best wheels were on the front already. I asked them to investigate a steering wheel shimmy when braking as I suspected the front rotors (had them machined once before for same reason) - they replaced the REAR rotors and pads and THE CAR STILL SHIMMIES! I phoned and confirmed that the FRONT brakes were not serviced (they said they did send a text which stated that the front brakes needed work soon but did not have a text indicating that I had said not to do the front). Some of the costs were too high - following are LABOUR only: >>radiator flush - $180 ($200 with tax) for 2 hours. Allow an hour to add cleaner, let car run, open drain plug, dump dirty fluid, close drain plug. What did they do for the other hour - play cards? >>replace air filter - $45 ($50 with tax). When I get an oil change at Great Canadian Oil, they do that for free in 5 minutes! >>replace 4 spark plugs - $90 ($100 with tax) I'm sure they make money on parts as well. Phobia prides itself on it's labour rate - $90/hour. But that 'advantage' disappears pretty quickly when they apply excessive time to each job that makes up one car service. I’m thinking that they apply the ‘book rate’ to each job individually but work on several jobs at one time which should result in much smaller time required to do the jobs. For example, while the fluid is draining from the rad, they could replace the air filter and change the spark plugs. I gave them 2 stars because they did supply a loaner car. I don’t intend to go back. When I called them about this, they said the work was still under warranty, so I could bring the car in. But all that means is that if the front brakes need to be replaced, they will do that and charge me for it. I intend to change the front brakes myself.

I went here for brakes on my truck and they were hundreds of dollars cheaper then the dealer and did high quality work with quality parts! I was so happy with the service I booked my truck back in the following week to have them address an issue the dealership spent 18hrs labor trying to figure out and couldn't, Phobia not only figured it out in 3 hours but provided me picture and video of the problems cause! would not recommend after our bad experience with Steve all over 37$. Any man who blocks customers from his Facebook page so they can not leave a bad review should not be trusted. This right here is a red flag. His reviews are therefore biased and he’s obviously someone more concerned with his personal reputation than he is with his great customer service he speaks of. He will willingly post his version but refuses to allow feedback. Reading through his google reviews shows I was not the only one being accused of yelling and cursing at him, as well, the events that transpired were equally drastically different. Good customer care is exactly that...caring for your customers!! Lying and manipulating the chain of events as well as accusing US of the bad behaviour is appalling. Seems to be his MO!

My first experience (so far) with Phobia was Great. From my first phone call, to vehicle pickup the staff were great to deal with. They don't make up issues like other garages. They have actually showed me what was wrong with the car when I brought it in to get checked out. Sitting in the waiting room, you can tell it's a good atmosphere for the employees, and that the company actually cares about the customer. Stopped going to my regular shop after coming here.

My engine was ticking bad, hesitating, and backfiring. I was really worried major repairs were in my future and heard Phobia had excellent shop rates. So I took my truck there and the owner was very accommodating, got my truck in on short notice for a diagnosis. Turned out it was faulty O2 sensors. I was impressed how quickly it was narowed down without an engine light on, or any codes. The owner was even willing to replace them on a Sunday for me. Service and shop rates are unmatched!

Went here with my SUV to get the alternator done and they called me to pick it up after a few days. Didn’t test drive it so I showed up , drive off and they had blown a fuse while changing the alternator. Had to turn around and drive it back , did I mention it was a snow storm this past winter? I was first recommended to these guys through a friend. With a little research I found that their shop rate was more then reasonable. And they specialized in the main issue with my truck. When I first called them the people were very accommodating and knowledgeable and very prompt on getting me any info that I required. I took my truck into them and it got done a day ahead of schedule and also had $600 knocked off my bill. I couldn’t be happier with the work they’ve done,they found a couple other issues that were a must and fixed them all with making sure they were in contact with me being I had a budget. my truck is running like a top again and I couldn’t be happier I chose phobia auto. Brought in my work van, asked Steve to check to see if it needed new struts, repair the broken manifold exhaust bolts, check fluids, and swap the tires. When I picked it up, they had done all of that plus put overload rear shocks in -- he noticed I was putting heavier loads in my van -- replaced spark plug wires that were shot, replacing the entire exhaust manifold on both sides, and replaced tie rod ends (all of this cleared by me first). All within $50 of the quote... $42.83 to be exact. Steve and his crew went above and beyond in just checking the boxes that I thought I needed; it drives like a new van and was immediately apparent. Their professionalism and transparency means I have found the shop I will be using for all of our company needs.

I recieved prompt service, quality repair at a good price. Car was ready same day and I recieved a free loaner when waiting for repair. My bill only came out to 79 bucks because the problem was all snow and weather related. I expected a mutch higher price tag. I feel the diagnosis was done well and he looked the car over also locating a loose lug nut. Would definitely return for future repair. First time out of service after warranty. The service was better here then the dealership.

You’re not going to find a more honest and upfront shop. I had my Pathfinder on Boosted Auto in Warman. They said it didn’t run well because the timing was out, so I shoveled out $1300 for a timing belt, only for it to run even worse. They wouldn’t check the issue without charging more. I towed it to Phobia because of their amazing reputation. They called right away and told me it needed spark plugs and wires, it ran considerably better, but not perfect. They scanned it and found the other shop set the timing wrong the second time, and charged me 3hrs to redo it, when the other shop charged 6hrs the first time! You have a life long customer Phobia! Thanks for being so amazing, honest, and cost friendly!

Great experience with phobia auto, I have been quoted a totally different fix on my 6.4 power stroke f350 by a reputable tire shop. I went and seen the guys at phobia and they fixed the problem without even touching the parts that the tire shop had said needing replacing. To start off with my car was gross.. old food from my kids in the tracks of my seats, mud everywhere from their boots on the backs of the seats, little toys from them dropping them and playing with them. I honestly didn't think it would ever be able to be cleaned the way it was when we drove it off the lot but was I wrong. I was about to give up all hope on my vehicle when the engine seized in my 2009 Escape...the dealership quoted me an astronomical price to get it back in working condition. Things were looking really grim when an auto wrecker offered me a mere $245.00 to take it off my hands, but thank goodness a friend recommended Phobia Auto Care! The owner quoted me less than half of the price the dealership had and fit me in to his already busy schedule. The customer service I received was outstanding and he replaced my engine, fixed my suspension and an axle leak in no time! I had a high pressure oil pump and injector pump installed at Phobia, and they didn't put a seal on my timing gear cover , so it leaked and totally shot oil all over my engine compartment. When I phoned to let them know they said they would squeeze me in on Tuesday a week from now. I bought a seal at Cummins and installed it myself. Very bad experience, and I'll never deal there again.

Over the past couple of weeks, I have needed work done on both my car and van. Steve and his team always made sure I was informed about what was going on and the timeline for repairs was always kept. Melissa really went above and beyond when she knew when I was coming. First thing in the morning she always has a loaner car outside and running for me. My wife brought our mini van there this past week and they called and said it would be 1600$ to fix. We decided against spending that much, Phobia charged 151$ to do nothing. We then brought the van to OK tire in Warman, they gave us a donor vehicle and fixed the van for 170$.. be careful! Phobia tried to take us to the cleaners! I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. So glad we decided to get a second shop to look at it!

Friendly staff and great rates only reason not a five star review is because of the labels they use for key identification and windshield oil change reminders. The stickers they use are standard printable labels which leave a sticky residue when removed which is almost impossible to get rid of and in my case due to how my key works is causing it to get stuck and not eject from my ignition. If they upgraded the labels I would give them a full 5 star review.
