Several years ago I/we (family) were following a mechanic, he made several stops at different shops...and we said enough, this is a good place for service...since that time we have been regulars with greg and chantel (hope I spelled it correctly kiddo) and GOOD OL RUSTY!!!!...We like alot of ppl, went to a mass retailer for lof's and tires...only to return time after time for issues, bad tires, can't balance etc...ok, ya we learned U GET WHAT U PAY FOR...superior stands behind their products...and then some, they UNDERSTAND CUSTOMER SERVICE..and that is a very difficult concept for MOST retailers in todays market...not just auto service. I think we have been with greg about 10 years...no reason to change at this time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They even got my anniversary and birthday correct larry miller

I've been to several mechanics in and out of Barrie and it's unfortunately quite common to get an incorrect diagnosis. Superior is the only place that gets it right every time. The price seems more or less in line with most mechanics, but knowing I can drop my car off and get it back working as intended is very relaxing. Greg is very easy to deal with and doesn't seem to have that "IT/auto fatigue" that a lot of mechanics and technicians have, or at least he doesn't show it. The staff are very patient.

Superior Customer Service! Long story short, Superior Tire came through for us when our dealership and all the other locations and Tire shops fell through. On a Friday the night before a long road trip to the Atlantic Canada, we got an unrepairable puncture in the side wall of our tire. Saturday AM, Land Rover couldn't get us a Tire until Tuesday and we had to leave by the afternoon to get to the first of our pre-paid hotels on our long trip route. The tire was so rare that none of the specialty tire shops could get it on a Saturday either. Our last call was a shop we found by Google search. A very nice helpful gentleman (the owner?) Answered and didn't hesitate to check all the shops in the GTA and beyond for the exact Tire and speed rating we needed. He had it sebt from Brampton to the shop by our home by around noon!! The safe were so friendly and knowledgeable and even put output lock nuts on our wheels at my request (something our previous Tire shop forgot to do). They even gave us the added reasurareas that we could submit The receipt for reimbursement with our Rim & Tire Protection Plan. And they offered to hold onto the old tire while we are on our trip in case we need it for the reembursment process. Safely on our way for our adventure now when no one else in the city was successful in helping us!! So greatfull the Superior will be our new tire supplier and swapper!

NEVER USE THIS SHOP I went to this shop to have my brakes looked at and they put a clamp on it telling me it would be ok to drive until I got the money to fix it I called back today as I had my brakes lock up and almost caught my 2017 van on fire and he is telling me that he told me only a couple days as it was temporary but if that was the case I would not have left it to long and now I'm out over $1000 just in parts to fix the problem that they told me was ok to drive on. NEVER USE THIS SHOP AS THEY WILL JUST RIP YOU OFF WHEN YOU HAVE A PROBLEM

Excellent experience with these people. I had went to 6 other shops and did not feel comfortable dealing with them. Here they quoted me the price there was no BS and they were really nice people. I told them to take their time putting my tires on the rims as there's 2 more months till snow, they called in less than 24 hours of ordering the tires and they were all done. Prices were very competitive and I didn't feel like they were bamboozling me like I felt at all the other places. Their prices were so decent I ended up getting a way better tire brand for a couple hundred bucks more. Will definitely come back and recommend them. Dave Friedman the Manager/Mechanic is one of the most honest and sincere Mechanic to work on my Vehicle.. I had a problem wit the Axel Seal leaking on my vehicle and Dave and his Team fixed with out hesitation. Then I had minor issue recently that could've potentially become major if ignored for too long and Dave Friedman helped with the situation and said once I'm a custumer of his I will always be treated with respect and he will never turn away a customer. He said ""if the Customer isn't happy .. He won't be happy.."". At the end of the day that says a lot .Great Services.

Was in and out under 1 hour for winter off summers on, on the same rim. The price was cheaper than SimplyTire. I want to be upfront and say that the only reason I am not giving this place one star is because I was lucky enough to notice all the things wrong and take my business elsewhere. I am sure that if I were to go ahead with the tire change as expected, the review would be a one star along with damage to my vehicle. My car has tire pressure sensors in its wheels. The clerk at the superior tire has informed me that they will not be responsible for any damage they may do to the sensors as part of them replacing tires. I have had my car for three years and have done over 4 tire changes. I change to winter tires and back every year. This was a big red flag for me. Another issue was the price quoted. Clerk at the store said it would be 150 dollars, when asking why so much (I have changed my tires for 20/tire at the place, I highly recommend - 2nd time around tire, as well as Richmond Hill Firestone, also highly recommend). The clerk replied that it works out to roughly the same. This is clearly misleading because 20*4 = 80 not even close to $150 quoted without any reference to a price list. The person really looked like he just made up some number. I wouldn't advise using this place, but if you do after reading this review, please share your experience as well. Thank you, Dimitri

They have always taken the time to ensure all my needs are met and take extra time out of their day to check in after a servicing to make sure everything is satisfactory. Folks, look no further. Great service and wide selection of tires to choose from. Unlike some of the competitors, their service charge for tire installation and wheel balancing is reasonably priced. Plus, they don't try to sell you "old" tires that have been sitting in the corner of the store for 2 years+ and telling you it would not affect the overall tire performance and life span (some shops will do). I could not be any happier after I found out the tire set I got from Superior Tire were produced in May 2017. Highly recommended!

I knew exactly what set of wheels and tires I wanted for our new car’s first winter season. After calling around to the “big guys” and being left on hold endlessly or told to wait until December, I emailed Superior Tire and Auto and had a response from Greg with-in 15 minutes and a full quote an hour later. Just a week after that I was on the road with the new wheels and tires installed on our Tesla Model Y. The team was friendly and professional, and managed to take great care of us and our car even during the busy season. They made the whole thing incredibly easy and painless -- I can't recommend them enough!

Very friendly, took a couple of hours to replace the tires on a busy Saturday. Check their ad on Kijiji before you purchase. Kijiji prices are cheaper than in-store. In my case, $10 per tire. Wheel balancing is $15 per tire and extra $3 per tire for valves. Overall, very satisfied.

Went over there a month ago asked them to change a stud as well as to replace my tires and rims. However, one of there employees broke the latch to my spare tire. I brought it to the attention of somebody in charge told me that they are gonna replace it and they will call me in a day or two but it’s already been a month (or more) they never call me or try to reach out to me. Make sure to check your car after you work with them. Update:They only called me once despite saying that they have called “numerous times”. Tried calling them many times as well but they just drop my call everytime.

The shop has a logo saying exhaust on it, so as a customer you would assume the do exhaust work as well. I had an exhaust pipe broken that would require only welding, no parts replacement required. I decide to stop buy the shop and asked how much it will cost me to weld a connection between two ends of pipe, I was told 350$ plus tax, I asked why so expensive and the guy became very very rude, by saying who is gonna do it? remember I am a customer in his shop where it says exhaust and he told me to go and look somewhere else and promised me that i will not find anything cheaper than $350, I went to another place, just a few km away and got it fixed for $70 no tax within 20-25 mins. I will never ever buy tires from these guys or go to this superior tire shop again, in fact i will tell everyone i know to avoid this place just because the guy was very very rude after asking why it's so expensive. AVOID IT ALL COST!! THEY WILL DRAIN YOUR WALLET! THERE ARE FAR BETTER PLACES THAT WILL SELL YOU THE SAME TIRES FOR MUCH MORE REASONABLE PRICE!

Fate brought me to Superior Tire & Auto a year ago when I bid on - and won - a gift card provided by Chantel and Greg in support of a Minor Baseball League. The quality and dedication given to my car has kept me there. I had an engine light that refused to go out, and it stayed on regardless of what procedure was done. Never once did they waiver their commitment to figure out the reason behind this annoying little light. It became their mission to help me in my hour(s) of need. Yes, they could have thrown in the towel and suggest I take it back to the dealership, but they said they would get to the bottom of it, and they did just that. I don’t believe anyone else would have taken on this task, and I am so grateful. I have to say there is a negative side to having the engine light off now, and that is I don’t need to go in to see them except for regular maintenance visits. Update on the bad experience which has been properly addressed to resolve every aspect of my complaint.(Old review)Was told to come back anytime the next day from a lady, when went there, guy name dave came out and told me I'll have to come back four ours later for him to have time to check the brakes. Absolute scam artists, went in for a seized caliper and was advised that both were seized and it melted my break pads and damaged my rotors on both sides. The rotors and break pads had been changed recently and the car was parked and hadn’t been driven with the exception to superior auto. They fixed the “two” seized calipers and I refused the break pads and rotors in which they tried to charge me 890$ we had my car brought to another mechanic that confirmed no issues with our break pads or rotors. DO NOT RECOMMEND !!

Beware - original review I had posted disappeared recently and the following is a short version to warn the others. I will keep an eye on it if it gets falsely flagged as inappropriate again. I took my car to Superior Tire for some work in 2014. After getting it back it turned out they had damaged my car, did not use correct fluid, there were leaks, part was from wrecking yard, even the sum on the invoice was not correctly calculated and they had violated many Consumer Protection Act provisions. They did not comply with my demands and after taking legal action the Court ordered Superior Tire and Auto to pay me close to $6500 with interest. Superior Tire and Auto sent me 13 postdated cheques $500 each, claiming they have no funds to pay the judgement amount in full. Had a flat tire. Called 3 places all of which said to make an appointment 2-3days later. Called Superior and was there in 20min. And out the door 30min later. Straightforward good work. $40 plus tax. No BS No silly waiting.

Great service and friendliness from this shop, stopped by on way home last Thursday, told Dave I need winter tires on my new car and another set of rims for my summers. Dave said he can get them in on Monday and have them installed, he did as he told me. Even though his guy had tooth infection, he still got the job done. Came in with little knowledge about tires other than knowing that mine were in desperate need of replacement. Guys up front were patient and took the time to explain to me the different options available and gave me a great deal on a set of all season tires. Greg, Chantel, James and the rest of the Superior Tire team have been looking after my car for a few years now. We always make an appointment and my baby has always been looked after on time and within the approximate time frame they have said. I had even needed a rush brake job (due to my son's wedding in a few days) a couple years back. Although they were booked up , a space was made for me and brakes were done. Thanks Greg, that was an exception.
