Excellent service. I've been going there for over 3 years with my Chevrolet Cavalier 2004 and never felt pressured to do anything I didn't want to. Injector cleaning, gas filter are all things that need to be done at one point or another and when they did, the car ran much better and I get a great gas mileage. Sorry to hear about other clients bad experiences, but I never even once been disappointed.

This location has changed over the last year. The service and friendliness was amazing and over the top (in a great way) all the lads would remember me because I used to get my oil changed almost once a month. I traveled a LOT. But unfortunately the last couple visits the staff have been cold and not friendly. I also tried to get my rim fixed there a couple weeks ago and the gentleman said they didn't do that there, which is a lie because staff have done it for me before. It was just a simple fix, needed a dent banged out but it was on the inside of the rim so it needed to be put up on a lift. When I said that they've fixed it before, he stuttered and then said the tire tech wasn't in anyways. You could tell from the second he walked outside the building that he didn't even want to talk to me. Unfortunately I won't be returning to this location for further service. Which sucks because I used to love chatting with the old crew and having lots of laughs while they worked on my car.

They perfectly changed my oil, cabin filter and engine filter, and the manager even took at my breaks and even spent 30mins and fixed my headlight for free! One of the better services I have had in a long time and really recommend getting your oil changed here.

As I rolled into Mr Lube I was lucky to get right in, no lineups, never having any time to get an oil change, I was over my kms, not by a whole lot but it needed to be done, I ran out of washer fluid on my work van just before, I didn’t say anything and they filled it up, their was no stale air in the air they made it fun and a good experience, kept conversations and communication going the whole time, it’s a newer work vehicle no nothing major needed to be done right now, just oil and air filter, they kept things professional but fun, and for ease of use I’d def come back for my next oil change when it’s due, thanks again

This is my go to location for oil changes as they are quick, efficient and professional. Last visit was not the best experience, but after talking with the owner /operator this will still be my go to. The owner had called, we discussed the issue and all ended well. I’ve been going to this Mr Lube location for the past 3-5 years. Service was always great but the past few times I’ve been there, the service and quality of service has drastically gone down hill. It felt like when I declined their extra services, they did the absolute bare minimum on my car. I went in for an oil change and they did the checkup on lights and cabin air filter. They said I needed a new cabin filter but I told them that I have a family member who can change it for me. The guy at mr lube didn’t even shake some of the dirt out (I’ve taken my other car in 2 years ago and they shook out the air filter every time they checked if I didn’t want them to change it). When he put the air filter back in and closed up the glove box, he left all the stuff that was in the glove box that fell out, on my floor and didn’t even put anything back. They used to check door hinges and grease those up but that past few times I’ve been there this year, they haven’t. I can understand them not doing this extra stuff when it’s busy with lineups but there was no one in any of the lines and half of the staff was standing around, chatting with each-other. I used to love taking my car to mr lube cause I could easily trust them with my car but now it just seems like everything is so rushed just so they can get you out of their way. I think I will be finding a new place to get my oil changed.

Hands down to the best mr lube in bc. We’re from the lower mainland and we’ve been to other locations but nothing was like this one. Everyone is super friendly and helpful here. Most importantly, outstanding service and with no doubt they are all very professional. The gentleman who helped us gave us advice on what to do next and was very patient explaining to us about our tire damage. I don’t usually leave reviews but this is legit the best mr lube I’ve ever been to, highly recommend. (Tmi: my bf was so shocked at how everyone at Kelowna is so nice and helpful he wants to move here????????

My van had completely run out of oil and I had to get it towed in. These guys are simply AMAZING. They not only took me in LAST MINUTE but they worked together pushing my van inside from the complete opposite side of the garage. They were extremely knowledgeable, efficient, human and pet friendly which I thought was really adorable. Jordan and the gentleman with glasses (I cant remember his name but he was great) made me feel very welcomed and that they actually cared about my van as if it were their own. I dislike leaving bad reviews but this Mr.Lube put my family at risk with their mistake and/or incompetence. Within a few days of having a basic oil change, my husband’s engine almost blew up, we had no other choice but to buy an entire new engine, which cost us thousands of dollars. Of course we went to the Manager and owner with documentation from our mechanic and they refused to help us, it took weeks and us having to call and go back just to get that answer, the owner couldn’t bother call us himself. We will be speaking to the Mr. Lube corporate office, the Better Business Bureau and have already spoken with a lawyer. We don’t have the time or money for this but we do not want it happening to another family and the location should be held responsible for their actions that a) could have hurt my family and b) cost us thousands of dollars. EDIT: see Mr. Lube’s customer service response below. We have emailed and we have called as they said to and still NO response. This company’s standard response to poor reviews is to say “contact us, we’ll help” and “we are customer service oriented”, neither of which are true. It would be nice if they stood behind those things and actually helped. You’ve lost our business and the business our family and friends and everyone else we can tell to never be serviced by Mr. Lube.

I called 30 min before closing because my hood release was broken and I was unable to open my hood to refill washer fluid. Doesn't seem like a huge issue but in the winter it can mean being able to drive or having to walk. Missy picked up the phone and said she can try and take a look. I showed up and she got me in and started trying things to get it open. I have no clue how she did but she managed to get it open and even offered to refill my washer fluid for me. After this the hood would not close and she again managed to fix it after removing things and fixing them (can you tell I have no car knowledge). After all of this, she fixed everything and I was able to drive stress-free. She didn't charge me for the help which as a broke university student i appreciate but she did get a tip because I was very happy with her service. The staff here really care about helping out with various car services are I always leave happy!

Called to ask if there was availability to switch tires. Was met with an enthusiastic “YES!” Made a trip down to drop off the tires. Went home to bring the car down. After 45 minutes of waiting they said it would not be possible today due to system error. Went home to grab the truck to re-load tires. Upon returning there were new customers being helped in the service bays. Only to find the tires with the bags ripped off and one rim scratched from being carelessly thrown on the pavement. Save your money. These aren’t professionals, these are children.

Had 2 slow leaks in my tires. Gave them a call and they told me to come right over. They quickly figured out what the problem was and had her fixed fairly quick. Didn't catch his name, but the kid with the eyebrow ring was great! Could hear all the guys in the shop talking while I sat there waiting and they all seemed to get along well and it was a great energy in there. (Not that it matters, but I like going to places where people actually like their jobs!)

As a former employee of Mr lube 708 Lansdowne ptbo i can tell you this is a great company for customers & employees. you are in very good hands servicing your vehicle at this location there are specific protocols & procedures during a service (eg, communication, team work ect..) that employees are trained to follow during any service at Mr lube witch will protect the integrity of your vehicle in comparison to other quick lubes that i have worked for that do not follow protocol witch can jeopardize your vehicle. these prices are good compared to other shops & there are no "sales tactics" because everything you buy for your vehicle will benefit your vehicle & if you did your research & listened to the technician youd know just how extensive the maintenance schedule is for your vehicle (change oils and fluids such as engine antifreeze coolant , transmission oil , axle oils, air filters, battery , fuel filters more) these are all things that if kept up on regularly WILL increase the life of your vehicle. you should please respect the employees as they go through the service on your vehicle Mr lube checks every point of your car during an oil change so you shouldn't take this for granted as most other shops wont check the things that are supposed to be part of the service as advertised & or promised. the management tom and Allan are fantastic youd be hard pressed to find better management as these two guys would always be there for the employees! tom & AL are dedicated to providing better customer service than the other shops. the employees here work very hard and they seriously deserve respect for what they do here. i always tried to give the best service possible as long as the customer would let me provide the best service possible. just remember that respect is a 2 way street. all customers are valued here, no matter what, on the other hand , respectful customers are held to a higher value as opposed to disrespectful customers by most places... employee pay - competitive employee hours - very good but not entirely flexible employee satisfaction/happiness - depends on individual- - job may become draining after interacting with 15 - 28 customers daily best employees are; Alex , bill , Greg , Evan , Al, Tommy, Tea, Akim, Ed dean, Damon. honorable mentions Spencer , Ryann , devin , Eddie , Matt & Jeff, Randal

Mr Lube is the biggest ripoff in the car industry. Charged me $128 for a synthetic oil change for my Honda and they were trying to sell me cabin air filter as usual. I pay $79 at the Honda dealership. It’s ok if you want service without appointment and are willing to pay double for lower quality service.

Our rear tire popped on the driver's side on Saturday night and we didn't realize it until around 4pm. All the shops were about to close. We called over 10 tire shops that were still open and this Mr. Lube location was the only shop that does first come first serve for tire changes. They even had tires in stock that we need! Every other tire location said that the earliest they could fit us in was Monday, so we'd have to take time off work to get it fixed if that was the case. So glad we found this location and the service was great. We hung around for 20 minutes while they changed out both rear tires and the service was great! Definitely going back there again.

Was concerned today after having my engine light come on about my car having major issues. I made an appointment with Canadian Tire but they couldnt get me in until Thursday and wanted 100$ just to check it. Thought I'd see what Mr. Lubes prices were to check this instead. Rick, a super great and friendly guy, checked it for me and after telling me it was a harmless sensor issue he reset it all for free. Amazing and a huge relief. I received their free Michelle windshield wipers promotion and recently their $15 off promotion and was thinking of stopping by to make use of at least the $15 off oil change lately. Today I finally decided that I need to at least get the windshield wipers with the $15 off offer. I was so glad I stopped by. Not only did they told me honestly that I have 2 more months before oil change is required, they also replaced my windshield wipers for free as long as I promised to give them a 5 stars review afterwards which I am doing now. I kept telling my son they do good jobs and take care of my vehicle's needs as required. I am telling Victorians that they do very good jobs and really take care of customers. I have many horrible experience with car services including I believe purposedly wreck my car to create work for future visits although I can't prove it of course. Wish they expand more of their auto services including any car services that would be ideal. This is exactly what customers need, honest direct communications and work when it is needed. I highly recommend this company customer's service which is what it should be.

I got my oil changed here and I was told that my battery was failing and needed to be replaced immediately. I later tested my battery myself by measuring the fluid density in all cells, the voltage and the cold weather cranking amps. The battery tested well in all categories and continues to start the truck in -20 temperatures. I conclude that these guys will tell you anything to make a sale.

BEWARE!!! I had a tire puncture that needed repair. They called me an hour later saying that another (second) puncture was found and that tire was beyond repair. Both punctures were in the middle of the thread so I didn't see a reason why this would be the case. Either way, I took the tire to Canadian Tire and sure enough, no problem. I am also pretty sure I went in with one puncture but there is no way to prove it.... If this is not a scam than at least a gross incompetence.

*Edit* They have made the issue right, and I will continue to choose this location to service my vehicle* Very disappointed. I've been coming to this location consistently for years. This time, I asked specifically for an oil change and transfer case fluid change (as it was due according to manufacturer's suggested maintenance). The guy said no problem - quoted the price and everything. Then he says to me a few minutes later, " we recommend a transfer case fluid change". I said yes, I want that. He said "oh we did the rear differential". I specifically said the transfer case. There is no recommendation by the manufacturer to change rear differential fluid. He apologized for the error, but I still had to pay. I never ended up doing the transfer case fluid so I guess I'll go to my dealer. That's why you don't go to these fast oil change places I guess... Lesson learned.

SCAMMERS. Clearly a new owner too. We have groups going if you'd like details on the fraudulent behavior by this location (franchise as a whole but can speak for this one). Use another oil change place in Burlington. They LIE and show you fake results to scare you into spending. Don't bother "reaching out" to them like they write to every bad review. They do nothing to retain customers. Rule is they offer 50% of next oil change lol as if any of us are going back. *and clearly you have many fake (positive) reviews as others have called out. EDIT*** 3 months after posted review. Contacted the branch I went to. Still have not heard anything back from anyone. Will not be returning. Waited 2 hours to have my tires switched onto the rims. Service was excellent! However 2 months down the road I find out my brand new rotational tires were not installed properly on the front and are now worn down pretty badly. After spending 130 dollars to have it done I will likely have to replace them.

Today,21-Nov-2021 i visited Mr.lube 3388 Douglas St, Victoria, BC V8Z 3L3 I had a nail in the front tire of my car, when i just entered, one person asked me whats the problem, i told him i see nail in the front tire & tire is not flat, he told me to come in the queue where i was waiting for 1 hour. when i was in with my vechile, he told me since the nail is on the inside edge, we do not have sufficent tools here. So we cannot repair it, so my one hour was wasted in cold Sunday evening. So this means if you see nail in your tyres on the inside edges, please don't visit Mr Lube, please go elsewhere....

I pulled up to Mr.Lube an hour before they closed to get my tires changed. There were no cars waiting and 1 car in each of the 3 bays. A young man who worked there came out and told me that there is no way I can get my tires changed because they only had one bay doing tires and the car that was in there was going to take the rest of there time to complete. My tires were already on the rims but they still couldn't do the work aparently. This was the 2nd time this happened to me in a year. I will never go to this Mr. Lube again and I will take my car and business elsewhere.

Over the years between this location and their other one both myself and my company Atlantic ArielworX vehicles to be serviced not only for oil changes but any fluid changes of vehicle will require. We also come here to have are tires balanced and rotated or even switched over to Winter tires when needed. Their store hours are very convenient for we have come here many times after normal business hours of 9 to 5 that many other locations would only have. I strongly recommend mr. Very busy and in my opinion under staffed, the staff that was working was very pleasant however were running around so much things are falling behind. Some staff didn't show up I presume. Suggest having standby staff or stop saying yes if staff not available to do the work. Again no fault of staff that was working they were doing their best. My experience is different then the others on the latest reviews it was simply an direct opposite experience. The guys were curtious and simply offered options and service products. I choose the ones I wanted......new air filters ....... and passed on the ones I didn't feel I needed. A upsell is the farthest thing from what I experienced simply offered options. Don't be afraid to use these guys...... Pickk what you want and pass on the ones simply do feel you need..........on top of that I was out in 15 minutes. Thanks Greg!

You can tell they take care of employees as they spoke highly about their work and what they do and other locations they have in this side of the country. The worst oil change experience. Which is highly uncommon. Brought in someone ahead of me, i let it go. No big deal. But if you're in a rush, or on a time constraint this could be a factor. The new staff is not very knowledgeable or courteous. The old staff were friendly and knew their stuff. And this was the big kicker that sealed the deal for a 1 star rating. The staff member reached into my vehicle with the same oily and greasy gloves that he had been using for servicing my vehicle to TRY and reset the oil life on my steering wheel controls. Totally unacceptable. Had my oil not been drained from my vehicle. I would have left.

Went in to get my oil changed. The guys were great, but I can't help but feel like trying to get upsold 6 times on a truck that isn't even a year old seems like a bit much. Then after saying no to all of them, you get charged for two unrealated 'courtesy services' One again, the employees here are awesome. I don't know if it's managerial protocol, but if I had a grandma that knew nothing in regards to vehicles... this would not be a palatable recommendation for me.

My experience with this Barrie Mr. Lube was great, the staff is very friendly and they told me before hand that it will take a while until my turn comes up, the guy attended me was Amrinder, He did a great job and told me about some repairs that are necessary and needs to be done ASAP, he told me about my front passenger side shock leak and some other issues, and also did the engine oil and transmission oil change within 10-15 min which was fast, Amazing customer service, Thanks for the great experience. Will definitely recommend to my friends and family to come here.

The only service I had done was to change my tires which were on rims. It took over an hour and it cost me over $100. They encouraged me to have my wheels balanced but I declined since I had an appointment to go to. After I paid the worker informed me that the wheel nut was stripped and I needed to take it to the mechanic. He said the car was drivable since I still had 4 wheel nuts still intact. I took my car into my mechanic the next day and they informed me that the tires did not require balancing and that not only did they strip a wheel nut but they put on two of the wrong wheel nuts. They mechanic informed me that my wheel could have fallen off while I was driving. Now not only did I pay over $100 to get my wheels changed incorrectly but now I have to pay my mechanic to fix Mr. Lubes mistake.

Today my car was shaking uncontrollably on the road. I pulled into this Mr. Lube on Henry Street in Brantford and explained my situation. Rick, the Supervisor was so attentive and helpful. He took me in, got under my car and saw that my wheels/rims were heavily caked in ice on the inside. He cleared the ice and even took the time to tighten the bolts on my wheels. He was so kind. Didn't even charge me a dime! Rick's customer service was out of this world! Due to this experience, I will give this location my business moving forward. Thank you Rick.

They lied about my coolant cap not holding pressure, I grabbed the pressure gauge, set it up myself and it worked perfectly. Said he didn’t know how to use it, there were three standing around watching it. Same visit, said my drain plug was stripped, it wasn’t. Don’t know why I gave them a second chance, of coarse they tried to up-sell like crazy when I went back. This is a horrible, untrustworthy business that trains their employees to scam scam scam. Judging from the comments here, seems I’m not alone in my assessment.

Cheaper to go to my ford dealer for the exact same thing if not better. I was in a pinch and needed an oil change before I made a trip north this weekend. The dealer was closed so I thought I would give these guys a try. I was shocked to find that they wanted $85 and change plus tax for semi synthetic when I can get the exact same thing at the dealer for cheaper and have the piece of mind knowing that the car has been looked at by the people who sold the car to me and will likely end up with it back once I trade it in. Mr. Lube was just... meh.. it felt like the McDonald's of a service centre... get you in get you out... and not even at a competitive cost.

I visited this location when I needed a transmission fluid change, shortly after I started having problems with my transmission it was having trouble shifting into certain gears. I took it to Acura because of these problems and was then informed the wrong fluid was used in the transmission, they drained it and it came out black and didn’t look anything like what it was supposed to. Mr.lube either didn’t change my fluid or didn’t use Honda fluid which would cause these problems. Very upset that I trusted to take my car there and then have this happen. Will never be back again! Be aware.

We had to pull off the highway to tighten the nuts on my summer tires. One tire was missing a nut, the rest were finger tight. Good thing I had the right tools. I like Mr. Lube, but if a skinny kid is gonna do the work, changing your tires, perhaps a bigger person should check and or finish tightening the nuts. They were very fast though, but in this case, they should have been slower, or stronger.

Hi price, lots of upselling, and they lost/stole my battery cover clips. I had 2 on the cover for my battery (double purpose as air box inlet) when i went in and they are both gone. They were good clips and they were important. I decided to check my oil about a week after my service and noticed that the cover wasn't where it was supposed to be and the clips are gone. Very upset cause they're important and hard to get.

I have gone through various places like this but I have to say, I was totally impressed with this joint! Firstly, this place is considerably more busy then the other places. I asked for a few places for prices and they varied from $75 to over a $100. I paid $62 as listed there are enviro fees and taxes extra Secondly, as I patiently waited, I was brought out a paper, water and an information card. Then he washed my windows, sprayed silicone on the door hindges and then ushered me into the garage. It is sort of like an assembly line process. A lot of check, clear, okay being said. As one reviewer said there was bickering between staff members, I didn't have any but would have dreaded hearing it. I will end with, it is super easy to find faults. I found out of visiting these fast food type Lube Joints, this was the best so far.

I called at 530pm this evening (Friday) and asked if they could fit me in for an oil change and a check-engine code scan, and they happily told me it was no problem, no appointment required. When I pulled in, I was greeted with friendliness by both workers, who promptly began working on my truck. Not only did they do an oil change, but they also checked tire pressure, topped all fluids, greased my door hinges, offered free windshield wiper replacements on the spot, washed my windows, checked the check-engine code and explained each issue that it read for me to understand, and just gave a fantastic, swift, informative service for the price of an oil change. I'm surprised I've never gone before, but I'll definitely be a reoccurring customer. This really brightened a terrible day I was having. Thanks guys!

I’ll leave the review up for anyone thinking about going to Economy lube I took my car in for an oil change. When it was done they showed me that there was oil on the engine cylinders and they wanted to take a look and fix the leak. Instead of letting them look I took it to my regular mechanic and the revealed there was no leak, instead oil was spilt on to the engine cylinders to look like there was a leak.... I get want to make money but when you lying to someone that is relying on your expertise and in a position on venerability is very unethical. Safe to say I will not be returning

Time for oil change and I remember the horror experience with Mr Lube last year. It was last year and I will never forget. I have 2013 Chevy Cruze perfectly fine (even the techs were very impress about the condition of my vehicle) until after my oil change. Going back the distance from Mr Lube to my home is about 4.5KM so driving comfortable and all of the sudden my vehicle is over heating. I called back Mr Lube to ask what they do to my car why all of the sudden it’s over heating. The guy who answered the phone transferred me to the manager and told me to drive back to Mr Lube for them to see what went wrong as the manager mentioned that IT HAPPENS ALL THE TIME! 1. Are you serious your asking me to drive back how could I drive back a over heating vehicle. 2. “It happens all the time” what are you doing with the cars pull something intentionally. What a nightmare. I couldn’t post this without picking a star, don’t even deserve one.

Wont go back. Incredibly unprofessional place. Needed to get some relatively routine work done, which they said over the phone they could do no problems. Great, no appointment necessary. I had the day off work so I drove up. After over an hour, parts were installed incorrectly. Went back the second day for them to fix the mistake. They worked on it for what seemed like forever. Not once did someone give me an update on what the delay was, what was wrong, what was taking so long, what the prognosis was, nothing. Zero communication. Finally was told it was fixed - okay great. Came home, guess what? Still wasn't working. Had to return a THIRD time. After another trip and another hour wait, finally fixed. I found the atmosphere in general to be the embodiment of unprofessional-ism. Very little communication, no small talk, no real explanation of what went wrong (twice), no concern for the amount of my time that was wasted fixing simple mistakes. If I had to summarize the experience with a single word, it would probably be immature. There's far too many competitors in the city - I will take my business elsewhere.

As an oil change and fluid change shop they're efficient and reasonable for sure. Unfortunately I had to have a flat fixed here, and instead of removing the weights currently on the wheel and rebalancing, they just added more weights to offset the ones that were already there...this is a terrible practice. It shook pretty awful, so I broke down and took it in to a tire shop and had it rebalanced.

I called yesterday being Oct. 30/16 to notify them I was coming in and what vehicle I had. Upon arrival I notified the staff member I had a coupon for free wiper blades upon purchase of an any oil change. He instantly told me he did not have the blades and could not install them anyways, he then notified me that he did not have the proper filter for my car and basically shooed me away. I complained and he basically said tough luck move on. I called the Appleby Line location, and wow what a difference. I was greeted with a smile, coffee etc. Not only did the Appleby line location install my wiper blades, they performed my oil change, topped up fluids, 20 point check, tire pressure, oiled up doors, and during the whole process received the best customer service ever. DO NOT GO TO THE FAIRVIEW MR. LUBE they are scumbags, lazy and should find new jobs. DO GO to the Applely line location 5/5 star location!

I will never return to this Mr Lube location. The location in Brantford on Henry St is the worst Mr Lube I have ever been to. I used to go to a few different locations in London and never had issues like this. I was asked to move lanes twice which resulted in two people who arrived after me getting service before me. After moving lanes the second time I was told it would be 7 minutes. After 25 minutes they pulled someone else in (who arrived before me), I’m not sure if they knew each other, but they spoke the same language to one another. After bringing this to their attention I was given a short sorry and told it would just be a few minutes. I should be have serviced prior to that customer. I spent total of 45 minutes waiting. I was also really not pleased when the associates were speaking a different language while working on my car.

Had the obvious upsell attempt, but they weren't pushy when we declined (which is nice). Giving 4 stars only because when we looked over the paperwork afterwards, they checked off certain things that definitely weren't done i.e. lubing the door hinges. Can't be too upset though, since they weren't services that we were charged for. Overall a pretty good experience!

We were on our Honeymoon when we got a flat, the tire already had plugs in it so we went to Canadian Tire to get a new tire and have it put on my car. They were "To busy" to put the new tire on my car but of course were quick to sell me a new tire. I called Mr. Lube they said bring it on over. We did, they were fantastic!! great customer service, changed the tire and balanced it. In and out within 30 min or even less. They were so friendly, and went right to work. Horrible staff with terrible service. Cost me over $90 to have my summer tires changed over. They were on rims. Any other garage charges $20-$30. All the “boys” working, were too busy chatting up a friend getting an oil change rather than changing my tires. Horrible service, I will not return.

Brando was very friendly and efficient and was clear every step of the way of what was being done. I also appreciated not being talked down to as is far too common. When he pulled the air filters the main engine filter was due but not too scary - when he pulled the cabin filter it was GROSS and no question that it needed to be replaced. That said, $55 is pretty rich considering a price search on said part comes in for a Fram at $29 and no name cheaper. This wasn't a Fram. Bit gougy there.
