Stay away from this place!!! What can possible go wrong with the tire installation? Well let me tell you. Had four new tires installed on my existing alloy rims. When I picked up vehicle from Consumer Tire, there was tire bead lubricant all over the car paint and tires. The owner told me that the car wash would remove the lubricant (I had to pay for a car wash to cleanup his sloppy work.) The cars tire pressure indicates showed that one tire was inflated 10 psi over manufactures suggested settings and the other three tires where 5 psi over. The owner corrected the one tire that was 10 psi over, but not the other three. He claimed it was better to have higher pressure in the winter, than the manufactures recommend settings. Really!!! What do those car companies now anyway? I had to adjust the tire pressure myself. I returned two days after the install to have the tire nuts torqued. The owner directed me to go around the back and one of the mechanics would torque the nuts. I had the lock nut key read when the mechanic greeted me with torque wrench in hand. I presented him the lock nut key and he told me that it was not need because he remove all the locking nuts. I questioned him why he removed the lock nut key without my consent. His reply was that it would be easier for me to replace the tire on the side of the road if needed, without having to deal with the lock nut key. I wanted the lock nuts put back on, but because I had to travel hundreds of kilometers that day, and I told him to torque the nuts and I would return after my trip to have the locknuts installed. The mechanic proceeded to torque each nut in sequential order. I asked him to stop that method of torquing, and to torque the nuts as per the manufacturer's recommendation. Which is to tighten every other nut going around in a circle. Lastly I found one nut that has lost it's chrome cover. I have paid the price of poor service. My tires are off balance, steering shake at high speeds. I’m hoping they haven't warped my rotors by tightening the wheel nuts incorrectly. I don't know how this dealer has managed to accumulate a perfect score in their ratings, when it's apparent that there are untrained employees working on your vehicle, and the owner doesn’t seem to care.

He is professional, personable, and really made the experience welcoming. I will make sure that I recommend anyone needing tires in the future only to him and Consumers Tire. The value was impeccable the experience was one of a kind. Sepehr, and his tire shop will be around a long time. I can't say enough about how wonderful an experience this was. Was very knowledgable but wasn't pushing any specific tire but helped narrow down what we wanted based on noise, travel distances, what terrain we drove through. It's a small shop with only one bay for doing tires. but don't let that deter you from coming here. The shop owner Sepehr discussed tires with me and based my decision on a few points, Travel distance, highway driving, price, how long I plan to have the vehicle for etc. He also showed me different brands and the differences in them to make an educated decision. I purchased 4 Laufenn i fit Ice tires (they are a budget friendly brand of Hankook) for a very reasonable they were also installed within 2-Days of purchase since I could leave my car at the shop all day. I will definitely be back for future tire purchases.

Excellent tire sales location in Barrie. I called them looking for a hard to find snow tires for my smart car and after calling nearly every tire dealer in the area, they were able to source one for me and have it ready the next day! Most places quoted me a week wait time! When the tire was ready it was carried out to my vehicle and put in the back of my truck - talk about amazing customer service! Rarely would I review a business without using them but had to do this time. Googled “tires” on outskirts of city to check out road noise on van. Dealt with Sepehr at the Markham location for several years. Their prices are very competitive, but Sepehr makes the process a pleasure. He simply is a no-nonsense, straight forward and helpful person, who responds to any inquiry or emails with care and expediency. When I needed new winter tires and emailed him for a quote, he responded immediately and apologized that he no longer worked at the Markham store but moved to Barrie as the new Owner/Operator. He has earned my business and definitely made my drive from Scarborough worthwhile. Highly recommend this new Consumer Tire location, Sepehr and his team.
