When we bought our sonicRS the sales guy had no clue how to work the vehicle. He was very condescending towards my wife and I. Eventually we went to a dealer in Vancouver. Had a update on the computer it took nearly 8 hours. When we got the car back it had scratches in the interior and leather steering wheel had tears. They denied any wrong doing. My wife's sister recently traded her cruze in for a sonic. The car they tricked her into buying was lowest base model with higher payments then the original car. Lifetime Sunshine Coaster. Family has been duped twice by the service department at Haley GM (Sunshine GM). We once came in with an electrical issue in one of our cars, and the service department wrote off the vehicle, saying the engine was kaput. We informed a very trusted friend and long-time (independent) mechanic, and he came in and had a look at the issue and write-off claim. He fixed the electrical problem in an hour or so, and found nothing wrong with the engine. We drove the car off the lot and it has been problem-free for almost 2 years (still going strong). Again, this was after the service department tried to write off the vehicle and said we needed a fully new engine. An nearly-identical situation happened ~1 year prior with another family vehicle. BE CAREFUL, coasters! Would have given 0 stars, but was not an option.

Took my Class A motorhome there twice for service. Once to do an oil and lube and then today to replace front shocks. Their overhead doors easily were high enough for 12'6" height. Great job each time. In addition they diagnosed a front suspension problem. I had 2 other shops look at it before without answers but these guys found the issue. It is covered by my warranty so I will get it fixed by the manufacturer.

I have dealt with this Dealership professionally and privately and have always found their customer service to be rude and snarky. Bought a certified used vehicle from them a year ago and since then have had to bring it back to them multiple times and it is still not fixed. After being told that the part required was discontinued by the manufacturer, we paid for them to repair the broken part and it failed within the month.When we took it back they wanted to keep charging us to fix the part with no guarantee that the problem would be resolved. I found it hard to believe that this part was no longer made (2008) so I called around and found the part within 20 minutes. I have given them many chances and after this last experience, I will no longer be using them for any of their services.

Otherwise I thought they were honest and upfront and accommodating. I purchased a 2016 Dodge Eco Diesel 6 month's ago, which is a really nice truck. It had 111,000 kms and was $44,000 with an extended warranty. Unfortunately the vehicle has been leaking water from the rear brake light, drain plug and likely the rear window seal. The warranty doesn't cover water leaks and after a week in the shop I just received a bill for $715.00. I was told that they only charged me 3 hours shop time instead of many more hours, although a lot of time was spent trying to dry the interior out with a fan rather than a dehumidifier. Unfortunately I needed a truck for work and should have spent more time looking for a Dodge, at a Dodge dealership rather than GM, as any computer updates need to be done at Dodge and isn't covered under warranty. I suspect that I will be dealing with the rear window real as we get into more rainy weather, as you can visibly see a fracture in the rear window seal, which has yet to be addressed. Aside from that Kim in the service department is awesome and I could really tell she felt bad about the bill for the water damage , but her hands are tied due to warranty policy. Every time I have dealt with Kim she is very helpful and super friendly, the kind if employee you enjoy interacting with.

We found Sunshine Coast when looking for a (non-GM) vehicle online. Because we're in the Lower Mainland we spoke with Nick by email and phone about what we were looking for; Nick's help was so prompt, thoughtful and thorough that we decided to make the ferry trip--practically in the dead of night and during high season-- to view the vehicle they had for sale. The dealership is easy to access from the Langdale terminal, is close to downtown Sechelt, the hours are convenient and the showroom is spotless. Since Nick was unavailable he made sure in advance that other staff were aware of our needs and requests. This is a small-town dealership in the best sense. Patrick, Ed and Deanna were friendly, professional, answered all our questions and made sure we were taken care of. They made the price of the vehicle work for us. When we decided to buy we found the paperwork ready to go, exactly as discussed with Nick. Buying a vehicle, new or used, is always a big deal financially, especially when you have to travel a bit, so it's great to have all the other details looked after this well. Nick's efforts were well above-par and his colleagues continued to deliver.
